Declares policy after meeting with strident atheist activist

"And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations."
Rev. 13:4-7

Mikey Weinstein has been on a crusade for more than a decade against Christians in the military who speak about their faith with others, but now top brass apparently are listening to him.

After a private meeting between Weinstein and Pentagon officials April 23, a Pentagon spokesman declared, “Religious proselytization is not permitted within the Department of Defense.”

The spokesman, Lt. Cmdr. Nate Christensen, added that “court martials and non-judicial punishments are decided on a case-by-case basis, and it would be inappropriate to speculate on the outcome in specific cases.”

Weinstein, according to Fox News’ Todd Starnes, told officials at the meeting that U.S. troops who evangelize are guilty of sedition and treason and should be punished, by the hundreds if necessary.

Weinstein recently declared: “We face incredibly well-funded gangs of fundamentalist Christian monsters who terrorize their fellow Americans by forcing their weaponized and twisted version of Christianity upon their helpless subordinates in our nation’s armed forces.”

In an interview with Fox News, Weinstein said the military needs to begin prosecuting Christians who share their faith.

“Someone needs to be punished for this,” he said. “Until the Air Force or Army or Navy or Marine Corps punishes a member of the military for unconstitutional religious proselytizing and oppression, we will never have the ability to stop this horrible, horrendous, dehumanizing behavior.”

Leaders of the Washington-based Family Research Council, which recently faced a violent attack by a leftist who said his goal was to kill as many people as he could, said the Pentagon’s apparent intent to punish evangelism makes no sense.

“Why would military leadership be meeting with one of the most rabid atheists in America to discuss religious freedom in the military,” asked FRC President Tony Perkins in a Fox News interview. “That’s like consulting with China on how to improve human rights.”

Retired Lt. Gen. William Boykin, a vice president at FRC, said if the policy goes forward, Christians within the military who speak of their faith “could now be prosecuted as enemies of the state.”

“This has the potential to destroy military recruiting across the services as Americans realize that their faith will be suppressed by joining the military,” Boykin said.

“Our brave troops deserve better. If chaplains and other personnel are censored from offering the full solace of the Gospel, there is no religious freedom in the military.”

FRC has launched a petition urging the Pentagon to scrub plans to censor religious beliefs.

The FRC petition states: “Our brave troops deserve better. Subverting the religious freedom of our troops both hurts the morale of our troops and puts our nation at risk by labeling courageous military personnel as enemies.

“I urge you to resist the demands of anti-Christian activists who are calling for a court-martial order upon chaplains and service members who share their faith,” the petition says.

Tens of thousands of Americans already have joined the effort, which was brought about, according to FRC, because of claims that “religion is one of the chief problems plaguing our troops.”

Some have said, FRC points out, that “religious proselytizing” is “at the top of the list of problems in the armed forces – even on par with sexual assault.”

The FRC noted the Washington Post reported that the Air Force had created a document “with the directive that leaders of all levels (including chaplains) may not ‘promote their personal religious beliefs to their subordinates or to extend preferential treatment for any religion.’”

Ron Crews of the Chaplain Alliance for Religious Liberty told Starne: “Saying that a service member cannot speak of his faith is like telling a service member he cannot talk about his spouse or children. I do not think the Air Force wants to ban personnel from protected religious speech.”

However, Weinstein told the Washington Post that such conversation is a national security threat and “sedition and treason.”

Ken Klukowski, a senior fellow for religious liberty at FRC, noted that Weinstein cites Focus on the Family founder James Dobson as “illustrating the extremist, militant nature of these virulently homophobic organizations’ rhetorically charged propaganda.”

Weinstein concludes: “Let’s call these ignoble actions what they are: the senseless and cowardly squallings of human monsters.”

Kulkowski pointed out that Weinstein endorses the Southern Poverty Law Center, which publishes a list of “hate groups” that lump together Christian organizations such as FRC with the Ku Klux Klan.

As WND reported, the man who shot a security guard at FRC headquarters, Floyd Lee Corkins II, confessed that he targeted FRC because of information provided by SPLC.

Asked by the FBI why he picked FRC to attack, Corkins stated, “It was a, uh, Southern Poverty Law, lists, uh, anti-gay groups. I found them online. I did a little bit of research, went to the website, stuff like that.”

FRC said that when Corkins later pleaded guilty to a charge of domestic terrorism, the SPLC “was connected in federal court in this first domestic terrorism conviction in Washington, D.C., under the post 9/11 law.”

SPLC has refused FRC’s demand to remove the Christian organization from the hate list.

See “Jihad in America: The Grand Deception,” which reveals the threat that is hidden in plain sight.

In an FBI interview, Corkins confessed he wanted to “kill as many people as I could.”

The U.S. government utilization of opinions endorsed by the SPLC is demonstrated in a number of ways, including the fact that the U.S. Army Reserve recently was found to be using a training brief that slams Catholics and evangelical Christians.

Members of Congress were outraged.

“Our nation needs to have an honest conversation about religious extremism and what we can do to avoid religious violence. However, labeling these major world religions as extremists is wrong and hurtful,” said a letter by Rep. Doug Lamborn, R-Colo., that was signed by dozens of other members.

The letter was addressed to Army Secretary John. M . McHugh at the Pentagon.
“We call on you to rescind this briefing and set the record straight on the Army’s view on these faith groups by providing a balanced briefing on religious extremism,” the lawmakers said.

Rear Adm. William D. Lee speaks at yesterday's observance of the National Day of Prayer in Washington.

WASHINGTON—Faith in the military took center stage Thursday at the 62nd observance of the National Day of Prayer in Washington, D.C, as lawmakers and faith leaders gathered on Capitol Hill.

After a series of speakers addressed those gathered at the Cannon Office Building, U.S. Coast Guard Rear Adm. William D. Lee, took the microphone to represent Americans serving in the military. Lee told the crowd he had 10 minutes of carefully prepared remarks, but he decided to leave them in his chair and “speak from the heart” instead. Lee, who described himself as “a man of deep abiding faith who happens to wear a uniform,” went on to defy any efforts to stop military personnel from openly sharing their Christian faith—a topic sparking widespread controversy in the media this week. (See “Religious battle lines" by Edward Lee Pitts.)

Lee mentioned last year’s record high number of military suicides, 349—roughly one per day—and said every 65 minutes a military veteran will take his or her own life. “I want you to remember that number,” he said.

He recounted a recent meeting with a 24-year-old soldier who had attempted suicide but survived his self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Lee said when he heard the man’s story, he knew the rules said he should send the man to a chaplain, but his heart said to give him a Bible.

“The lawyers tell me that if I do that, I’m crossing the line,” Lee said. “I’m so glad I’ve crossed that line so many times.”

Lee pledged not to back down from “my right under the Constitution to tell a young man that there is hope.”

Lee received several standing ovations during his brief remarks. He requested prayer for Christian military personnel to “weather the storm that I am almost certain will come.”

The rear admiral wasn’t the only one in the middle of a controversy: Greg Laurie, the honorary chairman for the 2013 National Day of Prayer Task Force and pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, Calif., addressed the crowd before Lee, despite homosexual activists’ attempt to force him to withdraw from giving the keynote address. Laurie has unashamedly held to the biblical definition of marriage and said he wouldn’t back down from his stance.

Laurie, who earlier in the day spoke at the Pentagon, focused most of his remarks on the need for prayer that would spark revival. He prayed that God would “send a spiritual awakening that will turn the hearts of men and women, boys and girls, back to You. Forgive us, and heal this troubled land we love so much.”

Featured speakers at the Washington event also included, among others, James and Shirley Dobson; Rep. Robert Aderholt, R-Ala.; Vonette Bright, co-founder of Campus Crusade for Christ; Rep. Frank Wolf, R-Va.; and Barry Black, U.S. Senate chaplain.

