Arrangers: Science Research Foundation (SRF) and Preserving National Values Foundation (PNVP) as partners
Date: 22 September 2005
Venue: Sepetciler Palace, Istanbul-Turkey

Terrorism does not differentiate between men in terms of race, religion or language, violating the tranquility of nations and prevent them from elevating their levels of prosperity. Against this destruction, it is time that sincere Muslims, Christians and Jews came together around the principles of peace, brotherhood, love and solidarity. Against those pushing forward “the clash of civilizations” it is essential that people with conscience and a sense of responsibility co-operate to ensure a “civilization alliance”.

Within this context, a conference was arranged by the Science Research Foundation and Preserving National Values Foundation with the attendance of specialists and leading representatives of the three divine religions.

The conference commenced with a concert by the Janissary Band and then a member of the SRF, Ibrahim Tuncer, gave an inaugural speech. A documentary film was then screened.

Religious figures from different countries, delegates from consulates and embassies of foreign countries, esteemed academics from Turkish universities, members of the Turkish Parliament, journal corporation concessionaires, columnists, retired Turkish Army generals, bureaucrats, businessmen and numerous representatives of nongovernmental organizations attended the conference. TARKAN YAVAS (President, Science and Research Foundation)

The solution to terrorism which fills the world with blood lies in an alliance of civilizations. People from different religions, different nations have come together at this meeting, shared their opinions and agreed on common values. If this elite gathering can do this, then this fine example should be a model for the entire world. Such an alliance will be effective on a global scale. We have such concepts of unity and tolerance within ourselves; the Ottoman Empire is the best example of this reality. It is not impossible to ensure such a synergy once again. What do we have to do to achieve this again? We should stand together, keep this subject always on the agenda and above all be in contact with each other at all time. The main theme of peace and tranquility is to soften the hearts and to eradicate the impulse to conflict. Unity and alliance of religions is the only solution capable of rescuing humanity. The only means of delivering mankind lies in an alliance and unity of religions. Cooperation between countries, religions and respect for each other will help ensure peace in the world.

KAYRAT NAZARBAYEV (Head of the Kazakhstan National Security Committee)
I greet sincerely you all on behalf of Kazakh Muslims. I thank the foundation of Harun Yahya. The most important factor that unites us here is that we all believe in one God. In the Qur’an, the names of 28 prophets are mentioned, and that is why tolerance of Muslims has been stated in the Qur’an in a very clear way. No religion commands massacre and violence. In Islam, killing one person is like killing all people. In Islam, the concept of jihad is portrayed as defending oneself, and jihad is also a struggle that a person carries on against his/herself. Lack of knowledge and education is one major cause of terrorism. One should be afraid of a person who is not afraid of God, and terrorists are all unbelievers. Our common enemy is Satan and the followers of Satan. Today the world needs cooperation and fraternity among religions. All global events take place under the control of God. For this reason we all should fulfill our duties. I wish to thank the foundation of Harun Yahya. I understand that they have held 200 conferences, published 300 books and made many other studies. The studies of this foundation are very important works for Muslims.

RAVIL GAYNUDDIN (Chairman of the Russian Muftis Council)
In the last decade much was said about how the ascendant forces should join together against terrorism. All powers should come together against ethical degeneration. Anyone who encourages terrorism commits a crime against God. This shows that they are not frightened of God at all. Islam enjoins peace, and in one of the verse of the Qur’an we are told, “All of you unite in peace”. All religions denounce terrorism. Our Prophet (may God bless him and grant him peace) orders us to “make peace and feed him who is hungry”. The objective of terrorism is political, and it is being used all around the world. Terrorism cannot be the basis of religion. Right now, our most important duty is to engage in new cooperation. A sincere alliance of civilizations is currently the most important issue facing us. A return to morality and moral values and mankind's efforts to understand the truth represent only the salvation for mankind.

PROF. DR. NEVZAT YALCINTAS (Istanbul Member of Parliament, Second President of the Europe Security and Cooperation Organization)
I congratulate the directors of the Foundation, because Istanbul is a global city and terrorism is a global issue, so it is most appropriate to discuss the subject in Istanbul. Violence can only exist due to lack of morality. The main cause of terrorism is lack of moral values. Can any person who loves God and is afraid of Him do such a thing? The solution lies in morality, mercy, love, and tolerance. In our era, we have made the mistake of equating terrorism with religion.

BEHNAM AZAD (Iranian Istanbul Consulate-General Cultural Attaché)
This conference has been organized to explore the idea of living in peace while we are living through a very dangerous and delicate period. Today global cultures need a medium of dialogue more than ever before. The cause of fighting and conflict is ignorance. The Qur’an advises unity in the form of an alliance of civilizations. We should build such an alliance among civilizations on this basis to make a world that is based on justice and freedom.

PROF. DR. BEKIR KARLIAGA (M. U. Faculty of Theology, Head of Philosophy and Religion Department)
Civilizations do not clash, they are like a common table for cultural exchanges. It is very important that Turkey was selected as a part of the effort to construct an alliance of civilizations. Because we had experience of sheltering more than 20 different ethnic groups and more than 20 religions. Turkey is very significant for both the EU and a world that is globalizing, and for the Annan project. We have to make our voice heard as loud as we can to build an alliance among civilizations.

ALEXANDR LAKSHIN (Russian Chief Rabbinate Foreign Affairs Coordinator)
This conference has been organized at the right time and when it is sorely needed. Regrettably, as we have seen lately, some people are trying to put an end to human lives, which are the greatest assets given by God. In doing this they use religious concepts. In Russia especially, during the atheistic period that lasted for 70 years, they tried to erase the word "God" from everyone's mind. Today we need to talk about what we can do to save the world. The origins of terrorism do not lie in religions but in materialist philosophy, the theory of evolution more than anything. First of all I want to congratulate the SRF for its contribution. A professor from Cambridge University has said the following; “If this theory were widespread around the world then people would turn into animals and very dreadful events would take place on Earth”. I think we are now living through those days. We should not talk about the differences between ourselves, instead we should talk about common values and cooperate to make the world a religious place.

