This May 1991 memo was written by Mohamed Akram, a.k.a. Mohamed Adlouni, for the Shura Council of the Muslim Brotherhood. In the introductory letter, Akram referenced a "long-term plan…approved and adopted" by the Shura Council in 1987 and proposed this memo as a supplement to that plan and requested that the memo be added to the agenda for an upcoming Council meeting. Appended to the document is a list of all Muslim Brotherhood organizations in North America as of 1991.

Notable quotes:

  • Enablement of Islam in North America, meaning: establishing an effective and stable Islamic Movement led by the Muslim Brotherhood which adopts Muslims' causes domestically and globally, and which works to expand the observant Muslim base, aims at unifying and directing Muslims' efforts, presents Islam as a civilization alternative, and supports the global Islamic state, wherever it is.

  • In order for Islam and its Movement to become "a part of the homeland" in which it lives, "stable" in its land, "rooted" in the spirits and minds of its people, "enabled" in the live [sic] of its society and has firmly-established "organizations" on which the Islamic structure is built and with which the testimony of civilization is achieved, the Movement must plan and struggle to obtain "the keys" and the tools of this process in carry [sic] out this grand mission as a "Civilization Jihadist" responsibility which lies on the shoulders of Muslims and – on top of them – the Muslim Brotherhood in this country.
  • The process of settlement is a "Civilization-Jihadist Proecess" with all the word means. The Ikhwan must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and "sabotaging" its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all other religions. Without this level of understanding, we are not up to this challenge and have not prepared ourselves for Jihad yet. It is a Muslim's destiny to perform Jihad and work wherever he is and wherever he lands until the final hour comes, and there is no escape from that destiny except for those who chose to slack. But, would the slackers and the Mujahedeen be equal.

Jacksonville City Council goes with HAMAS

March 1, 2013
by Randy McDaniels

The former national Chairman of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) was approved for a 2nd term on Jacksonville’s Human Rights Commission despite overwhelming opposition from the general public and almost a third of the Council members making a motion to delay the vote until March 4th, which may have allowed for Council Member’s to question Parvez Ahmed.

The meeting continued to offer spectators surprises when the Southern Regional Director for the New Black Panther Party (NBPP) Mikhail Muhammad, along with (2) uniformed Black Panther Soldiers/body guards swaggered in to speak in favor of Parvez Ahmed’s appointment. Describing himself as a “Freedom Fighter”, the Black Panther leader spoke of his active role supporting Trayvon Martin just prior to launching into a rant about the racist white man and how he sympathized with Parvez Ahmed.

The NBPP Leader gained notoriety when he said “I don’t obey the white man’s law” during an interview on national television with Anderson Cooper.

Muhammad’s statement goes to the heart of concerns expressed by many Jacksonville citizens in regard to Parvez Ahmed’s leadership of CAIR, an organization designated as the Palestine Committee, whose Bylaws state they must adhere to Sharia or Islamic law and not man made law or white man’s law as Mikhail Muhammad states.

Muslim Brotherhood documents have encouraged Sharia Adherent Muslims to join the political process as part of their “GRAND JIHAD” to subvert and destroy Western Civilization from within, as stated in An Explanatory Memorandum on the General Strategic Goal for the Group in North America by Muhammad Akram. This document was discovered during an FBI raid of the home of a Sr. Muslim Brotherhood leader Ismael Elbarasse and list CAIR’s parent organization the Islamic Association of Palestine, as well as several other mainstream Islamic Groups as friends or members of the Muslim brotherhood. Elbarasse, also founded the Dar Al Hijrah Mosque whose former Imam Anwar Awlaki was killed in a US drone strike, and current Imam Shaker Elsayyed preached a sermon last week calling for Muslims in America to Arm for JIHAD.

Councilman Robin Lumb, addressed serious concerns he had regarding Parvez Ahmed to include:

  • Parvez Ahmed’s recorded statements in favor of Anti-Blasphemy Laws in great length in 2006 and again suggested Anti-blasphemy laws should be considered in a 2012 article, which Lumb said was a none starter as far as he was concerned.
  • The fact that Parvez Ahmed was the National Chairman of CAIR, at the time CAIR sued a Commercial Airline in what came to be know as the “Flying Imams” case, more importantly the passengers were named in the suit for simply following federal guidelines and reporting mysterious behavior which mimicked the behavior of the 9/11 Hijackers. Lumb, went on to say he was curious if Parvez Ahmed condoned the actions of CAIR’s and if in his capacity of National Chairman was he powerless to influecne against litigious actions against the passengers.
  • While Councilman Lumb said he believed there was no direct linkage of Dr. Ahmed and the Holy Land Foundation which was closed down for funding HAMAS, the fact that Parvez Ahmed described the legal process as illegitimate and that the defendants were prosecuted for merely providing humanitarian relief, caused him concern as that was clearly not the case. Lumb went on to say that anyone serving on a Human Rights Commission should be able to understand and apply law.

Councilman Lumb requested that City Council Bill 2013-75, be returned to Rules for proper vetting just moments before former Council President, Richard Clark called the Bill to question. The “Call to Question” effectively shelved any discussion prior to an up or down vote on the appointment, which passed 13-6, the same vote count as 2010. Interestingly, three of the six votes against this nomination were from districts who replaced councilman who also voted against Parvez Ahmed in 2010.

Clay Yarborough, the Presiding Officer of the Rules Committee, had sent notice one week prior to Tuesday night’s vote that the appointments and reappointments would be delayed until March 4th, 2013…allowing sufficient time for another Bill introduced by Councilman Matt Schellenberg, which if approved would reduce the Human Rights Commission from 20 to 11 members, effectively make these appointments irrelevant. However, Councilman John Cresembeni, appealed the decision in Rules Committee and garnered a 4-3 vote in favor of bring it before council as on February 26th.

A Councilperson who declined to be named said the move by Councilman Cresembeni was highly irregular and in fact, such an appeal had never occurred during their entire six years of service on the City Council. John Cresembeni, nominated Parvez Ahmed in 2010, after receiving a substantial amount of his campaign contributions from the Islamic community to include donations from Parvez Ahmed.

