SACRIFICING OUR DAUGHTERS: ON THE PSYCHOLOGY OF ISLAMIC RAPE-GANGS (VIDEO)

Posted on June 17, 2013 by creeping

In Great Britain, young white girls are being drugged, gang-raped, and tortured by Muslim men. These brutal attacks are occurring so frequently and in so many cities, it would be positively irrational not to look for a connection. So, why are Muslim rape-gangs targeting young British girls and treating them as if they’re worthless? Perhaps the answers are in the Qur’an.

via Answering Muslims: Sacrificing Our Daughters: On the Psychology of Islamic Rape-Gangs.

For those who want the sources I quoted or referred to in the video, here they are:

Qur’an 3:110You are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin Al-Ma’ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam has ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden), and you believe in Allah. And had the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) believed, it would have been better for them; among them are some who have faith, but most of them are Al-Fasiqun (disobedient to Allah – and rebellious against Allah’s Command).

Qur’an 98:6—Verily, those who disbelieve (in the religion of Islam, the Qur’an and Prophet Muhammad) from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikun will abide in the Fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures.

CALIFORNIANS SIGN PETITION TO BAN CHRISTIAN SYMBOLS FROM PUBLIC VIEW

posted on: June 24, 2013 natalina

Mark Dice’s petition signing movement is sort of like The Tonight Show’s “Jaywalking”, except much more poignant and a lot more disturbing.  Dice has been hitting the streets and boardwalks in California asking the public to sign their names to petitions that limit their freedoms and the freedoms of others, and has had startling success in doing so.  He received national recognition after posting his video asking people to sign a fake petition to repeal the Second Amendment.

In Mark’s latest video, he asks Californians to sign a fake petition to eliminate all Christian symbols from public view, including bumper stickers, t-shirts, and even Christmas decorations.  As folks eagerly sign their names to the petition, Mark makes statements like, “Let’s take the First Amendment away from Christians” – a comment which one would think would give most people pause, but rather generates responses like, “I’m with you on that.”

Dice says to this petitioner, “No first Amendment for Christians anymore,” to which she laughs and replies, “I’m with ya.”

I’m a big fan of this method because it exposes with frightening clarity precisely what the average American is willing to support.  Whether it is due to a misplaced desire to feel part of a “cause”, or a mindless willingness to follow media trends, Mark Dice uses the public’s own words and actions to expose their ignorance.
For those of you not quite receptive to satire, let me assure you that Mark Dice is not actually supporting the things that he’s petitioning – this is meant to raise awareness.

FEMA DENIES AID TO RELIGIOUS GROUPS HIT BY SANDY

Critics see FEMA's refusal to aid religious groups trying to rebuild after Superstorm Sandy as misguided adherence to the doctrine of separation of church and state.

KEANSBURG, N.J. -- Whether it be an overdue rent bill, a warm coat or a bag full of groceries, Project Paul has been there for Bayshore residents for more than 30 years.

But when the Keansburg-based religious charity went to the Federal Emergency Management Agency for financial assistance after Superstorm Sandy caused tens of thousands of dollars in damages, officials say they got the run-around.

"We've always been a mini-FEMA for the community," said Sal Cortale, the group's executive director. "Now we're the ones who need help."

Despite working to help the region recover after Sandy, several faith-based groups in the area say FEMA has not sufficiently funded their own recovery efforts because of what the groups see as a misguided adherence to separating church and state.

"These groups have gotten the back of FEMA's hand," said Rep. Chris Smith, R-N.J., who sponsored a bill in the House of Representatives that would allow faith-based groups to follow the same FEMA reimbursement process as private nonprofit organizations.

In a rare example of bipartisanship, the House voted 354-72 in February to approve the bill. A Senate version awaits review by a subcommittee.

The bill has its critics.

Maggie Garrett, legislative director of the advocacy group Americans United for Separation of Church and State, said regardless of the good intentions of religious groups, taxpayer dollars should not be used for repairing or replacing houses of worship such as churches, synagogues or mosques.

After Hurricane Katrina, FEMA similarly did not provide money to organizations seeking to repair damaged religious structures, Garrett said. Changing the policy now could easily add tens of millions of dollars in annual costs to an already bloated federal budget, she said.

"Once you start handing out money, it can be hard to figure out when you're paying for the religious and when you're paying for the non-religious," Garrett said. "Houses of worship should be maintained by the faithful, not by the taxpayer."

FEMA generally does not comment on pending legislation, said Dan Watson, a spokesman for the agency.

In the Senate, the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs has been assigned to take a look at the bill. The committee's chairman, Delaware Democrat Tom Carper, has voiced opposition to the bill.

Several of the damaged structures that FEMA is not funding are part of parishes that served as community centers or meeting places for volunteers in the days after the storm, said James Goodness, a spokesman for the Archdiocese of Newark.

"The FEMA money has not been available," Goodness said. "It would be extremely helpful. It would be a matter of justice."

In the Diocese of Trenton, overall damage to dozens of structures and properties are expected to total somewhere between $12 million to $15 million, said Joe Cahill, a business consultant for the diocese who serves as its liaison to FEMA.

At St. Rose in Belmar, approximate damage totaled $4 million at the high school, $350,000 at the rectory and $250,000 at the church, Cahill said.

"Everything was floating in water," Monsignor Edward J. Arnister of St. Rose said in June. "Everything was destroyed. We lost everything in the whole parish center."

At Sacred Heart Church in Bay Head, the church structure had $750,000 in damage, Cahill said.

While the diocese had flood insurance, it likely will need to pay for some of the damage from its coffers, Cahill said. The diocese used $1.8 million in donations raised through its website and by special Sunday collections on social services, not on repairing buildings, he said.

"We haven't received anything from FEMA," said Cahill, who expects only a handful of facilities will ultimately receive funds. "I'm still hopeful that we're going to get some assistance from them."

One of the more prominent regional cases of a faith-based organization struggling to access FEMA funds involves the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association, which owns much of the land in the Neptune oceanfront neighborhood.

The association sought FEMA funds toward repairing its boardwalk, a portion of which Sandy destroyed. FEMA has twice denied the request, citing not the association's religious affiliations, but that the federal agency does not pay for damages to what it deems to be recreational uses owned by private nonprofit organizations.

Garrett argues that the separation of church and state is a long-standing American belief that ultimately is about religious liberty: Citizens should not be required to give money to religions they may not necessarily support, she said. Similarly, many congregations may not want the government prying into their internal affairs or telling them what to do.

"Government money usually comes with government strings," Garrett said.

Temple Institute head laments: "The gov't is not asserting the authority and sovereignty of the Jewish people in our homeland."

By Chana Ya'ar and Ari Soffer
First Publish: 7/29/2013, 10:59 PM

Jordan's King Abdullah

Jordanian King Abdullah II added fuel to the ongoing debate over Jerusalem and the Temple Mount Sunday, when he told visiting Muslim and Christian dignitaries from Jerusalem that he will continue his efforts to “safeguard” Islamic and Christian sites in the holy city of Jerusalem from what he termed "Judaization."

The Hashemite monarch also expressed his willingness to “support the steadfastness of Muslim and Christian Jerusalemites and to preserve their legitimate rights in the city,” according to a statement from the Royal Court, published Sunday in The Jordan Times.

According to the statement, Abdullah said that Jordan “will not spare any efforts, whether political, diplomatic or legal to protect the city, highlighting the Kingdom’s historic role in securing the holy sites."

The Jordanian king also emphasized his country's cooperation with the Palestinian Authority, in working to assert "Jordan’s role as custodian of the holy sites of Jerusalem and Palestinian sovereignty over all of Palestine, including East Jerusalem."

Palestinian Minister of Jerusalem Affairs Adnan Husseini reiterated the importance of an agreement to this effect signed by Abdullah and Abbas in March, noting that the accord “has given moral support to the people of Jerusalem and helped solve many of the outstanding problems they face.”

Husseini said the agreement had boosted Jordanian-PA coordination at local and international levels.

Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem Fuad Twal expressed appreciation for Abdullah’s efforts, stating that “despite challenges facing Jerusalem, the people of the holy city prove every day their persistence to cling to the city’s heritage and preserve its identity from Judaization.”

Sheikh Abdul Atheem Salhab, head of the Islamic Awqaf Council in Jerusalem, called Jerusalem and the Al Aqsa Mosque a “red line” for the Jordanian monarch.

He added that “attacks” against Al Aqsa had increased recently, “especially by settlers storming Al Aqsa under the protection of the Israeli forces” - a reference to ascents by Jewish pilgrims to the Temple Mount, which is the holiest site in Judaism.

He also cited “attempts by right-wing ministers in the Israeli government to legitimize Jewish prayers inside Al Aqsa,” and warned of an unspecified “era-bound and location-based” division plan of the mosque, to “eventually rebuild what they allege to be the Solomon’s Temple,” according to the Jordanian royal statement.

"We are not acting like a sovereign state"

The Jordanian government is responsible for the Waqf - an Islamic trust which oversees religious sites, including the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, which is Judaism's holiest place and also the site of a large Islamic complex.

The Waqf has been accused of actively working to prevent Jews from praying at the Temple Mount through political pressure and threats of violence. Despite the Temple Mount being the holiest site in Judaism, consecutive Israeli governments have caved into pressure by the Waqf and Islamist groups, and banned Jewish prayer - and restricted visits by religious Jews - at the site.

