REPORT ON CHILD REFUGEES HIGHLIGHTS 'UNACCEPTABLE' RISK

Risks for child refugees in Europe include trafficking, exploitation, illness, death, according to ombudspersons report.

Over a million children are refugees of the Syrian war and thousand have traveled to Europe seeking safety and asylum [Yannis Behrakis/Reuters]
Amsterdam, the Netherlands -  Child refugees face unacceptable risks on their way through Europe. Among these risks are illness, trafficking, exploitation, sexual abuse and even death. European countries are seriously failing to protect these children on the move.

This is the conclusion of a report on the safety of child refugees by the Taskforce on Children on the Move, an initiative of 41 ombudspersons for children from 33 European countries.

"The rights of refugee children are merely a footnote in the European Union-agenda on migration, whereas they should be at the core of it," said Marc Dullaert, the chairman of the Network of European Ombudspersons for Children, during the presentation of the report, yesterday in Amsterdam.

WATCH: Child refugees stranded in French city of Calais

The situation is now all the more urgent, Dullaert said, because the number of child refugees coming to Europe has increased dramatically. In June 2015, 16 percent of all migrants crossing the Mediterranean were children. By December this number had more than doubled to 35 percent.

In 2015, at least 337,000 children were registered as asylum seekers in Europe, but their real number is believed to be much higher.

Dangerous journey

The journey across the Mediterranean is very dangerous for children, according to the report.
One third of all migrants who die during the crossing are children. For the ones who survive a difficult and traumatising journey lies ahead.

"When child refugees arrive in Greece, they are wet and cold," said Dullaert. "Some suffer from hypothermia, which can lead to serious illnesses like pneumonia. We know of cases where babies died of hypothermia. There is a serious lack of immediate help at the shores in Greece. In Lesbos, for example, refugees have to walk 70km to the reception centre," Dullaert said.

According to the report, the situation in the transit centres along the Western Balkan route is often deplorable. Only 22 to 45 percent of the centres have been 'winterised', which means children have to sleep in unheated tents or sheds at temperatures below zero.

Sanitary facilities are often inadequate. "This is really shameful. We all know that each year there's a winter. That is a fact of life we can prepare for," said Dullaert.

Some children face sexual abuse and violence in the transit centres. At the chaotic border controls children run the risk to be separated from their parents. Unaccompanied children are prone to become victims of trafficking, sexual exploitation or extortion by smugglers. They also run the risk to be placed in detention, in some cases even for several months.

"All these European countries that refugees pass through have signed the European Convention of the Rights of the Child. They cannot turn a blind eye to this situation," said Dullaert.

A call for action

The report calls upon the European Commission to immediately develop an action plan to protect refugee children. Rolling Eyes = Who control the EU? The satanic Roman Empire so don't expect to see these child be protect.

An important practical change would be the improvement of the transit centres on the route through Europe.

Many of the refugee centres across Europe are not equipped for the winter [Mona van den Berg/Al Jazeera]

The centres should be equipped with heating, warm water, blankets and warm clothes. Child-friendly spaces and separate sleeping areas for men and women and children should be created.
On a political level the report urges European countries to an increase the possibilities for family reunification, instead of decreasing them as some states  are now trying to do.
Furthermore, the report calls for priority to be given to orphans and families with children in the relocation schemes for the 160,000 refugees who are now in Greece and Italy but need to be redistributed among other European countries.

What the effect of the ombudsperson's call for action will be, remains uncertain.

"As children's ombudspersons we cannot force governments to take action," Dullaert said. "We can only put this issue on the agenda. But we have already been invited to present our report at several important summits. So it will certainly be discussed in the biggest international forums."

"We are very happy with this report," said Margot Ende, director of SOS Children's Villages Netherlands, one of the NGOs setting up child friendly spaces in transit centres in the Balkans.

"This survey draws attention to the problems of child refugees and that is a very good thing. But it remains to be seen if concrete measures will be taken immediately to improve the lot of these children. Many of the problems described in the report have been known for quite some time, and yet so far nothing has been done about it. There really is need for action."

PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES CRUZ AND RUBIO CONTINUE TO COURT ANTI-LGBT GROUPS

How the SPLC and anti-God puppets,
the control oppostion, are unite to bring hate and criminalization against the divine law of the family.

Hatewatch Staff

March 08, 2016

Last November, Sen. Ted Cruz made some waves when he and two other presidential candidates—Mike Huckabee and Bobby Jindal—addressed an event in Iowa in support of “religious liberty.” The event was sponsored by extreme anti-LGBT radio host Kevin Swanson, of the anti-LGBT hate group Generations with Vision.

Swanson has made many anti-LGBT statements over the years, and he has also defended the execution of LGBT people, though he said he would provide LGBT people a chance to repent first. Huckabee and Cruz pleaded ignorance about Swanson’s views, which are readily accessible through a web search.

Appearing at the event was a mistake, Rick Tyler, a Cruz campaign spokesman, told USAToday in December. Tyler said that Swanson’s comments about supporting the execution of LGBT people are “reprehensible,” and further stated that Cruz has spoken out repeatedly against anyone who calls for hatred or violence against homosexuals.

In spite of Tyler’s claims about Cruz’s support for LGBT people, Cruz was scheduled to be at a campaign rally yesterday in Mississippi that included anti-LGBT and anti-Muslim radio host Bryan Fischer, the former director of issues analysis at the American Family Association (AFA), an anti-LGBT hate group. Cruz cancelled the appearance, citing illness, but told his Mississippi campaign chairman, State Sen. Chris McDaniel, that he wanted to come, and that he was still hoping to do a pop-in, but “there’s no way he could make a full rally.”

Though Fischer was removed from his directorship early last year, he remains a radio host and blogger at AFA. Fischer is known for his vitriolic anti-LGBT and anti-Muslim statements linking homosexuality to pedophilia as well as Nazism. He has called for the criminalization of homosexuality, called for the cessation of Muslim immigration to the U.S. and also stated that Muslims don’t have First Amendment rights. Fischer has even attacked African-Americans, saying, “[I]t’s no wonder we are now awash in the disastrous social consequences of people who rut like rabbits.”

“Religious liberty” has become a rallying cry for anti-LGBT groups, especially since last year’s Supreme Court ruling that legalized marriage equality nationwide. A litany of so-called “religious freedom restoration acts” have been proposed in many states, all drafted and driven by anti-LGBT groups attempting to legalize discrimination.

In late February, in fact, the Cruz campaign announced a “religious liberty” advisory council that features several people who have been instrumental in spreading and propagating damaging falsehoods about LGBT people for years.

The narrative behind “religious liberty” portrays Christians who object to homosexuality on biblical grounds as victims of religious persecution. The so-called RFRAs would allow Christians, especially, to deny goods and services to LGBT people on the basis of their religious beliefs. Cruz devotes a page of his website to this new narrative. On day one of a Cruz administration, the site claims, Cruz will “instruct the Department of Justice, the IRS, and every other federal agency that the persecution of religious liberty ends today.”

Rubio’s campaign website states that “religious liberty is the right to live according to your religious teachings and to have the opportunity to spread it to others, instill it in your children and live it in your everyday life.” He has also stated that he has a plan to make same-sex marriage illegal again, which includes appointing only conservative justices to the Supreme Court who would interpret the 2015 ruling differently.

The choices for Cruz’s religious liberty advisory council are weighted heavily toward anti-LGBT Christian, something his council has in common with a “marriage and family” advisory board that Senator Marco Rubio’s campaign announced in February.

In fact, the two boards share some members:
• Cruz’s council includes two people from the anti-LGBT hate group Family Research Council (FRC) which has, for over two decades, worked to defame LGBT people with a variety of discredited myths and pseudoscience. FRC president Tony Perkins is the chair of Cruz’s advisory council and  has linked homosexuality to pedophilia, even claiming that LGBT people “recruit children.” Other FRC officials have over the years called for the deportation of LGBT people, claimed that LGBT households are “violent” and that LGBT people are sexual predators. The FRC website states that “homosexual conduct is harmful to the persons who engage in it and to society at large, and can never be affirmed.”

• FRC fellow Kenneth Blackwell is on Cruz’s new council and Rubio’s board. Blackwell has compared same-sex marriage to incest, suggested that transgender and bisexual people would use same-sex marriage to engage in polygamy, and tried to link a 2014 mass murder in California to attacks on “natural marriage.”

• Ryan Anderson, a research fellow at the Heritage Center, was also named to Cruz’s advisory council and Rubio’s board. Anderson is one of the young guns of the anti-LGBT movement who, though not as overt in his anti-LGBT sentiment, routinely traffics in anti-LGBT pseudoscience when speaking to national media. He has also written that the decriminalization of homosexuality helped lead to the Penn State molestation scandal in 2011 and commended a book that supported the criminalization of “sodomitical relationships.”

• Another member of Cruz’s council is pastor Jim Garlow, who was a major proponent behind California’s Proposition 8, which banned same-sex marriage in 2008. (It was later found unconstitutional in court.) Garlow has repeatedly linked gay marriage to Satan and held a conference at his Skyline megachurch in California in 2015 at which many speakers disparaged homosexuality as unhealthy and destructive.