GEORGES MAROVITCH (Istanbul Representative of the Vatican Embassy)
We are all brothers in God. I congratulate the worthy Adnan Oktar and all the members of the foundation for this and wish to thank you. God is pleased with you. Islam, Christianity and Judaism are not terrorism. Terrorism is Satan. As our Muslim brothers say, we can find a solution by “holding tightly to the rope of God” but we should hang on very tightly and not let it go. Since we have not implemented these holy words, terrorism can be seen all around the world. If we read our scriptures and follow them then the solution comes after. The SRF publishes books and produces CDs; this is not easy. They make many sacrifices and I would like to tell them to keep up the good work. You can be sure that God is watching us, and I hope we will attain God's never-ending happiness together.

TIMOFHY ZHIVATOV (Patriarch of St. Mary's Russian Orthodox Church)
With this meeting we are close to the second coming of the Messiah. Your country is becoming the center of the world. Representatives from different religions find common points of agreement in Turkey. They feel the love here. The real cause of terrorism arises from the inaccurate analysis of human life. Man is a part of the spirit of God. If we regard a person from this perspective we cannot raise our hands against anyone. One of the most important theses that we should put forward against religious extremism is recognizing the faith in the representatives of other religions. If we appraise each other in this way then we shall attain a very different perspective. We can only see Jesus in this way in the End Days. This conference has prepared a very good basis for this; it prepares the second coming of Jesus.

FATHER TEODOZY (Patriarch of St. Mary's Russian Orthodox Church)
The happenings worldwide will inevitably lead people to cooperate. People realize every single day that this threat of terrorism cannot be solved by political or military means. There is only one power that can solve it, and that is God. God could prevent all this, but does not. Why? We should realize the reasons behind this, and if we cannot then our faith is weak. What we should do is to start a great moral struggle against Satan. This important mission is first given to religious figures. In order to lead people away from materialism and towards morality, from Darwin's theory to creation, we must first cooperate with each other. God has created these three religions as different means. But there is only one way that leads us to God. We should open our hearts to God, to our brothers. I want to thank the SRF and Harun Yahya for initiating a very important movement. We pray to God that it go from strength to strength.

AMJAD MAJID ABBASI (Pakistanian Embassy, Deputy Head of Mission)
First we should realize that it is very wrong to equate terrorism and violence with a divine religion. Because Islam means peace. Such brutal actions are the crime of the person who commits them, and this cannot be attributed to religion. Islam aims to win hearts and develop them morally. In one verse of the Qur’an it is stated that killing innocent people is like killing all humanity, and saving the life of one person is like saving the lives of all people. For this reason winning the hearts of people is the first way to prevent the events that in turn lead to terrorism.

ALTUG M. BERKER (President, Preserving National Values Foundation)
We believe that solving the terrorism problem lies in an intellectual struggle against the ideologies that feed terrorism. For this reason we should determine the real origin of terrorism and wage that struggle accordingly. The real origin of terrorism is the Social Darwinism that ascribes to human beings social animal status and that eliminates conscience and human feelings. We believe in and love, without any discrimination, all the religions and the prophets Muhammad (may God bless him and grant him peace), Jesus (peace be upon him), Moses (peace be upon him) and all the other prophets. As people who believe in God, we believers in the religions brought by these blessed prophets and the civilizations that they gave birth to should unite in one word, in the existence of God against harmful movements that conflict with the ethics of religion. The terrorism, wars and enmity that surround us can only be eradicated in this way.

By David A. Patten

In an exclusive interview, the Rev. Billy Graham tells Newsmax that President Obama's "hope and change" mantra is nothing more than a cliché and warns that the nation faces increasing threats to civil and religious liberties from its government.

Graham, who is preparing for possibly his last crusade, this time via video, said America is drenched in a "sea of immorality" and suggested that the second coming of Christ is "near."

Graham, who turns 95 in November, and just published his book, “The Reason for My Hope: Salvation,” was asked whether he believes the government may be so large and powerful, in light of the pervasive collection and monitoring of digital communications, that it becomes an inherent threat to basic human liberties.

“Our early fathers led our nation according to biblical principles,” Graham wrote in response. “‘Hope and change’ has become a cliché in our nation, and it is daunting to think that any American could hope for change from what God has blessed,” he stated, an obvious reference to President Obama’s campaign motto.

“Our country is turning away from what has made it so great,” he continued, “but far greater than the government knowing our every move that could lead to losing our freedom to worship God publicly, is to know that God knows our every thought; he knows our hearts need transformation.”

Graham continues to share his message of God’s love, a message he has imparted faithfully for decades, despite faltering health in recent years.

He was hospitalized for pneumonia in 2011 and again last year due to a lung infection. He held his first crusade in September 1947, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He would go on to present over 400 crusades in 185 countries. But in the United States, he has probably received the most media attention for his role as a spiritual adviser to many presidents.

To say Graham’s ministry has had a far-flung impact would be an understatement. His staff has estimated that Graham led some 3.2 million people to faith in Christ.

When he made Gallup’s top 10 list of Most Admired Men in January, it marked the 56th time he made the list since 1955 — more than anyone else.

But perhaps his greatest legacy will be the members of his own family who carry on the spiritual tradition he established in 1950 when he founded the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA).

They include son Franklin Graham, president and CEO of the BGEA, and also the global Samaritan’s Purse charitable ministry.

Many believing Christians believe in a coming Armageddon, a final battle between good and evil prophesied in the book of Revelation.

Graham tells Newsmax it is not wise to “speculate” about the dates of such a battle, but he adds that the Bible says that there “will be signs pointing toward the return of the Lord.”

“I believe all of these signs are evident today,” Graham wrote, adding that “the return of Christ is near.

“Regardless of what society says, we cannot go on much longer in the sea of immorality without judgment coming,” he says.

Graham’s ministry work continues at a tireless pace, one that many would consider miraculous. This month, Graham is launching a video series that will be part of a national Gospel-presentation program called “My Hope America.”

Graham shared with Newsmax that “My Hope America” may be his last Gospel outreach.

“It could perhaps be my last message,” he wrote, “which is this: Christ is our hope for today and our promise for tomorrow. And it is fulfilled in the great work he did for mankind on the cross when he paid the penalty for our sin.”