Religious Jews who do ascend are "screened" to ensure they are not carrying any holy items which may be deemed "offensive" to Muslim worshippers.

The Waqf has also been accused by archaeological experts and Jewish groups of working with Palestinian Authority to "Islamize" Jerusalem - publicly denying the Jewish connection to the holy city and actively working to destroy ancient Jewish antiquities. Sheikh Salhab's comments about the "alleged" existence of the Jewish Temples is common practice among PA-affiliated religious and political figures. The aforementioned "accord" between the Jordanian government and the PA appears to be an attempt to reaffirm that partnership.

Rabbi Chaim Richman, Director of the Temple Institute, which campaigns for greater Jewish greats on the Temple Mount, expressed his frustration at "the absurd idea that the government of Israel recognizes the so-called 'historical rule' of Jordan in Jerusalem. Jordan has absolutely no claim to Jerusalem whatsoever."

"The fact that we cow-tow and grovel before a foreign element like Abdullah and ascribe some kind of role to him on Judaism's holiest site, is an illustration of the low level we are on nationally."

Rabbi Richman linked the Israeli government's "weakness" on the issue of sovereignty on the Temple Mount to its capitulation to American pressure in agreeing to release more than 100 terrorists convicted of murdering Israeli civilians.

"We have no self-respect," he lamented, "And thus we do not conduct ourselves like any other sovereign state... Today, Bibi agreed to release 104 murderers with the blood of our children on their hands - when would America agree to release such people under foreign pressure?

"Similarly, when it comes to this issue [the Temple Mount], which is the heart and soul of the People of Israel, the government's position is one of self-immolation, self-castration."

He added, "People feel very vulnerable - they feel like the government is not asserting the authority and sovereignty of the Jewish people in our homeland."

However, he added, whilst he has little faith in the political leadership, Rabbi Richman sees hope in what he says is a "grassroots awakening":

"Despite the fact that we do not have leadership, the people are waking up and leading the way... The Temple Mount is a part of the Israeli national discourse, after being neglected for so long. That's why Abdullah and his friends felt the need to so urgently reaffirm their 'commitment to Jerusalem.' Their comments only strengthen our resolve."

"I can tell you this is one of the most horrific sexual assaults I've seen in my career as a police officer," said Lt. Howard Black with the Colorado Springs Police.

We've already seen gangs of Somali Muslim paedophile sex traffickers arrested in Minnesota, Michigan, Ohio, and Tennessee. Other states are also reeling from rising crime rates directly related to the  flood of Muslim invaders,  facilitated by Barack Hussein Obama and U.S. taxpayer dollars.

KKTV  The victim of the vicious sexual assault said that the Iraqi MUSLIM attackers were unhappy with the way they were treated in the United States. Five Iraqi nationals were arrested in connection with the case. Two are charged with the crime while all five are charged as accessories with the crime. Some of the victim’s injuries were described by police as being “rarely seen.”

According to police, the victim reported overhearing a scuffle involving several people at about 1:30 a.m. at the Wildridge Apartments on July 21. She works the night shift and was out checking her mailbox at the time. She decided to stand between the two groups of men in an attempt to calm them down. Following the fight, the victim told police she was invited inside an apartment by one of the men. There, she met three other men who were about 20 years old.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, the victim described a conversation with the men that centered on how unhappy they were with the treatment they received in the United States. The men also spoke about “the Untied States oppressing them and calling them terrorists.”

The victim told police the men reminded her of her own son and she wanted to help calm them down. She also sympathized because she had been in the military and previously lived in foreign countries. During their conversation, the victim was given what she believed was lemonade. Police say she has no recollection of what happened after that.

All of the suspects obtained a lawful permanent resident status within the past five years.

A spokesperson from the District Attorney’s office told 11 News Tuesday if the men are convicted they will serve their time here and then be deported. If they're found not guilty they will likely still be sent back to Iraq.

MINNESOTASTAN: SHERIFF REPORTS TO CONGRESS ON THE VIOLENT CRIME WAVE BY SOMALI MUSLIM GANGS THAT IS ENDANGERING AMERICANS

From BNI:

The sheriff of Hennepin County, Minn., told the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism and Homeland Security on Wednesday about the danger of Somali MUSLIM gangs in his jurisdiction. And we can thank Barack Hussein Obama for having imported hundreds of thousands of Somali MUSLIM lowlifes, totally funded by U.S. taxpayers. CNS NEWS (H/T Wyatt)  Rich Stanek represented the National Sheriffs’ Association at the hearing on “America’s Evolving Gang Threat.” He also serves on the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s inter-agency Threat Assessment and Coordination Group and is president of the Major County Sheriffs’ Association.

Stanek said Minnesota is a “designated U.S. Refugee Resettlement Area,” with a Somali population ranging from 80,000 to 125,000 in the state. As a result, Stanek said, while the African population in the U.S. as a whole is about four percent, 18 percent of the Minnesota population is African because of the large Somali MUSLIM presence. “Somali MUSLIM gangs are unique in that they are not necessarily based on the narcotics trade as are other traditional gangs,” Stanek said, adding that “turf” is also not a motivating factor in Somali MUSLIM gang criminal activities.

“MUSLIM Gang members will often congregate in certain areas, but commit their criminal acts elsewhere,” Stanek said. “Criminal acts are often done in a wide geographic area that stretches outside of the Twin Cities seven county metro area. “Their mobility has made them difficult to track,” Stanek said. Stanek listed five “typical crimes” committed by Somali MUSLIM gang members, including credit card fraud, cell phone and gun store burglaries, and sex trafficking, witness intimidation, with some of the criminal activity tied to international terrorism, Stanek said. “In 2007, the local Somali MUSLIM community started to report that some of the youth in the area had essentially disappeared without warning,” Stanek said. “It was later learned that 20 young men had left Minneapolis to travel to Somalia to receive training and fight as members of al- Shabaab,  the Arabian peninsula arm of al-Qaeda.. “One individual had moved to Minneapolis as a teenager in 1993,” Stanek said. Following a shoplifting arrest, he fell into the violent street gang called the ‘Somali Hot Boyz.’ After a short period of time, he emerged as a recruiter for al-Shabaab, which eventually led him to leave Minneapolis for the Horn of Africa in 2008. “Later, it was learned this individual was killed in fighting between al-Shabaab and Somali MUSLIM government forces,” Stanek said. According to the Health and Human Services’ Administration for Children and Families’ Office of Refugee and Resettlement, refugee programs and resettlement sites exist in 49 states and the District of Columbia and are operated through partnerships between the federal government and faith-based and other non-governmental refugee support organizations in those states and the District. Rep. James Sensenbrenner (R-Wis.), chairman of the subcommittee, opened the hearing with statistics on the gang threat in the United States. “According to the 2011 National Gang Threat Assessment there are approximately 1.4 million gang members belonging to more than 33,000 gangs in the United States,” Sensenbrenner said. “It has been reported that the number of gang members in the U.S. has increased by 40 percent since 2009.” (About the same time Barack Hussein Obama became president)

45 REPORTED KILLED IN MULTIPLE CHURCH BOMBINGS BY ISLAMIC EXTREMISTS IN NIGERIA

July 31, 2013

Almost four dozen people were killed in attacks on multiple churches in  Kano, Nigeria earlier this week in a wave of bombings the military blamed on Islamic terrorists. The explosions Monday left 45 dead according to a report from African news service and seemed to indicate a spreading Islamic insurgency in the country. Thirsty-nine bodies were recovered from the wreckage of the Christ Salvation Pentecostal Church after the attack, which occurred in the middle of a Monday night worship service. Another six bodies were found in two other area churches . Witnesses claimed in local reports that there were another four explosions in the same Sabin Gari area, causing widespread general panic as dust and smoke hovered in the air. CHRISTIANS TAKE STAND AGAINST  'MESSIANIC STATE'

The editors of Leben remember example of Nazi Germany's Confessing Church
Published: 15 hours ago (8-2-2013)

By Doug Schlegel

As the church doors swung open across Germany to accommodate the throngs of young brown-shirted Nazis, in parish after parish they outnumbered – and out-voted – the members of the “Young Reformation Movement.”

When the national synod convened, the Nazi takeover of the established church was complete. The new “German Christian” church leaders, in what became known as the “Brown Synod,” passed the Aryan Clause forbidding those of Jewish descent from serving in the church. Church steeples and altars were festooned with Nazi banners, robed clerics apishly saluting a Fuehrer who had publicly called upon Germans to “keep the church the church” and to insure that it did not become a competing authority with the state.

Lutheran Pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer, who had led a group of young reformers against the brown shirts at the synod, believed it was time to pull out of the state church altogether, particularly after passage of the Aryan Clause, but the other most prominent church critic of the National Socialists, Karl Barth, believed they should stay and fight from within. Few stopped to ponder how the church had come to find itself in such a nightmarish quandary, and it was not at all apparent how, or if, the church could be pulled back from the precipice.

There are times when the current of history is a raging torrent, and the strength and violence of that current is fed by headwaters that are distant and sometimes obscure. The history of Protestantism in Germany during the early 20th century is such a whitewater time. There were many forces, tributaries if you will, that fed this river, which found its most dramatic moment with the rise to power of National Socialism. Of course, it is well known that the rise of German National Socialism ended with the dramatic waterfall of World War II, where the course of the river was decided as National Socialism was dashed against the rocks.