• The Rubio campaign named Bradford Wilcox to their board. Wilcox, listed as senior fellow at the Institute for Family Studies and a visiting scholar at the American Enterprise Institute, is also the director of the National Marriage Project at the University of Virginia. Wilcox was instrumental in pushing the discredited anti-LGBT Regnerus study into the public square after he played a key role in the study’s development by recruiting Regnerus to do it, serving as a paid consultant, and possibly a peer reviewer.

• Everett Piper was also named to Cruz’s council and Rubio’s board. Piper is president of Oklahoma Wesleyan University and delivered the closing keynote address at the 2015 gathering of the anti-LGBT hate group World Congress of Families in Salt Lake City. At Garlow’s 2015 conference, Piper claimed that the LGBT rainbow flag had become “the dark flag of tyranny overnight.”

• Cruz has also brought in Kelly Shackelford of the Texas-based Liberty Institute, a legal firm that bills itself as fighting for “religious liberty.” In reality, the Liberty Institute works mostly against antidiscrimination ordinances and defends those who claim to have been hurt by them. Shackelford and the Institute peddle alleged anti-Christian incidents (many of which are false or misrepresented) to demonstrate the need for “religious liberty.”

• Carol Swain, a professor of political science and law at Vanderbilt University, also sits on Cruz’s new religious liberty advisory council. A self-described Christian evangelical, Swain garnered attention last year when she wrote an op-ed in the Tennessean claiming that Islam is not like other religions in the United States, and that it “poses an absolute danger to us and our children unless it is monitored better than it has been under the Obama administration.”

• Rubio’s board includes Joseph Backholm, executive director of the Family Policy Institute of Washington (FPIW), who worked in 2009 to prevent domestic partnership benefits from including same-sex couples. He also led the battle against same-sex marriage in Washington state through Preserve Marriage Washington. He has called marriage equality “wrong in the eternal sense” and said that once people realized how wrong it is, that is would be abandoned, like the ancient practice of bloodletting. One of the resources that the FPIW website listed with regard to same-sex marriage is an article (the link from the FPIW site is currently broken, but the article can be accessed here in some browsers) that includes the myths that gay people molest children at a higher rate than heterosexuals and that gay people are promiscuous.

• Caitlin La Ruffa, executive director of the Love and Fidelity Network, is also on Rubio’s board. The Network is geared toward helping college students “uphold the institution of marriage,” according to the group’s website. The site also states that “redefining” marriage to anything other than one man and one woman “jeopardizes the religious liberty” of those who “hold more traditional views on the family” and also causes children to suffer “from a weakening marriage culture.” Gay parents, the website adds, are denying a child of either a mother or a father, no matter a gay parent’s love and provision for that child and that the child would “do best” when raised by their married mother and father.

A.B.

'PASTOR PROTECTION ACT' PASSES FLORIDA LEGISLATURE

The Florida Legislature advanced a bill to Gov. Rick Scott's office Thursday that would legally protect churches from having to officiate same-sex marriages.

The so-called "Pastor Protection Act" passed 23-15 in the Florida Senate, according to the Tampa Bay Times. As we've explained before, the bill's purpose is questionable. The First Amendment already "prohibits the making of any law respecting an establishment of religion, impeding the free exercise of religion." But as the bill's sponsor Rep. Scott Plakon, R-Longwood, explains, it's not "reactionary, just an "extra layer of protection" for clergy afraid of compulsion into the Gay Agenda™.

The Times reports gay-rights groups did reach a compromise with lawmakers to limit the scope of the bill. Carlos Guillermo Smith, manager of Equality Florida’s Governmental Affairs, says in a statement

Citation:

“The most important agreement in these negotiations has been the firm commitment of the bill sponsors and legislative leadership that this bill will not be expanded to legalize discrimination in the ways we’ve seen unfold in other states. More than that, they agreed to amend the current bill to alleviate some of our previous concerns that vague or overly broad language might be used to hurt LGBT families. While we still believe this bill is an unnecessary duplication of existing law, we are pleased Florida will not go down the path of Georgia, where an expanded ‘pastor protection’ bill would allow LGBT people and others to be refused goods and services.”

MUSLIM MAN KIDNAPS CHRISTIAN GIRL AND MAKES HER INTO HER INTO SEX SLAVE, SHE ESCAPES BUT THE POLICE TAKE HER AND RETURN HER BACK TO THE MUSLIM MAN AND SAY THAT SHE MUST BE HIS SEX SLAVE

By Ted on March 21, 2016 in Featured, General

By Theodore Shoebat

A Muslim man in Pakistan kidnapped a Christian girl and made her into his sex slave. She managed to escape but the police have forced her back into sex slavery. As we read in one report:

Citation:

A Pakistani Christian mother who was kidnapped and forced into an Islamic marriage with her Muslim landlord and then escaped months later has been returned to her abductor by her own family in hopes that it will spare the rest of the family from extreme persecution and arrest.

As The Christian Post previously reported, Fouzia Sadiq, a 30-year-old mother of three whose entire family works as bonded laborers in Pattoki, was abducted last July by her Muslim landlord named Muhammed Nazir.

Although Fouzia’s brother, Paris, went looking for her at Nazir’s house, he was told that Fouzia had entered into a marriage with Nazir and that she was now his property.

After months of Fouzia being held captive by Nazir, the family devised a plan to help Fouzia escape. And in February, Fouzia fled from the clutches of her abductor.

After Fouzia escaped, Nazir responded by filing a police report accusing Fouzia of stealing jewelry. On the day of Fauzia’s escape, police officers went to her family’s home at a time when only her elderly father was there and threatened to arrest a member of the family if Fouzia was not returned to Nazir.

At the time, the humanitarian organization British Pakistani Christian Association stated that if the police had caught Fouzia’s brother, he likely would have been tortured or killed. And If the police had caught Fouzia’s younger sister, she likely would have been taken to Nazir as consolation.

The BPCA offered to house Fouzia, her brother and sister in a safehouse inside Pakistan and even filed inquiries with the British Embassy and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees requesting asylum for Fouzia, her brother and sister.

Unfortunately, the British High Commission in Pakistan replied saying that asylum could not be offered because protocol doesn’t allow for consideration of asylum applications lodged abroad. Additionally, the U.N. High Commission for Refugees did not respond to the BPCA inquiry.

As BPCA was not able to procure rental property inside Pakistan fast enough and asked the family to stay with another persecuted Christian family in a house inside Pakistan, the family decided it would be in the best interest of the entire family to return Fouzia to Nazir so that Paris and other members of the family don’t face severe persecution or arrest.

“This family has gone through a torturous decision making process,” BPCA President Wilson Chowdhry told CP in an email Monday.

“They have not wanted to deliver their daughter back but the threats on their family were so extreme, including potential blasphemy law allegations and kidnap charges against Paris the brother of Fouzia, that they felt there was no other way out,” Chowdhry said. “This was an extremely low point for the BPCA and despite our remonstrations they went ahead with this plan of action completely sapped of any morale. We offered a home and much more support but the family chose to stay with an uncle rather than inconvenience the family whose home we were asking them share, whilst we sourced a more permanent safe house.”

NFL JOINS FORCES WITH HOMOSEXUAL ELITES TO DISCRIMINATE AGAINST CHRISTIANS

MADISON, Wis., March 21, 2016 /Christian Newswire/ -- The NFL is coming against the state of Georgia for potentially passing a bill that would protect Christians who do not support gay marriage. The NFL is joined by the NBA and NCAA.

The NFL is threatening to move a potential Super Bowl from Georgia to another state if the bill is passed. NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy and Atlanta Falcon's owner Arthur Blank are trying to stop House Bill 757 that would protect Christians.

The bill has passed both houses of the Georgia Legislature, but has not been signed by Republican Gov. Nathan Deal. Many Georgia businesses are against the bill including Delta Airlines, Coca-Cola, Google, Home Depot, Porsche, and Wells Fargo.

"This is another example of the gay agenda coming out against Christians," states 4 Winds Christian Athletics president Steve McConkey. "The NFL and other sport associations, plus big business, are joining forces with the gay elite establishment to penalize Christians if they do not support homosexuality. This is an attack on Christian freedom."

4 Winds Christian Athletics is a sports ministry located near the University of Wisconsin football stadium in Madison. They stand up for Christian athletes worldwide.

In 2003, Steve McConkey was the only sports minister publicly standing against the International Olympic Committee for allowing transgenders in the Olympics. He has publicly opposed the International Olympic Committee, USA Olympic Committee, NCAA, and other associations for their support of homosexuality.

McConkey recently protested the IOC because they changed their transgender policies to allow men to compete as women with only a year of hormone therapy, reversing the 2003 rule requiring surgery and two years of hormone therapy.

Steve McConkey is the president of 4 WINDS (4 Winds Christian Athletics), a sports ministry that stands up for Christian athletes. Steve regularly appears on worldwide radio and is frequently quoted in articles throughout the world. He has a Master of Public Health from Western Kentucky University with honors and a BS-Public Health from Minnesota State University, Mankato with honors. Steve and his wife started in world-class track and field ministries in 1981 and expanded to all sports in 2014. Ministry headquarters have been in Eugene, Dallas-Fort Worth, Minneapolis-St. Paul, and now Madison, Wisconsin. Steve was born in Des Moines, Iowa, but moved to NW Wisconsin after the sixth grade. He became a Christian after reading the Bible as an undergraduate. 4 WINDS produces BigPlanetWatch.com and TrackandFieldReport.com.