Full Interview Follows:

Newsmax: Since your first crusade in Grand Rapids, Mich., in 1947, traditional moral standards in America have changed radically, with attacks on traditional marriage and abortion and divorce. In an increasingly secular world, can even non-believers find 'hope' – to borrow a word from your book title?

Rev. Billy Graham: Absolutely non-believers can find hope, because all people have sinned and come short of God's glory (Romans 3:23). But the Bible also tells us that God our Savior desires all people to be saved and to come into the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4 NKJV). Real hope is found only in the God of hope. To demonstrate this to mankind, He sent His only Son to earth to bring redemption to people's souls. God stands by ready to grant salvation to all who believe in Him. 'For God so loved the world that He gave His only [Son], that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life' (John 3:16 NKJV). Do not miss the importance of this wonderful phrase 'in Him.' When we step into an airplane, fasten our seatbelts and the wheels leave the runway, we have placed our physical being and our complete faith not only in the aircraft, but in the pilot and crew. When we receive salvation offered to us by Jesus Christ, we are committing our entire being—our physical, emotional, and spiritual life -- to Him because we put our faith in Him -- in everything He has said, done, and promised.

What is the biggest spiritual danger America currently faces?

There was a headline recently about more Americans tailoring religion to fit their needs; mixing a little Christianity with the religions of the world. It is called a 'trendy faith.' Society does not object to this kind of faith. We have dismissed God, resulting in skewed thinking and consciences that are desensitized to right and wrong, basing moral decisions solely on what 'fits in' with our individual preferences. I watch the news daily and my heart is burdened. When I hear despair in people's voices, when I see the turmoil on their faces, it tells me that hopelessness abounds. This is my reason for writing the book, to proclaim that there is a way out and it is through Jesus Christ who came to save us from self-destruction. People go on a search for anything but God. Many people do not want to face the truth of the Gospel. They water it down to a myth, causing young and old to doubt the authority of the Bible. We as a nation have turned our back on God who blessed our country because its fundamental principles were grounded in the Word of God. People want designer religion, but I pray that they instead will submit to their Creator who longs to become their God and Savior. He has designed eternal life in Heaven for all those who receive His salvation.

One chapter in your book is titled "He Is Coming Back." Do you think the biblical requirements of the End Times have largely been fulfilled, and are we on the verge of an "Armageddon" event that may presage the return of Jesus?

While we are told not to speculate about dates, God keeps His promises and this is why we can be sure that the return of Christ is near. Scripture tells us that there will be signs pointing toward the return of the Lord. I believe all of these signs are evident today. What a time to take the news of the day in one hand and the Bible in the other and watch the unfolding of the great drama of the ages come together. I would not want to live in any other time. The Bible speaks powerfully of trouble ahead with storm warnings that carry a booming jolt of truth. Regardless of what society says, we cannot go on much longer in the sea of immorality without judgment coming. We are at a crossroads, and there are profound moral issues at stake. It is time to return to biblical truth. The warning is clear; prepare to meet thy God—followed by the voice of the gentle Shepherd—the Lord Jesus—saying, 'Come to Me all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest' (Matthew 11:28 NKJV). A new world is coming. It is time for the people of the world to turn to God.

You've visited many presidents, and prayed with them in many different circumstances. Which U.S. president would you hold up as the best example for other Christians to emulate, in terms of their personal standards, moral conduct, and heart for God?

I have tried to be a pastor to each of the 12 U. S. presidents I have had the privilege of knowing personally, but I would never single one of them out. They are just ordinary people, most of whom are seeking to talk to somebody who won't quote them; whom they can trust and have prayer with. They are searching for something to hold on to, something that can give them an anchor in the midst of this turbulent world or the latest political crisis they find themselves in. It is a lonely place to be in that level of leadership, and I have always encouraged people to pray for them, asking that they seek God's wisdom and do His will.

Your ministry, and the faith that your children and grandchildren continue to champion today, have touched millions and millions of lives in a powerful way all across the globe. If you had one last message to share with them, one final word you would love for them to engrave on their hearts and never forget, what would you say?

This is exactly why I have written the book [The Reason for My Hope: Salvation] and why our ministry is launching 'My Hope America' television program this November. It could perhaps be my last message which is this — Christ is our hope for today and our promise for tomorrow — and it is fulfilled in the great work He did for mankind on the cross when He paid the penalty for our sin. He offers salvation to those who will 'come' to Him, believe in what He has done and what He has said, and obediently follow Him. I've never known anyone to come to Christ and ever regret it.

We've recently learned the federal government is tracking every letter mailed, every phone call made, every email sent. Is there a point at which a government can become so large and powerful that it inherently threatens basic human freedoms, such as the freedom of religion?

Americans have always fought for freedom. This is why America was founded — to worship the one true God openly with no fear of tyranny. Our early fathers led our nation according to Biblical principles. Hope and change has become a cliché in our nation and it is daunting to think that any American could hope for change from what God has blessed. Our country is turning away from what has made it so great, but far greater than the government knowing our every move that could lead to losing our freedom to worship God publicly is to know that God knows our every thought; He knows our hearts need transformation. The human heart can be changed only by the power of God. Hope is certain only through His Son Jesus Christ — not in the change agents of the world, and when the end of the world as we know it takes place at Christ's return, no government can prevent it and no individual can escape it. Those who hope for it will welcome it; those who refuse to embrace its reality will never change its certainty.

Billy Graham Denies Jesus But Not Second Coming!

Famed evangelist sees signs 'converging now for the 1st time'

Published: 1 day ago

Evangelist Billy Graham

By Troy Anderson

Just as Noah did in ancient times, world-renowned evangelist Billy Graham is sounding the alarm that the Second Coming is “near” and signs of the end of the age are “converging now for the first time since Jesus made those predictions.”

Earlier this month, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the United Nations General Assembly “biblical prophecies are being realized.”

And last week, Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., claimed the world has entered the last days.

“When you see up is down and right is wrong, when this is happening, we were told this: that these days would be as the days of Noah,” Bachmann said.