What was the church doing, if anything, as Hitler was consolidating power and the true nature of National Socialism became apparent? Was the church complicit with the rise of Hitler, or was there a stand against the growing evil?

There is one event that will serve as an indication of what the church was doing – The Synod of Barmen and the resulting Barmen Confession.

As noted above, we have to search for the headwaters. Sometimes the headwaters are personalities, sometimes they are questions and sometimes they are ideas; usually they are all three. There are at least four sources to the troubled waters of the early 20th century: Luther’s doctrine of the “Two Kingdoms”; the consolidation and imposed unity of the German Protestants by royal decree; the effects of World War I and the establishment of the Weimar Republic; and the rise of German nationalism, the concept of the Volk, with the coincident fall in church life and affiliation.

The basic issues of the relationship between the kingdom of God, the church, and the world were wrestled with as far back as Augustine, bishop of Hippo in the late 4th and early 5th centuries. But Augustine did not provide the last word, and the church still wrestled for a millennium until the time of that famous German Augustinian monk, Martin Luther. It is Luther’s theological legacy which concerns us here. In particular, the early 20th Century German Protestants had to deal with the implications of Luther’s doctrines of the Two Kingdoms and the related doctrine of the Orders of Creation.

Rightly or wrongly, Luther’s doctrine of the Two Kingdoms had come to be understood by the majority of Lutherans as a prohibition on the church from “meddling” in the state’s affairs because the church’s responsibilities are in the sphere of salvation and are a matter of faith, and the state’s responsibilities are in the sphere of justice and law and are a matter of reason.

Even today it is a matter of debate if Luther actually taught this, but the reality is that in Germany in the 1920s it was the predominate (or at least the more vocal) view, and one that was expressly embraced by the Nazis to promote church acquiescence in matters of state.

It is easy to see how this understanding would foster passivity in regards to the growing power – and abuse of power – of the state. But this doctrine was also buttressed by the parallel doctrine of the Orders of Creation. The doctrine of the Orders of Creation taught “that Christians, like all other human beings, exist in a framework of universal structures that are prior to and apart from the fact that Christians believe in Christ and belong to his church. God has placed all human beings in particular structures of existence – such as nationality, race, sexual identity, family, work, government – that in some form or other are simply givens of creaturely existence. The law and commandments of God are revealed through these common created morphological structures of human existence and function apart from and in tension with the special revelation of God in the gospel of Jesus Christ.”

Followed to their logical conclusions, these theological positions lead to a particular destination, as we will see later. These basic theological assumptions were used by theologians such as Paul Althaus to frame an understanding of the relationship between the church and state.

The second source began in earnest in the early 19th century. In 1817, Friedrich Wilhelm III sought to unify the fractured German churches by decree into a single, evangelical church and The Evangelical Church of the Old Prussian Union was founded.

This forced unity never had the effect desired by Friedrich Wilhelm. Indeed, what ultimately occurred was that the state began to play an even larger role in the life of the church, and for the next few generations, both the leaders of the church and the members became more and more comfortable with state authority in the church and expressions of German nationalism. One hundred years later, this close relationship bore its inevitable fruit during the First World War. Thus, the third source is found.

At the outbreak of the War to End All Wars, the German church leaders and theologians supported the war effort without qualification. Even the weapons and uniforms of the soldiers bore religious slogans. This war (from the German church perspective) was a holy war. But as the casualties mounted, (two million Germans dead, plus thousands upon thousands wounded and maimed) the German populous began to turn away from the church. When the navy mutinied and the November Revolution commenced, Germany surrendered, and virtually all of the royalty and nobility fled the country.

Out of these ruins, the Weimar Republic was born. The vast majority of the church leaders and theologians were not supporters of the new democratic republic and yearned for the return of the monarchy. This reactionary attitude of the church further alienated the church members and the populous as a whole, but as the terms and effect of the treaty of Versailles became clear, the smoldering ember of German nationalism was stoked, and the historic close relationship between the church and the state re-emerged during the ascendancy of Adolf Hitler, National Socialism and the widespread concept of the German Volk.

This fourth source, the rise of National Socialism and the concept of the Volk is the direct context of the Synod of Barmen. It should be noted that this concept of Volk goes far beyond the ordinary translation into the English people or community. It had a deeper, almost mystical quality that reflected the idea of purpose and destiny. So, when Hitler referred to the Volk, he was not merely referring to Germans as a nationality or even an ethnic group, but he reached deeper and spoke to the collective aspirations, pride and to some extent the divinely-ordained purpose of the German people.

To the National Socialists, the state was the natural expression of the Volk. This concept was also imbibed by many in the German church. Many influential church leaders were not only ill-equipped to face the rising danger of what Hitler represented, many even welcomed it!

When viewed in the historical and ecclesiastical context, it is easier to see why so many were deceived into inaction and even cooperation. The Synod of Barmen is an example of a group of church leaders who tried to stand against what they rightly perceived as a growing evil and who attempted to call believers to do the same.

To give the reader a sense of the state of the church as Hitler came to power, we will look at one representative of those who were antagonistic to the aims of Barmen. Paul Althaus was professor of theology at the University of Göttingen and a notable leader. As he observed Hitler’s rise to power in 1933, he made the following observations:
Citation:

Our Protestant churches have greeted the German turning-point of 1933 as a gift and miracle of God. … We accept the turning-point of this year as mercy from God’s hand. … A state which begins to rule again according to God’s law deserves not only applause, but also the joyous and active collaboration of the church. … The disintegration of the right to punish into social therapy and pedagogy that had already gone a long way, has come to an end; punishment must again be inflicted in earnest retaliation. The new state is again daring to wield the sword of right. It has repudiated the frightful lack of responsibility of the Parliament and showed us again what responsibility means. It has swept out the smut of corruption. It protects against the powers of destruction in literature and the theater. It calls and educates our Volk to a new community will.

With the benefit of hindsight, these words of a notable Christian leader are all the more chilling, especially when we realize that his was one of many voices.

The Nazis were quick to consolidate power not only in the state, but also in the church. Disunity could not be tolerated in either, and the Nazis used the willing collaborators in the church to impose their will.

As the “German Christians” began to impose the racial and Volkish concepts on the entire church, the beleaguered church leaders who opposed them called together a “free synod” on Dec. 22, 1933, at Barmen for January 3rd and 4th. The call went out to those who still held to the authority of the Scriptures. Three hundred and twenty ministers and elders responded, and the first of many free synods was held. It was at this synod that Karl Barth introduced the principles of what would become the classical statement of resistance to Nazi rule and policy in the German church – The Barmen Confession.

It is one of the curiosities of this period of church history that Barth would be one of the “heroes.” He, along with other theologians such as the Lutheran Martin Niemöller, who are rightly criticized for their destructive theologies, found themselves in the midst of a life and death struggle for the preservation of the church in Germany.

The nature of the struggle brought together Reformed, Lutheran and Union churches and leaders in the common goal of resisting the growing tyranny in both church and state. Over the course of the following months, the various groups began to form into a more cohesive body, which was beginning to be called the “Confessing Church.” The Confessing Church eventually held another synod at Barmen on May 29-30, 1934, at which a definitive declaration was to be made.

The declaration was the product of much discussion and some disagreement. Some of the Lutheran delegates objected to some of the language as being contrary to their Confession, and the seeds of eventual disunion were sown, but the final declaration is a strong statement repudiating the idea of the totalitarian state as an exercise in idolatry, and rejected the subordination of the word and Spirit to the church or the leaders in the church. It was, in a manner of speaking, the Declaration of Independence for the faithful and believing church in Germany.

Although the Declaration did not specifically address the persecution of the Jews, or specifically identify the Nazis with the errors cited, the declaration is nevertheless beautiful in its simplicity and also in its recognition of the heart of the issue, that Christ is the head of the church.

Men such as Althaus reviled the declaration publically and issued a contrary confession that attempted to advance the “German Christian” ideas of Volk and state. Of course history tells us which view gained the upper hand for a time. Ultimately, the Confessing Church movement in Germany fell apart, and the faithful churches in Germany suffered greatly.

It is a dangerous exercise to learn but one “lesson” from such times, for there is much that we should “never forget.” While we cherish the memory of those who stood for the faith against the claims of a messianic state, we must also soberly reflect upon how the church had all but abdicated its moral authority in Germany years before the rise of National Socialism.

OBAMA MAKES 'ALARMING CALL' TO ELIMINATE CATHOLIC AND PROTESTANT 'SCHOOLS AND BUILDINGS'

“Buildings” of course means churches. And notice he doesn’t say anything about MUSLIM ‘schools and buildings’ being a bad thing, just Christian ones. Draw your own conclusions.

Excerpted from BIZPAC REVIEW

The Catholic media is up in arms over comments President Obama made during a speech while in Northern Ireland for the G8 summit. Obama made what is described as “an alarming call for an end to Catholic education,” in spite of the fact that it is considered “a critical component of the Church.” In front of an audience of about 2,000 young people, including many Catholics, Obama claimed that Catholic education divides people and blocks peace, according to the Scottish Catholic Observer.