The National Day of Prayer, which President Harry S. Truman signed into law in 1952, is recognized on the first Thursday of each May. The national observance in the nation’s capital was one of many observances held across the country.

In his 2013 National Day of Prayer proclamation, President Barack Obama said, “Prayer brings communities together and can be a wellspring of strength and support.” He called on Americans to remember those affected by the recent tragedies in Boston, Newtown, Conn., and West, Texas.

CAIR leads campaign against Boykin for his 'Islamophobic' views

Published: 01/31/2012 at 8:49 PM

The controversial Council on American-Islamic Relations – an unindicted co-conspirator in a terror-funding scheme – is boasting of preventing an outspoken retired general from speaking at an upcoming prayer breakfast at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

Retired Lt. Gen. William G. “Jerry” Boykin, a strong critic of CAIR, has recommended a WND Books bestseller, “Muslim Mafia, that exposes the group’s role as a front group in the U.S. for the Muslim Brotherhood, the originator of most of the world’s major Islamic terrorist groups, including al-Qaida and Hamas.

Fox News reported that while West Point defended its invitation to Boykin, the retired general voluntarily withdrew amid pressure from CAIR and VoteVets.org, who complained of his “Islamophobic” views.

CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad said in a statement that his group welcomed the withdrawal and hoped that “the speaker who replaces him will offer cadets a spiritual message that promotes tolerance and mutual understanding.”

Boykin, former U.S. deputy undersecretary of defense for intelligence, is a professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia and author of “Never Surrender: A Soldier’s Journey to the Crossroads of Faith and Freedom.”

He has played a role in almost every major American military operation in recent decades – serving in Grenada, Somalia and Iraq.

Before Boykin’s withdrawal, West Point spokeswoman Lt. Col. Sherri Reed explained in an interview with the Associated Press that the National Prayer Breakfast Service “will be pluralistic with Christians, Jewish, and Muslim cadets participating.”

“We are comfortable and confident that what retired Lt. Gen. Boykin will share about prayer, soldier care and selfless service, will be in keeping with the broad range of ideas normally considered by our cadets,” she said.

In 2010 speech, seen below, Boykin said the book exposing CAIR,”“Muslim Mafia”, will open your eyes. This book will shake you. What this book says is frightening.”

Boykin noted the book’s disclosure of internal documents obtained in a daring six-month undercover operation that show CAIR misleading and deceiving the FBI on behalf of terrorism suspects.

The book presents evidence that CAIR is more closely tied to al-Qaida than previously reported and that its sister fronts are funded by foreign Muslim Brotherhood sources.

CAIR leaders, Boykin has pointed out, share the Muslim Brotherhood’s ultimate goal of replacing the U.S. Constitution with Islamic law.

CAIR is suing a co-author of “Muslim Mafia” and his son, who conducted the undercover probe that came up with 12,000 pages of internal documents confirming CAIR’s role as a front for the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas in the U.S. .

The CAIR attacks on critics are far from over. WND needs your help in supporting the defense of “Muslim Mafia” co-author P. David Gaubatz, as well as his investigator son Chris, against CAIR’s lawsuit. The book’s revelations have led to formal congressional demands for three different federal investigations of CAIR. In the meantime, however, someone has to defend these two courageous investigators who have, at great personal risk, revealed so much about this dangerous group. Although WND has procured the best First Amendment attorneys in the country for their defense, we can’t do it without your help.

May 8, 2013

An Arkansas school district decided to cancel sixth grade graduation ceremonies after an out-of-state organization threatened to sue the school over a student-led graduation prayer, disappointing parents and students.

Tommy Knight, the superintendent of the Riverside School District in Lake City, confirmed to Fox News that graduation services at East and West Elementary schools had been cancelled.

The controversy was over prayer, he said.

“Those campuses for the last several years had discussed whether we should continue with sixth grade graduation or not. The controversy arose out of this one. When it came to my attention, the board and I decided to go ahead and discontinue sixth grade graduations.”

The school district had received a letter from the Freedom From Religion Foundation warning them that a student-led prayer during the ceremonies was a violation of the U.S. Constitution.

Kelly Adams was one of many parents who attended a school board meeting on Monday when the decision was made.

“As Christians – and a mainly Christian town – I think, there were a lot of people hurt that our rights were taken away,” Adams told television station KAIT. “A lot of people were upset. A lot of moms were really upset and I was very upset.”

Adams said parents are hoping to have an alternative graduation ceremony for the children.

“We’re not trying to be pushy or ugly to anybody,” she said. ‘We just want them to know there is a God who loves them.”

The Freedom From Religion Foundation said they were acting on behalf of an unidentified, “concerned parent.”

“It makes no difference how many families want prayer or wouldn’t be offended by prayer at their graduation ceremony,” wrote FFRF attorney Patrick Elliott. “The Supreme Court has settled this matter – school graduations must be secular to protect the freedom of conscience of all students.”

KAIT-Jonesboro, AR-News, weather, sports

Barry Lynn, executive director of Americans United, told Fox News the school district’s response was foolish.

“When a school system is told not to include one item and then they get angry and frustrated and stop the entire rest of the ceremony – that is a foolish, ridiculous response,” Lynn said.

He said public schools should protect the Constitutional rights of all students.

“When the Constitution says you cannot have a prayer at a graduation, the answer is get rid of the prayer not get rid of the entire graduation for all of the children,” he said.

September 15, 2012 | Filed under: Big Brother,Evangelism and Missions,Highlights,Law & Government,Life & Society,Persecution,Top Stories | By: Heather Clark

A pastor and five members of his ministry team were arrested Friday night in New Orleans, Louisiana for preaching on Bourbon Street after sunset.

Pastor Troy Bohn of RAVEN Ministries (Restoring a Vision and Evangelizing Nations) and his ministry associates were taken into custody as they were sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ after 10:00 p.m. with the many men and women who had gathered on the infamous street.

Bourbon Street is located in the French Quarter, and is most known for its preponderance of bars and strip clubs. It is the center of night life in the city and also a tourist attraction during events like Mardis Gras and the Southern Decadence Festival, which are known for featuring lewd acts in the streets. Bohn called the area his “mission field” as he has been preaching in the city since 1996. He said that he engages in evangelistic activity in New Orleans at least three times a week.

“Jesus saw the multitudes and was moved with compassion for them. … [Similarly], he’s given us a love for the city and the people here,” Bohn stated. “Would I be willing to go through somebody tossing beer in my face or cursing me out to reach somebody? Yes.”

He outlined that last night was typical of most nights as the group began sharing Christ with the crowds.

“We had our cross set up, and one young man that works with us [named Logan] was sharing the Gospel,” he explained to Christian News Network. “Some of the girls were talking to others.”

Bohn said that as the preaching went forth, a sergeant with the New Orleans Police Department approached, and so Bohn asked him what was the matter.

“[He said,] there’s an ordinance against aggressive solicitation and you are under arrest,” he recounted. “They began to handcuff Logan and they said, ‘We’re going to cuff you guys so you can’t take off.’”

Bohn said that as the incident unfolded, he heard the sergeant give the order, “Be sure to find out what church they are with because we are going to start going after these churches.”

“It kind of chilled me,” he stated. “Are we the threat preaching Jesus? No, I kind of like to think that we are holding back the darkness.”

Bohn explained that one of the women that was arrested, named Kelsey, was saved during their outreach at Voodoo Fest last October, and now goes out with the group to share Christ with others.

“A young lady had come by [one night] who was working at one of the strip clubs,” he recounted. “Something spoke to her that said, ‘Get out of there,’ and then she saw the cross and gave her heart to Jesus that night. … She’s just a totally changed person.”