You will not terrorize me.

ISRAEL INVESTING NEARLY $3 MILLION IN LGBT TOURISM

TEL AVIV – Israel’s Ministry of Tourism will invest NIS 11 million ($2.9 million) to promote LGBT tourism to the Jewish state.

The campaign will promote Israel as a liberal country that embraces members of the global LGBT community, and is aimed at increasing gay tourism throughout the year, not just during Pride events in June.

“We’re building a plan for a long-term strategy,” said Israel’s Tourism Minister Yariv Levin. “Different organizations that we work with have marked the LGBT community as one that has significant potential for growth, and I certainly want to break into larger numbers than we have today.”

Israeli drag queen Arie Oshri was recruited to promote Israel at the world’s largest tourism convention, ITB (Internationale Tourismus-Börse Berlin), which took place in Berlin at the beginning of March.

“Tel Aviv has a lot to offer the gay crowd, and they are beginning to understand this in Israel,” Oshri said.

Since the ministry began promoting Tel Aviv as a liberal city about a decade ago, LGBT tourism has grown a hundred-fold and remains generally less affected by security and economic concerns than other forms of tourism.

NSA MID-SOUTH CONDUCTS NEW CHART THE COURSE TRAINING

Story Number: NNS160405-25Release Date: 4/5/2016 2:46:00 PM

By Mass Communication Specialist 3rd Class Jamal McNeill, Navy Office of Community Outreach

MILLINGTON, Tenn. (NNS) -- From the sandy beaches of Hawaii to the wooded mountains of the Appalachians; from sunny California to the Philippine Islands, U.S. Navy Sailors come from all walks of life, making it one of the most diverse organizations in the world.

The Navy embraces this diversity by requiring its Sailors to complete yearly trainings on diversity, cultural, gender, and religious differences, and several other topics and issues that can cause conflict in the work environment.

This year is no different as Chief of Naval Personnel has implemented a new required training called "Chart the Course."

Naval Support Activity Mid-South Command Master Chief Marilyn Kennard from Bessemer, Alabama, along with Mass Communication Specialist 1st Class Jeffry Atherton from Evansville, Indiana, recently facilitated the new Chart the Course training at the base.

The new Chart the Course training correlates to the 21st Century Sailor program and continues the Navy's efforts to combat destructive behaviors across the fleet, while reinforcing and building upon the Navy Core Values and Navy Ethos.

"One thing that I like to instill and teach at my commands, is to treat everyone with dignity, respect and how you would want others to treat you," said Kennard. "This training aligns with what I like my command atmosphere to be like and what I have experienced since reporting to NSA Mid-South."

Chart the Course highlights many issues faced by Sailors, where both simple and complex decisions may need to be made, and the subsequent impact and potential consequences of those decisions.

"This training will place Sailors in more real-life situations that could occur in the fleet versus using a slide show to explain guidelines," said Kennard. "Chart the Course actually takes scenarios and makes them a reality so Sailors can see how good or bad decisions are made in theses situations and how they impact themselves, shipmates, and the fleet in a negative or positive manner."

While there are several programs, trainings, and guidelines similar to this new training, Chart the Course is considered to be a more relatable and realistic training.

"This training was a lot more interactive than the traditional slide show that gives us the objectives of our training," said Religious Programs Specialist 2nd Class Amanda Braly, from Wasilla, Alaska. "The videos during the training were more relatable than previous trainings. It used updated terminology and situations that were realistic to what can happen in the fleet."

Braly also took away some valuable lessons that Kennard and the Navy would want all Sailors to gain from this training.

"This training showed me how to be a better Sailor and professional no matter where you are," said Braly. "As Sailors, we have to make sure we are making the right decision no matter how little or big they may be and think about consequences. Our decisions not only affect us, but [they also] affect everyone around us."

Chart the Course training is conducted by command facilitators selected by individual commands. Since she is already certified to instruct Bystander Intervention training, Kennard and other previously certified command facilitators are automatically certified to instruct Chart the Course training because of the similar training methods.

This training also fulfills General Military Training requirements for Hazing; Operational Risk Management; and Alcohol, Drug, and Tobacco Awareness Command-Assigned Readiness-Enhancement.

All Sailors must complete the Chart the Course training before Sept. 30. However, Kennard doesn't want commands to delay the training.

"My goal for our command is to be finished way before the deadline," said Kennard. "We will also do make-up training for Sailors who may report in later in the year and closer to the deadline."

Commands may access Chart the Course training information via the NPC 21st Century Sailor webpage at http://www.public.navy.mil/bupers-npc/support/21st_century_sailor/pages/def…

CHRISTIAN CHURCHES  ‘MUST BE MADE’ TO AFFIRM HOMOSEXUALITY, SAYS NEW YORK TIMES COLUMNIST

NEW YORK, April 7, 2015 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A New York Times columnist and a corporate leader have agreed that Christian churches “must” be convinced, or coerced, to change their teachings on sexual morality and abandon an “ossified” doctrinal teaching that sex outside heterosexual marriage is immoral.

Frank Bruni wrote that traditional Christianity – whether among evangelicals, Catholics, or Orthodox – provides the greatest resistance to normalizing homosexuality in the United States in a recent column in the New York Times.

“Homosexuality and Christianity don’t have to be in conflict in any church anywhere,” Bruni insisted. “The continued view of gays, lesbians and bisexuals as sinners is a decision. It’s a choice. It prioritizes scattered passages of ancient texts over all that has been learned since — as if time had stood still, as if the advances of science and knowledge meant nothing.”

Bruni quoted furniture tycoon Mitchell Gold, who has used his millions to found a liberal pressure group Faith in America, writing that Gold believes Christian churches “must be made 'to take homosexuality off the sin list.'”

“His commandment is worthy — and warranted,” Bruni added.

The column sparked outrage at the notion that a successful businessman and an op-ed writer could induce the Christian Church to ignore a 2,000-year-old dogma.

Noting Bruni's column at The American Conservative, Rod Dreher wrote that he would find a conservative columnist lecturing liberal denominations that they “must” change their moral theology equally “appalling” as an act of imposition.

“But of course nobody on that side seems to have the slightest doubt about their cause, their motives, or their methods. None,” he wrote. “In a holy war, there is no room for doubt.”

A number of mainline Protestant churches have, in effect, taken Gold's advice, condoning – if not celebrating – homosexuality and allowing sexually active homosexuals to be ordained as pastors.

The Episcopal Church saw its membership decline by half-a-million people between 2002 and 2012. After changing its views of homosexuals, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) lost more than 600,000 people – in excess of 12 percent of its total members – in just three years. The first mainline church to allow for homosexual ordination, the United Church of Christ (UCC), lost 350 congregations within three years of its 2004 decision.

But even refraining from calling same-sex relations a sin – or, in the words of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, “intrinsically disordered” – is not enough for the modern LGBT movement.

“The LGBT militants are not asking to be left alone,” said former Reagan administration adviser Pat Buchanan, a co-founder of The American Conservative.

“They are demanding that we accept the morality of homosexuality and same-sex marriages, and manifest that acceptance, under pain of law and sanctions, in our daily lives.”

Buchanan said during an interview with WND.com that orthodox Christian churches must have one response to demands that they alter their teachings to fit the modern zeitgeist: “The answer is no. If it comes to civil disobedience, so be it.”

Buchanan's statement came as a number of prominent evangelical Christian leaders have called for open acts of nonviolent resistance if the Supreme Court forces states to accept homosexual “marriages” this summer.

FRANCE : LA PENALISATION DES CLIENTS DEFINITIVEMENT VOTEE

 Hier
7-04-2016

twitter-tweet a écrit:

— Manuel Valls (@manuelvalls) 6 avril 2016

French MPs have given the green light to a law that allows the authorities to fine the clients of prostitutes, according to media reports.

A controversial law that makes it illegal to pay for sex has been passed by French lawmakers; the law imposes fines of up to 3,750 euros (4,270 dollars) on prostitutes' clients and mandates that they attend classes on "the harms of prostitution."

Socialist lawmaker Maud Olivier, a feminist who added significantly to the adoption of the bill, was quoted by the news agency AFP as saying that the law is part of measures aimed at tackling prostitution.

"This law is essential to ending the idea that it is normal to buy someone's body. We will succeed in changing the mentality, but new efforts are needed to raise awareness, to train police officers and magistrates," Olivier said.

During the final debate on the bill, about 60 sex workers staged a protest rally outside a parliament building, news reports said, adding that the law is expected to affect the livelihoods of at least 30,000 prostitutes in France.

POPE TO CHURCH : BE MORE ACCEPTING OF DIVORCED CATHOLICS, GAYS AND LESBIANS

Pope Francis urges greater acceptance of homosexuals 01:50

  • He urges priests to be more accepting of gays, divorced Catholics, "irregular" situations
  • Pope: "The divorced who have entered a new union should be made to feel part" of church
(CNN)Pope Francis put his shoulder to the doors of the Catholic Church and shoved them open a little wider Friday, calling for the church to be more tolerant in practice while not changing any official doctrines.