“If towns remain divided — if Catholics have their schools and buildings and Protestants have theirs, if we can’t see ourselves in one another and fear or resentment are allowed to harden—that too encourages division and discourages cooperation,” Obama said.

Catholic World News noted:

Ironically, President Obama made his comments just as Archbishop Gerhard Müller, the prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, told a crowd in Scotland that religious education upholds the dignity of the human person. Archbishop Müller said that Catholic schools should promote “all that is good in the philosophies of societies and human culture.”

Fr. John Zuhlsdorf quoted the Observer’s article on Fr. Z’s blog and added:

Another example of what this man wants: total isolation of any religious values in the private sphere alone. Pres. Obama is working either to intimidate or legislate or even TAX religious freedom out of the public square.

Off the top of my head, I can’t think of a foreign visit to a Islamic nation where he told people on his arrival that they shouldn’t have madrasas. Can you?

Did he when visiting, say, Israel, say “You Jews shouldn’t have synagogue schools and you muslims shouldn’t have mosque schools.” I can’t remember. Did he?

Each of the articles drew numerous public comments, most suggesting that Obama be more concerned about the public schools in the United States than their parochial schools, which are working just fine.

v.

Martin J. Mawyer; Patti A. Pierucci and
Christian Action Network
CHRISTIAN ACTION  Defendants

PRELIMINARY STATEMENT

This is an action against Martin J. Mawyer, Christian Action Network, and Patti A. Pierucci defendants, for the malicious, repetitious, and continuous, pronouncements and publication of defamatory statements against Plaintiff. The provocative and defamatory statements were included in the book: Twilight in America~ the Untold Story of Islamic Terrorist Training Camps in America, authored by Martin J. Mawyer and Patti Pierucci, (October 2012), uttered by Mawyer on various media outlets including Fox News (October 2012) and posted on CAN’s website www.christianaction.org at various dates and times.

Plaintiff has sustained substantial, incalculable and irreparable harm, contempt, and ridicule to reputation, resulting from the unrelenting false and negative spotlight projected on them by defendants. Defendants’ defamatory statements have served to cause fear and hatred to flourish against Plaintiff while inciting violence and putting the lives of Plaintiffs members in danger for the purpose of monetary enrichment. Plaintiff seeks injunctive relief preventing further publication and sale of Twilight, retraction of all defamatory statements regarding Plaintiff on CAN’s official website, and Attorney’s fees and cost.

STATEMENT OF FACTS

Plaintiff and its congregation are the victims of relentless and pernicious defamation by defendants through the use of the CAN website and the publication of Twilight.

Prior to its official formation, Plaintiff was a Muslim congregation situated within the heart of inner city communities and exposed to all of their horrors and devastating effects. In an attempt to remove and protect itself from the immoral effect and pitfalls of this worsening environment, Plaintiff invested in 60 acres of rural property in Hancock, New York for the purpose of providing a safe haven for American Muslims to raise families while establishing a peaceful community free from harmful elements such as those occurring in the inner cities in the 19805.

Plaintiff’s members currently live throughout North America including in twelve rural communities located in Georgia, Michigan, New York, South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Texas, Canada, and Trinidad. 14. Plaintiffs owns two parcels of land in New York.

At all-time herein Plaintiff has counseled and encouraged its members and residents of its villages to abide by the laws of the United States and avoid criminal, immoral, and anti-social behavior. Members of the plaintiffs congregation are well educated and successful. Among the community there are lawyers, physicians, engineers, nurse practitioners, educators, tradesmen, farmers and business people.

All locations hold regular events which are opened to the public. The events include workshops, seminars, children’s activities and interfaith outreach. One of the most widely attended events takes place annually and celebrates the commonality between Muslims and Christians. MOA has launched an initiative called the United Muslim Christian Forum.

VIDEO :

Defendants Mawyer and CAN have devoted the past decade to waging excessive divisive and intolerable attacks against Plaintiff. These nefarious, malicious, and systematic attacks perpetrated against Plaintiff were supported through the use of media, including documentaries, books, and the internet. Upon information and belief since the early 2000s, Defendants have systemically engaged in a series of harassing behaviors toward the plaintiff including but not limited to:
Citation:

a.) During November of 2006, Mawyer unsuccessfully launched a hostile and inflamed protest against the naming of the private road leading onto property where members of MOA lived in Red House, VA.
b.) During this same period defendants Mawyer and CAN arranged for bundles of 2,500 leaflets titled “Get Rid of Sheikh Gilani lane” to be dropped from a low flying airplane onto the Red House, Virginia property of one of Plaintiffs members.
The materials were produced by CAN. It did so without regard for the safety of the children who were playing in their yards. Mawyer further claimed in a press release that ” …any group thatwill dare drop 2,500 fliers over a terrorist compound is not backing down anytime soon.

VIDEO :

Defendants escalated its conduct and by 2009 Mawyer released the so-called documentary, Homegrown Jihad: Terrorist camps Around U.S. This publication signaled a surge in focus by Mawyer and CAN who continued their attack against Islam in the United States and against Plaintiff in particular. The basis of Defendants Mawyer and CAN’s attacks against Plaintiff center on their bold, public and false campaign alleging that plaintiff is a murdering, thieving terror organization and runs terror training camps.

VIDEO :

To date, Defendant Mawyer has appeared on The O’Reilly Factor, Hannity, Larry King Live, Pat Robertson’s 700 Club, NBC’s Today Show, Entertainment Tonight and Fox and Friends where he continues spreading various sensational, erroneous theories and presents them as fact.

Twilight is a 293-page book authored by Mawyer and co-authored by Pierucci. Twilight’s cover page is a picture containing a backdrop of a cloudy sky with Arabic wording at the top of the page and an eerie splattering of blood across the Arabic. Superimposed in oversized font is the title “Twilight in America” with subtitle in traditional font: ”The Untold Story of Islamic Terrorist Training camps Inside America”. The names of the authors hang over a sliver of the American flag. Please see annexed hereto “Exhibit A.” The deliberate use of the phrase “terrorist training camps in America” in the sub-title of Twilight and on its cover is a calculating reference to property owned by plaintiffs.

VIDEO : (DELETE)

The defendants repeatedly accuse the plaintiffs of being “home grown” terrorists or engaging in acts of terrorist. Terror activities are violations of New York State law and the federal code.

New York State Anti-Terrorism Act of 2001 Article 490 § 490.25 states that a person is guilty of a crime of terrorism when with intent to intimidate or coerce a civilian population, influence the potency of a unit of government by intimidation or coercion, or affect the conduct of a unit of government by murder, assassination or kidnapping, he or she commits a specified offense.

That 18 USC §2331 defines domestic terrorism as activities that (A)involve acts dangerous to human life; that are a violation of the criminal laws of the United States or of any State; (B)appear to be intended: (i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population; {ii)to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; (Hi)or to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping; and (C)occur primarily within the territorial jurisdiction of the United States.

VIDEO :

Through the cunning use of semantics, Defendants proliferate Twilight with abundant defamatory inferences in the form of “protected opinion”. However, the plaintiff has identified the following comments as exemplars of the publications plaintiff finds actionable:

“Also maddening is the fact that Al Fuqra/MOA had been listed on the StateDepartment’s list of terrorist groups but was removed in the year 2000 after what appeared to be a period of inactivity.” Twilight pg. 230. Please see annexed hereto “Exhibit C”. Plaintiff was never listed on the State Departments list of terrorist groups.

“In the privacy of Muslim compounds across our land they are preparing our own citizens to wage a holy war – jihad – against America. As many state and federal authorities turn a blind eye, these Islamic extremists convert our own citizens, then teach them how to kill.” This entire statement is false and defamatory.

VIDEO :

“The women suffer a dismal fate, enslaved to their men forced into polygamous marriages, forced to have as many children as possible, sometimes beaten and raped, all under the banner of religious submission to Islam and the stifling rules of MOA that women must endure.” This entire statement is false and defamatory. In fact, women are treated with honor and respect. The women are well educated and intelligent leaders in their community. The men are not rapists and the women are not raped.

“[Gilani] has created an independent army of jihadists who have been killing their own countrymen for decades.” This statement is false and defamatory. No such “independent army of jihadists” exists and no such thing has ever occurred.

That Defendants stated as fact regarding York County, South Carolina, ….. [That] a 36 acre MOA compound is located, which hosted an array of notorious characters in the jihadist world.” Twilight, pg.236. Please see annexed hereto “Exhibit G”.  This entire allegation is defamatory and false.

VIDEO :

“My book details the nearly 30-year history of MOA in America with its crimes, its acts of terrorism and its bold claim to establish Islamic guerilla warfare training camps across the country.” Emphasis added. Article from Martin Mawyer published on CAN website. MOA does not have and has never established Islamic guerrilla warfare training camps across the country.

“The U.S. State Department has sounded the alarm about this group for years, calling MOA an Islamic group that wants to “purify Islam through violence.” Please see annexed hereto “Exhibit I”. On information and belief, there has been no such proclamation by the U.S. State Department. Defendants attempt to link the Imam of MOA to Daniel Pearl, though the Imam was exonerated of any connection.

Defendants attempt to draw a connection between the notorious so-called DC beltway sniper and the plaintiff. “But to really understand why [DC shooter] recruited the young and impressionable Malvo and then went on his murderous rampage, it’s important to explore his earlier life and, most of all, why he walked into the welcoming arms of the Muslims of the Americas:’ See Twilight pg.84 annexed hereto as “Exhibit J”.  There is no connection whatsoever to this criminal and his actions.