Pastor Troy Bohn prays with a man that he had been sharing the Gospel with on Bourbon Street.

“There’s a lot of Kelsey’s out there that are just looking for somebody in a dark place,” Bohn added. “So many of the girls are hooked on drugs, abusive situations and backyard prostitution.”

After the ministry team was placed under arrest, they were all marched down to the precinct house where they were held for one hour. Bohn and two others were charged with violating the ordinance; the others, including both women, were not processed.

As he was being held, Bohn confronted the sergeant about his comments, who stated that he was just following orders, although he did not agree with them. Bohn said that he asked the officer what he would do if the mere mention of Christ on the streets became illegal.

“I’m a Christian and I used to be a youth minister,” he remembered the sergeant responding. “And one day, I will have to cross that line.”

The sergeant then asked Bohn if the group planned on returning to Bourbon Street the following night. Bohn indicated that they were — ordinance or not.

“Well, I may be out there with you because I’m off tomorrow,” Bohn said that the sergeant replied.

The group was then released and returned home at approximately 2 a.m.

Last October, the City of New Orleans ratified the “Aggressive Solicitation” ordinance in an effort to not only curb the forceful solicitation of donations in the popular section of the French Quarter, but to also place limitations on political and religious speech.

Former mayoral candidate Leo Watermeier recently advised that he has complained to officials that police are not enforcing the ordinance with consistency, noting that Christians are still gathering on the street after dark to speak out against homosexual practices. He believes that the law was crafted in part due to the significant number of religious “protesters” that are known to be on the street in the evening.

The section of the ordinance that Bohn and his team are being charged with violating states, “It shall be prohibited for any person or group of persons to loiter or congregate on Bourbon Street for the purpose of disseminating any social, political or religious message between the hours of sunset and sunrise.”

Evangelist Tony Miano, a 20-year law enforcement veteran who was once named “Deputy of the Year” by the City of Santa Clarita, California, says that the ordinance is problematic.

“I agree that this law is ridiculous,” he told Christian News Network. “I suspect that once rightly challenged, it will be overturned. … On its face it seems patently unconstitutional.”

Miano said that he believes the city is attempting to justify its actions by restricting free speech of any kind on Bourbon Street after dark.

“They think the language is such that as long as [they] silence everybody, then its okay to silence anybody,” he explained.

Miano stated that if he were currently serving as an officer and were faced with enforcing such a law, he would approach his superiors and attempt to find an alternate way to handle the matter.

Peter Fox, former 17-year Virginia deputy sheriff and patrol officer, who now serves as pastor of Safe Harbor Church and Community Center in Akutan, Alaska, agreed.

“We’ve all taken an oath to uphold the Constitution,” he said. “When you have someone who’s using freedom of speech, it’s our duty as law enforcement to let that speech take place.”

As previously reported, last month, a group of nine men not affiliated with Bohn’s ministry were also arrested for engaging in free speech on Bourbon Street after sundown. They had been speaking during the Southern Decadence Festival, a homosexual event that is marked by public drunkenness and open sex acts.

“I know it won’t end on Bourbon Street,” Bohn stated. “It’ll go to your street. It’ll go to my street.”

Penalties for violations of the “Aggressive Solicitation” ordinance include a $500 fine and a maximum of six months imprisonment.

Police were not available for comment at press time.

24 yrs as Associate of Pediatrics, USC School of Medicine. Founder and President of Focus on the Family. Honorary doctorate degrees from such schools as Biola University, Pepperdine University (1983), Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio [a Catholic university] (1988), Seattle Pacific University (1988), Asbury Theological Seminary (1989), Mid America Nazarene College (1992), and Liberty University (1993).; received numerous honors including, the Humanitarian Award from the California State Psychological Assn.; The Catholic Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio, bestowed an honorary doctorate upon him as a statement of their support for Focus on the Family (Evangelical Catholics, p. 200). The September 1990, issue of New Covenant, a Catholic charismatic magazine, featured Dobson and a very positive report on Focus on the Family.

FOTF has 35 affiliated political groups in 35 states under the direction of extremely strong grass roots lobbies. About 4% of FOTF's annual budget is devoted to public policy projects, voter education, and lobbying (i.e., over $4 million!). Dobson himself has served in a variety of consulting capacities to the Carter, Reagan, and Bush administrations, and was nominated by (then) Senate majority leader Bob Dole to the Presidential Commission on Child and Family Welfare in the Clinton administration; he received the loving attention of virtually all of the 1996 Republican presidential candidates, although he has been virtually ignored by George W. Bush's 2000 Campaign. 35.

One former employee of Focus on the Family has coined the term "Dobsonology":

"Dobsonology is a mixture of psychology, humanism, New Age, political activism and ecumenism packed in a silver box of morality; it is tied with a golden ribbon of assorted Scriptures -- not necessarily in context. It is being sold to the Christian Community in lieu of Biblical authority through sound doctrine by James Dobson and his Focus On The Family Organization." 36

In the late 1980s, Dobson helped form the Religious Alliance Against Pornography which included Roman Catholic priests and bishops. The 1986 meeting was held in St. Patrick's Cathedral. Dobson praised the unity which was present at that meeting and stated that "there has been great camaraderie among the top leaders of virtually all religious groups" in the U.S. (1/87, Focus on the Family). Of this alliance Jerry Kirk said, "Never before have we seen Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, Greek Orthodox and (Mormon) leaders come together in such agreement and cooperation on an issue." Also represented at the meeting were the National Association of Evangelicals [See: Fuller> %3CSTRONG%3EThe%20Original%20%20Five[/size]%3C/STRONG%3E%3C/a%3E%3CSTRONG%3E%3Cfont%20size=]] National Council of Churches, the Southern Baptist Convention %3CSTRONG%3EThe%20Original%20%20Five[/size]%3C/STRONG%3E%3C/a%3E%3CSTRONG%3E%3Cfont%20size=]37 and Charismatics. A Catholic archbishop called the alliance "an ecumenical miracle" (8/22/98, FBIS)." 38
Dobson has frequently welcomed Roman Catholics and Mormons on his radio show, welcoming all as members of "the family of God." In late 1989, Dobson offered a calendar with a peculiarly Mormon slogan, "Families Are Forever," which summarizes the Mormon doctrine of eternal progression of Mormon "temple-sealed" families (4/15/91, Calvary Contender 39.). Dobson is also the possessor of an honorary doctorate from the Roman Catholic (Franciscan) University of Steubenville in Ohio, and was featured in a 9/90 five-page article (with cover photo) in the Catholic charismatic magazine New Covenant. (Reported in The Fundamentalist Digest, November-December 1991.) 40 For Mormons See:

In the 11/89 issue of FOTF's Clubhouse magazine for children, a smiling "Mother" Teresa was on the cover, and the lead article was entitled, "Teresa of Calcutta: Little Woman with a Big Heart." The readers of this magazine were made to think that Mother Teresa was a genuine New Testament Christian and that she was doing a great work for God through her Sisters of Charities mission. "Mother" Teresa was, in reality, a New Age pantheist who considered Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, and other religions all to be acceptable ways to God. 41

Protestant-turned-Catholic Scott Hahn, a theology professor at Franciscan University, and a very popular guest on evangelical radio programs across the country, began one interview by gushing over the fact that his Catholic school has impressed leading evangelicals James Dobson and Chuck Colson. He quoted Dobson as noting that "he had never seen a campus where the students take the Lordship of Jesus Christ so seriously." Hahn then added that Colson had nominated the Catholic university for membership in the Evangelical College Coalition because, "it really is a dynamic orthodox Catholic university that is as evangelical as it is Catholic." (Source: Scott Hahn interview, "Pittsburgh Talks," WORD-FM; as reported in the 4/96, The Berean Call.) 42

Dr. Joseph Nicolosi, a Roman Catholic psychotherapist, was a major speaker at a November 1998 conference sponsored by James Dobson's Focus on the Family organization. Dobson held two more conferences in 1999 (on 8/14/99 and 11/6/99) in which Nicolosi was again featured. 43.