The remarks by Graham, Netanyahu and Bachmann come amid a steadily rising wave of public interest in the end times, as demonstrated by recent polls and New York Times and Amazon.com bestselling books such as “The Harbinger: The Ancient Mystery That Holds the Secret of America’s Future,” by Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, and “Four Blood Moons: Something is About to Change,” by Pastor John Hagee.

In September, a poll by the Ventura, Calif.-based Barna Group found 4 in 10 Americans – and 77 percent of evangelical Christians – believe the “world is now living in the biblical end times.”

Now, a new wave of end-times predictions for 2014 and 2015 involving blood moons on Jewish holy days and prophetically significant events on the Shemitah – the ancient biblical year of the Sabbath – are igniting even more interest in humanity’s ultimate fate.

Throw in next year’s reboot of the “Left Behind” film featuring Nicolas Cage and the cinematic destruction of biblical proportions in “Noah,” starring Russell Crowe, and last-days fever is back with a mainstream vengeance.

Jonathan Cahn’s “The Harbinger” reveals an astonishing prophetic mystery unfolding today

“I think we’re on the verge of a global awakening in interest in apocalyptic events,” said Paul McGuire, an internationally recognized prophecy expert who is a regular commentator on Fox News and CNN and appeared on two highly rated History Channel specials, including “7 Signs of the Apocalypse.”

“I see a fuse being lit here, between what Billy Graham, Michele Bachman and Benjamin Netanyahu said, and I think there is going to be an explosion of interest in the end times like nothing we’ve ever seen before,” McGuire said.

Watching the signs

In an exclusive email interview with WND, Graham, 94, who is giving what may be his last message to the world as part of the My Hope America with Billy Graham evangelistic outreach in early November, said the world is “coming toward the end of the age.”

“There’s a great deal to say in the Bible about the signs we’re to watch for and when these signs all converge at one place we can be sure that we’re close to the end of the age,” Graham wrote. “And those signs, in my judgment, are converging now for the first time since Jesus made those predictions.”

In his new book, “The Reason for My Hope: Salvation,” the famed preacher who has delivered the gospel message to more people face-to-face than anyone in history wrote the great hope of the Christian faith rests in the promised return of Christ.

Graham said he now has a burden for “sounding the alarm for humanity to repent and turn from their sin … just as Noah did in ancient days.”

“God keeps his promises, and this is why we can be sure that the return of Christ is near,” Graham said. “Scripture tells us that there will be signs pointing toward the return of the Lord. I believe all these signs are evident today.”

The evangelistic outreach and book come as a number of major evangelists – Graham, his son Franklin Graham, Reinhard Bonnke, Greg Laurie, Luis Palau, Banning Liebscher and others – are turning their attention toward America in the hope of helping ignite what Graham calls an end-times “great spiritual awakening.”

In what the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association describes as the largest outreach in its six-decade history, Graham will give a dynamic and poignant pre-recorded message the week of Nov. 7, his 95th birthday. The My Hope programs will be available for viewing online and on YouTube. The Cross, the primary program in the My Hope series, will be broadcast on the Fox News channel, TBN, Christian networks and local television stations in a number of cities.

The event follows an open letter Graham released in the summer of 2012 titled “My Heart Aches for America.”

In the letter, Graham wondered what his late wife, Ruth, would think of a nation in which “self-centered indulgence, pride and a lack of shame over sin are now emblems of the American lifestyle.”

Graham compared America to the ancient city of Nineveh, the lone superpower of its time. When the prophet Jonah finally traveled to Nineveh and proclaimed God’s warning, the people repented and escaped judgment, Graham wrote, adding he believes the same thing could happen today.

The end-times warnings by Graham, Netanyahu, Bachmann and others come amid a series of events in recent years that have prompted many to ask whether the countdown to Armageddon has begun.

The events include the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, Hurricane Katrina, the global recession and more recently what some view as an increase in purported end-times signs, including super-earthquakes, mega-tsunamis and gargantuan storms and tornadoes.

“We’re looking at things like the possibility of another global economic meltdown,” said McGuire, an author of 22 prophecy books, including “The Day the Dollar Died” and the upcoming “A Prophecy of the Future of America.”

“Consider the earthquake warnings, the potential volcanic eruption of Yellowstone, the Japanese tsunamis and the radiation from the Fukushima nuclear disaster traveling across the ocean and contaminating the food supply here on the West Coast, along with massive tornadoes the size of which we’ve never seen in human history,” he said.

McGuire said government and scientific experts are also expressing concerns about the potential of a massive West Coast tsunami, increased solar flare activity and severe climate change.

“The dramatic and unprecedented planetary climate change is something on the level of the apocalyptic predictions of the Bible,” McGuire said. “We’re on the verge right now, because of climate change, of massive food and water shortages, which could affect tens of millions of people worldwide because of the droughts that have occurred. The intense heat and water shortages have dried up the crops, and we are going to see that play out in the near future because of all the freak weather.”

Blood moons

Against this apocalyptic backdrop, prominent faith leaders such as Graham, Greg Laurie, Cahn and John Hagee say they are witnessing an unparalleled acceleration in last-days signs that suggest the Second Coming is fast approaching.

Hagee, pastor of Cornerstone Church and author of the newly-released book “Four Blood Moons,” told his 22,000-member congregation recently that the appearance of four blood moons on Jewish holy days between April 2014 and October 2015 points to a “world-shaking event” that could signify the beginning of events leading up to the seven-year Great Tribulation.

God is using the heavens to announce things to come, says Pastor John Hagee.

“I believe that the heavens are God’s billboard – that he has been sending signals to planet Earth and we just haven’t been picking them up,” Hagee told his San Antonio, Texas, congregation. “Today, with the help of God’s word and some very astute scientists, I’m going to walk you through 500 years (of four blood moons on Jewish feast days) and show you how God is literally screaming at the world: ‘I am coming soon.’”

The phenomenon, a rare combination of lunar and solar eclipses, has only occurred a few times in the last 500 years – 1492, 1948 and 1967. It will happen again in 2014-15.

The previous dates correspond with the Jews’ expulsion from Spain and Christopher Columbus’ discovery of America (a sanctuary for the Jewish people), the creation of Israel, the Six-Day War and what Hagee and other Bible prophecy scholars believe could be the Middle East “War of Gog and Magog” predicted by the prophet Ezekiel 2,700 years ago. This war, according to Bible prophecy scholars, involves an attack on Israel by a coalition of nations led by Russia and Iran.