VIDEO :

Defendants repeatedly refer to plaintiff as a terrorist organization engaging in terrorist acts and running terrorist training camps in the United States. Defendants bolster their claims through the use of intentionally misleading documents and sources in order to deceive and mislead the public about Plaintiff. In committing the acts herein alleged, the defendants acted willfully, with malice in conscious disregard for the truth or falsity of the above statements. In committing the acts herein alleged, the defendants acted willfully with malice.

In the same above post Mawyer misinforms the American public by daring them to visit Plaintiffs property by stating: “There will be doubters of course. People who will not believe the Town of Islamberg actually exists. And they’ll have to go see it for themselves. The address is above for those doubters. Just remember, you doubters, whoever you are: You were warned. Stay away.”

That the above mentioned Islamberg is property belonging to Plaintiff that is home to approximately thirty families consisting of innocent men, women, and children.

VIDEO : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07BhhHe5Rz4#at=67

By publishing the statements, Defendant intended to provoke the public to fear, paranoia, hatred, and anger, while simultaneously encouraging vigilantism and violence against Plaintiff and putting the safety, wellbeing, and life of every single member of MOA in imminent danger. Families are afraid to allow their children to play in their yards. Women are afraid to travel for fear of being attacked by a deranged zealot or his sympathizers.

The statements, individually and taken as a whole in context of the writings in which they appear, are defamatory per se because they falsely impute to Plaintiff, the commission of criminal offenses, in a manner ruinous to the reputation of plaintiff, locally, nationally and internationally.

SYRIA: CHRISTIAN TOWNS ARE BEING EMPTIED BY ISLAMIST SAVAGERY

08/02/2013 ICA

Revelation 13:15, “And it was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast might even speak and might cause those who would not worship the image of the beast to be slain.”

In the reprobate minds and hardened hearts of these Islamists, the “Word of Allah” is speaking loud and clear …

Qur’an Sura 48:29a, “Mohammed is [Allah's] apostle. Those who follow him are ruthless to the unbelievers [non-Muslims] …”

Qur’an Sura 9:14, “Fight them, Allah will punish them by your hands and bring them to disgrace …”

Qur’an Sura 8:12b, “… terrorize and behead those who believe in scriptures other than the Qur’an.”

By Ruth Sherlock, The Telegraph – “Tens of thousands Syriac Christians – members of the oldest Christian community in the world – have fled their ancestral provinces of Deir al-Zour and Hasakah in northeastern Syria, residents have said.

‘It breaks my heart to think how our long history is being uprooted,’ said Ishow Goriye, the head of a Syriac Christian political Hasakah.

Mr Goriye, told The Daily Telegraph how, over the past two years he has watched as Christian families from Hasakah pack their possessions on the rooftops of their vehicles and flee their homes ‘with little plan to come back’.

Conflict in the area, desperate economic conditions, lawlessness, and persecution by rebel groups born from the perception that Christians support the regime, remain the main reasons for why Christian families are fleeing the area.

The growing presence of radical jihadist groups, including al-Qaeda, has also seen Christians targeted.

‘It began as kidnapping for money, but then they started telling me I should worship Allah,’ a male Christian resident of Hasakah who was kidnapped by jihadists said.

‘I was with five others. We were tied and blindfolded and pushed down on our knees. One of the kidnappers leant so close to my face I could feel his breath. He hissed: ‘Why don’t you become a Muslim? Then you can be free’.’

Another Christian in Hasakah said he knew of ‘five forced conversions’ in recent weeks.

Mr Goriye’s Christian ‘Syriac Union’ party has long been in opposition to President Bashar al-Assad’s regime.

While speaking to The Telegraph, its members were loath to criticise the opposition rebels, but many confessed that the situation had become ‘too bad’ not to talk about it.” Read more.

ERDOGAN’S  CRISIS WITH PREGNANT WOMEN : ISLAMIST LAWYER SAYS ‘SHAMEFUL FOR PREGNANT WOMEN TO GO OUT ON THE STREETS.’

August 3, 2013

It is no wonder that Turkish soap operas — depicting a range of issues from equality between the sexes and the empowerment of women, to liberal lifestyles and contemporary forms of leisure — are so popular in the Middle East, where millions are clamoring for more equality and modernity in their lives.

Women attend Friday prayers during Ramadan at the courtyard of Sultan Ahmet Mosque, also known as the Blue Mosque, in Istanbul, July 12, 2013. (photo by REUTERS/Murad Sezer)

But true life experiences and debates are much more relevant for the region than mere products of fiction, and Turkey certainly has no shortage of these, as the latest heated debate concerning the “morality of pregnancy” — which has been raging for days — clearly demonstrates.

It all began when Omer Tugrul Inancer, an Islamist lawyer and commentator on religion, asserted on the state-owned television network TRT that it was shameful for pregnant women to go out on the streets. He was speaking during a special Ramadan talk show broadcast just before iftar on July 26.

VIDEO : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQm49ut4Gh4

“Declaring your pregnancy with drums is against our understanding of decency. You cannot walk on the streets with such bellies. To get a bit of fresh air, a woman in the seventh or eighth month of her pregnancy can go around a little in her husband’s car in the late afternoon,” Inancer, who is also known to Islamic circles as an expert on Sufi mysticism, said. He went on to add that despite this, pregnant women of all shades are to be seen everywhere in Turkey nowadays, including on television, and added, “This is shameful, shameful! This is not realism, this is vulgarity.”

The outcry following Inancer’s remarks was instant with women from all walks of life protesting him. Protesters included pregnant women and their husbands as well as women and men feigning pregnancy and prominently displaying distended bellies. Most of the demonstrators saw Inancer’s remarks as more evidence of creeping Islamism in Turkey under Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP).

Government circles and AKP supporters insist, of course, that Inancer’s remarks have nothing to do with them. Given the way Turkey has become divided along secularist and Islamist lines under the AKP, however, it seems almost inevitable that the finger of blame should be pointing at the government.

Inancer poured more fuel on the debate later, when he not only stood by his remarks, but added that the ugly sight of pregnant women was putting young girls off the idea of pregnancy. Not surprisingly, the topic went instantly viral on Twitter under #direnhamile (meaning “pregnant women resist”). This was clearly inspired by “#direngezi” (meaning “Gezi resist”), the battle cry for the recent Gezi Park protests. One highly popular Twitter post read “Down with pregnant women, long live storks!”

While the topic became the No. 1 social issue in Turkey overnight, it was clear that women on the Islamist side of the fence were not too pleased over Inancer’s remarks either. Ozlem Zengin Topal, a lawyer and the head of the AKP’s women organization in Istanbul, for example, said she also found Inancer’s remarks disturbing. “Of course pregnant women can go on the streets. It is their natural right,” she said.

But trying to deflect some of the anger away from Inancer — who is highly respected among Islamists — Topal nevertheless felt the need to add that she did not think the debate he had started was about pregnancy itself, but the manner in which some pregnant women dress.

“There are times when I, too, look around with surprise, and I wonder if it should be this way. Of course, everyone is free to dress as they like. But a person who says it should not be like this, should not be the object of intense attacks,” Topal said during aniftar dinner in Istanbul, adding that both sides in this debate were justified in their own way.

There were other female AKP supporters who were angered by Inancer’s words, but they were also equally angered over the manner secularists had, in their opinion, jumped on this latest bandwagon to lash out at the Erdogan government. Nihal Bengisu Karaca, a popular columnist for daily Haberturk, for example, wrote that she was “shocked” on hearing Inancer’s words.

“If you try to make candidates for motherhood, at whose feet you spread heaven, loose attitude shows you are not too worried about how women approach Islam, or if they cool toward it,” Karaca said, employing a literary, but strikingly hard-hitting tone for a devout woman.

She nevertheless also had harsh words for those who “attach the end of the pipe that discharges their hatred to the prime minister’s door.” Pointing at columnists who she claimed promote “Sex and the City-type lifestyles” — a reference to the popular and “risqué” US soap — she added the following:

“In every part of this country, every day, there are those who speak out on religion, modernity, being contemporary and the need to behave this or that way. Is it not just unfair, but the height of insincerity to pin everything said on the government and claim it is part of its ‘secret agenda?’”

Women on the secularist side, however, were much more merciless in their castigation of Inancer, while pointing an accusing finger at the AKP directly or indirectly.

“What is it you don’t find aesthetic (in pregnant women)? Is it that they are bloated? Are you fond of thin and elegant women, God forbid me for saying? When you see a woman on the street do your eyes slide toward her belly? How shameful,” Ayse Aral, one of daily Hurriyet’s popular female columnists wrote in response to Inancer.

In her article titled Sit Down You Ugly Pregnant Woman, Aral went on to characterize that women swell up during pregnancy as “an act of God,” and asked Inancer, “What kind of a Turkish mystic thinker are you?” The reference was of course to his expert knowledge about “Sufism,” a tradition within Islam that promotes humanism based on the idea of love for all creations of the creator.