Signed 1993 Covenant of Mutual Respect responding to objections of Catholic and Jewish leaders in Colorado Springs that "Jewish and Catholic youth were being evangelized at school." In this covenant the parties agreed to respect one another's diverse beliefs and to avoid "polarization" Signers included Focus on the Family, Young Life, International Students, Inc., and the Navigators and others.

In 1989 Focus on the Family vice president Rolf Zettersten testified: "One of the striking first impressions I had when I came to Focus on the Family seven years ago was the diversity of denominations represented by my co-workers" (Focus on the Family, December 1988). He said: "I joined the Nazarenes, Presbyterians, Baptists, and Charismatics (& many other denominations) who had cast their theological distinctives aside in order to achieve a common objective--to help families."

Bill Bright fasted 40 days during the summer of 1994, during which he claims to have received a "prophecy from God" that a mighty revival is coming. He then issued a call for hundreds of liberals, charismatics, and new-evangelicals to gather in Orlando 12/5/94-12/7/94 to fast and pray for revival. An Invitation Committee made up of a hodgepodge of 72 liberals, new evangelicals, and charismatics was formed. Included were: Robert Schuller, Charles Colson, E.V. Hill, Jack Hayford, James Dobson, W.A. Criswell, Charles Stanley, Paul Crouch, Luis Palau, Bill Gothard, Pat Robertson, Kay Arthur, and Larry Burkett. 44.

MessagePosté le: Sam 18 Mai - 17:41 (2013)    Sujet du message: IRS ASKED PRO-LIFE GROUP TO INCLUDE THE CONTENT OF THEIR PRAYERS?! Répondre en citant

by Debra Heine17 May 2013

At the House Ways and Means Committee hearing, this morning, Republicans struggled in vain to get former IRS Commissioner Steven Miller to condemn any of the egregious activities of his agency. And he wouldn't agree that they were "targeting" any groups even though the IG report repeatedly referred to the targeting of groups.

When asked if he took any notes about these matters, he said he couldn't remember.

Rep Roskam caught Miller in a bit of a slip up when he answered one question by saying that he would have to check his notes. "Why do you need to check your notes if you're not sure you have notes?" Roskam demanded.

Miller answered, "Please!"

Life News reported yesterday that the IRS subjected one pro-life group to “repeated and lengthy unconstitutional requests for information about the viewpoint and content of its educational communications, volunteer prayer vigils, and other protected activities.”

One of the more shocking revelations to come out of today's hearing came from Republican Rep. Aaron Schock, who asked Miller if the IRS had indeed asked a pro-life group to include the content of their prayers.

MessagePosté le: Dim 19 Mai - 18:47 (2013)    Sujet du message: MICHIGAN FEDERAL JUDGE ALLOWS MUSLIM VIOLENCE TO SUPPRESS CHRISTIAN SPEECH Répondre en citant

Posted on May 19, 2013 by creeping

Immediate Appeal Filed. via AFLC – American Freedom Law Center.

A Michigan federal judge today dismissed a civil rights lawsuit brought by several Christian evangelists who were violently assaulted by a hostile Muslim mob while preaching at an Arab festival last year in Dearborn, Michigan, which has the largest Muslim population in the United States. Video of the Muslim assault went viral on YouTube.

The American Freedom Law Center (AFLC) filed the lawsuit against Wayne County, the Wayne County Sheriff, and two Wayne County Deputy Chiefs for refusing to protect the Christians from the attack and threatening to arrest the Christians for disorderly conduct if they did not halt their speech activity and immediately leave the festival area.

Judge Patrick J. Duggan, sitting in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, granted Wayne County’s motion for summary judgment, dismissing the lawsuit. The judge also denied AFLC’s motion requesting that the court issue an order preventing the Wayne County Sheriff and his deputies from restricting the Christian evangelists from displaying their banners and signs on the public sidewalks outside of this year’s Arab Festival, which will be held in June. In the ruling, the judge stated the following: “The Court finds that the actual demonstration of violence here provided the requisite justification for [the Wayne County sheriffs’] intervention, even if the officials acted as they did because of the effect the speech had on the crowd.”

Robert Muise, AFLC Co-Founder and Senior Counsel, commented: “The First Amendment was dealt a severe blow today as a result of this ruling. Indeed, this ruling effectively empowers Muslims to silence Christian speech that they deem offensive by engaging in violence. And pursuant to this ruling, the Christian speakers are now subject to arrest for engaging in disorderly conduct on account of the Muslim hecklers’ violent response to their speech. In short, this ruling turns the First Amendment on its head.”

David Yerushalmi, AFLC Co-Founder and Senior Counsel, added: “This fight for our fundamental right to freedom of speech does not stop here. We have filed an immediate appeal of this ruling to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. While Judge Duggan may have been the first judge to rule on this issue, he won’t be the last. Indeed, we are prepared to take this case to the U.S. Supreme Court if necessary because it is imperative that our free speech rights not be subject to mob rule. This is the United States, not Benghazi.”

Tell it to the IRS, DHS and dozens of other corrupt government agencies.

Open Doors USA
Friday, May 17, 2013

SANTA ANA, Calif. – As pressure between Sudan and South Sudan builds, it seems that the church in Khartoum may expect renewed scrutiny and accompanying pressure.

The Sudan Tribune reported on Tuesday that the chairman of the Islamic Centre for Preaching and Comparative Studies, Ammar Saleh, slammed his government for not taking decisive action against missionaries operating “boldly” in the country.

According to Saleh, cases of apostasy and atheism are on the rise in Sudan while authorities are negligent in addressing the issue. According to the independent media agency, Saleh appealed to the official bodies and the community to take a stand against “Christianization” and find a long-term solution to the problem. He says his government’s efforts in this regard are timid compared to missionaries’ efforts.

Saleh claims the number of converts from Islam in Khartoum has reached 109 apostates. He added that these figures are growing in a “continuous” and “scary” fashion, especially with the presence of atheists and homosexuals. He said that anyone who denies the existence of proselytizing or the increase in people converting to the Shiite faith are either “living on Mars” or are in denial.

Saleh also accused the Orthodox Church of building a church in Ombadda without a permit in a “de facto” manner.
The former head of Ombadda People’s Committee, who is also a member of the ruling National Congress Party (NCP), Adam Mudawi, claimed that they have information indicating that there is an underground storage facility in the three-story church that contains a large cache of weapons.

Mudawi also said there is a satellite dish inside the church and its function remains unexplained.

He accused the church of exploiting poor citizens by providing financial support and assistance to aid its proselytizing activities.

Open Doors has been unable to get comment from the Orthodox Church.

Given the current tense atmosphere in Khartoum, these accusations of Christianization in general and against the Orthodox Church in particular may have serious consequences for Christians in Sudan.

Since the Sudan Revolutionary Front’s successful take of Um Rawaba in North Kordofan, the government of Sudan has embarked on the mobilization of people and have called for support to jihad (holy war).

Sudanese Christians have over the past few months seen a drastic increase in pressure, with the closing down of churches and expulsion of foreign workers.

Sudan is ranked No. 12 on the Open Doors 2013 World Watch List of the worst persecutors of Christians. The previous year Sudan was No. 16.