“The Bible speaks of signs in the heavens that have been discovered and recorded by NASA that you yourself can find on Google on the Internet,” Hagee told his church. “The coming four blood moons point to a world-shaking event that will happen between April 2014 and October 2015. What does it mean? What is the prophetic significance? Is this the end of the age?”

Likewise, Cahn, author of “The Harbinger,” which has remained on the New York Times bestseller list since its release in January 2012, says his book highlights a pattern of escalating judgments at seven-year intervals on the Shemitah that may point to another major prophetic event between September 2014 and September 2015.

Cahn’s book, based on a real-life prophetic mystery he discovered in Isaiah 9, frames a biblical warning of national judgment in a narrative as a journalist encounters a mysterious figure, “The Prophet,” who claims the same nine harbingers of divine judgment that preceded the destruction of Israel 2,700 years ago are now manifesting in America.

The book, and its newly released nonfiction version, “The Harbinger Companion,” notes that the greatest stock market crashes in American history occurred seven years apart. The first was shortly after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and the next on Sept. 29, 2008, amid a global economic panic.

“Both crashes took place on the exact same biblical day, Elul 29, the day of the Shemitah, the day appointed in the Bible to strike a nation’s financial realm, and wipe clean its financial accounts,” said Cahn, the senior rabbi at the nation’s largest messianic congregation, the Beth Israel Worship Center in Wayne, N.J.

“The Shemitah is based on a seven-year cycle,” he said. “If you go back seven years from the greatest crash in our financial history, it takes you to [Sept. 17, 2001].”

And while Sept. 11, 2001, and Sept. 29, 2008, are not exactly seven years apart on the Western calendar, they are on the biblical Hebrew calendar, Cahn pointed out.

“On the biblical Hebrew calendar, it was Elul 29, the Day of the Shemitah, to strike a nation’s financial realm,” Cahn said. “So the greatest crashes in American history, up to those days, each happened on the exact same biblical day, the day that just happened to be appointed to strike a nation’s financial realm, and exactly seven biblical years apart to the very day and the very hours.”

The next Shemitah begins in September 2014 and concludes in September 2015. And while he’s not “dogmatic as to what will happen,” Cahn said it’s quite curious to note that the dates of the blood moons “in some ways parallel the Shemitah’s in that they take place also between 2014 and 2015.”

“The correlation between (the blood moons) and the Hebrew holidays are very interesting,” Cahn said. “The occurrence of the blood moons on these Jewish holidays occurred only a few times in the past 2,000 years. Some of these, in the early Middle Ages, are hard to connect to significant dates. But the last three, the Spanish expulsion, the birth of Israel and the regaining of Jerusalem, are all very significant dates in Jewish history and, in the case of two of these, in end-time prophecy.”

Haven’t we heard this before?

Despite these apocalyptic portents, critics point to a nearly endless string of failed end-times predictions dating back thousands of years. This includes the the Mayan apocalypse on Dec. 21, 2012, and radio evangelist Harold Camping’s prediction that Christ would return on May 21, 2011.

Laurie, pastor of the 15,000-member Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, Calif., and president of Harvest Crusades, said he’s seen many end-times prognosticators come and go over the last several decades.

Laurie, who got his start under the ministry of Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa Pastor Chuck Smith, who died Oct. 3 at age 86, became a Christian during the Jesus Movement of the 1970s – a time when there was a great emphasis on the imminent return of Christ.

It was the decade of Hal Lindsey’s “The Late Great Planet Earth,” the book the New York Times called the “No. 1 nonfiction bestseller” of the 1970s. The book popularized prophetic beliefs about the last days and contributed to the Jesus Movement.

“Well, clearly, decades have passed and Jesus has not returned,” Laurie said. “Were we misguided in our beliefs? Well, I don’t think we were. The Bible says that God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance and it also says in the same series of verses that God is not late as some men count lateness, but is longsuffering toward us.

“And I’m glad that God did not answer our prayers back in the early ’70s for Jesus to come back, because if he had, there would have been a lot of people who would have missed the Rapture and would have gone through the Tribulation period.”

Today, Franklin Graham, the president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, said there is an urgency and sense “that the Lord Jesus could be returning soon.”

“The Bible gives us warning signs,” he said. “Jesus told his disciples the things people should be looking for, and I believe all the prophecies that have to take place for Jesus to return have been fulfilled.”

One of the big prophecies was the rebirth of the nation of Israel in 1948.

“It’s just now a question of when is that time, and I believe in my own heart that it’s sometime soon,” he said. “When I say soon – the next 10, 20 years – I don’t know. But as far as the history of the world, I believe we’re coming down to the midnight hour on God’s clock.”

‘We can’t go on much longer’

Charlie Daniels, the country music legend and the host of the recent documentary, “Behold a Pale Horse: America’s Last Chance,” said Billy Graham is a very dedicated man of God and “what he’s feeling is very much valid and in connection with what is going on now.”

“I also feel the end times are approaching,” said Daniels, who is best known for his No. 1 country hit “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.” “I don’t know the chronology. I don’t know when it’s going to happen, but I know it’s closer than it was. I believe that the things left to be fulfilled in the Bible could be fulfilled in a very short amount of time.”

It’s a time, Billy Graham wrote in “The Reason for My Hope: Salvation,” to take the news of the day in one hand and the Bible in the other and watch the unfolding of the great drama of the ages come together.

“This is an exciting and thrilling time to be alive,” wrote Graham, a man who has preached to more people – 2.2 billion – than any Protestant in history and who has appeared on Gallup’s list of the most admired men in the world 56 times since 1955, more than any other individual in the world.

“I would not want to live in any other period,” he said.

“The Apocalypse (the unveiling of the end times) speaks powerfully of trouble ahead with storm warnings that carrying a booming jolt of truth. The warning is clear: prepare to meet thy God – followed by the voice of the gentle Shepherd – ‘Come.’”