Daily Vatan writer Ruhat Mengi, a remorseless critic of Erdogan and the AKP, was equally angry in her column titled Their Latest Trick: Hide Your Pregnant Women. Her use of the possessive pronoun was clearly aimed at Islamists who support the Erdogan government. Mengi was particularly angered by Inancer’s claim that pregnant women scared and discouraged young girls from pregnancy,

If Inancer is so interested in the welfare of young girls, she argued, then he should also talk about the rape of young girls in and outside their homes by their own fathers and uncles, as well as incidents of mass rape around the country and other similar occurrences reported daily which, she said, reminds one of the Stone Age.

This is not a unique debate for Turkey, of course, but it shows once again how the lines have been drawn among fundamentally different social groups, even if they are all Turkish. Similar topics that have already surfaced during the AKP government’s term in office — and caused angry public exchanges — include the question of how many children women should have. Erdogan repeatedly calls on them to have at least three.

Other such topics heatedly debated by Turks recently — and which are generally not touched on in the Islamic world — were abortion, cesarean section and even homosexuality, which a former AKP state minister in charge of family affairs, Aliye Kavaf, declared in 2010 to be a “biological deformity and a disease.”

TURKEY – ‘Homosexuality is a disease’ says Turkish minister

But then Turkey’s uniqueness as a predominantly Islamic, but not Islamist, country perhaps lies in that it can have such public debates on such sensitive social issues, some of which are also heatedly debated in the West today.

6 tonnes d’explosifs contre Mennegh

EU PARLIAMENTARIAN CALLS FOR ‘INTIFADA’

Irish EU rep faces criticism after suggesting that PA Arabs “rise up” against Israel.

An Irish politician has caused outrage by urging Arabs to “rise up” against Israel in another “Intifada.”

European Union parliamentarian Paul Murphy said he does not believe that Israel is serious about the newly renewed diplomatic talks with the PA, and that what the PA needs is “a mass struggle from below.”

“There are many positive examples from the first intifada of mass protests, strikes and marches and checkpoints that I think would be ideal tactics to redevelop now,” he explained in an interview with Russia Today.

In the days since his comments, a number of MEPs (Members of European Parliament) have come out strongly against his comments.

Fellow Irish  MEP Sean Kelly said, "In a region already beset by conflict, it is abhorrent to call for violence as a tool to achieve collective goals."

The first “Intifada” wave of attacks on Israel included stone-throwing attacks, firebombings and other murderous attacks targeting Israeli Jewish civilians. However, the primary victims of Arab violence were Arabs, nearly 1,000 of whom were murdered as terrorist groups fought for power.

The second “Intifada” caused yet more Israeli civilian deaths as terrorists carried out a relentless wave of suicide bombings, shootings and other attacks targeting Israeli citizens of all ages.

The Zionist Federation condemned Murphy’s remarks. Chairman Paul Charney said, ““Mr Murphy’s remarks glorifying the Intifada and justifying it as an alternative to peace talks is disgraceful and highly irresponsible.

“It dangerously incites the masses to violence, at a time in the Middle East where war and terror is all too common. I call on the Irish Socialist Party to deal swiftly with this issue by publicly confirming that they support peace and further condemn Mr Murphy by stating that his comments are unacceptable”.

However, Murphy defended his call for an “Intifada” against claims that he was promoting violence – and accused his critics of ignorance.

“The MEPs who have condemned my call for a mass movement along the lines of the first intifada as a call for violence and terror are either deliberately misconstruing my words or are entirely ignorant about the history of the Palestinian struggle," he said in a press statement. "Intifada is simply the Arabic word for 'uprising', something that is entirely justified and clearly necessary when you look at the ongoing oppression."

The PA should not use terrorism, he said – because it does not work. “I have a history of opposing the futile and counter-productive tactics of terror,” he explained.

At the same time, Murphy clarified that the Intifada he proposes would involve armed fighting. He told Al Jazeera that he thinks PA Arabs have the right to “armed defense against soldiers” to counter what he termed Israeli state violence.

YOU CAN'T PREACH THE BIBLE HERE, THIS IS A MUSLIM AREA

(What a community policeman told two Christians)

By Steve Doughty and Andy Dolan
Last updated at 7:04 PM on 02nd June 2008

Readings from the Koran: Naeem Naguthney

Two Christian preachers were stopped from handing out Bible extracts by police because they were in a Muslim area, it was claimed yesterday.

They say they were told by a Muslim police community support officer that they could not preach there and that attempting to convert Muslims to Christianity was a hate crime.

The community officer is also said to have told the two men: 'You have been warned. If you come back here and get beat up, well, you have been warned.'

A police constable who was present during the incident in the Alum Rock area of Birmingham is also alleged to have told the preachers not to return to the district.

It comes amid growing concern over the development of Islamic 'no-go areas'.

The preachers, Americans Arthur Cunningham and Joseph Abraham, are demanding an apology and compensation from West Midlands Police.

They say their treatment breaks the Human Rights Act, which guarantees freedom of religious expression.

The preachers, who have the backing of the Christian Institute pressure group, say they will take the force to court for breaching their human rights if they don't receive an apology.

They have accused the officer, PCSO Naeem Naguthney, of behaving in an 'aggressive and threatening' manner. A complaint by their lawyers said he interrupted as they spoke to Muslim youths about their beliefs.

Mr Abraham, 65, who was born a Muslim in Egypt and is a convert to Christianity, said: 'He told us we were trying to convert Muslims to Christianity and that that was a hate crime.

'He was very intimidating and it concerns me that somebody holding his views can become a police officer, albeit at PCSO level.'

Mr Cunningham, 48, a fellow American Baptist missionary, said: 'He realised we were Americans and then started ranting at us about George Bush and American foreign policy.
'He said we were in a Muslim area and were not allowed to spread our Christian message. He said he was going to take us to the police station.'

Mr Cunningham added: 'I am dumfounded that the police seem so nonchalant. They seem content not to make it clear that what we were doing was perfectly legal. This is a free country and to suggest we were guilty of a hate crime for spreading God's word is outrageous.'

Outraged: Arthur Cunningham

Seeking an apology: Joesph Abraham

According to a complaint by the men's lawyers, Mr Naguthney summoned two other officers in support, one of whom, a full constable, is said to have told the men not to return to the area.

Mr Naguthney, 30, was recruited as a community support officer last year after being unemployed for eight months.

Earlier this year, he had a prominent role at a conference to launch the West Midlands branch of the National Association of Muslim Police. He gave a reading from the Koran before the audience heard a recorded contribution from Gordon Brown, a speech from Home Office Minister Tony McNulty, and contributions from several chief constables.
Mr Naguthney declined to discuss the row.

His brother, Nadeem, said: 'Naeem is a community man, that is why he joined the police.'

The Alum Rock area was at the heart of a terrorism inquiry last year, which ended with the conviction of local resident Parviz Khan for plotting to kidnap and behead a British soldier.

A senior Church of England bishop, the Right Reverend Michael Nazir-Ali, warned recently that it is hard for non-Muslims to live and work in some areas where radicals and clerics are trying to impose an Islamic character.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said an investigation into the complaint had concluded that the PCSO had acted 'with the best of intentions' when he 'intervened to diffuse a heated argument between two groups of men'.

A statement added: 'Following this investigation, the PCSO has been offered guidance about what constitutes a hate crime and advice on communication style.'

JIHADIST LEADER TO U.S. : 'ISLAM IS COMING'

Warns foreign fighting in Syria could battle America next

Published: 22 hours ago

During a radio interview Sunday, a representative of al-Qaida in the Gaza Strip sent a message to the United States: “Islam is coming and there is no other choice.”

That sentiment was expressed by Abu Saqer, leader of Jihadiya Salafiya in the Gaza Strip, speaking on “Aaron Klein Investigative Radio” on New York’s WABC Radio.

Jihadiya Salafiya represents al-Qaida in the Gaza Strip.

Saqer further stated that after battling Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, the thousands of foreign  jihadists currently in Syria could turn their ire on what he called the many other “enemies of Islam,” including Israel and the United States.

Saqer did not say the spread of Islam in the U.S. will come through violence.

“Islam is coming and there is no other choice,” he told Klein about America and Europe.

“Because we think Islam will come and this is something that no one can prevent,” he stated.

“And we will raise the Islamic flag on every point on earth where Muslims live and we will chase all the enemies of Islam wherever they are. Even in the West, in Europe and in the United States.”

Asked where he thinks the thousands of foreign jihadists fighting Assad will go next, Saqer replied, “After finishing with him, there are many enemies for Islam.”

He continued: “At the head the Zionist enemy and the United States. And the evolution on the ground in Syria will define where is the next target and who is the next target of the Mujahadeen.”

“This can be the Israeli enemy. This can be the United States or anybody who is making a conspiracy with them against Islam.”

At least 6,000 jihadist rebels in Syria, many affiliated with al-Qaida, now pose a major security risk to the U.S. and Europe, according to Obama administration officials and Mideast experts.

Last Tuesday, Michael Morell, the Central Intelligence Agency’s second-in-command, warned in an interview with the Wall Street Journal that al-Qaida groups in Syria, along with the civil war itself, pose the greatest threat to U.S. national security.

The Wall Street Journal reported Morell said there are now more foreigners flowing into Syria each month to fight with al-Qaida-affiliated groups than there were going to Iraq to fight with al-Qaida at the height of the war there.

Meanwhile, according to UPI, Matthew G. Olsen, director of the National Counterterrorism Center, stated Syria “has become really the predominant jihadist battlefield in the world.”