For almost 60 years Open Doors has worked in the world's most oppressive and restrictive countries, strengthening Christians to stand strong in the face of persecution and equipping them to shine Christ's light in these places. Open Doors empowers persecuted Christians by supplying Bibles and Christian literature, training Christian leaders, facilitating social/economic projects and uniting believers in the West in prayer for Christians, who are the most persecuted religious group in the world and are oppressed in at least 60 countries. WASHINGTON, May 20, 2013 /Christian Newswire/ -- The Reverend Dr. Rob Schenck, president of the Washington, DC based National Clergy Council and chairman of the Evangelical Church Alliance International, will be present at the State Department today when Secretary of State John Kerry and US Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom, the Reverend Dr. Suzan D. Johnson-Cook, releases her department's Annual Report on International Religious Freedom for 2012.

Rev. Schenck said, "The constituencies I represent are very much looking forward to the report by Ambassador Johnson-Cook. Since she assumed her post, we have seen the largest numbers and widest spectrum of evangelical leaders and groups enthusiastically support the Office of International Religious Freedom. We're very pleased with the work of Ambassador Johnson-Cook and commend the White House for its selection of her. Many of us in the evangelical community feel more is being done now by the Office of International Religious Freedom than at any time since its creation by the Congress in 1998. This office is one of a very few in this administration where evangelicals are overwhelmingly supportive and fully engaged. We say bravo and God bless you to Ambassador Johnson-Cook."

Rev. Schenck expressed concern for the plight of US pastor Saeed Abedini who was sentenced to eight years in prison in Iran for his Christian humanitarian work there. Rev. Schenck has urged Secretary of State Kerry to utilize the broad coalition that Ambassador Johnson-Cook has built to advocate for Abedini's release, as well as for the release of other similar victims of religious persecution in Iran and in other countries.

Rev. Schenck continued, "I have asked tens of thousands of my constituents to pray for Ambassador Johnson-Cook and to continue their support of her good work which is unprecedented in any presidential administration."

Rev. Rob Schenck (pronounced "Shank") will be available for comment before and after the briefing and can be reached on site through Mrs. Peggy Nienaber at 202-236-0953.

Christian chaplains are being subjected to punishment by Obama's accomplices and rejected in favor of the terrorism of Islam

Just a couple of weeks ago my column spoke of how Christianity is in serious decline in our White House to Obama’s preferred – and publicly acknowledged favored Islam.

More evidence: In an interview with Nicholas Kristof, published in The New York Times, on February 27, 2007, Obama recited the Muslim call to prayer, the Adhan, “with a first-class [Arabic] accent.”

The opening lines of the Adhan (Azaan) is the Shahada:
“Allah is Supreme! Allah is Supreme!
Allah is Supreme! Allah is Supreme!
I witness that there is no god but Allah
I witness that there is no god but Allah
I witness that Muhammad is his prophet… “

According to Islamic scholars, reciting the Shahada, the Muslim declaration of faith,  makes one a Muslim. This simple yet profound statement expresses a Muslim’s complete acceptance of, and total commitment to, the message of Islam.
Need more proof of Obama’s distaste for Christianity? Just do a computer search on the decline of Christianity in favor of Islam, which calls itself the “religion of peace” a fabrication of truth in the face of facts of terrorist actions and deeds.  I believe Islamists are pledged to destroy Christianity, a truly peaceful religion with a forgiving and compassionate God.

The difference can be readily seen in the fact that Christianity accepts co-existence with Islam without challenge but Islam will never accept Christianity in any capacity.  As my recent column points out, Obama is seeking to remove Christianity from our military and is using Islam as its replacement.  In American military posts everywhere Christian chaplains are being subjected to punishment by Obama’s accomplices and rejected in favor of the terrorism of Islam.
In a very recent case in a posting online, Radio America Online writer GregC, on May 13, 2013, stated in “Bigger than Benghazi” the families of three fallen Navy SEAL Team VI members through their attorney, Larry Klayman, founder of ‘Freedom Watch’, that President Obama and Vice President Biden are culpable for the deaths of their sons for publicly identifying the unit that killed Osama Bin Laden and pursuing policies that coddle Muslims and put our own troops at a tactical disadvantage.

GregC continues, “SEAL Team VI carried out the daring raid in Pakistan in early May 2011.  Three months later, three members of the unit were among 38 killed in a Chinook helicopter crash in Afghanistan.”  He says “the Obama administration carelessly and illegally revealed the role of SEAL Team VI shortly after announcing the successful mission to kill Bin Laden.”

“Shortly after that successful raid on Bin Laden, the president – through the vice president for political purposes – released the name of SEAL Team VI.  That’s classified information that even (then) Defense Secretary Robert Gates was critical of.  So that was like putting a target on the backs of the sons of my clients,” said Klayman, who says the helicopter may have been infiltrated by the Taliban before the crash because the Afghans on board were last-minute changes from the names on the original flight manifest.

“In addition to the identification of the team, Klayman says the Obama administration is culpable for these deaths due to a policy of coddling Muslims and putting tremendous restrictions on U.S. forces.

“This president has set a tone that Muslim outreach is more important than protecting the lives of our servicemen and that’s crept into the military brass to the point where they can’t engage in preemptive fire.  They can’t engage in return fire until they’re fired upon once.  They’re sent into battle without adequate equipment,” said Klayman.

GregC adds for Radio America, “Perhaps the greatest insult to the families was at the funeral for their sons in Afghanistan.  The military refused to allow a Christian minister or chaplain at the service and instead brought in a Muslim cleric who proceeded to slander the fallen.

“For some bizarre reason, probably this Muslim outreach again of Barack Obama, they had a Muslim cleric give a prayer.  Why the heck you would have a Muslim prayer and the servicemen are Christian is beyond imagination.  So it has to come from the top down. And this cleric then proceeded in Arabic. No one understood it at the time, but we have a video of it and it was translated by certified translators.  It proceeded to damn my clients’ sons, and others who died, as infidels and that they should go to Hell under Allah, the Muslim god,” said Klayman.
“That’s unbelievable.  We’ve never even gotten an apology from the military that they did that,” said Klayman, who is demanding a congressional investigation and says an announcement of litigation will be coming soon.

Hopefully followed by impeachment.

Armed Rebels Massacre Entire Population of Christian Village in Syria
(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The armed rebels affiliated to the Free Syrian Army (FSA) raided the Christian-populated al-Duvair village in Reef (outskirts of) Homs near the border with Lebanon today and massacred all its civilian residents, including women and children.

THIS REPORT CONTANS VIDEO—>BBC News – Syrian activists document al-Bayda and Baniyas ‘massacre’
The Syrian army, however, intervened and killed tens of terrorists during heavy clashes which are still going on in al-Duvair village.
The armed rebels’ attack and crimes in al-Duvair village came after they sustained heavy defeats in al-Qusseir city which has almost been set free by the Syrian army except for a few districts.
Syria has been experiencing unrest since March 2011 with organized attacks by well-armed gangs against Syrian police forces and border guards being reported across the country.
Hundreds of people, including members of the security forces, have been killed, when some protest rallies turned into armed clashes.
The government blames outlaws, saboteurs, and armed terrorist groups for the deaths, stressing that the unrest is being orchestrated from abroad.
In October 2011, calm was almost restored in the Arab state after President Assad started a reform initiative in the country, but Israel, the US and its Arab allies sought hard to bring the country into chaos through any possible means. Tel Aviv, Washington and some Arab capitals have been staging various plots to topple President Bashar al-Assad, who is well known in the world for his anti-Israeli stances.

Shirley Chaplin, Gary McFarlane and Lillian Ladele lose legal tussle at Strasbourg court over workplace discrimination

Three British Christians who argued that their beliefs saw them wrongly disciplined by their employers for actions such as refusing to counsel same-sex couples have lost their legal battle at the European court of human rights.