He urged priests around the world to be more accepting of gays and lesbians, divorced Catholics and other people living in what the church considers "irregular" situations.

"A pastor cannot feel that it is enough simply to apply moral laws ... as if they were stones to throw at people's lives," Francis writes in a sweeping paper outlining his stance on family matters.

He urges more common sense and less unthinking following of rules.

"By thinking that everything is black and white, we sometimes close off the way of grace and growth," he writes.

He emphasizes that "unjust discrimination" against gays and lesbians is unacceptable, downplays the idea of "living in sin" and suggests that priests should use their own discretion on whether divorced Catholics in new marriages can take Communion.

Path of Jesus

The paper has much to please both liberals and conservatives, though it is unlikely to go far enough for either group within the church.

"I understand those who prefer a more rigorous pastoral care which leaves no room for confusion. But I sincerely believe that Jesus wants a Church attentive to the goodness which the Holy Spirit sows in the midst of human weakness," he writes.

The statements appear in a highly anticipated paper called "On Love in the Family" in English and "Amoris Laetitia" in Latin. Running more than 260 pages, it comes after Francis summoned the world's Catholic bishops twice to discuss the issues in conferences known as synods.

The first was in October 2014, and the second was a year later.

Francis has been working on the document since then.

The October 2015 synod in particular was reported to have been contentious, with Cardinal George Pell -- who is close to Pope Francis -- telling a Catholic newspaper that some of the debates were "spicy."

But Cardinal Donald Wuerl of Washington wrote Friday that "Amoris Laetitia" "reflects the consensus of those meetings and many voices."

A 'groundbreaking new document'

For those paying attention to Francis since he became Pope three years ago, the opinions in the paper are unlikely to come as a surprise.

This is, after all, the Pope who said, "Who am I to judge?" when asked about homosexuality.

The Pope said what?!?

But Friday's paper is not simply a remark made in an interview.

It's what's called an "apostolic exhortation."

That means it is an official statement from the Pope on how Catholics should live their lives. It's the second exhortation Francis has issued since taking the throne of St. Peter, and the first based entirely on synods he summoned himself.

His aim "is to help families -- in fact, everyone -- experience God's love and know that they are welcome members of the church," said the Rev. James Martin, a Jesuit priest and writer who called the paper a "groundbreaking new document."

On divorced Catholics, whose religious lives Francis has made it a priority to ease, the Pope writes: "The divorced who have entered a new union should be made to feel part of the Church."

"It can no longer simply be said that all those living in any 'irregular situation' are living in a state of mortal sin."
Shift on divorce

Francis has pushed to make it easier for Catholic couples to get an annulment of their marriages. That allows them to continue to participate fully in church life if they remarry, including taking the sacrament of Communion.

He does not say explicitly in Friday's paper that divorced Catholics should be allowed to take Communion, Martin observed.

"The reception of Communion is not spelled out here, but that is a traditional aspect of 'participation' in church life," Martin said.

The Pope does not change Catholic doctrine on homosexuality, marriage, birth control or abortion in the paper.

In fact, he reiterates that marriage between a man and a woman remains the Catholic ideal, superior to other forms of union.

"In order to avoid all misunderstanding, I would point out that in no way must the Church desist from proposing the full idea of marriage," he writes.

A "great variety of family situations ... can offer a certain stability, but de facto or same-sex unions, for example, may not simply be equated with marriage," he says.

And he holds the line against artificial birth control, rejecting the phrase "safe sex."

The very wording, he says, operates as if "an eventual child were an enemy to be protected against."

More tolerance, less judgment

But he calls much more for tolerance and mercy than for judgment in the paper.

"There is no stereotype of the ideal family, but rather a challenging mosaic made up of many different realities, with all their joys, hopes and problems," he writes.

"Every person, regardless of sexual orientation, ought to be respected in his or her dignity and treated with consideration."

There are about 1.2 billion Roman Catholics around the world, the Vatican calculates. That's a little more than half the world's Christians, according to the Pew Research Center, a think tank in Washington.

The Catholic population in the so-called global South is growing in influence. Pope Francis is a reflection of that trend -- he's from Argentina, making him the first Pope from the region.

The Pope tells priests that they should make decisions appropriate to their local conditions.

"Each country or region ... can seek solutions better suited to its culture and sensitive to its traditions and local needs," he writes in a possible effort to satisfy both liberals and conservatives by decentralizing authority.

He tries to take the heat out of the culture wars by admitting a measure of Catholic responsibility for them.

"At times the way we present our Christian beliefs and treat other people has helped to contribute to today's problematic situation," he writes.

In addition to the many sections of the paper that will be seen as statements of Vatican policy, it also explores the practical problems that married couples face and advises them to work through them together.

And Francis allows a little poetry to seep into the document, too, writing: "Young love needs to keep dancing towards the future with immense hope."

It's hard to change the Catholic Church, even if you're the Pope

ILLINOIS BED AND BREAKFAST ORDERED TO PAY $80,000 FOR DECLINING TO HOST ‘GAY’ CIVIL UNION CEREMONY

By Heather Clark on March 30, 2016

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — The owners of a bed and breakfast in Illinois have been ordered to pay $80,000 after they declined to host a civil union ceremony for two homosexual men on the premises, and have been mandated to facilitate a celebration for the men at their facility within one year.

TimberCreek Bed and Breakfast in Paxton, Illinois is “an upscale Christian country bed and breakfast,” according to its website, and is situated in the midst of a small farming community. Owners Jim and Beth Walder also host church retreats, baby and bridal showers, business meetings and other events at the facility.

In 2011, Todd Wathen contacted TimberCreek via email to inquire if the bed and breakfast would be hosting civil union ceremonies after Illinois approved the unions that year via the “Religious Freedom Protection and Civil Union Act.” Jim Walder replied that the facility had no such plans, and advised Wathen that “homosexuality is immoral and unnatural,” and that “it’s not too late to change your behavior.”

Three days later, Wathen filed a discrimination complaint with the Illinois Human Rights Commission. The American Civil Liberties Union of Illinois (ACLU) also soon became involved and sought emotional damages for Wathen and his partner, Mark.

Now, Michael Robinson, an administrative law judge appointed by the Commission, has ordered Walder to pay $30,000 in damages to the men ($15,000 each), as well as $50,000 in attorney’s fees and more than $1,200 in costs.

Robinson also mandated that Walder follow the Illinois Human Rights Act by not declining further events, and that he additionally host Wathen’s celebration at the bed and breakfast within one year. The two men held a ceremony in their yard in 2011 after being declined; they did not seek other facilities as alternatives.

“We are very happy that no other couple will have to experience what we experienced by being turned away and belittled and criticized for who we are,” Wathen told reporters this week. “In addition, the monetary award represents a recognition by the judge that Mark and I suffered a real harm—that we were embarrassed and humiliated.”

However, in a statement issued to the Ford County Record, Walder has stated that he cannot comply with the order.

“To be absolutely clear, we cannot host a same-sex wedding even though fines and penalties have been imposed by the Illinois Human Rights Commission,” he said. “Our policy will not be changing.”

The Walders

“We are not looking for a fight, but when immoral laws are purposely passed (or deemed constitutional) that blatantly conflict with God’s word, and when the heavy hand of government tries to force us as Christians to embrace sinful behavior, we have a moral obligation to resist and stand for biblical truth,” Okay Walder stated, quoting from Acts 5:29, which reads, “It is better to obey God than men.”

TimberCreek’s website further outlines that the Walders hold no malice toward those who identify as homosexuals, but that they cannot be personal participants and facilitators of other men’s sins.

“It is not an issue of fairness or equality, but an issue of right and wrong. We cannot be part of what God condemns,” it states. “Be assured that we are not lawless, hateful, judgmental, bigoted, or activists by any definition. We did not initiate the present controversy. We are not the ones who voted to change the 6,000 year-old definition of marriage. We are just small business owners trying to be consistent in following God’s word and living it out practically in our lives.” Okay

“[The homosexual agenda] uses anti-discrimination laws as a bully club when dissenting Americans disagree with men trying to marry men, women marrying women, men changing to women, and women changing to men,” the site reads. “It basically says that God is confused by marriage, family and sexuality and that we need to correct His mistakes.”

Rock legend Bruce Springsteen said Friday he is canceling a scheduled weekend show in Greensboro, N.C., to protest North Carolina’s new law that halts antidiscrimination protections for lesbian, gay and transgender people.

“To my mind, it’s an attempt by people who cannot stand the progress our country has made in recognizing the human rights of all of our citizens to overturn that progress,” Mr. Springsteen said of the North Carolina law, in a statement posted on his website.

Proponents of the five-page North Carolina law, including North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory, say the legislation was meant to combat a new Charlotte ordinance that would have allowed transgender people to use the public bathroom of the gender with which they identify. The state law requires people to use the bathroom corresponding with the sex on their birth certificate.