Councilman Lumb, while addressing the rest of the council described the whole process as rare and unusual citing;

  • The denial of his request made to Jessica Deal of Mayor Alvin Brown’s office to have Parvez present at Rules Committee for questions.
  • Surrogates and not Parvez Ahmed appearing at the Rules Committee with printed talking points from Professor Ahmed counter concerns Lumb had expressed.
  • The fact these surrogates who found time to appear included non other than former Mayor John Delaney, the current Chief of Staff at UNF where Parvez Ahmed is a Professor of Finance, and an unnamed representative from ONEJAX.
  • The fact former Mayor John Delaney and the ONEJAX representative knew to ONLY distribut Parvez Ahmed’s talking points specifically to the four Rule Committee members who appealed the decision Clay Yarborough, whom consisted of consisted of John Cresembeni, Lori Boyer, Warren Jones, and Jim Love, which added to the dubious nature of the events surrounding this appointment.
  • A subsequent denial by the Mayor’s Office, in regard to Councilman Lumbs request for a noticed meeting with Parvez Ahmed after the Rules Committee’s almost unprecedented move to appeal the Committee Presidents decision.
  • An accusation by Parvez Ahmed in prepared remarks submitted by John Delaney and the ONEJAX representative suggesting that Councilman Lumb was sourcing his information from a “Hate Group”, in an obvious reference to ACT! for America, an accusation Councilman Lumb took exception too.

Interestingly, the Islamic Center of North East Florida, (where Parvez Ahmed once held a board position), sponsored a Gala to honor Former Mayors John Delaney, John Peyton, ONEJAX, and the Florida Times Union for all their work to help the Islamic Community. All were fierce proponents of Parvez Ahmed, with the Florida Times Union taking great journalistic liberties promoting Mr. Ahmed, while at the same time attacking critics and failing to report on the mountains of evidence provided by the opposition in any substantive way.

The Islamic Center of North East Florida was one of over 100 Mosques/Centers subject to an undercover investigation by Dave Gaubatz, a former Counter Intelligence Specialist and the Author of Muslim Mafia.

Each of the 100 Mosques investigated were rated on specific behavior and dress of the leadership and congregation, segregation of women, if sermons taught on the inferiority of women, inequality or hatred of non-Muslims, Jews, as well as the superiority of Sharia over manmade legislation. Gaubatz looked for radical literature to include books by Muslim Brotherhood leaders such as Sayyid Qutb or Abul Al Mawdudi, whose writing are credited with reinvigorating Islamic Movement and Jihad worldwide.

Each category was given a point value which when totaled would give a rating on Islamic Center or Mosque on a scale of 1-10, regarding three specific areas of concern; threat level, Sharia adherence, and overall potential for support of cultural or violent Jihad. The Islamic Center of North East Florida received an overall threat assessment of 9 with the maximum being 10. The Center rated 9 out of 10 in regard to Sharia adherence and 8 out of 10 in regard to potential to support Cultural or Violent Jihad.

Abdul Azziz, an employee of the Islamic Center of North East Florida, was recently captured on video by ACT! for America’s Jacksonville Chapter handing out radical literature and selling books by radical Muslim Brotherhood leader Abul Al Mawdudi at the Flea Market on Beach Boulevard. Abdul said the Islamic Center has been operating the booth for just over a year. Neighboring booth operators said that Abdul’s wife typically shows up in the morning wearing a full Burqa, sets up the booth for her husband, then sits in the car until it is time to break down the booth at the end of the day. This behavior seems to corroborate the findings of investigator Dave Gaubatz.

The failure of Jacksonville City leaders to properly understand doctrines of Political Islam and their propensity to embrace and place Sharia adherent Islamist like Parvez Ahmed in positions of authority will propel us on our way to becoming the Dearborn of the south!

I.e., sharia law. This is one of the gateway sharia laws – Islamic “family” law – that Muslims are keen openly advocate for in the U.S. via The Islamization of Spanish Jurisprudence
content_preface a écrit:
To the extent that European lawmakers are willing to graft Islamic legal principles onto Europe’s secular legal codes, Islamic Sharia law could easily become a permanent reality in Spain and across the continent.

Spain has acceded to the demands of the Islamist government in Morocco by agreeing that Moroccan children adopted by Spanish families must remain culturally and religiously Muslim.

The agreement obliges the Spanish government to establish a “control mechanism” that would enable Moroccan religious authorities to monitor the children until they reach the age of 18 to ensure they have not converted to Christianity.

The requirement, which will be enshrined in Spain’s legal code, represents an unprecedented encroachment of Islamic Sharia law within Spanish jurisprudence. The move also represents a frontal assault on the freedom of religion or belief, which is protected by Article 16 of the Spanish Constitution.

Spanish Justice Minister Alberto Ruiz-Gallardón said on February 17 that he had agreed to the demands of his Moroccan counterpart, the Islamist Mustafa Ramid, so that Spanish families who have been assigned Moroccan orphans can bring the children to Spain.

Adopting children in Morocco has always been problematic. But the procedure became vastly more complicated in 2012, when Morocco’s newly elected Islamist government announced measures to prevent non-Muslim foreigners from adopting Moroccan children.

According to the Casablanca-based NGO Feminine Solidarity Association (ASF), Morocco has an alarmingly high rate of child abandonment; an average of 24 children are abandoned every day (or around 8,700 every year) throughout the country. (ASF says many children are abandoned because of Article 490 of the Moroccan Penal Code, which stipulates one year in prison for anyone found guilty of having sexual relations outside of marriage.)

Statistically, the future for Moroccan orphans is bleak. A consortium of six NGOs reports that 80% of the children who grow up in Moroccan orphanages become delinquents, and 10% end up committing suicide. Only 10% become productive members of society.

Because of its geographic proximity, Spain has emerged as a key destination for Moroccan orphans. In 2011, the year before the Islamist government intervened to freeze the adoption process, 254 Moroccan children were assigned to Spanish families.

The Western concept of adoption — by which an adopted child becomes the true child of the adoptive parents — has never existed in Morocco (nor in most other Muslim countries).

Instead, Islamic law governs adoption through a system called “Kafala,” a legal guardianship which allows a non-Muslim person to assume responsibility for the protection, education and maintenance of an abandoned child, but which prohibits a non-Muslim from formally adopting or assuming custody of that child.