Shirley Chaplin, Gary McFarlane and Lillian Ladele had their appeals to the Strasbourg court rejected in January as part of the same ruling as that in which Nadia Eweida, a British Airways check-in attendant, won her fight against being banned from wearing a cross at work.

The three sought to resolve the matter in the court's grand chamber, its final arbiter. However, judges at the court have rejected the request, in effect ending the legal battle.

The success for Eweida, who was awarded €2,000 (£1,600) in compensation after a seven-year struggle with the airline – a decision welcomed by David Cameron among others – partly overshadowed the contrasting judgment in the cases of Chaplin, McFarlane and Ladele.

Chaplin, 57, a geriatrics nurse from Exeter, was moved to an administrative job after she refused to take off a crucifix around her neck. Her case was rejected in January on the grounds that such an instruction was necessary for hygiene and the safety of patients and staff.

Ladele, 52, a local authority registrar, was disciplined by Islington council in London for refusing to conduct civil partnership ceremonies, while McFarlane, 51, a Bristol relationship counsellor, was dismissed by the charity Relate for saying he might object to assisting same-sex couples.

The court had ruled that both employers' actions were justified, given their obligations to prevent discrimination against people using their services.

Tuesday's decision was welcomed by the National Secular Society. The group's executive director, Keith Porteous Wood, said: "Fortunately, Europe's highest court has now wisely followed numerous lower courts and rejected the applicants' attempts for religious conscience to trump equality law.

"The UK has the world's most comprehensive equality laws which already include strong protection for religious believers and they would have been fatally compromised, particularly for LGBT people, had the grand chamber overturned any of these judgments.

"We hope that this will now draw a line under the attempts by a small coterie of Christian activists to obtain special privileges for themselves which would invariably come at the expense of other people's rights.

"The principle of equality for all, including for religious believers, is now established and they should stop wasting the time of the courts with these vexatious cases."

At the time of the ruling in January the Christian Legal Centre, which backed the cases, complained that the judgments over Ladele and McFarlane appeared to give sexual rights priority over religious liberty.

Central Assemblies of God Church in Tehran, the capital, has been closed. (BosNewsLife)

Evangelical Pastor Behnam Irani is one of several Christian leaders imprisoned by the Iranian leadership.

Next Slide Previous Slide
Government agents shut down Iran’s largest Persian-language Pentecostal church Monday, just one week after one of its pastors was arrested and hauled away midway through a worship service.

The closing of Central Assemblies of God church in Tehran is the latest case of the Islamic Republic’s leadership cracking down on Christians ahead of the June 14 presidential election to replace President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Leaders appear especially wary of groups deemed dangerous to their power base, including growing Christian churches, according to Iranian Christians and rights groups who spoke to BosNewsLife
, a news agency that specializes in the plight of Christians in Middle Eastern nations.

"These incidents appear to be an attempt to stop worship services from being conducted in Farsi, the language of the majority of Iranians," George Wood, general superintendent of the AoG in the U.S., told the service. "Services are allowed in Armenian, a minority language that most Iranians do not speak or even understand."

"These incidents appear to be an attempt to stop worship services from being conducted in Farsi, the language of the majority of Iranians."

- George Wood, Assemblies of God, U.S.

On May 21, authorities grabbed Pastor Robert Asserian while services were under way. They have not told parishioners where he is being held.

"Before going to the church, authorities raided Pastor Asserian’s home, where they confiscated a computer and several books,” Wood said. “Then, they found Pastor Asserian at the church leading the prayer service, immediately arrested him and announced the church’s imminent closure."

Christian groups fear a further erosion of what little tolerance of religious diversity has existed in Iran. Some estimates place the number of Iranian Christians, many of them converts from Islam, at about 100,000, in a nation of 75 million.

Concerned Americans have been following the plight of Pastor Saeed Abedini for several months. An evangelical Christian from Idaho, he traveled to his homeland last summer to help build a secular orphanage, but was arrested for allegedly evangelizing. Earlier this year, he was sentenced to eight years in Tehran’s infamous Evin prison.

In January, amid an international outcry, an Iranian court freed another Christian pastor, Youcef Nadarkhani.

Nadarkhani had served three years in prison and had been sentenced to death for apostasy – conversion away from Islam – and evangelizing. But a court downgraded the sentence and he was released.

Other pastors known to be detained in Iranian prisons include Behnam Irani, who is held in Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj City, one of the toughest jails in the country, some 12 miles west of the nation's capital, Tehran.
"He has been sentenced to five years in prison for his Christian activity," Jason DeMars, of advocacy group Present Truth Ministries, told BosNewsLife.
Iranian Christians fear a court verdict directing prosecutors to pursue the death penalty against Irani for apostasy, said Firouz Khandjani, a council member of the Church of Iran movement to which the pastor belongs.
He urged Christians around the world to sign a petition
asking the White House "to take immediate steps to put pressure on the Iranian government to secure the release of Irani.

"Most of the focus of the American church, regarding persecution, has been [Abedini],” he said. "I’m very thankful that so much attention has been given to him [but there are also] others in prison serving a sentence for their Christian faith."

MessagePosté le: Mer 29 Mai - 16:49 (2013)    Sujet du message: NORVÈGE : BIENTÔT LE CALIFAT ? Répondre en citant

mai 29th, 2013

The evidence is right before our very eyes

Are the following two events which happened at precisely the same time a monumental coincidence, or is it a warning from Almighty God Himself and perhaps His final warning to America? On December 17, this was the headline:

"N.Korea says war with South would go nuclear "If war breaks out, it will lead to nuclear warfare and not be limited to the Korean peninsula."
source - Breitbart

On the very next day, this was the headline that dominated the news cycle:

Congress Overturns Military Ban of Gays Serving Openly, Sends Bill to Obama's Desk "In a landmark vote, the Senate on Saturday ended the Clinton-era ban on gays serving openly in the military, marking a major triumph for President Obama, liberals and the gay community."
source - MSNBC

We now present to you our exclusive 3-part series of proof that our entire Military system has been taken over by very radical, very Left Progressives who, if not stopped, will destroy this country.

Evidence For The Progressive Cabal In The United States Military

Part 1:
The US Military Identifies Bible Believers As Threat To Nat'l Security - What if we told you that there exists right now a document, produced and approved by the US Military's School of Advanced Military Studies in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, that identifies people who believe that Jesus Christ will return to Jerusalem to rule the world, as one of the greatest threats to US security? What if we also told you that this document has met with acceptance at the upper-echelons of the US Military? Should you be concerned that one day people who believe this way may be removed from society because they pose a distinct threat? Is it possible that this is why they have been constructing FEMA camps? The document which we have obtained directly from the War College at Ft. Leavenworth, KS, is called The Strategic Implications of American Millennialism, and will prove each and every word we say. (Editor's note: 3 days after we first released this article, our website was delibertly attacked and brought down for 3 hours. Coincidence? You decide.)

Part 2: Awakening Warrior: How The US Military Views God As The Enemy - Part 2 in our series and further proof of radical Left professors in the US Military who are conspiring to bring down the entire system...and how successful they have been with staging this coup. Remember, these are not radical professors like Bill Ayers or the Berkely crowd. These people are the voices who are training the next generation of military warfighters, and what they write becomes protocol and precedure. In the US Military's School of Advanced Military Studies in Ft. Leavenworth, KS, God is considered a 'delusion', and they teach that the world would be better off if Jesus never appeared on the scene. Today we present one such professor who does not believe in American Exceptionalism, God and the Bible, or the American way of life as we know it. And what he does believe, and teach, will shock you. Professor Timothy Challens wrote the book, Awakening Warrior, and you need to know that what is contained in it has influenced an entire generation of warfighters, and paints a frightening picture of what's coming.