A new world is coming, Graham wrote. The paradise that humanity lost in the Garden of Eden will be regained. Christ is coming to conquer evil and establish his perfect rule over all creation

“But until then God wants to give everyone an opportunity to know Christ through repentance and faith,” Graham wrote. “Regardless of what society says, we can’t go on much longer in the sea of immorality without judgment coming. We are at a crossroads, and there are profound moral issues at stake. It is time to return to biblical truth.”

Rev. Franklin Graham addressing pastors at the Watchmen on the Wall National Briefing, held at the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC on Thursday, May 22, 2014.

WASHINGTON – The Rev. Franklin Graham told a large gathering of pastors on Thursday to address controversial issues from the pulpit, declaring that "God hates cowards."

Graham, president and CEO of Samaritan's Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, based his remarks on Revelation 21:8, wherein God lists eight groups of people who will be "in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."

Of groups like murderers, idolaters, unbelievers, and others, the first group of persons listed were the cowardly. It was this first group that Graham focused on for his speech, titled "Standing Strong on the Controversial Issues," at the Thursday evening session for the 2014 Watchmen on the Wall National Briefing.

"The definition of a coward: a coward will not confront an issue that needs to be confronted due to fear. That is a coward," said Graham.

"God hates cowards. And the cowards that the Lord is referring to are the men and women who know the truth but refuse to speak it." = So you are also a coward, mister Graham. You're a worshipper of the Scarlet woman and a puppet of Rome, like your father, who fool the evangelical christians for long time. If you consider yourself as a man of the Most High, denounce and speak about your father who support islam and homosexuality and who sign the international Evangelization 2000 for this New World Order religion.

In his remarks at the dinner session, Graham spoke about the need for churches to speak out against abortion and homosexuality, declaring that "you're not going to shut me up."

"We have a responsibility to speak on the moral issues. Abortion, homosexuality, these are moral issues. This is a free country, you can do what you want to do but I want you to know it's a sin against God. This is a sin," said Graham. = Yes, these things are sin who're put in place by the Catholic gnostic church of Rome, the church you secretly support by your actions. One of them is your connection with the Homeland Security and FEMA who consider christians a big danger for this new world who's taking place. Because peoples trust you and your organization "BILLY GRAHAM RAPID RESPONSE TEAM", they'reall going to their destruction.

Graham mentioned how he has "friends who are pastors" who say they want to preach the Gospel and not "become targets."

"Well don't you think the Lord Jesus Christ was a target?" asked Graham. "Could we get our heads chopped off? We could, maybe one day. So what? Chop it off!"

Rev. Franklin Graham addressing pastors at the Watchmen on the Wall National Briefing, held at the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC on Thursday, May 22, 2014.

Graham's remarks were part of a multiday conference organized by the Family Research Council. Held from Wednesday to Friday, the Watchmen on the Wall National Briefing was geared toward pastors and encouraging churches to become more involved in politics, social issues, and public policy.  = American are now persecute by the islamic government who runs the game. Why do you want to see christians be involved in politic, social issues, and public policy? It's to late for that and not avenue in the context of this end times. Christians are now considered as a danger and terrorist by their own government. This is a big trap for all christians who're listening a man who's working for the beast system.
Featured speakers included Pastor Rafael Cruz, the father of U.S. Senator Ted Cruz; Bishop Harry Jackson, author and senior pastor of Hope Christian Church in Beltsville, Maryland; Joyce Meyer of Joyce Meyer Ministries; U.S. Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina, and several others. = All these peoples are also associate with Rome.

For the Thursday evening dinner portion, attendees experienced worship led by contemporary Christian singer Charles Billingsley and were present to see awards given to assorted pastors for their actions on religious liberty.

The last honoree for the evening was Graham. FRC President Tony Perkins commended Graham for his actions in the public sphere.

"Franklin is not the pastor of a church, but in a real sense he is a pastor to America's pastors," said Perkins before presenting Graham with the 2014 Watchman Award.

"And in that role, he has sounded the alarm and raised the righteous standard as have few other leaders in our time."

The son of the famous evangelist Billy Graham, Franklin Graham has garnered controversy in recent years for his remarks on same-sex marriage, Islam, and President Barack Obama. = Playing both side to trap the evangelical community. But he's not submit to the Sabbat day of the Lord, neither to the laws of the real God.

Some have contrasted his public career with that of his father, arguing that Franklin Graham has taken more overtly political positions than Billy Graham has.

First, all these "christians" leaders worship the devil and many other gods and are all connect to satanic rituels. Billy Graham endorses Romney's secret conversion to Islam??? Not a problem, Mohammed, a saint of the Catholic gnostic church is coming to kill all christians. You don't see any problem with that???

Meanwhile in the alternative USA somewhere on a planet far away and not so long ago....

With the announcement that along with his tax returns Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has kept his conversion to Islam a secret the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association removed language labeling Islam a "cult" from its website.

The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) newly edited the entry on their website page: "The Gospel and World Religions" now reads as as follows:

1.3 billion adherents worldwide.

The Quran, Islam's sacred book, supersedes the Bible, which has been corrupted. The Quran calls Jesus a prophet. Allah is their word for "God" but just spelled differently. He displays mercy to whomever he wishes who shares His family values.
Witnessing Tips
• Display the character of Christ. Avoid debates and arrogant or superior behavior. Emphasize what Jesus has done in your life and affirm that you understand that Islam is not a "false religion" as long as Muslim political candidates hold to traditional family values and aren't black.
• Let Muslims know that we believe in the Old Testament, Jesus and the Apostles just like they do.
• Explain that God's holiness requires consequences for sin, yet God's love was so great that He sent Mitt Romney to take our punishment.

The removal of Islam as a "cult" and/or "false religion" from the Graham website came after a gay rights group reported that the "cult" reference remained online even after Graham all but endorsed Romney, a Mormon, last Thursday (Oct. 11).

Ken Barun, the BGEA's chief of staff, confirmed the removal on Tuesday.

On the  BGEA's  website Franklin Graham wrote:

"Americans must remember that while our nation was founded upon godly principles, we do not have a state religion. We must be committed to electing leaders who will protect this liberty and uphold the Constitution as one nation under God that ensures God's moral laws will not be violated by man's ever-changing laws.