According to Kafala, the “adopted” child must keep the name and surname of his biological parents. Moreover, the child must remain Muslim and must maintain the nationality of his or her birth. In effect, non-Muslim guardians are prohibited from establishing a full parental relationship with the child, as would be the case with adoption.

Read it all at Gatestone Institute.

Extremist Islamists, once on the fringe of society, are seeing their influence grow. 'God's teachings must be carried out,' Ayman Zawahiri's brother, Mohammed, says.

CAIRO — The brother of Al Qaeda leader Ayman Zawahiri is an unflinching man with a graying beard whose aim, as a Salafi, is to impose Islamic law on the divided country that has emerged since the overthrow of secular autocrat Hosni Mubarak two years ago.

Seated at a rooftop cafe as dusk draped the Nile, traffic screeching and lights flickering in the ancient city below, he wagged a finger in the air and spoke of an "epic battle" to scour Egypt of corruption and immorality.

"God's teachings must be carried out," said Mohammed Zawahiri, an engineer who was acquitted by a military court last year after being imprisoned for more than a decade on charges of attempting to overthrow the state. "The secularists have stopped us from fulfilling God's law for hundreds of years."
Once at the edges of Egypt's political spectrum, puritanical Islamists known as Salafis have been emboldened by the nation's revolution. While the Muslim Brotherhood, now the nation's dominant political force, is monolithic and relatively moderate, Salafis include militants fighting for an Islamic caliphate in the Sinai peninsula as well as the Nour Party, which has spliced religion with shrewd political pragmatism.

The Salafis represent a volatile force in the struggle within Islam over how deeply to impose the tenets of the Koran in the face of a backlash from secularists, Christians and other minorities. The same dilemma is radiating across much of the Arab world, including in Syria, Tunisia and Libya, as radical Islamists, whether fighters in Damascus or holy men in Tunis, maneuver to exploit national upheavals.

The Nour Party, Egypt's most popular Salafist organization, won more than 20% of the seats in the now-disbanded parliament by tempering its religious rhetoric and cooperating, to a certain degree, with other factions. But uncompromising Salafi leaders, such as Mohammed Zawahiri, seldom equivocate. His Egypt would crush liberal tendencies, shrink a woman's space in public life and counter what he sees as generations of manipulation by the West.

He professes nonviolence and blames Washington for portraying conservative Islam as a primitive creed espoused by terrorists. But his imagery can be confrontational: He condemned France's recent military intervention against Islamist rebels in Mali, telling a TV station that Paris "lit the fire. It started the war, and if this continues, the first to burn will be Western people."

Zawahiri, who belongs to a branch known as Salafist Jihadists, is one among an array of sheiks whose influence, while still limited, has steadily sharpened amid Egypt's political and financial turmoil. And despite his roots, he is less publicly aggressive than Morgan Gohary, who fought with the Taliban in Afghanistan, and other Salafis returning home after years as warriors in a shifting international holy war.

"I reject all political parties," Gohary said. "Having a parliament is blasphemy. Egypt needs someone like Osama bin Laden."

Militant Islam bloomed in Egypt in the 1950s, culminating in the assassination of President Anwar Sadat in 1981 after he instituted a cold peace with Israel. That was followed by Mubarak's crackdown, which included the torture and jailing of thousands of Islamists. Bombings and militant attacks in cities and resorts shook the country into the early 2000s as Islamist militants sought to weaken Western influence over Egypt's government.

The uprisings that swept the Arab world over the last two years altered the landscape. The relatively peaceful revolt here brought down Mubarak in 18 days, a goal Islamist militants had failed to achieve by themselves in 30 years. Yet the unsteady political climate that followed brought President Mohamed Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood to power amid deepening divisions over the goals of political Islam.

Many Salafis regard Morsi and the Brotherhood as opportunists willing to appease secularists at the expense of an Islamist agenda, notably by supporting a constitution not explicitly rooted in sharia, or Islamic law. Although Salafis were allies of the Brotherhood during the initial postrevolution election, those bonds have loosened amid increasing mistrust and a struggling secular opposition.

"The secularists want Egypt to look like Europe and America," Gohary said. "But only Islamic rules should apply. God is the ruler, not the people. We battled Mubarak over this for years and this is why we killed Sadat."

Gohary pulled back his prayer cap and showed a shrapnel scar from what he said was a U.S. rocket attack in Afghanistan. He fought for the Taliban for years and said he killed American soldiers. He recently startled Egypt by calling for the destruction of the pyramids. He called them idols forbidden by Islam, much like the Buddhist statues the Taliban blew up in 2001.

"There is no successful government in the Arab world," Gohary said. "So far, only the Taliban is applying God's law. They hold true to his foundation. We have principles and morals we will not change. This is what we fight for and what the West doesn't understand."

Zawahiri is more understated, if no less apologetic.

In an interview, he stroked his beard, occasionally grasping it in a loose fist. He was perplexed over why there weren't more questions about America's policy in the region, which he said was designed to exaggerate terrorism to keep alive Washington's "military machine."

Zawahiri was tortured for years by interrogators seeking information on his brother, Ayman, whom he reportedly last saw in the late 1990s. The CIA once requested a DNA sample from him to determine whether a dead militant in Afghanistan was his brother. Upon his release, Mohammed Zawahiri, now working on a master's degree in architecture, reentered a much-changed society, in which Mubarak's once looming portraits had been burned or torn away.

The political situation "in Egypt is better than in the past when we faced repression and injustice," he said. "But we still haven't even achieved a part of what we want.... The secularists are supported by the West and want to ban the will of Muslims from instilling their beliefs."

When asked to be specific about his vision of an Islamic state, Zawahiri shook his head and suggested that the West has sought to exaggerate the strictures of sharia by focusing on such rules as cutting off the hands of thieves. He said Islamic law encompassed economics, politics and religion in a singular, indivisible way of life.

These teachings, he said, draw clear lines between sexes: Women can work in business but should never become president.

"She's weak and could not make decisions at tough times," said Zawahiri, who would not allow a woman to interpret for him. "Her nature is more for nurturing her children as God created her."

His vision of sharia would not limit the rights of Egypt's 8 million Coptic Christians, he said, and unlike Muslims they would be allowed to drink alcohol and eat pork. But he also expressed suspicion of Christians, saying, "They are imprisoning some Muslims inside their churches because these people converted to Islam."