Part 3: Sodomizing The Army - On December 18, 2010, the US Senate voted to repeal the military laws regarding homosexuality. Starting late last Summer, as it appeared the laws were going to be revoked, both military and civilian leaders started to make startling comments about what was going to happen when it was repealed. These comments made it clear that the Hard Left was going to use homosexuality to purge the Christians out of the military.

Part 4: Declaration of God's Holiness To the United States of America - My fellow Americans - the time to act is NOW...there may be no tomorrow. The Progressive Left, as we have clearly shown you all through this series, and from their own words, have gotten a hold of our military, and are at this very moment enacting legislation to forever change it to something that is an abomination in the sight of the Holy God of Israel. If you don't make a stand to oppose this, the chance to change things will be forever lost. So we now declare to everyone, from the President, the Generals in the Pentagon, and right on down to the least member of Congress, our Declaration that God is holy, and that if we expect as a nation to continue to be the beneficiary of His Blessing, that we demand a swift repeal of the ordinance of homosexualty that is now being forced upon us.

This is a CALL TO ACTION! We ask you to read this article and then click on the links below to take positive, immediate action to save the integrity and moral backbone of this nation. = This war is spiritual so fight spiritually against the darkness who surround this world and stay strong in your faith in Jesus Christ, the Messiah. Be Under the Divine protection and benediction of the Most High. If you reject Him, you will be Under the malediction. Judgments are coming upon the nations (Deuteronome 28).

FEMA Detention Camps : This didn't start with Obama, it was in place long before he came on the scene. But he just may be the one to make it a full reality. A dentention center in America built to house Americans? Just the very idea...just the very thought of it makes the blood of any true Patriot run cold. How could we ever get to a point where the government would make detention camps for the purpose of holding it's own people? You need to read Obama's Private Army and the Coming FEMA Dentention Camps

One day, there will just be a knock on your door, and it will be too late to mount your protest. Don't wait until that
day arrives, do something about it now. The awesome fighting men and women who serve our military now have leaders
that hate freedom, hate the bible and hate any one who believes in it. This video is not propaganda, it's airing now
on MTV as a PSA (Public Service Announcement).

You have been warned.

Muslims are winning the war of political correctness in America.  On June 4, 2013, an event will be held in Tennessee called  Public Disclosure in a Diverse Society.” Bill Killian, a U.S. Attorney from Eastern Tennessee will be accompanied by special agent Kenneth Moore from the FBI to inform citizens that their right to free speech involving Muslims might be a violation of federal law
Brian Justice of the The Tullahoma News describes the event’s purpose as “increasing awareness and understanding that American Muslims are not the terrorists some have made them out to be in social media and other circles.”
The social media that Mr. Justice is referring to is a Facebook post showing a man pointing a gun which was captioned, “How to wink at a Muslim.”  While most do not condone this, American citizens do have First Amendment rights protected by the Constitution.
Muslims are clearly a favored class of the Obama administration.  Glenn Beck’s documentary “The Project” proves that members of the Muslim Brotherhood have infiltrated American government at the highest levels, including The Department of Homeland Security.
With this in mind, law-abiding citizens may wonder why this type of event never transpired after the Black Panthers threatened to kill “cracker baby” and intimidated voters during the election of 2008. They might ask why there is no conference with the FBI to explain tolerance of white Americans to the Black Panthers.  Why are groups like the Black Panthers and Muslims always singled out for “tolerance” while other groups are stifled from speaking out against violence?
The article in the Tullahoma News tries to downplay Muslim terrorism and focuses instead on Timothy McVeigh, stating that he was a supposed “Christian.”  The article continues by taking on an elitist attitude assuming that the average American does not know the difference between a Muslim and a Hindu.  It goes on to explain that the event will serve to “educate” the public on such issues.  Mr. Justice further states that there have been several groups of Muslims speaking out against terrorism, it’s just that their articles are not being published.  While this might have been a great opportunity for such proponents of Islam to post links to the above, none are attached.
Further, in a strangely worded comment, Mr. Justice writes, “Sponsor of the event is the American Muslim Advisory Council of Tennessee — a 15-member board formed two years ago when the General Assembly was considering passing legislation that would restrict those who worship Sharia Law, which is followed by Muslims. (Italics added) Was this a typo that should have read “…legislation that would restrict those who worship under Sharia Law?  One might conclude that this is an attempt to combine the political system of Sharia Law with the religion of Islam.  Where is the separation of church and state here?
It is clear that the Muslim community will try to implement Sharia Law in America incrementally, starting with the suppression of free speech.  They will do this by using intimidation and scare tactics.  The Muslims are inching ahead in the war on free speech using the tool of “political correctness” as their weapon of choice. What is most shocking is the following statement made by U.S. Attorney Killian in that same article: “Killian said Internet postings that violate civil rights are subject to federal jurisdiction. “That’s what everybody needs to understand,” he (Killian) said.”
This is clearly intimidation of our own free speech, supposedly protected under our First Amendment.  It is saying that Muslims will be protected unlike any other group and must be handled with kid gloves.  It is stifling the rights of American citizens to exercise their God given right to free speech.  Further, one wonders why this is being held in a small town in Tennessee.
With the recent opening of the Murfreesboro mosque and the massive influx of Muslim Somalian refugees to Tennessee, Shelbyville seems to be the model for the next Dearborn.
The event goes from 6:30 to 8:30 PM and will take place at the Manchester-Coffee County Conference Center, 147 Hospitality Blvd., Manchester, Tennessee.

Contact: Rev. William Keller, Liveprayer.com, 727-420-7005
ST PETERSBURG, Fla., June 3, 2013 /Christian Newswire/ -- Rev. Bill Keller is the world's leading Internet Evangelist and the founder of Liveprayer.com, with over 2.4 million subscribers worldwide reading the Daily Devotional has written every morning for nearly 14 years on the issues of the day from a Biblical worldview.  He is challenging the notion that those who speak out against Muslims could be prosecuted for "hate speech!"

Bill Killian, U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Tennessee, told the Tullahoma News that inflammatory or hateful posts could potentially run afoul of the law. He will speak this week alongside the head of the FBI's Knoxville office at a meeting SPONSORED BY a local American Muslim advisory group.

Below is a letter Rev. Keller wrote to Zulfat Suara, the head of the American Muslim Advisory Council of Tennessee:

I am Rev. William Keller, founder of the 20 year old Liveprayer Ministries in St. Petersburg, Florida. I am a Christian evangelist. As a Christian and follower of Jesus Christ and Biblical teachings, Islam is a false religion, the "non-prophet" Mohammad was a documented pedophile, polygamist, and murderer. During its 1400 year history and to this very day, Islam has been a documented religion of hatred, violence, terror, domination, and death. To claim otherwise is a lie!

You are welcome to have your friends in the FBI come and arrest me for speaking negatively against Islam. In case you don't know this, we have a Constitutional 1st Amendment protection in this nation of free speech and I have every right and responsibility to educate people about what your religion teaches and believes and will NOT be silenced! Below are links to a few of the writings and videos I have created over the years to warn and educate people about your false religion from hell that is leading souls to eternal damnation.

Please forward them to the FBI or any other agency since here is NOTHING I have EVER said that invites or encourages violence against Muslims. That is not what Christians do. It is YOUR false relgion that calls people to violent actions against "infidels" or non-Muslims, and is the key difference between the lies of Islam and the Truth of the Bible.

You may be able to silence people in other countries from telling the truth about your violent and murderous religion, but your intimidation tactics, even using the government, will not work here! It is your historic record to infiltrate a country with the ultimate goal to turn that nation Islamic, but that will NEVER happen in the United States as long as men of the one true God of the Bible speak out and don't cower to your bullying tactics!