“The concern going forward from a threat perspective is there are individuals traveling to Syria, becoming further radicalized, becoming trained and then returning as part of really a global jihadist movement to Western Europe and, potentially, to the United States,” said Olsen at a security conference in Aspen, Colo., this month.

(Click below to hear Part 1 of Aaron Klein’s interview on WABC Radio with Abu Saqer:)

(Click below to hear Part w of Aaron Klein’s interview on WABC Radio with Abu Saqer:)

Gilles de Kerchove, the European Union’s counterterrorism coordinator, told the same conference, “The scale of this is completely different from what we’ve experienced in the past.”

De Kerchove spoke of jihadists flocking to Syria from Europe. He described the European jihadist travelers as self-radicalized and traveling on their own initiative.

He said the militants now pose a threat to their home countries if they attempt to return home, and he warned that European governments lack the capabilities to monitor all of them.

U.S. News & World Report further reported on at least 6,000 foreign jihadists from 50 nations, including fighters from Australia, France, Britain and the U.S.

“Australians now make up the largest contingent from any developed nation in the Syrian rebel forces,” the newspaper reported. “There are around 120 French fighters in Syria, about 100 Britons and a handful of Americans.”

There is a history of foreign fighters returning home to carry out terrorist attacks, such as the 1996 bombing of Khobar Towers in Saudi Arabia, in which 19 U.S. servicemen were killed.

NEW WORLD ORDER: RELIGIOUS RESTRICTIONS ON RISE, POST-ARAB SPRING

Claire McCartney
July 15, 2013

Governmental restrictions on religious freedoms and social hostilities related to religious differences have increased globally since the Arab Spring, according to a recent Pew Research Center study. Despite hope expressed by people all over the world that the revolutionary political movement would bring increased personal freedom and regional peace, the Pew Center reports that this has not been the case.

Before Arab Spring protests swept the Middle East and North Africa in 2010, religious freedom restrictions and social hostilities were already higher in those regions than any other in the world, and they remained high throughout 2011.

According to Pew, in 2011 the percentage of countries with high or very high restrictions on religion rose from 37 percent to 40 percent, a five-year high. Governmental restrictions on religion include efforts to ban particular faiths, limit conversions, and giving preferential treatment to specific religious groups over others.

Social hostilities, which include religion-related terrorism, harassment and sectarian violence, also increased between 2010 and 2011. Countries experiencing such hostilities doubled from five to ten.

Two countries reached five-year, worldwide highs in either governmental restrictions or social hostilities – Egypt and Pakistan. The report also listed China, Syria, Bahrain and Myanmar, among other countries, as having unusually high levels of religious restriction and social hostility.

5.1 billion people — 74 percent of the world’s population — were found to be living in countries with high religious restrictions and high levels of social hostilities involving religion. Many of the countries with the highest levels of restrictions and hostilities are also the most populous.

This is the fourth Pew report conducted on global religious restrictions and hostilities. The study used the same two indices as previous reports to score 198 countries and territories.

PALESTINIAN AUTHORITY DENIES JEWISH RIGHT TO WESTERN WALL

Claim is the latest example in a string of anti-Israel propaganda, as "peace talks" set to begin.

PA Presidential Guards deny Jewish right to Western Wall
Arutz Sheva

In what is being described as yet another example of Palestinian Authority (PA) denial of the Jewish connection to Jerusalem and the very legitimacy of the State of Israel, the Presidential Guard of Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas has claimed the Western Wall as an Arab and Islamic site.

Last week, a picture of the Western Wall was posted onto the PA Presidential Guard's official Facebook page with a PA flag superimposed on it, along with the words "The Al Buraq Wall - Public Relations and Information - The Presidential Guard - Palestinian youth know their rights."

The Western Wall is a relic of the retaining wall of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem, which was destroyed by Imperial Roman in 70CE. For nearly 2,000 years Jews were prevented from worshipping on the Temple Mount, Judaism's holiest site, and instead prayed at the wall, which has since become a holy site in its own right, at which millions of Jews congregate to pray each year. Ongoing restrictions on Jewish prayer on the Temple Mount mean that the Wall is still the primary place of Jewish worship in Jerusalem.

"Al Buraq" is the name given to the Western Wall by Arab rejectionists, who deny the Jewish connection to Jerusalem.

They claim that the wall has nothing to do with the Jewish Temples, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary; instead, they assert that it is the place where Muhammed tethered his mythical winged horse Buraq hundreds of years later, when according to some Islamic legends it transported him from Mecca to Jerusalem and back - despite the fact that Jerusalem is never mentioned in the Quran.

Palestinian Media Watch, an NGO which monitors incitement, anti-Semitism and anti-Israel propaganda on Palestinian Arab TV, noted that this is only the latest example of PA rejectionism and denial of the Jewish people's claim to Jerusalem and the Land of Israel, as a way of rejecting the State of Israel's very legitimacy and right to exist.

Despite the start of much-lauded "peace talks" between Israel and the PA, Arutz Sheva has reported on the continued campaign of anti-Israel and anti-Semitic propaganda and incitement to violence by the PA through its official organs.

For example, last week the PA's official TV station broadcast a crudely anti-Semitic program which legitimized violence against Jews in Judea and Samaria, who were stereotyped as violent thieves. The end of the program glorified the humiliation of a religious Jew by cutting off his peyot side-curls, in a scene chillingly reminiscent of Nazi anti-Jewish propaganda.

Other Ramadan broadcasts include a re-run of a music video encouraging violence against Israelis, and the glorification of the murderer of 61 Israeli civilians on the official Facebook page of Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah party.

Recently, an anchor on the PA's official news station declared that a future "Palestinian state" would extend from Rosh Hanikra in northern Israel to Eilat in the south - effectively wiping Israel off the map.

These incidents and others led to Israeli PM Binyamin Netanyahu complaining directly to US Secretary of State John Kerry, who has been pushing the Israeli government to enter into talks with the PA.

Kashfi and Jalaudin, two Christian brothers, were sentenced to three years in prison on Aug. 2, 2013, after being convicted of "evangelizing Muslims," Voice of the Martyrs reports. On March 20, 2013, their home was attacked by an angry mob of about 200 Muslims. Police stopped the attack on their home and then arrested the two brothers. The brothers were convicted despite their lawyers' insistence in court that the trial violated their human rights. Five other families associated with the brothers' ministry were forced to leave the area for their own safety. Release International has provided support to help these families resettle elsewhere. Kashfi and Jalaudin, along with others in their team, have led more than 100 Muslims to Christ. They plan to appeal their conviction.

ROGER WATERS CALLS ON MUSICIANS TO BOYCOTT ISRAEL

Long-expected letter from Pink Floyd front man to the ‘family of Rock and Roll’ blasts Israel for ‘apartheid’ and ‘ethnic cleansing’

Related Topics British rocker Roger Waters has published an open letter calling on fellow musicians to join a boycott of Israel.

The letter, which condemns Israel for apartheid and ethnic cleansing, has been expected for several months, according to the Electronic Intifada, which first reported on its existence.

I write to you now, my brothers and sisters in the family of Rock and Roll, to ask you to join with me, and thousands of other artists around the world, to declare a cultural boycott on Israel,” Waters wrote in the letter dated Aug. 18. The letter was drafted in July.

The former Pink Floyd front man said he was inspired to release the letter after British violinist Nigel Kennedy called Israel an apartheid state at a recent promenade concert at the Albert Hall in London. The BBC said it would remove his remarks in rebroadcasts of the concert.

Waters had told Electronic Intifada in March that he was drafting the letter.

Waters, who has been active in the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions, or BDS, movement for at least seven years, referred to the boycott of apartheid South Africa, saying that first a trickle of artists refused to play there, leading to a “flood.”

He singled out Stevie Wonder’s canceling of a performance for the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces as a recent success story. Wonder quit his participation in the December fundraiser at the last minute under pressure from many corners.

“Please join me and all our brothers and sisters in global civil society in proclaiming our rejection of Apartheid in Israel and occupied Palestine, by pledging not to perform or exhibit in Israel or accept any award or funding from any institution linked to the government of Israel, until such time as Israel complies with international law and universal principles of human rights,” Waters wrote.

Waters recently came under fire for using in his concerts a huge inflated balloon in the shape of a wild boar with a prominently visible Star of David, as well as a hammer and sickle, crosses and a dollar sign, among other symbols. It is a gimmick he has used for several years.

EGYTIAN CHRISTIANS CONDEMN MEDIA’S SILENCE AS MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD HOLDS NUNS AS POW’S

Posted by: Kevin Lake Posted date: August 19, 2013 In: News

Muslim Brotherhood in Northern Egypt parade nuns as POW’s.

“Supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood stormed the Franciscan School in Beni Suef, detained three nuns from the school and then paraded them on the streets like prisoners of war,” the Cairo Center for Development and Human Rights said in a statement issued on Monday.

The statement added that two other women working in the school were subjected to sexual violence while confronting the raging assailants who also looted and torched the school.

At least 40 churches were attacked, torched and looted in the four days following the security crackdown on the two Cairo protest camps for Islamist supporters of deposed President Mohamed Mursi.

Homes and shops that belong to Egypt’s Christian minority were also attacked and looted, in a significant rise of sectarian violence.