Zawahiri downplayed any widening differences between more moderate and extremist Islamists in Egypt. He said, however, that the Brotherhood faces increased Western pressure and that its "political position is actually weak" after its inability to pass a constitution ensuring sharia. He also criticized the tactics of the Nour Party, which considers men such as Zawahiri too provocative in an already charged political atmosphere between Islamists and secularists.

"We disagree with the very political route they have taken," Zawahiri said.
But Zawahiri's fixation is on the United States. As night crept across Cairo, and minarets glowed in neon amid a sea of satellite dishes, Zawahiri, seated on the rooftop, spoke of the long wars fought by America in Iraq and Afghanistan. He suggested that the U.S., more so than the Brotherhood or the Nour Party, is his country's greatest threat.

"We don't want people pushing us toward clashes," he said.

U.S. media is reporting that the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood has sharply criticized a U.N. draft document on violence against women. According to AP report:

CAIRO — Egypt’s powerful Muslim Brotherhood has sharply criticized a U.N. draft document on violence against women as ‘deceitful,’ saying its articles clash with Islamic principles and undermine family values. The group, from which Egypt’s President Mohammed Morsi hails, called on other Muslim nations, women’s groups and Islamic organizations to reject the document, which is expected to be endorsed at the end of a meeting of the U.N. Commission on the Status of Women this week. It called on women groups not to be ‘lured by phony calls for civilized behavior.”

Earlier this month a post reported that the International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS), headed by Global Muslim Brotherhood leader Youssef Qaradawi, called on all Muslim countries not to sign international treaties without consulting “Islamic scholars and referred especially to the scheduled discussion on the document on violence against women.

And who sent the? Are they representing the Obama administration or were they sent on behalf of Obama? via U.S. Muslim, Arab-American delegation visits Morocco to talk about political reforms – OrlandoSentinel.com.
A group of U.S. Muslims and Arab-Americans are visiting the North African country of Morocco this week to talk with that nation’s government and civil organizations about strengthening democracy, according to the Council on American-Islamic Relations.
The 16-member U.S. delegation has met with officials from groups including the country’s parliament, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Council for Human Rights.

The delegation includes members of CAIR, the Muslim American Society, Islamic Circle of North America, Syrian American Council, American Muslims for Palestine, and the Coordinating Council of Muslim Organizations, as well as James Gomez of the Rainbow PUSH Coalition and Randa Fahmy Hudome, a former George W. Bush administration official.

Political reforms and democracy like the Arab Spring? Morocco must be in need of Saudi money. Either way, Morocco should be wary and these Muslim Brotherhood groups should be banned in the U.S. just like they were in Egypt. The UAE is well aware of their deceit and infiltration while we embrace them.

CAIRO, Egypt, March 28, 2013 /Christian Newswire/ -- A significant conference on Citizenship and Minorities under the Rule of the Muslim Brotherhood will be held in Cairo on March 30-31, 2013.

Mr. Magdi Khalil, Director of the Middle East Freedom Forum which organizes the conference, announced that it is the largest of its kind in Egypt's modern history on this topic, with approximately 70 politicians, academicians and expert researchers either attending or presenting research papers. These researches, which explore the current and future status of minorities under Muslim rule, will be published in two volumes in Arabic and English languages.

The conference will cover eight key topics through eight sessions, namely: "The Political Participation of Minorities under the Rule of the Muslim Brotherhood," "The Status of Minorities in the New Egyptian Constitution," "The Status of Religious Freedoms under the Rule of the Muslim Brotherhood," "The Status of non-Muslims in Muslim Brotherhood's Ideology," "Religious Discrimination under the rule of the Muslim Brotherhood," "The Economic Situation of Minorities under the rule of the Muslim Brotherhood," "The Status of Women under the Rule of the Muslim Brotherhood," and "The Problems of Minorities under the rule of the Muslim Brotherhood."

Representatives of Copts, Baha'is, Nubians, Sinai Bedouins, Jewish Egyptians, and women's rights activists will participate in the conference, which is chaired by Dr. Osama al-Ghazali Harb and Dr. Kamal Hamed Mogheeth.

The Conference will begin with opening remarks by Prof. Boutros Boutros-Ghali, former Secretary-General of the United Nations, and Prof. Cherif Bassiouni, professor of international criminal law in Chicago.

The conference comes at a critical time as, ever since the Muslim Brotherhood came to power, minorities have been subject to escalating attacks, which led to heightened fears and a wave of migration out of Egypt. Likewise, attacks against minorities and resultant fears have intensified in the Middle East as a whole, where Islamists are seemingly planning to tighten their grip on the region, taking advantage of the so-called Arab Spring uprising.

At the closing of the Conference, Dr. Abdel Moneim Said will present the first Middle East Freedom Forum Award for Outstanding civil society leadership, to the name of the late Ola Ghabbour for her role in founding the Children's Cancer Hospital (CCHE 57357); Mrs. Heba Al-Sewidi for her role in treating the victims of Egyptian Revolution; and to Dr. Mohamed Mounir Megahed for his role in founding the "Egyptians Against Religious Discrimination" organization.

The conference will conclude with a patriotic concert by the national youth band "Bahia."

The Middle East Freedom Forum, which organizes the conference, is a non-profit organization registered in Egypt and the United States of America, with headquarters in Cairo and Washington.

Media representatives, reporters, academicians, civil society activists and interested individuals are invited to attend the conference.

If you wish to attend, please contact the Forum to register.

via Judge reverses ruling on Islamic center near Naperville – Chicago Tribune.

A federal judge on Friday reversed a DuPage County board decision that kept an Islamic worship center from opening just outside Naperville.

The Irshad Learning Center sought to open in a single-family home at 25W030 75th St. that had been previously used as a private school. In 2010, the county board voted 10-7 to deny its application for a conditional use permit after some neighbors complained their property values would go down.

Irshad, which has about 75 members, filed a lawsuit challenging the decision on grounds ranging from religious discrimination to the county’s alleged violations of its own zoning laws. U.S. District Judge Rebecca Pallmeyer found in a 70-page ruling there was no “direct evidence of deliberate discrimination” by the county or its workers, though she noted that a zoning board of appeals member had asked the group’s attorney if animal sacrifices would be held.