Supporters of the state law say the Charlotte ordinance would have compromised public safety and described it as a measure that would strengthen the state’s business climate. They include the N.C. Sheriff’s Association and the North Carolina Values Coalition, a conservative group in the state.

Mr. McCrory, who signed the legislation last month after it sailed quickly through the legislature, didn’t respond immediately to a request for comment late Friday. Earlier, his office said he had canceled all events for Friday and Saturday while he rests to manage a long-running viral infection.

Opponents of the law have decried it as discriminatory, and have also criticized it for taking away citizens’ right to sue in state court over wrongful termination on the basis of discrimination. In his statement, Mr. Springsteen said he and the E Street Band won’t play Greensboro on Sunday while apologizing to fans. Tickets will be refunded. He was scheduled to play at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex, which also posted the cancellation notice.

“Some things are more important than a rock show and this fight against prejudice and bigotry—which is happening as I write—is one of them,” he said.

On Tuesday, online-payment company PayPal Holdings Inc. called off plans to open a new, 400-employee global operations center in Charlotte because of the new law. Many other large businesses have also protested, and several cities and towns from elsewhere in the U.S. have banned official travel to the state.

POPE FRANCIS GIVES AN ‘APOSTOLIC EXHORTATION’ TO ACCEPT THE OPEN HOMOSEXUAL IN CATHOLIC CHURCH

Pope Francis emphasizes that "unjust discrimination" against gay men and lesbians is unacceptable, downplays the idea of "living in sin," and suggests that priests should use their own discretion on whether divorced Catholics in new marriages can take Communion.

by Geoffrey Grider April 8, 2016

Pope Francis put his shoulder to the doors of the Catholic Church and shoved them open a little wider Friday, calling for the church to be more tolerant in practice, while not changing any official doctrines.

“For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.” Romans 1:26,27 (KJV)

EDITOR’S NOTE: The Catholic Church brags that it  never changes, and on some levels we agree with that statement. They were wrong from the moment they were founded by Constantine in 325 AD, and have never been right. But in practical terms, the Roman harlot is changing dramatically as Pope Francis is steadily and firmly letting Catholics know that in the “new” Catholic church, the ‘out-and-active’ LGBT will be welcome with open arms. The Vatican’s official line is that this is ‘not a change of church doctrine’, but it absolutely is. The One World Church is coming together rapidly.

Pope Francis urged priests around the world to be more accepting of gay men and lesbians, divorced Catholics and other people living in what the church considers “irregular” situations. “A pastor cannot feel that it is enough simply to apply moral laws … as if they were stones to throw at people’s lives,” Francis writes in a sweeping paper outlining his stance on family matters. He urges more common sense and less unthinking following of rules.

Pope Francis Comments on Gay Priests, Homosexuality: ‘Who Am I to Judge’

By thinking that everything is black and white, we sometimes close off the way of grace and growth,” he writes. He emphasizes that “unjust discrimination” against gay men and lesbians is unacceptable, downplays the idea of “living in sin,” and suggests that priests should use their own discretion on whether divorced Catholics in new marriages can take Communion.

The paper has much to please both liberals and conservatives, though it may not go far enough for either group within the church.

“I understand those who prefer a more rigorous pastoral care which leaves no room for confusion. But I sincerely believe that Jesus wants a Church attentive to the goodness which the Holy Spirit sows in the midst of human weakness,” he writes. The statements come in a highly anticipated paper called “On Love in the Family,” or “Amoris Laetitia” in Latin.

Running more than 260 pages, it comes after Francis summoned the world’s Catholic bishops twice to discuss the issues in conferences known as synods. The first was in October 2014, and the second was a year later. Francis has been working on the document since then.

For those paying attention to Francis since he became pope three years ago, the opinions in the paper are unlikely to come as a surprise.

This is, after all, the pope who said, “Who am I to judge?” when asked about homosexuality. The Pope said what?!? But Friday’s paper is not simply a remark made in an interview. It’s what’s called an “apostolic exhortation.”

That means it is an official statement from the Pope on how Catholics should live their lives. It’s the second exhortation Francis has issued since taking the throne of St. Peter, and the first based entirely on synods he summoned himself.

His aim “is to help families — in fact, everyone — experience God’s love and know that they are welcome members of the church,” said the Rev. James Martin, a Jesuit priest and writer who called the paper a “groundbreaking new document.” On divorced Catholics, whose religious lives Francis has made it a priority to ease, the Pope writes: “The divorced who have entered a new union should be made to feel part of the Church.”

It can no longer simply be said that all those living in any ‘irregular situation’ are living in a state of mortal sin,” he writessource

CIRQUE DU SOLEIL CANCELS NORTH CAROLINA SHOWS OVER PUBLIC FACILITIES ACT  — PLANS SHOWS IN DUBAI, WHERE GAYS ARE PUT TO DEATH

Canada-based circus and theater entertainment company Cirque du Soleil has canceled its upcoming shows in Greensboro, Charlotte, and Raleigh in North Carolina to protest the state’s Public Facilities Privacy and Security Act.

“Cirque du Soleil strongly believes in diversity and equality for every individual and is opposed to discrimination in any form,” the group announced Friday in a press release. “The new HB2 legislation passed in North Carolina is an important regression to ensuring human rights for all.”

Cirque du Soleil’s North Carolina cancelation comes as a growing number of artists and entertainers abandon their respective performances in the state to protest of the Public Facilities Privacy & Security Act.

The world-famous circus, however, has not canceled its upcoming performances in the United Arab Emirates of Dubai.

Indeed, Cirque du Solei has a planned production, Varekai, scheduled to run from September 16 to 24 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The United Arab Emirates of Dubai has outlawed same-sex marriage, sex or gender reassignment surgery, adoption by same-sex couples, openly gay and lesbian military service, with the aforementioned being punishable by death, fines, or imprisonment.

In fact, Cirque du Solei has performed for years in the anti-LBGT United Arab Emirates, including Michael Jackson: The Immortal Tour in 2014, Dralion in 2013, Alegria in 2009, and Quidam in 2006.

“Over the past years, Cirque du Soleil has had shows in various countries such as United Arab Emirates,” the Cirque du Solei website proudly states.

While calling North Carolina’s Public Facilities Privacy & Security Act “an important regression to ensuring human rights for all,” it’s unclear if Cirque du Soleil plans to cancel its upcoming shows in nations that put homosexuals to death.

BREAKING : OBAMA ISSUES CHILLING THREAT TO CHRISTIANS ACROSS AMERICA... SPREAD THIS EVERYWHERE

September 29, 2015

CONSERVATIVE TRIBUNE

Once Pope Francis boarded a plane back to the Vatican, President Barack Obama wasted not time getting back to business as usual — attacking religious freedom.
On Sunday night, at a Democratic National Committee-sponsored event in New York City billed as an “LGBT gala,” Obama took to the podium and warned Christians across the country that their religious freedom means nothing in the face of gay rights.

“We affirm that we cherish our religious freedom and are profoundly respectful of religious traditions,” the POTUS said. “But we also have to say clearly that our religious freedom doesn’t grant us the freedom to deny our fellow Americans their constitutional rights.”

Obama patronized Christians and Christian groups about their “genuine concerns,” but ultimately suggested that the issue was being pushed by Republicans who were simply using the concerns to acquire more votes.

“America has left the leaders of the Republican Party behind,” Obama said during his anti-Christianity speech. He’s made quite a few of those now.
Obama then launched a series of verbal assaults on several GOP presidential candidates, including Dr. Ben Carson, Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee.

“I’m sure he loves the Constitution — except for Article III,” Obama said in a sarcastic tone, referring to Huckabee. “And maybe the Equal Protection Amendment. And 14th Amendment, generally.”

After thoroughly trashing Christians everywhere and essentially promising that their religious liberty would not be recognized under his rule, he called for the LGBT community to remain vigilant and assured them he would continue to fight for “progress.”

If this isn’t a clear warning sign for American Christians, we don’t know what is.

CONGRESS THREATENS FUNDING FOR CHILD-RAPING UN "PEACE" TROOPS

Written by  Alex Newman

If United Nations “peacekeeping” troops were on their way to the United States, at least one U.S. senator would be on the first plane home to protect his family from them. His concern: the apparently never-ending supply of rapists, predators, and child molesters among the UN's disgraced military forces.

That was the message delivered this week by U.S. Senator Bob Corker (R-Tenn.), the powerful chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, during a hearing looking at the UN's response — mostly persecuting those who blow the whistle — to the growing scandal surrounding predatory UN soldiers who rape women and children worldwide with impunity. If something does not change, U.S. lawmakers said the UN may lose American taxpayer support for its Obama-backed “peace” armies. But even that is not enough.

Horrifying UN abuse of civilians is not new. Indeed, going back to the earliest of the UN “peace” missions, UN troops brutalized and slaughtered aid workers and the civilian population of Katanga when the province refused to submit to a UN- Soviet-backed communist dictator. More recently, a decade-old survey by the non-profit group Save the Children revealed that in one town in Ivory Coast, eight out of 10 underage girls were being raped and sexually exploited by UN forces occupying the nation. Across Africa, the Americas, Asia, and even the Balkans in Europe, UN troops have been exposed being involved in systematic abuses of women and children, ranging from rape and killing protesters to sex-slavery and human trafficking. Virtually nobody, top to bottom, has been held accountable.