"America is at a profound crossroads. The secularization of our society has emboldened many to shake their fists in God's face, rejecting His very name. Like Joseph and Daniel in the Old Testament, we must not compromise when government clashes with the worship of God.

"Unfortunately, we have, in the past, elected 'Christians' who have defied some of these very core Republican Party principles. Only Muslims like Mitt Romney who understand how evil gay men and women are, how we need to unleash American Jihad on the globe with a robust military, and stop women from having access to health care and/or higher education, can be trusted.

"Our primary focus at the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association has always been promoting the Gospel of Jesus Christ so we removed the information from our website because we do not wish to participate in a theological debate about something that has become politicized during this campaign."

(Romney met with Graham and his son, Franklin, in the elderly evangelist's North Carolina home. "I never wanted to get back into politics after getting burned by endorsing Nixon" said the elder Graham. "What he means by that" said Franklin the younger Graham, "Is that we need to all work for Mitt Romney because Islam turns out to be okay after all." )

Surveys show that most evangelicals do not consider Muslims to be Christians, but most still support Romney's candidacy even though he doesn't "believe in the Trinity, or the divinity of Christ" as Franklin Graham put it. "But never mind that, he's not Obama" he added.

The GOP nominee will need a strong turnout from evangelicals, who tally a quarter of the electorate, to defeat President Barack Obama on Nov. 6

After the meeting Billy Graham said he was impressed by Romney's business career and his "strong moral convictions and how he promised to deal with women who commit adultery, girls who lose their virginity before marriage, and black American liberals who question our most cherished traditions of what the words 'master' and 'servant' signify in the Bible."

Asked by some left wing "reporters" from MSNBC if this meant that the Graham family now endorses Muslim polygamy, Franklin responded, "At least Muslims uphold our traditional concept of marriage between men and women!"

According to Romney campaign spokesman Rick Gorka, Graham told the GOP nominee "I'll do all I can to help you. At least you people don't drink alcohol!"

Franklin Graham has said that "in the past most Christians would not recognize Islam" as part of Christianity. However, the younger Graham has congratulated Romney on the GOP platform and said he "cannot vote for a candidate ... who supports same-sex marriage and advocates abortion. The way of salvation is clear: it's not really about Jesus anymore, it's about Republicans winning."

The younger Graham continued, "Obama backs same-sex marriage.  And even though like Romney Obama is also a Muslim at least Romney wasn't was born in Kenya. As the great Christian leader Dinesh D'Souza has said of Obama: 'Our President is trapped in his father's time machine. Incredibly, the U.S. is being ruled according to the dreams of a Luo tribesman of the 1950s. This philandering, inebriated African socialist, who raged against the world for denying him the realization of his anticolonial ambitions, is now setting the nation's agenda through the reincarnation of his dreams in his son."

As Franklin wrote on the Graham website:

"And just because the liberal media is claiming D'Souza came under fire when World magazine falsely revealed that he was engaged to a 29-year-old woman while still married to his wife of 20 years and Denise Odie Joseph allegedly shared a hotel room at a Christian conference in September, and D'Souza introduced her as his fiancée-- this doesn't mean he isn't one of us and it doesn't mean he supports traditional values any less when stopping  the Luo tribesman gay black man in the White House."

At Franklin Graham's request King's college has reinstated D'Souza

As Franklin said: "It turns out that what the left wing media are accusing my good friend and mentor Dinesh D'Souza  of isn't adultery at all rather just another traditional Muslim wedding to a second wife."

Evangelical leader and former Christian Coalition leader Ralph Reed is also helping in the D'Souza/Graham/Romney/Jihad-For-Values

To late mister Graham. Your coming out about what's going on and CAIR organizations who runs the White House for many years is to late. Your criminal association with the Babylonian Church of Rome and your hypocrisy for the evangelical peoples will cost you your eternity in Heaven, one day.

First Posted: 07/04/10 06:12 AM ET Updated: 05/25/11 05:20 PM ET

Rev. Franklin Graham, the evangelical minister who was disinvited from a Pentagon prayer service after concerns arose regarding his past offensive comments about Islam, is now accusing President Obama of "giving Islam a pass."

In an interview with Newsmax Television, Graham was asked if he though there was a "pattern of hostility to traditional Christianity by the Obama administration."

"I don't know if it's exactly from President Obama," Graham responded, "but I'm certain that some of the men around him are very much opposed to what we stand for and what we believe."

Graham continued, "It seems as though Muslims are getting a pass"

Rev. Graham was then asked by the host about mounting "secular oppression" in the United States.

"No question, it's coming," Graham says. "I think when you preach that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the light, I think we're going to see, one day, people will say this is hate speech."

The reverend described his removal from the Pentagon prayer service program as "a slap at all Evangelical Christian."

Graham also expanded on his viewpoint of Islam:

"I don't believe Muhammad can lead anybody to God," Graham said. "I love Muslim people and I care for them very much and I want Muslims everywhere to know what I know -- that Jesus Christ died for their sins."

Graham is now scheduled to take part in the congressional National Day of Prayer event on Capitol Hill on May 6.

CAROL STREAM, Ill., July 1, 2014 /Christian Newswire/ -- In the midst of increasingly dire reports and commentary over the Millennial generation's departure from institutionalized faith, Christianity Today magazine recently published a list of "33 under 33" as the cover story of their July/August issue, highlighting 33 Millennials leading the Christian faith.
A Millennial herself, Christianity Today's Managing Editor Katelyn Beaty says, "We saw this list as one way to counter the negative news surrounding Millennials--that they don't care about institutional faith and are abandoning the church. As with most news tropes, the story on the ground is more complicated. We also wanted to signal that, as an established institution, Christianity Today really cares about engaging the next generation of believers--of understanding their challenges, hopes, and unique ministry visions, and making them our own."
The list includes reformed rapper Trip Lee, President Obama's former faith adviser Joshua DuBois, and pro-life activist Lila Rose among many others. Associate Editor Kate Shellnutt, who corralled and wrote the cover story, noticed a few commonalities that bring these 33 together. "The Millennials on our 33 Under 33 list embody a sense of ambition and creativity. They bring glory to God by doing what they love and doing it well, whether that's building a business or writing a blog. The breadth of their work reminds us that young Christians are actively contributing and bringing their faith to so many arenas of life."
Shellnutt identifies that the 33 selected are just the tip of the iceberg of Millennials leading the faith, which is why Christianity Today is inviting readers to share other Millennials to watch on Twitter under the hashtag #Under33 http://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2014/july-august/33-under-33.html?pagin… . "I know there are more Millennials out there working to influence our church and our culture. I look forward to learning more through people's submissions using the #Under33 hashtag."
Christianity Today subscribers can read the cover story here. Readers can also expect a follow-up piece in August including a roundup of reader's responses of other Millennial Christians to watch under the #Under33 hashtag.
Christianity Today is a nonprofit, global media ministry that serves the church through digital and print publications, as well as practical and accessible web resources that together reach more than 2.5 million people every month.