But she did find that DuPage County’s “repeated errors, speculation, and refusal to impose conditions” under which the project could be approved led her to conclude that the county had wrongly imposed a “substantial burden” on the group’s application and that its denial was “arbitrary and capricious.”

Mahmood Ghassemi, an Irshad board member, said he was “delighted to hear” of the judge’s ruling and said the group had been renting space in a Woodridge church. The organization began searching for a permanent home in 2003.

“Hopefully this is the end of our struggle in terms of having our own permanent place,” he said.

Attorneys from the Council on American-Islamic Relations’ Chicago chapter represented the group but could not be reached Friday afternoon. A spokesman for the DuPage County state’s attorney’s office, which represented the county, said lawyers were reviewing the ruling and had no immediate comment.

The judge found that the record showed some citizens groups had made public remarks to county board members that appeared discriminatory, but board members had testified they did not take the comments into account when voting.

She also ruled that there was no evidence that Irshad, which planned weekly Thursday night services along with special events for weddings or religious holidays, would mar traffic, cause flooding or reduce property values.

Clueless or paid off?

Pallmeyer wrote that she anticipates the county board will order a conditional use permit for the property “absent a material change in the circumstances.”

Why are federal judges listening to a federally designated unindicted co-conspirator to the largest Islamic terror financing conviction in U.S. history?

CAIR has also been banned by the FBI and is facing a massive fraud lawsuit not to mention many of its leaders have been jailed on terrorism charges? Furthermore, why are the feds even involved in a local zoning matter?

And how will 75 people fit in a single-family home and where will they park? And what happens when that 75 mushrooms to 125, 150? The surrounding home and pre-schools will have their hands full.

By Debbie Schlussel

It’s odd that Black America continues to embrace the religion that traded and sold them into slavery from Africa, the religion that still enslaves them in Muslim countries around the world, and the inherently racist religion that refers to Blacks as “abed” or “abeed” (the Arabic singular and plural word which literally means “slave” but is used as the Muslim version of the N-word). But Ebony Magazine–the most popular monthly publication in Black America–named Muslims, Rufus and Jenny Triplett, its couple of the year in 2012, and they continue to milk this throughout Black America for the purpose of proselytizing Islam.

Ebony Couple of the Year Converts Black Criminals & Ex-Cons to Islam

The Tripletts, through their Dawah International, LLC (dawah is Islamic proselytizing), pretend that they are offering “marriage advice” to Black America. But that’s the bait for the switch. They publish Prisonworld Magazine and own Prisonworld Records, which pretend to help ex-cons, but the purpose of which is really to convert Black prisoners and ex-cons to Islam. Because we need more of that, right? They also prey on “at-risk youth.”

Both of the Tripletts apparently served time in prison (they say their work is “fueled by their personal experiences in the prison system”) and Rufus Triplett claims to have been in the ’80s one-hit-wonder pop group, “Ready for the World” (which had the cheesy hit song, “Oh, Sheila“). But only Willie Triplett, a relative, is listed as having been in the group. (Hey, who said Muslims can’t lie to infidels. That’s taqiyya, baby.) Sadly, the Tripletts are using their newfound fame from Ebony to try to convert more Blacks across America to Islam. They’ve made appearances at mosques and churches, including in Detroit, with the veneer of offering marital advice. They appear as speakers at prisons to proselytize Islam, and they also have a weekly radio show to appeal to ex-cons, called, “Prisonworld Radio Hour.”

Recent appearances by the Tripletts at a Detroit-area church and mosque were gushingly publicized in a story on the second front page of the Detroit Free Press, but Muslim propagandist Detroit Free Press “reporter” Niraj Warikoo conveniently forgot to mention Dawah International or any of the Triplett’s Prisonworld projects. (Warikoo, never one to check facts when a fellow Muslim tells him something, falsely repeated as fact that Rufus Triplett was a member of “Ready For The World.”)

Hmmm . . . we wouldn’t want the world to know that this “happy, successful Islamic couple offering marriage advice” is actually converting more and more criminals to Islam and radicalism, right?

Oh, and by the way, the Tripletts got a letter of encouragement for their Prisonworld Islamic conversion efforts from Barack Obama.

Monday, April 08, 2013
A Toronto father was banned from watching his daughter's swimming lessons because some of the students are Muslims.
“I don’t think religion has a role to play in a public pool.”...banned father. Of course it doesn't, but this is sharia implementation in Western societies. Anywhere Western law and Islamic law conflict, it is Western law that has to give way.
Toronto dad upset he's not allowed to watch daughter's swim class Toronto Sun, April 6, 2013 (thanks to Chai)

TORONTO - When a single dad signed his nine-year-old daughter up for female-only swim lessons, he didn’t realize he — as a man — was going to be banned from watching her practice.

Chris (who didn’t want his last name published) was shocked when he had the blinds to the viewing area of the Dennis R. Timbrell Recreation Centre pool in Flemingdon Park shut on him and then was told by staffers it was for “religious reasons.”

“I spoke to a staff member and she told me that it’s because of Muslim women, that we’re not allowed to look at them or whatever,” Chris, 38, told the Toronto Sun Friday. “I don’t think religion has a role to play in a public pool.”

Chris said he enrolled his daughter online through the city’s website and registered her for the Ultra Swim 1: Female class – a nine-week course offered for free at the community centre.

Nowhere on the form did it mention that males could not watch the lessons.

So, when he showed up with his child at the pool on March 28 and again on Thursday night, he was confused when told he wasn’t allowed to watch.

“She doesn’t have a lot of friends and I wanted her to swim with girls,” Chris explained. “I don’t know what parent wouldn’t want to watch their child participate. There were other fathers there who weren’t too happy.”

Local Councillor John Parker hadn’t heard of the particular case until the Sun contacted him Friday, but said the dad’s point is a “legitimate one” and raises a “fair issue.”

“If we have a young child and there is a desire for the parent to provide supervision I would hope that we would not be so inflexible,” he said.

The Ward 26-Don Valley West councillor said there are only so many hours available in the pool.

“So we have to decide and we have to determine just what are the options that are available to us and how many hours are there in the day to allow the different options that communities want,” Parker said. “So far the pressure has been to provide hours for women only, this gives rise to the legitimate question: ought we to find time for mixed groups precisely to accommodate the concern that this parent has raised.”