The Senate hearing this week focused primarily on abuses perpetrated by international troops in the Central African Republic. The New American and other sources have been reporting on new cases of rape and exploitation by “peace” troops that have been surfacing at an astounding pace. When a whistle-blower handed documents about the horrors to French prosecutors, including the rape of children under 10 years old, the UN went ballistic — but not how you might think.

Instead of cracking down on the heavily armed perverts and predators wearing the UN's infamous “blue helmets,” it launched an “investigation” of the brave official who exposed it, Anders Kompass, and even had him escorted from his office under armed guard. Leaked e-mails later exposed top UN officials conspiring at a secret meeting in Turin, Italy, to silence and destroy the whistle-blower. Since then, dozens more cases of “peacekeeper” rape and sexual abuse of women and children have surfaced, and nobody appears to have been held accountable.

At another recent congressional hearing on UN abuses, U.S. lawmakers told The New American that the UN's persecution of whistle-blowers in that case and others was unacceptable and would be dealt with, potentially by withholding funding from the UN if necessary. Several current and former UN officials, meanwhile, have told The New American that the responsibility for the abuse scandals and the lawless persecution of honest officials goes straight to UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon. It appears more than a few lawmakers agreed. Sen. Corker, for example, blasted Ban as “inept” in the handling of the sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) scandals. American taxpayers pay more than anyone, contributing more than a fourth of the UN's almost $10 billion “peacekeeping” budget.

Echoing widespread concerns around the world, Corker also hinted at just how the scandals have affected the public view of UN “peace” troops in America and worldwide. “If I heard right now that a UN peacekeeping mission was going to North Chattanooga today, which is where my wife is, I would be on the first plane out of here to go home and protect her,” he explained in comments during the hearing that were also posted in a press release on his official website. “I would drop what I was doing. I would take the next flight home.”

Corker also suggested that something needed to be done, and expressed hope that lawmakers and U.S. authorities could find a way to stop the abuse. “I am disgusted by the actions of UN peacekeepers that American taxpayers are paying for, and I hope that somehow we’ll figure out a way to reel this in,” said the senator, whose cumulative Freedom Index score is 66 percent.

The committee chairman appeared especially outraged with UN chief Ban, who has done little so far to halt the brutality and horrors perpetrated by troops under his command. “What is wrong with the secretary-general of the UN?” Corker fumed during the hearing. “How do we put up with such inept leadership at the United Nations?” He pointed to a 10-year-old report offering recommendations for dealing with the systemic problem of predatory child-raping troops, and noted that the proposals were only now being implemented.

In the House of Representatives, the subcommittee on International Affairs held a similar hearing on UN “peacekeeper” rape and abuse at the same time. Congressman Chris Smith (R-N.J.), who chaired the hearing, recalled taking part in a hearing on the exact same subject a decade ago. He said supposed protectors should never be predators. At a hearing last month on UN persecution of whistle-blowers, Smith told The New American that Congress was aware of the abuses and was willing to use funding as leverage to rein in the UN. So far, though, little serious action has been forthcoming.

A spokesman for UN boss Ban, Stéphane Dujarric, acknowledged over 100 recently uncovered allegations of sexual abuse against UN forces. “I would not be surprised if that number goes up a bit,” he added. However, he also played defense for Ban and the UN, saying his boss was “determined to continue to shine a spotlight on the scourge of sexual exploitation and abuse by peacekeepers and hold those responsible accountable.” Dujarric also said no one person could lead the fight alone, though current and former UN officials and lawmakers have put the blame on Ban for the scandals. It is true, though, that the problems predate Ban's scandal-plagued tenure by generations.

The UN said “peacekeeping” troops supplied by the regimes ruling South Africa, Morocco, and the Democratic Republic of Congo were those most often implicated in the abuses. French forces have also been involved in the scandals, despite UN efforts to cover up the abuses and persecute those who blew the whistle on it. Part of the supposed approach to stopping the problem of predatory UN troops, which has plagued the UN since its earliest “peace” missions, is to “name and shame” the governments whose troops rape, abuse, and terrorize civilians. But so far, the strategy has had essentially no impact, according to critics.

Among those testifying at the hearings was UN whistle-blower Miranda Brown, a former senior official with the UN “Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights,” which often investigates (and covers up) the abuses. She noted that the problem of sexual abuse by UN forces is “vastly under-reported, with bottlenecks for reporting at various stages inside and outside the UN.” In other words, the ghastly horrors that the public knows about are just the tip of the iceberg of savage UN abuses against civilians.

The former UN official also told lawmakers that those in charge of investigating the abuses fear for their own job security and even their physical safety. Brown lost her job at the UN office after supporting Kompass, the UN official who first blew the whistle on child-raping UN troops in the Central African Republic. Despite a global outcry over the scandals and persecution of whistle-blowers, including involvement by the U.S. Congress, Brown has still not been reinstated at her job. She said the persecution of Kompass and other whistle-blowers “is having and will continue to have a serious chilling effect on the reporting of abuses in peacekeeping missions.” Perhaps that was the point.

Obama administration officials did acknowledge the enormity of the problem. Ambassador Isobel Coleman, who handles UN management and reform issues at the U.S. government's mission to the UN, noted that the “the culture of impunity” in what the UN calls “peacekeeping” has “persisted for too long.” She also said she did not think “ineptitude” was the problem, but rather, an unwillingness to hold predators and criminals accountable. But she claimed the Obama administration, which despite the abuse has for years been working to super-size the UN's military, was working to do that.

In one of his speeches outlining what he called a “New World Order,” then-President George H.W. Bush said a “credible United Nations can use its peacekeeping role to fulfill the promise and vision of the UN's founders.” On the American side, the top “UN founder,” who went on to become the UN's first secretary general, was Alger Hiss. He was ultimately convicted for lying about being a Soviet spy. The murderous regime in Moscow was also among the key "UN founders."

Today, little has changed. The scandal surrounding child-raping UN forces and Ban's handling of his predatory troops comes as the UN's member governments and dictatorships work on selecting the next secretary-general. The current frontrunner, as described by establishment media outlets and the expensive PR operation behind the campaign, is Bulgarian Communist Irina Bokova, who as The New American reported this month, has surrounded herself with known former spies and agents for the mass-murdering regime that enslaved Bulgaria and murdered hundreds of thousands of people in the process. Ban, meanwhile, recently celebrated child rapist and homosexual activist Harvey Milk, some of whose underage victims went on to commit suicide, as a human rights hero.

Why humanity would want a “New World Order” based on the vision of the UN's founders, as Bush put it, or its current leaders and members, implemented at the barrel of a predatory UN “peace” army's gun, remains officially unexplained by NWO promoters from both parties. But it should nevertheless trouble anyone and everyone who values liberty and human decency.

The globalist establishment behind the UN has proposed giving the UN even more power as a way of supposedly dealing with its child-raping armies and the impunity that surrounds them. Writing in Newsweek and on the globalist Council on Foreign Relations' website, Stewart Patrick, the CFR director of International Institutions and Global Governance, even claimed the UN should be given its own court system with the power to prosecute even American troops. The Obama administration has also been working overtime to increase the power, weaponry, prestige, and funding for the UN's disgraced military, even as the sexual scandals continue to grow.

Of course, giving the “dictators club” more power to reward it for letting its troops rape and abuse women and children around the world with impunity is beyond absurd — it is a smack in the face to the countless victims and their families. Among those testifying at the hearings this week, a variety of other non-solutions were also offered up by bureaucrats and “think tank” experts — proposals that will at best solve nothing, and at worst make the problem even more horrendous. It is time to try something new.

If Corker and other U.S. lawmakers are serious about reining in the UN and its predatory armed forces, there is a much better, simpler, and cheaper way. Right now, a bill to restore American sovereignty and withdraw from the UN is sitting in the House Foreign Affairs Committee. That may not fix the UN's predatory “peace” armies, but it will at least ensure that Americans are no longer complicit in funding the grotesque abuses, all while saving taxpayers billions of dollars every year. Plus, without U.S. participation and money, it is likely that the UN itself, a key tool for dictators and globalists to spread and legitimize evil, would collapse in on itself. That would be wonderful news for humanity — and especially for the people still being “helped” by the UN's predators in blue.

28 March 2016 – Emphasizing the consistent, dependable and universal commitment of women to conflict prevention, the head of UN Women today called for greater efforts to reach the goal of allocating at least 15 per cent of peacebuilding resources to gender equality and women's empowerment.

“Women need to be resourced so that they can do more,” Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, Executive Director of UN Women told the Security Council during an open debate on the role of women in conflict prevention in Africa.

“The commitment to allocate at least 15 per cent of peacebuilding funds to gender equality and women's empowerment, must become a reality. This must be extended to all efforts aimed at preventing and countering violent extremism,” she added.

She also stressed that women's organizations must receive the political and financial support needed to engage in violence prevention, mediation and diplomacy, as investing in gender equality as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development “is the best recipe for structural, long-term prevention.”