I pray you renounce the lies of Islam and turn to the only Truth found in the Bible, and faith in Jesus Christ, the ONLY way to heaven, or your soul will be damned in hell for all eternity.

Agency sterilizes records to satisfy Muslim critics
Published: 12 hours ago
Bob Unruh About
Bob Unruh joined WND in 2006 after nearly three decades with the Associated Press, as well as several Upper Midwest newspapers, where he covered everything from legislative battles and sports to tornadoes and homicidal survivalists. He is also a photographer whose scenic work has been used commercially.

The FBI has censored and modified hundreds of pages of materials to satisfy Muslim critics, including a change that was made because an agency “expert” insisted the Quran “is the revealed word of God.”
The details come from Judicial Watch, which obtained documentation of the hundreds of pages of FBI memos, training documents and other paperwork that the agency purged on the demands of Muslims.

“The FBI is rewriting history in order to help al-Qaida,” said Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton. “This shows that the law enforcement agency is in need of serious top-to-bottom reform.”
Fitton said a lesson learned from the Boston Marathon terrorist attack is that the country is less safe when it allows radical Muslim organizations to tell the FBI how to train its agents and do its job.
“The FBI’s purge of so-called ‘offensive’ material is political correctness run amok, and it puts the nation at risk,” he said. “The Obama administration needs to stop putting the tender sensibilities of radical Islamists above the safety of the American people.”
The organization recently released hundreds of pages of documents from the FBI that demonstrate the effort to purge from anti-terrorism training materials and curriculum anything that a number of unidentified “subject matter experts” deemed “offensive” to Muslims.
For example, according to Judicial Watch, one expert insisted that a particular slide in a training program describing the Quran as the teachings of Muhammad be removed or changed.
The reason?
“The Quran is not the teachings of the prophet,” wrote the expert, “but the revealed word of God.”
According to Judicial Watch, another criticism was leveled against a particular article because it “inaccurately argues the Muslim Brotherhood is a terrorist organization.”
Also, another document “inaccurately states” that al-Qaida “is responsible for the bombing of the Khobar Towers and that AQ is ‘clearly linked’ to the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center.”
Judicial Watch got the materials in two deliveries earlier this year following a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit that was filed last July. The original request for the documents, made March 7, 2012, asked for records regarding a Feb. 8, 2012, meeting that FBI Director Robert Mueller set up with various Muslim organizations.
Judicial Watch wanted “any and all records setting criteria or guidelines for FBI curricula on Islam or records identifying potentially offensive material with in the FBI curricula on Islam.”
Judicial Watch explained: “During the February 8 meeting, Mueller reportedly assured the Islamic groups in attendance that the agency had ordered the removal of presentations and curricula on Islam from FBI offices around the country that were deemed ‘offensive.’ As reported by NPR: ‘The FBI has completed a review of offensive training material and has purged 876 pages and 392 presentations, according to a briefing provided to lawmakers.’”
The Washington Examiner noted that while the Muslim Brotherhood is not on the U.S. State Department’s official list of international terrorist organizations, some of its offshoots, including the Palestinian group Hamas, are.
In fact, Mueller himself has described the Muslim Brotherhood as the inspiration for terror in the U.S. and overseas.
Mueller’s comments came in a 2011 House committee hearing, when he was joined by other Obama administration intelligence and law enforcement officials to discuss the Muslim Brotherhood.
The Brotherhood’s motto is: “Allah is our objective. The prophet is our leader. The Quran is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.”
The Muslim critics also didn’t like a statement in the FBI training material that “young male immigrants of Middle Eastern appearance” fit a terrorist profile. Another document, the objected, “seems to conflate ‘Islamic militancy’ with ‘terrorism.’”
The FBI also acted on a claim from one of its “experts” that the anti-terror training needs to accommodate “the current political context.”
It’s just the latest example of the Obama administration’s accommodation of Muslims, critics say.
The administration also has launched a series of Muslim Outreach Summits so that Muslims can tell federal officials how they better can serve their community.
The administration also is holding educational outreaches to let people know that Internet postings that violate civil rights are subject to federal prosecution.
Bill Killian, U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Tennessee, has scheduled an appearance at an American Muslim Advisory Council of Tennessee meeting to “provide input on how civil rights can be violated by those who post inflammatory documents targeted at Muslims on social media,”  according to the Tullahoma News in Tennessee.
This is an educational effort with civil rights laws as they play into freedom of religion and exercising freedom of religion,” he said. “This is also to inform the public what federal laws are in effect and what the consequences are.”
Killian said everyone needs to understand that Internet postings that violate civil rights are subject to federal jurisdiction.
He asserted that while some Muslims may blow up buildings, hijack airliners and kill thousands, there are terrorists of other religions as well.
Oklahoma City bombers Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols “were both Christians, as was the guy who shot up the Sikh temple” in Wisconsin,” Killian claimed.
The federal strategy made Judicial Watch’s “Corruption Chronicles” feature.
“In its latest effort to protect followers of Islam in the U.S. the Obama Justice Department warns against using social media to spread information considered inflammatory against Muslims, threatening that it could constitute a violation of civil rights,” the organization said.
Judicial Watch noted that the Obama administration already has reached out to personally reassure Muslims that the DOJ is protecting them. In that unprecedented move, Attorney General Eric Holder assured a San Francisco-based group called Muslim Advocates, which urges members not to cooperate with federal investigations, that he is grateful to have Muslims with whom to partner.
The Obama administration also has hired a special Homeland Security adviser, Mohamed Elibiary, who openly supports an Islamist theologian who condemns U.S. prosecutions of terrorists, Judicial Watch said.
In addition, the president has ordered NASA to focus on Muslim diplomacy, and officials with Homeland Security covertly have met with extremist Arab, Muslim and Sikh groups to talk about national security matters.
The State Department lent its weight by sending anti-American imam Feisal Abdul Rauf on a trip to the Middle East for outreach to Muslims.
Explained Judicial Watch: “Over the years, the Obama administration has embarked on a fervent crusade to befriend Muslims by creating a variety of outreach programs at a number of key federal agencies.”
Tullahoma News said Killian wants to let people know about Muslim culture and civil rights laws.
“We want to inform everybody about what the law is, but more importantly, we want to provide what the law means to Muslims, Hindus and every other religion in the country,” he said.
“It’s why we came here in the first place,” he continued. “In England, they were using Christianity to further their power in government. That’s why the First Amendment is there.”
WND reported last week on the “Muslim Outreach Summits.”
WND initially discovered documents referring to the Muslim summits while examining a U.S. Department of Education procurement of data-gathering and report-writing services.
The services are specific to information being assembled by the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, or WHIAAPI, which Obama created via executive order in 2009.
Upon closer inspection, however, WND learned that the Education Department explicitly will direct the selected contractor to chronicle findings and recommendations gleaned from the Muslim Outreach Summits.
The White House views this year’s venues as an extension of a previous outreach to “new immigrants and refugees – some of the most underserved in the AAPI community,” according to a document titled “WHIAAPI 2013 Faith-Based and Community Engagement.”
Complementing the prior effort will be the three “regional convenings,” tentatively scheduled June 15 in Chicago, June 22 in San Francisco and June 29 in New York City.
“These cities are main AAPI immigrant hubs and entry points for new immigrants/refugees,” according to a related document, “Questions Received from Vendors: Development and Preparation of the AAPI Annual Report to the President.”
“Each convening with [sic] include panel discussions/workshops with federal officials on key issues impacting the community and also an open-DIALOGUE session to hear directly from the community about issues of concern.”
Sometime after the three Muslim Outreach Summits, the chosen contractor will develop and then present its summary report to the president and to newly appointed WHIAAPI commissioners.
The contracting action – the first of its kind since its inception in 2008 – will help lay the foundation for the initiative’s future work, the document says.