Female-only swim programs began 20 years ago on the basis of “accommodating cultural and religious practices and requirements,” confirmed city aquatics manager Anne Jackson.

“Without a female-only program, there would be women that wouldn’t be able to participate in swimming,” Jackson said. “This is the way it needs to be in order to accommodate the programs. We’re not opening the door to one cultural group only — this is all females we’re accommodating.”

Late last month, Dennis R. Timbrell began a male-only swim course where only men could watch from the sidelines — no moms. The program bred from the same religious/cultural reasons, Jackson said.

If any parents wish to watch their child who is enrolled in a female or male-only swim class, they would have to move them to a mixed boys/girls class that runs three days a week.

The weekly gender-specific swim classes are open to anyone from two to 18, but Jackson said the city won’t consider separating existing classes into younger age groups (that would allow parents of the opposite sex to be present) because it wouldn’t “accommodate the needs of the majority of people who want to participate in a girls-only program.”

She agreed, however, the registration forms should be clearer in stating that only parents of the same gender of the child will be admitted.

“I think that’s a fair criticism,” Jackson said.

Posted on April 10 2013 by creeping

via American Freedom Law Center.

On April 8, the American Freedom Law Center (AFLC) filed a notice of appeal in the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in response to the Trademark Trial & Appeal Board’s (TTAB) affirmance of the denial of the “Stop Islamisation of America” or “SIOA” trademark application, which was sought by anti-sharia advocates Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer.

Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer, executive directors of the human rights organization, the Freedom Defense Initiative (FDI), applied to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to register the trademark “Stop the Islamisation of America” to foster and provide an understanding of how to prevent sharia-based tyranny and Islamist terrorism.

The USPTO rejected FDI’s application in an “Office Action” based on the following analysis: (1) “Islamisation” means converting to Islam or “to make Islamic;” and (2), “Stop” would be understood to mean that “action must be taken to cease, or put an end to, converting or making people in America conform to Islam.” Thus, the trademark, according to the “Office Action” ruling, disparaged Muslims and linked them to terrorism.

As a result, AFLC appealed the rejection of the SIOA mark to the TTAB, filing a detailed and lengthy brief opposing the USPTO’s ruling. The AFLC brief demonstrated that the term “Islamisation” is not broadly defined as a conversion of an individual; or even a whole society to the religion of Islam; or to the state of being more culturally Islamic. Rather, AFLC argued, “Islamisation” is the process of implementing sharia into a society in order to convert that society to a sharia-compliant Islamic state.

At oral argument before the TTAB in Arlington, Virginia, David Yerushalmi, AFLC Co-Founder and Senior Counsel, argued that the only probative evidence in the record for the actual meaning of “Islamisation” was that presented by his clients and which showed beyond any doubt that Muslims and non-Muslims alike used and understood “Islamisation” to be the political movement to implement Islamic law or sharia as the law of the land.

Yerushalmi commented: “The TTAB’s opinion upholding the USPTO’s rejection of the mark was forced to bend itself into a pretzel to get around the only evidence in the record. The term ‘Islamisation’ is a political movement – not religious conversion – and it can be traced to the Muslim Brotherhood, where it is found in their own documents advocating ‘civilizational jihad.’ Furthermore, the term is used frequently in professional and academic contexts.

Therefore, ‘stopping Islamisation’ and linking this doctrine to terrorism does not implicate good, patriotic, loyal Muslims in America; instead, it is an important educational tool that raises awareness about those who seek the demise of our constitutional Republic through a sharia-based political process.”

AFLC Co-Founder and Senior Counsel Robert Muise commented: “It is crucial that Americans understand the threat that our Nation faces from sharia-adherent Islam, especially from stealth jihadists who covertly seek to perpetuate sharia into American society. This trademark does exactly that.”

Once the Notice of Appeal is accepted, the USPTO must transfer the relevant filings to the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, which will then set a briefing schedule.

"In Spain there are signs that Islam will dominate once again." — Hizrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Spiritual Leader, Ahmadiyya Community, Spain

January 2, 2013 · by Moderator · in Muslims WorldWide

In another “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) organized demonstration in the northwestern Idlib province of Syria, supporters of the FSA are seen gathered while carrying the black flags of al-Qaeda and chanting in unison the following song:

“Islamic, Islamic… Our revolution is Islamic
In spite of you, Obama, it will return Islamic

Where are you, partisans of Allah, to see this sight?
Our revolution is that of Islam, we want a Caliphate

Don’t be afraid, our Ummah, by Allah don’t be afraid!
Allah is with us, Muslims, in this cause

Islamic, Islamic… Our revolution is Islamic
In spite of you, Obama, it will return Islamic

Don’t try, Obama, to steal our revolution
It is our religion that binds us and unites our force

The Caliph will return to protect our Ummah
To take care of this Ummah’s issues in the highest sense

Islamic, Islamic… Our revolution is Islamic
In spite of you, Obama, it will return Islamic”

Again, these kinds of protests should raise “red flags” at the White House or the British government, but taxpayer money from the US and the UK is still being funneled to assist these al-Qaeda terrorists in butchering innocent Syrians and subsequently transforming Syria into a Taliban-like state of Afghanistan.

MessagePosté le: Lun 15 Avr - 16:00 (2013)    Sujet du message: SAUDI PRINCE MAKES ECONOMIC CASE FOR WOMEN DRIVERS Répondre en citant

Reuters – 3 hours ago

Saudi billionaire Prince Alwaleed bin Talal speaks at a news conference in Riyadh …

DUBAI (Reuters) - Saudi Arabian billionaire Prince AlWaleed bin Talal, a nephew of King Abdullah, has thrown his support behind allowing Saudi women to drive, saying it makes economic sense.

Women are barred from driving in the Arab kingdom - leaving them reliant on mostly foreign drivers.

"(The question of) women driving will result in dispensing with at least 500,000 foreign drivers, and that has an economic and social impact for the country," the prince said on his Twitter account on Sunday.

He did not spell out the economic benefits, but Saudi officials have said they are worried about the amount of money being sent out of the country by foreign workers.

Many Saudi families would also have more disposable income if they no longer had to pay for drivers.