However, the role of women in conflict prevention is often missing in highest-level discussions about peace and security, she pointed out, welcoming today's debate that focused on the relationship between the need to focus on prevention of violence and paying attention to the critical importance of gender equality.

Ms. Mlambo-Ngcuka went on to cite specific examples of conflict prevention led by women in Africa, including the 'Women's Situation Rooms,' a monitoring mechanism to support women candidates and fight discrimination of women in electoral processes and gender-based electoral violence and harassment.
In the last five years, the mechanism has been established in Guinea Bissau, Kenya, Liberia, Mali, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Uganda, and the model is being replicated in a growing list of countries across Africa with UN Women's support.

“Our research also shows that women play a key role in de-escalating tensions and preventing radicalization in their families. In Mali, the most important influence for the successful re-integration of many ex-combatants has been the women in their families and communities,” she said.

In the Sahel region, the income, status and resilience of women has been boosted by programmes that address the gender gap in access to land and other productive assets, she said. In poor areas of Kenya, women's organizations are using mothers to identify and prevent the spread of radicalization, and in Burundi, hundreds of women mediators are working tirelessly to address local conflicts.

According to the Global Study on Women, Peace and Security, countries with lower levels of gender inequality are less likely to resort to the use of force; security of women is one of the most reliable indicators of the peacefulness of a State; and women's different spending patterns contribute directly to post-conflict social recovery, she noted.

She also presented some proposals. The UN's prevention work should include more frequent deliberations by the Security Council informed by the perspective and analyses of women on the ground. The practice of hearing from civil society should be extended to consultations on country-specific situations, to the work of the 15-nation body's subsidiary organs, including the Counterterrorism Committee, as well as the Council's visiting missions, she added.

Council members should also demand a robust gender analysis in reports and in all atrocity-prevention efforts, she continued, noting that UN Women serves as the Secretariat for the new Informal Expert Group on Women, Peace and Security, which held its first meeting last month on Mali. This mechanism is an important step in ensuring consistent and quality information flows to the Council, she added.

Women in conflict mediation

Also briefing the Council was Tayé-Brook Zerihoun, Assistant-Secretary-General for Political Affairs, who said promoting women's effective participation in conflict mediation and addressing their specific needs in peacemaking efforts had been a priority of the Department of Political Affairs since 2010, when its conflict-prevention work had become increasingly inclusive.

Since 2012, all UN mediation support teams had included women, and women made up half of the participants in the Department's high-level mediation skills training, which focused on enhancing gender parity and the future character and configuration of international peacemaking.

He said the Department also continued to implement, with UN Women, its Joint Strategy on Gender and Mediation, which helped to build mediation capacity for envoys and mediation teams by providing gender expertise and training, while UN Women strengthened the capacity of regional, national and local women leaders and peace coalitions, and supported access opportunities for women in peace negotiations.

Nevertheless, unequal access and opportunities for women's participation in political decision-making processes persisted worldwide. “Prioritizing prevention and inclusive political solutions has never been more urgent,” he emphasized.

Gender-focused peacebuilding strategy

Macharia Kamau, Chair of the Peacebuilding Commission, said that women remain a resource that has not been effectively utilized, citing such obstacles as cynical cultural practices that maintained patriarchal attitudes; insufficient political will to implement Security Council resolution 1325 (2000) on women, peace and security; militarized approaches to conflict resolution that crowded out organic initiatives; and the absence of gender-sensitive economic recovery.

As such, the Commission had outlined its first gender strategy, which it expected to adopt before July, he said, adding that it set out recommendations on strengthening the integration of gender perspectives in all country-specific and strategic engagements. Going forward, the Commission would use its unique leverage to advocate for technical expertise on gender equality and peacebuilding, as well as funding, he continued.

The combination of commitment on the part of senior leadership, specialized expertise and dedicated financial resources would make a real difference, as had been seen in Burundi, where UN-Women supported a network of 534 women mediators across all municipalities, he said.

Placing a personal emphasis on the gender issue, he said that he had seen the ruin that 100 years of colonial and post-colonial policies had wreaked upon women in the culture and society of his homeland, Kenya. “Women remain firmly at the bottom of the rungs of social progress and empowerment,” he said, underlining that a more inclusive future would require that countries respond forcefully to the condition of women in their midst.

SHAME !! CHILD RAPE IS A PART OF OUR CULTURE– SAYS ISLAMIC PREACHER.

Moumita Ghosh April 16, 2016

A mosque leader in Denmark have preached to the followers that if any apostate or adulterous person damages or creates problems to any Muslims, he/ she should be killed at that moment. The President of the Mosque defended himself by saying that: “We strongly believe in Islam”.

However, since the last few days, the Grimoh Mosque, located in Aarhus, is in news because one of their Imams said:
Citation:

“To rape a child is a part of our culture and there is nothing wrong in it”.

As a reminder, in the year 2014, the Mosque extended its support towards the Islamic state of terrorist. Later, the local police claimed that the Mosque praised the young Muslims, and that they want to stop their vicious advances.

During this time, the Danish TV2 broadcast a documentary; and again, he raised his voice and claimed that one should close all the other Mosques as they are slowly rising the wrong mentality among the society which could later turn out to be more dangerous. He also secretly raised his voice against the radical preacher Abu Bilal Mosque and said that :
Citation:

“If any married woman or divorced woman holds any illicit relationship, and if she is not a virgin, then thorns should be thrown to her till she is dead”.

At the same time, he maintained that:
Citation:

“if any woman or man comes between a marriage or is being found in any illegitimate relationship, their blood is considered “halal” under the Islamic law; and hence, should be punished by stoning to death”.

In addition, he also said that:
Citation:

“If any person kills a Muslim, he/ she should be killed….but if a person leaves Islam, they should also be killed.”

While listening to all the statements, the head Muslim cleric, Ousamma said:
Citation:

“TV broadcasters cheated and asked some wrong questions, and he had to answer….otherwise, we do not tell anything wrong related to our religion.”

However, the police said they are still investigating into the matter, and if found guilty of anything, strict action will be taken immediately.

TRANSGENDER BAPTIST PREACHER ALLYSON ROBINSON SAYS ‘ANGEL OF REASON’ TOLD HIM BIBLE WAS WRONG

“Allyson Dylan Robinson is a minister of the gospel, trained for the task, and ordained to the gospel ministry by another community in which she has served as pastor,” former leader Amy Butler wrote at that time. “Over the course of her journey, God has invited her to step into the faithful witness of a new identity, a true identity, and a new name.”

by Geoffrey Grider April 18, 2016

The nation’s first transgender Baptist preacher spoke to a national Baptist gathering on April 8, explaining that the doctor who delivered him as a baby was wrong in declaring him a boy, and that it was an “angel of reason” that caused him to accept his inclinations to identify as a woman.

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” 2 Timothy 3:1-5 (KJV)

EDITOR’S NOTE:
It’s starting as a trickle, but you are looking at the future of the Christian church in America and ultimately around the world. It is collapsing to become the Laodicean mess that Jesus said it would be in the last days before the Rapture. The only ‘revival’ coming will be the false revival of worldly church that puts personal feelings, emotions and desires far above that of Bible doctrine. Here we have a transgender ‘preacher’ who says that an ‘angel’ appeared to him to tell him that the Bible is wrong on homosexuality, and the world celebrates his ‘courage’. Last days.

Daniel Robinson, who goes by the name Allyson Robinson, had been studying to be a pastor at Baylor University’s George W. Truett Theological Seminary in 2005 when he began to wrestle with his gender identity as never before. He had struggled with his desire to be a man since childhood.

“I have known my entire life that the world was wrong about me, that on the day I was born, when the doctor took a cursory glance between my legs and authoritatively declared ‘It’s a boy,’ he was wrong—dead wrong,” Robinson told the Alliance of Baptists in St. Louis this month.

VIDEO : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHL5qsPZP8M

He said that one day in his early seminary days he contemplated suicide, but an “angel of the Lord” that he called “reason” stopped him.

“What if God hasn’t fixed you because you’re not broken?” Robinson said he heard inside of himself.

“That can’t be true,” he thought. “The Bible says I’m broken.”

“What if the Bible is wrong?” the voice said. “What if you’ve been reading it wrong?”

Robinson told those gathered that in that moment he “sacrificed his certainty” and hoped that God would count it as “righteousness.”

In other appearances, Robinson has explained that he went into therapy but kept his gender identity issues as secret until graduating from Baylor due to the seminary’s policies about homosexuality and transgenderism. He also took a position as pastor of Meadow Oaks Baptist Church in Temple, Texas during his time at Baylor.

Robinson’s wife, Danyelle, expressed her support about his desire to identify as a woman.

In 2014, he worked as a transitional minister at Calvary Baptist Church in Washington, D.C., and was ordained there as a woman.

Robinson now speaks as an itinerant preacher and appeared at Bruce “Caitlyn” Jenner’s renaming ceremony last year.

“Frankly I consider Job, Gautama Buddha, Joan of Arc, Rumi and Johnny Cash to be my spiritual predecessors far more than Augustine, Aquinas or Barth,” he told the Alliance of Baptists this month. “My hymnal has a lot less Isaac Watts and Fanny Crosby, but it’s full of Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Tupac and Beyonce.”