Christian leaders in Egypt have placed much of the blame of a lack of knowledge of Christian struggles in Egypt on Western media outlets, accusing them of sensationalizing all things Muslim. Egypt’s Orthodox Coptic Church issued a release recently excoriating the western press for giving “political cover” to “terrorist and bloody groups.”

The Muslim Brotherhood denies targeting Christians in Egypt.

NM COURT SAYS CHRISTIAN PHOTOGRAPHERS MUST COMPROMISE BELIEFS

Posted in Top Stories

Aug 22, 2013

The New Mexico Supreme Court ruled Thursday that two Christian photographers who declined to photograph a same-sex union violated the state’s Human Rights Act. One justice said the photographers were “compelled by law to compromise the very religious beliefs that inspire their lives.”

In 2006 Vanessa Willock asked Elaine and Jonathan Huguenin, owners of Elane Photography, to photograph a same-sex “commitment ceremony” in the town of Taos.

Huguenin and her husband declined the job because their Christian beliefs were in conflict with the message communicated by the ceremony.

Willock found another photographer at a cheaper price but nevertheless filed a complaint with the New Mexico Human Rights Commission accusing Elane Photography of discrimination based on sexual orientation. She was later found guilty and ordered to pay thousands of dollars in fines.

“The Huguenins today can no more turn away customers on the basis of their sexual orientation – photographing a same-sex marriage ceremony – than they could refuse to photograph African-Americans or Muslims,” Justice Richard Bosson wrote in the court’s unanimous decision.

Bosson said the Christian photographers are now “compelled by law to compromise the very religious beliefs that inspire their lives.”

“Though the rule of law requires it, the result is sobering,” he wrote. “It will no doubt leave a tangible mark on the Huguenins and others of similar views.”

A recent Rasmussen survey found that 85 percent of Americans support the right of a photographer to refuse participating in a same-sex wedding.

Bosson said the case provokes reflection on what the nation is about.

“At its heart, this case teaches that at some point in our lives all of us must compromise, if only a little, to accommodate the contrasting values of others,” he wrote.

He said the Constitution protects the rights of the Christian photographers to pray to the God of their choice and following religious teachings, but offered a sobering warning.

“But there is a price, one that we all have to pay somewhere in our civic life,” the justice wrote. “The Huguenins have to channel their conduct, not their beliefs, so as to leave space for other Americans who believe something different. That compromise is part of the glue that holds us together as a nation, the tolerance that lubricates the varied moving parts of us as a people.”

Alliance Defending Freedom, a legal firm specializing in religious liberty cases, representing the photographers. Attorney Jordan Lorence said the ruling in effect means gay rights now trump religious rights.

“Government-coerced expression is a feature of dictatorships that has no place in a free country,” Lorence said. “This decision is a blow to our client and every American’s right to live free.”

Lorence said the New Mexico Supreme Court undermined the constitutionally protected freedoms of expression and conscience.

“If Elane Photographer does not have her rights of conscience protected, then basically nobody does,” he told Fox News. “What you have here is the government punishing someone who says, ‘I, in good conscience, cannot communicate the messages of this wedding.’”

Amber Royster, the executive director of Equality New Mexico, called the court decision a big victory.

“What it came down to is this was a case about discrimination,” she told Fox News. “While we certainly believe we are all entitled to our religious beliefs, religious beliefs don’t necessarily make it okay to break the law by discriminating against others.”

Royster said forcing a business that offers services to the public to abide by discrimination laws does not violate the First Amendment – and does not pit gay rights against religious rights.

“It’s about discrimination,” she said. “It’s not religious rights versus gay rights. We have a law on the books that makes it illegal to discriminate against LGBT persons. It makes it illegal for business to do that and this business broke the law by discriminating against this couple.”

Ken Klukowsi, of the Family Research Council, called the ruling profoundly disturbing.

“This decision may bring to Americans’ attention the serious threat to religious liberty posed by overbearing government agencies when it comes to redefining marriage,” he said. “Rather than live and let live, this is forcing religious Americans to violate the basic teachings of their faith or lose their jobs.”

Lorence said they are considering appealing the ruling to the U.S. Supreme Court.

“This is very coercive, very authoritarian to crush those who do not agree and make public examples of them – and in a free society, that simply should not be,” he said.

FAITH-BASES CHARITY TO AIRLIFT PERSECUTED CHRISTIANS OUT OF SUDAN

Many Christian woman and children in Northern Sudan are separated from their families and endure increased persecution from an increasing Mulslim population (The Barnabas Fund)

An international relief agency plans to airlift some 3,400 Christians out of Sudan, where they face increasing persecution from the Islamist government.

The Barnabas Fund has already whisked about 5,000 Christians from the embattled country, where President Omar Hassan al-Bashir has vowed to create a “a 100 percent Islamic constitution, without communism or secularism or Western [influences].” The Christians will be taken to South Sudan, a smaller nation formed in 2011 where religious freedom is better tolerated.

“We launched this as major global initiative, and have had such a tremendous response from the Christian community,” Julian Dobbs, a bishop and honorary director for the Baranbas Fund, told FoxNews.com.“The situation for Christians who have remained behind has proven to create hardships for them, especially for women and children."

The Barnabas Fund's airlifting project began in August 2012, but only recently has the organization secured funds for a second phase.

Sharia law is heavily enforced in Sudan, where nearly 98 percent of the population is Muslim.

“It has made it very difficult, if not impossible, for Christians to worship,” Dobbs also said. “There is also no access for food and proper safety.”

Many families were also forcibly split from their loved ones as the pressure of persecution has increased due to the growth of Islam in the region.

The relief effort will cost about $120,000, with funding coming from private donations. Many of those waiting to be air lifted out in the coming weeks have had to endure a high rain season in refugee-like tent cities in the Khartoum region.

Since the South Sudan gained independence in July 2011, Christians and churches in Sudan have faced increasing aggression. Church leaders have been threatened, arrested and abducted, and many Christian buildings and house of worship destroyed.  In April 2012, a church and Bible school also in Khartoum was burned to the ground by an Islamist mob, and in June another church there was bulldozed by local authorities.

IRAN: CHRISTIAN MAN JAILED FOR DISTRIBUTING GOSPEL

An Iranian Christian has been sent to jail for proselytizing and ‘illegal’ home worship.

An Iranian convert from Islam to Christianity has been sentenced to a decade in prison for proselytizing, the Christian news network Agenzia Fides reports.

The man, Mohammed-Hadi “Mostafa” Bordbar, was officially charged with “crimes against state security.”

Bordbar had previously faced criminal charges for converting to Christianity. He was found guilty of “apostasy,” but was not jailed.

His latest arrest took place in December 2012. He was taken into custody following a police raid at his home, which had been used for Christian prayer meetings.

Officers found thousands of copies of the Christian Gospel, which Bordbar had been distributing in an attempt to convince others to join him in following Christianity.

The report also noted a related sentence, that of Ebrahim Firouzi, an Iranian Christian who was sentenced to one year in prison and two years of exile for “evangelization activities and distribution of Bibles… in opposition to the regime of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

Iran has a long history of arresting Christians, and targeting converts from Islam in particular. Some “Church of Iran” members have accused the state of treating them as “enemy number one.”

Christians are facing trouble in other parts of the Middle East as well. In Egypt, Coptic Christians have been targeted by violence from the Muslim Brotherhood, while in Syria, Al-Qaeda linked rebels have threatened to kill Christians who do not join the fight against President Bashar Assad.

In Iraq, Christians have been fleeing in their thousands to escape sectarian violence, which often targets Christians specifically.

WHITE HOUSE JOKES ABOUT CHRISTIANS BEING MURDERED IN EGYPT

Every day is a new low for DC. Obama in particular continues to meddle in the affairs of other countries — with an almost 0% success rate. He continues to “accidentally” arm radicals, support the Muslim Brotherhood, and make excuses for Islamic attacks on people throughout the world.

His main response to Islamic terror seems to be drone strikes — a tactic notorious for creating massive collateral damage of innocent civilians, generally creating more backlash against the United States. In other words, Obama is always either directly supporting Islamic groups or “accidentally” increasing their numbers.

Today, the White House hit a new low. A White House spokesman told  flat joke when asked about the murder of and violence against Christians in Egypt. Of all the times to joke, the murder of hundreds of people being ignored by the Obama regime isn’t one of them.

The Daily Caller reports:
Citation:

The White House’s deputy press secretary today downplayed Muslim attacks on Christians in Egypt, joking about the savagery  that has left at least six Christians dead.

Press secretary Josh Earnest was asked by Fox News’ correspondent, Ed Henry, if President Barack Obama has a “red line” beyond which he would act against Muslim attacks on Egyptian Christians.

Well, I didn’t bring my red pen out with me today,” Earnest joked.

After making his joke, Earnest said the administration is “outraged… and concerned” about the Muslim attacks on almost 100 churches, monasteries, orphanages and other marked Christian sites. Many Christians’ shops and homes have also been looted and burned by mobs.

But Earnest didn’t name or criticize the attackers, even though he did charge the military with perpetrating “violence… against peaceful protesters.”

They refuse to mention the Muslim Brotherhood by name… but they continue to attack the Egyptian military. Playing favorites is a basic Obama strategy… and thousands of innocent people continue to suffer the consequences.

Please spread this article and demand that the White House apologize.