Saudi Arabia, home to about nine million foreign workers, began a crackdown on illegal immigrants this year to boost the proportion of Saudi citizens in private sector jobs from the current 10 percent.

In the same Twitter message, the prince said he supported that campaign.

Saudi Arabia is a conservative monarchy, backed by religious scholars. It follows an austere Salafist form of Sunni Islam and allows clerics wide powers in society where they dominate the judicial system and run their own police squad to enforce religious morals.

After pro-democracy protests swept through the region in 2011, dozens of Saudi women responded to the "Women 2 Drive" campaign, posting pictures and videos of their driving on Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.

Some of the women were detained briefly and two faced charges, including that of "challenging the monarch".

One of them was let go after signing a pledge not to drive again, while the other was sentenced to 10 lashes. Reuters could not confirm if the lashing sentence was inflicted, but a Saudi princess tweeted that it had been revoked.

While there is no written legislation banning women from driving, Saudi law requires citizens to use locally issued licenses while in the country. Such licenses are not issued to women, making it effectively illegal for them to drive.

The litigation jihadists of Muslim Brotherhood proxy CAIR (Council on Anti-American Islamic Relations) announced today that it has filed discrimination complaints with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) against Exel, Inc., a subsidiary of DHL, on behalf of 18 Muslim employees who were allegedly fired for praying in the workplace.

CNBC The Muslim employees reported to CAIR-Columbus that they had asked the company several times for prayer accommodations, including adjusting break times or taking their prayer breaks without pay, but the company repeatedly denied any of the accommodations proposed by the employees. One manager allegedly told the employees they should pray in the bathroom so they wouldn’t be seen praying. Other managers told them to “obey the rules or get fired.”

In their complaints, the employees say they made an effort to resolve the dispute by trying to speak to human resources, but that Exel managers and supervisors repeatedly refused to allow them access to the human resources department.

Managers reportedly began terminating Muslim employees when they saw them praying at work. On February 8, 2013 the general manager called a meeting in which he reportedly told a large group of Muslim employees, many of whom had been working for the company for years, that Exel would not change its policies and that the company could not provide a religious accommodation. He ultimately terminated the entire group when they insisted they had a right to religious accommodation.

Both state and federal law requires employers to accommodate the religious practices of their employees unless it creates an undue burden on the company.

“This company has a history of discriminating against Muslims, especially Muslims of Somali origin,” said CAIR-Ohio Legal Director Jennifer Nimer. “This is not the first time a group of Muslim employees has been fired from this company for requesting a prayer accommodation. This type of blatant discrimination cannot be tolerated.”

According to the EEOC, 21 percent of religious discrimination complaints in 2011 involved bias against Muslim workers. CAIR offers a booklet, called “An Employer’s Guide to Islamic Religious Practices,” to help employers gain a better understanding of Islam and Muslims in the workplace.

A local council decided against flying the flag of St George after concerns were raised that it would offend the town’s 16 Muslim residents.

Eleanor Jackson, a university lecturer, said the red and white symbol could cause upset in Radstock, Somerset, because it was used during the Crusades 1,000 years ago. The Labour councillor voiced her concerns at a meeting called to discuss which flag should be purchased to fly atop the town’s repaired civic flagpole. She said: “My big problem is that it is offensive to some Muslims, but even more so that it has been hijacked by the far right.

”My thoughts are we ought to drop it for 20 years.” Radstock Town Council, which serves a local population of more than 5,600 residents, eventually decided to purchase a Union flag to fly on Armistice Day. More

Terrorism attempts by deranged Muslims provide bigots with a bonanza - an opportunity to attack Muslims and Islam to try to convince decent folks that Muslims and their faith are evil and a threat to the West.

The horrible Boston Marathon terror attack and the alleged attempt to derail VIA RAIL to inflict destruction in Canada prompted the Islam-bashers to unleash a torrent of hate against Muslims and Islam. But this time the media provided some Muslims a chance to explain their viewpoint. More important, thoughtful Canadians spoke out in a fair manner to produce an informative dialogue.

The most discussed comment came from Liberal party leader Justin Trudeau. Responding to a question by CBC on how he’d handle terrorist attacks, Trudeau said he’d have to look at the root causes of terrorism. Trudeau is a rising political star and has recently been elected leader of the Liberal party which used to be in power most of the time but has now fallen into the disfavor of voters.

What Trudeau said was being asserted by US pundits as well. They, too, were puzzled by the resiliency of terror and want to know what drives people of diverse backgrounds to criminal assaults.

Islamophobes pounced on Trudeau. One writer with the Ottawa Citizen, long known for his inaccurate diatribes against Muslims and Islam, declared that Trudeau was naive, lacked experience and intellect on the topic. This writer argued that the “Islamists, like the Nazis and Communists, are motivated more by spiritual disease.” He said that they saw themselves “as specially chosen, whether by God, the Fuhrer or history, and justify their killing as sanctioned by a higher purpose.”

He wrote that there are “close ideological ties between Islamic terrorism and Nazism” and they are “devoted to destruction of the Western world in large part because they hate its progressivist notions of inclusion, toleration and multiculturalism.”

Well, if one is going to lie one might as well do so on a massive scale and attack the truth relentlessly and shamelessly. So the writer compares Islam with Nazism while ignoring that when Jews were being killed by Nazis and the West was refusing to let in Jewish refugees, it was Muslims who gave them shelter.

Janice Kennedy, a writer with the same paper but with a reputation for fairness, presented a different picture.

She wrote: “At a time when terrorism seems ubiquitous and inescapable, we Canadians find ourselves wrestling with our principles on a national scale. How unfortunate, then, that our soul-searching is being sidetracked by the voices of intolerance, by the small minds that would have us turn our backs on the things that have traditionally made us Canadian.”

She continued: “You can imagine the apprehensive despair that must wash over ordinary Muslims every time a criminal tragedy like Boston, or a potential criminal tragedy like the alleged train plot, hits the news. There must be a collective groan of ‘oh no,’ much like the Catholics hearing, about yet another child-abusing priest, a different kind of terrorist.”

She concluded with a powerful message: “Certainly terrorism exists, and certainly it must be confronted. But we won’t defeat it by reducing ourselves, by making our nation less than what it has always tried to be, by giving in to baser instincts.