However, some have come to the opposite conclusion of Robinson, and state that it is not healthy to support and affirm a person’s desire to live as those of the opposite sex.
As previously reported, Walt Heyer, a 75-year-old man who obtained a sex change operation in the 1980’s to live as a woman for eight years before reverting back to his biological gender, now leads a ministry in which he shares his story with the world of how Christ redeemed his life and gave him hope.

“Nobody’s ever born a transgender,” he told the Daily Mail last January. “They’re manufactured as a result of something, a developmental childhood issue that has yet to be determined for many people.”

“All of them have some level of depression, and we’re not treating them,” Heyer lamented. “We’re just cutting off body parts and giving them a new name and a new gender.”

“God designed man; He designed women,” he also said in a video recorded last year. “God will redeem the lives of people who struggle with gender identity issues just like I did. He redeemed my life, and I’ve been free from it as a result of that.”

NORWAY : CHILD BRIDES TOLERATED IN MUSLIM ASYLUM CENTERS DESPITE BANS

Source: Child brides sometimes tolerated in Nordic asylum centers despite bans | Reuters

Some child brides are living with older husbands in asylum centers in Scandinavia, triggering a furor about lapses in protection for girls in nations that ban child marriage.

Authorities have in some cases let girls stay with their partners, believing it is less traumatic for them than forced separation after fleeing wars in nations such as Afghanistan or Syria. Evil or Very Mad

Some girls have also passed themselves off as adults.

Both these issues have caused unease in Scandinavia, where critics say that the authorities risk complicity in child abuse.

Of 31,000 asylum seekers who arrived in Norway in the past year or so, 10 of those aged under 16 — the minimum local age for sex or marriage — were married and four had children, the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI) said.

Of the 10 “some live in adult asylum centers, some in their own rooms and some with their partners,” it said in emailed replies to Reuters questions.

“Minors seeking asylum are in a difficult situation where they have left their homeland, family and friends, and the partner they have traveled with can be the only person they know and trust in Norway,” said Heidi Vibeke Pedersen, a senior UDI official.

A subsequent tightening of rules means such couples arriving now are separated, she said, and child protection authorities were reviewing all cases from 2015.

Some child protection agencies say any bride aged under 18 should be placed in a special center for children.

“To place them with their partner in facilities rigged for adults is not acceptable,” said Camilla Kayed, of the Ombudsman for Children Norway, an official watchdog for children’s rights.

She said there were no clear European rules for separating child brides and that Oslo had “unfortunately not ratified” conventions by the Council of Europe mapping out ways to prevent sexual exploitation and abuse.

And similar problems have occurred elsewhere.

In February, Danish Integration Minister Inger Stojberg said that she would “stop housing child brides in asylum centers” after a review found dozens of cases of girls living with older men.

Couples younger than 18 would not be allowed to live together without “exceptional reasons”, said Sarah Andersen, spokeswoman for the Integration Ministry.

“There will never be exceptions in cases where one side is below the age of 15,” she said.

In Denmark, 15 is the minimum age for sex and for marrying with a special permit. Denmark took in 20,000 asylum seekers last year.

In January, after reports by Swedish Radio, authorities said that at least 70 girls under 18 were married in asylum centers run by municipalities including Stockholm and Malmo.

“This is worrying,” Sweden’s Ombudsman for Children Fredrik Malmberg wrote in a blog, urging better child protection.

“We know that children fleeing are very vulnerable both for human trafficking and to become targets of forced marriage.”

In Sweden, the lowest age for sex is 15 and marriage 18.

PLAN, a non-governmental organization which helps children in developing nations, believes there are 15 million child marriages every year and says developed nations should never approve.

“If the girl is aged under 16, the minimum age for sexual intercourse in Norway, the child bride refugee should be separated from her husband even if they have children together and even if they say they want to stay together,” said Kjell Erik Oie, head of PLAN Norway.

Poor parents in developing nations sometimes marry off their daughters when times get hard to reduce food and other bills.

In the north Norwegian county of Finnmark, authorities are investigating circumstances surrounding a Syrian girl, now aged 16 who already has one child and is pregnant again, police lawyer Jens Herstad said.

“We still have to hear the husband’s account,” he said.

The so-called husbands should be deported ASAP. Wherever Muslim refugees and migrants invade, women and children will be hurt the most. Yes, it’s happening in the West already:

CHRISTIAN BAKER CAN BE FORCED TO MAKE GAY WEDDING CAKES TO STAY IN BUSINESS, COLORADO SUPREME COURT SAYS

The test of faith for the christian peoples. We can see it in every domains under this take over of this planet by the UN and the Roman Empire with their communist satanics laws.

Here, you have this man, Jack
Phillips who will have to choose if he wants to stay on the side of the noble vine (Yeschoua and His laws) or to submit to the strange vine (Roman Supreme court and his laws) who worship Lucifer and his mignons.

Each of us will have the same choice but remember that the Lord will be there for each of us if we trust Him. If we have to die or to live, we are ready, the Lord will be with us. The day will come were God will give us the best part when He will come back. We have to be patient and strong. The battle will be terrible but at the end our Lord will win and a new world will emerge.

12 "For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the Lord will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your reward.
13 Behold, my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high."
Isaiah 52:12-13

Are we ready to loose everything we have? Are we ready to die for our Lord and God? Is our family ready for whats coming? Christians are now consider to be the enemy and a danger for this new global pagan system.

20 "For of old time I have broken thy yoke, and burst thy bands; and thou saidst, I will not transgress; when upon every high hill and under every green tree thou wanderest, playing the harlot.
21 Yet I had planted thee a noble vine, wholly a right seed: how then art thou turned into the degenerate plant of a strange vine unto me?
22 For though thou wash thee with nitre, and take thee much soap, yet thine iniquity is marked before me, saith the Lord God."
Jeremiah 2:20-22

The world comes to his end but a new one, a better one will emerge in few years with the coming of our God and master. It's time to make your choice, the destroyer is at the door and ready to exterminate each one of us. Stop to listen the false prophets who are telling you :

12 "They have belied the Lord, and said, It is not he; neither shall evil come upon us; neither shall we see sword nor famine:
13 And the prophets shall become wind, and the word is not in them."
Jeremiah 5:12

Colorado baker Jack Phillips.

Colorado's highest court declined to hear an appeal from a Christian baker who was found guilty of discrimination for refusing to service a same-sex wedding ceremony.

The Colorado Supreme Court decided Monday to not hear an appeal from Jack Phillips of Masterpiece Cakeshop, Inc., who had been found guilty of discrimination by the Colorado Civil Rights Commission.

"Upon consideration of the Petition for Writ of Certiorari to the Colorado Court of Appeals and after review of the record, briefs, and the judgment of said Court of Appeals, IT IS ORDERED that said Petition for Writ of Certiorari shall be, and the same hereby is, DENIED," read the decision.

In 2012, Phillips declined to make a cake for a gay wedding. In response, a complaint was filed against Phillips before the Civil Rights Commission, which in May 2014 found him guilty of violating Colorado's Anti-Discrimination Act, or CADA.

As part of his punishment, Phillips was ordered to undergo sensitivity training and he had to provide the Commission with updates on any cake orders he refused to take, providing an explanation for this reasoning.

(9news Denver, 2013)Masterpiece Cakeshop has been the target of the ACLU and gay activists over their refusal to provide services for a homosexual wedding.

The same-sex couple filing the complaint against Phillips was represented by the American Civil Liberties Union of Colorado.

In August of 2015, the Colorado Court of Appeals sided with the Civil Rights Commission, prompting Phillips to file a petition for appeal with the state supreme court last October.

"It was the duty of the Court of Appeals to adopt a reasonable interpretation of CADA that 'avoid constitutional conflict.' But it did the opposite," stated the petition.

"By equating an artist's conscience-driven, message-based objection to creating expressive items that offend his beliefs with person-based discrimination based on sexual orientation, the court places CADA in direct conflict with the fundamental rights to free speech and free exercise of religion, and wrongly subordinates these rights to public accommodations law."

Phillips is being represented by the Alliance Defending Freedom, a conservative law firm that has given aid to other businesses in the country facing similar legal complaints.

Regarding the state supreme court's refusal to hear the appeal, ADF Senior Counsel Jeremy Tedesco said in a statement that they "are evaluating all legal options."
"We asked the Colorado Supreme Court to take this case to ensure that government understands that its duty is to protect the people's freedom to follow their beliefs personally and professionally, not force them to violate those beliefs as the price of earning a living," stated Tedesco.

"Jack, who has happily served people of all backgrounds for years, simply exercised the long-cherished American freedom to decline to use his artistic talents to promote a message and event with which he disagrees, and that freedom shouldn't be placed in jeopardy for anyone."

Although Colorado's legal system has concluded that Phillips cannot deny service for a same-sex wedding, the state's Civil Rights Division of the Department of Regulatory Agencies did conclude that a bakery can refuse to bake a cake with Bible verses on it.

In April of 2015, the Division ruled that Azucar Bakery of Denver was not guilty of discrimination when it refused to make a cake that would have included Bible verses denouncing homosexuality.