Emotion can be a powerful thing, but it has a dark side. When it gets snarled in irrational fear, anger and desire for revenge, it can destroy the things we value most. Hate-filled hysteria is never a good response.”

While these two represent the extremes of the Canadian position, the media enabled Muslims to offer their own perspectives.

CAIR-CANADA arranged a press conference on Parliament Hill where Amira Elghawaby, the human rights officer, introduced Ihsan Gardee, the executive director, Imam Samy Metwally of the Ottawa Muslim Association, Safaa Fouda, board member of the Ottawa Muslim Women’s Organization and me. Gardee noted that it was a tip from a Toronto imam to the RCMP that led to the arrests and foiled the plot. Imam Metwally explained that hurting the innocent is against the teachings of Islam. Fouda stated that Muslims have provided sensitivity training to RCMP. I said that the overwhelming number of terrorist acts in North America have been committed by non-Muslims and that most Muslims love Canada which affords them dignity, freedom, security, prosperity and human rights.

Imam Metwally and Imam Zijad Delic of the South Nepean Muslim Community told the Ottawa Citizen that safeguarding Canadians is an Islamic duty for Muslims. Imam Delic and Aisha Shirazi, a convert and an asset to the Muslim community, wrote in the National Post. Shaheena Khan appeared on CBC in Winnipeg. Imam Sikander Hashmi of the Islamic Center of Kingston wrote in the Kingston Whig-Herald. Lawyer and academic Faisal Kutty’s piece appeared in the Toronto Star.

So Muslims got a chance to tell fellow Canadians, courtesy of the media, that Islam has nothing to do with terrorism just as terrorists of other faiths do not represent their faiths.

This AP story uses "conservative" to refer to the pro-Sharia Muslims who blocked this women's rights law. That's in accord with common journalistic practice, which refers to religious people of any religion as "conservative" and to more secular types as "liberal." The common journalistic practice runs into a contradiction, however, with the global alliance between Islamic supremacists and the forces of the Left. That leads the mainstream media to term opponents of Sharia "right-wing" and even "far-right," their all-purpose term to semaphore to readers that we are bad people and decent folks should stay away from us. But that means that in the U.S., opponents of Sharia are "conservatives," while in Afghanistan, proponents of Sharia are "conservatives." If ever (and this will never happen) a counter-jihad, anti-Sharia movement arose in Afghanistan, AP's collective head would explode.

Anyway, note that the Sharia supremacists block a law banning child marriage. This is because Muhammad consummated his marriage with Aisha when he was 54 and she was 9, and he is the supreme example for conduct (cf. Qur'an 33:21), so his example is normative and cannot be questioned. And the law also would have prevented the prosecution of rape victims -- one of the most noxious manifestations of the fact that in Islamic law, men are not called upon to exercise any self-control at all. Their conduct is entirely the woman's responsibility. If she gets raped, it is her fault.

"Conservative Afghan lawmakers block legislation protecting women’s rights," from the Associated Press, May 18 (thanks to all who sent this in):
KABUL, Afghanistan — Conservative religious lawmakers in Afghanistan blocked legislation on Saturday aimed at strengthening provisions for women’s freedoms, arguing that parts of IT VIOLATE ISLAMIC PRINCIPLES AND ENCOURAGE DISOBEDIENCE.

The fierce opposition highlights how tenuous women’s rights remain a dozen years after the ouster of the hard-line Taliban regime, whose strict interpretation of Islam once kept Afghan women virtual prisoners in their homes.

Khalil Ahmad Shaheedzada, a conservative lawmaker for Herat province, said the legislation was withdrawn shortly after being introduced in parliament because of an uproar by religious parties who said parts of the law are un-Islamic.

“Whatever is against Islamic law, we don’t even need to speak about it,” Shaheedzada said.

The Law on Elimination of Violence Against Women has been in effect since 2009, but only by presidential decree. It is being brought before parliament now because lawmaker Fawzia Kofi, a women’s rights activist, wants to cement it with a parliamentary vote to prevent its potential reversal by any future president who might be tempted to repeal it to satisfy hard-line religious parties.

The law criminalizes, among other things, child marriage and forced marriage, and bans “baad,” the traditional practice of selling and buying women to settle disputes. It also makes domestic violence a crime punishable by up to three years in prison and specifies that rape victims should not face criminal charges for fornication or adultery.

Kofi, who plans to run for president in next year’s elections, said she was disappointed because among those who oppose upgrading the law from presidential decree to legislation passed by parliament are women.

Afghanistan’s parliament has more than 60 female lawmakers, mostly due to constitutional provisions reserving certain seats for women.

There has been spotty enforcement of the law as it stands. A United Nations analysis in late 2011 found only a small percentage of reported crimes against women were pursued by the Afghan government. Between March 2010 and March 2011 — the first full Afghan year the decree was in effect — prosecutors filed criminal charges in only 155 cases, or 7 percent of the total number of crimes reported.

The child marriage ban and the idea of protecting female rape victims from prosecution were particularly heated subjects in Saturday’s parliamentary debate, said Nasirullah Sadiqizada Neli, a conservative lawmaker from Daykundi province.

Neli suggested that removing the custom — common in Afghanistan —of prosecuting raped women for adultery would lead to social chaos, with women freely engaging in extramarital sex safe in the knowledge they could claim rape if caught.

Another lawmaker, Mandavi Abdul Rahmani of Barlkh province, also opposed the law’s rape provision.

“Adultery itself is a crime in Islam, whether it is by force or not,” Rahmani said.

He said the Quran also makes clear that a husband has a right to beat a disobedient wife as a last resort, as long as she is not permanently harmed. “But in this law,” he said, “It says if a man beats his wife at all, he should be jailed for three months to three years.”...

Hundreds of residents of Gush Etzion, south of Jerusalem, were astounded Monday morning to see an oversized Nazi flag flying next to a mosque in the Arab town of Beit Omar.

The residents notified the IDF.

A resident, Uri Arnon, told the Tazpit News Agency: "I felt we were going back 75 years, losing our hold on the land. The Arabs no longer feel the need to hide their murderous tendencies, announcing out loud that they wish to annihilate us."
An IDF spokesman said that the flag was hung on an electrical line, and that they were waiting to professionals to come and remove it.