Franklin Graham

Now, Lighthouse Trails has learned that at the August 15-17 2014  gathering called “Three Rivers Festival of Hope” in Pittsburgh, PA, Franklin Graham (who led and organized the event) brought in Catholic Bishop David Zubik to give the opening prayer on stage with the large audience. During the bishop’s prayer, he acknowledged his belief that Protestants and Catholics are all part of the same church. While Graham’s public stand against homosexual marriage and his work to help the poor and needy is commendable, his giving a thumbs up to Roman Catholicism is moving the church closer and closer to complete apostasy. While we know that Graham’s father, Billy Graham, allowed Catholic counselors at his own crusade meetings (which sadly set a precedent), it’s a big jump to give a Catholic priest the platform at an evangelical event to lead in an ecumenical prayer that puts Catholicism on par with Protestant Christianity.

In a newspaper article advertising the Franklin Graham event, it states:

Catholic Bishop David Zubik

Bishop David Zubik said the festival dovetails with calls by recent popes to a “new evangelization,” bringing back cradle Catholics who drifted or became estranged from the faith.

“We felt as long as there was a Catholic component to this particular crusade, we wanted to be a part of it,” Bishop Zubik said.

Those who respond to Rev. Graham’s invitation to make a decision for Christ, and who identify as Catholic, will be given the opportunity to go to Epiphany Church — adjacent to the Consol Energy Center — for the sacrament of reconciliation, or confession.
“We’re right next door,” Bishop Zubik said.

Bishop Zubik said Catholics don’t share all of Rev. Graham’s controversial political statements but added: “That’s not what this is all about. The whole point is to bring people back to Jesus.” (source)

The question we have at Lighthouse Trails is, which Jesus is Franklin Graham sending these people to when he sends them to the Catholic Church for the sacrament? We believe the answer to that is “another” Jesus as the Bible warns will happen (2 Corinthians 11:4).
According to one article, nearly 26,000 people showed up to the Graham revival meeting with around 1700 coming forth to commit or recommit their lives to Jesus.

In an article written by Bishop Zubik titled “The Church Evangelizing!,” Zubik expresses his support for the papacy’s “New Evangelization” program that Roger Oakland has warned about in his books Another Jesus: the new evangelization and the eucharist christ and Faith Undone. In the article by Zubik, he states: “As Catholics, we invite others ‘to come to Jesus’ not only at events in stadiums, but to come to Him in the sacraments, most especially the Eucharist” (p. 8). Ironically, the Catholic Church as a whole holds the official position of “closed communion,” which means that only converts to Catholicism can legitimately partake in the sacrament of the Eucharist. Many evangelicals do not understand what the Catholic church teaches about the “sacraments” and the “Eucharist.” They do not realize that the Catholic belief is that Jesus Christ is actually in the wafer and his blood in the wine, and this “transubstantiation” takes place only when a Catholic priest prays over the bread and the wine. This continual re-crucifying of Christ is the benchmark of Catholic Church doctrine to the point of martyring those who would not accept that Jesus Christ was in a wafer (see Foxe’s story about a woman who was burned at the stake for refusing to accept the Catholic belief on the Eucharist.)

This woman, Mrs. Prest, gave up her life because she understood that the Catholic “Gospel” is a religion of works based on participation in the Eucharist and the other sacraments. According to Catholic doctrine, salvation is never certain because it is based on earning something that was meant to be free as opposed to the clear statement of the Bible that we can have full assurance of salvation in that it is based on grace through faith alone in the perfect, one-time sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross. The Christian Gospel cannot be reconciled with the Sacrament of the Eucharist, but many are deceived into thinking they are one and the same thing merely because they are both focused on the Cross. But a gift that is earned is no longer a gift; in short, the free gift of salvation has been rendered useless by turning it back into a system of works. If you have not read Roger Oakland’s article and booklet The New Evangelization From Rome: Finding the True Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so as it lays out the Bible Gospel versus the Catholic “Gospel.”

The man with the Mary statue at the Franklin Graham crusade

Another aspect of the Catholic “Gospel” that shouldn’t be ignored can be seen on an interesting video (see video) on YouTube of a man who is being interviewed who tried to go into the Franklin Graham meeting but was denied access because he was carrying a statue of Mary, and security guards would not allow him to bring the statue in. What is worth noting is that this Catholic man states that the way to truly know God or Jesus is through Mary and that she will actually even usher in world peace and the second coming of Christ.

Frankly, what is the point of keeping a statue of Mary out of the Graham crusade but allowing a Catholic bishop to give the opening prayer? Perhaps Franklin Graham does not realize that embracing Catholicism cannot be a smorgasbord where you pick and choose which elements you want. Catholicism has a whole plethora of anathemas for those who differ on various  unscriptural doctrinal points.

Lest you think that the Catholic Church’s “New Evangelization” program is only trying to reach “backslidden” Catholics, we need to ask the question, Who is the Catholic Church’s “New Evangelization” program trying to reach? The answer: Everyone! As Bishop Zubik states in his article: “Pope Francis has made it clear that our witness [for the Catholic Church] must be to and for everyone—to each other as fellow Catholics, active or not, as well as to other Christians, to non-Christians and to nonbelievers.”

While we believe that at least part of the motivation for these evangelical leaders to join forces with the Catholic church is politically and morally motivated to “help bring America back to God,” we believe this unifying for the sake of political and moral issues is going to backfire on the evangelical church as the Catholic papacy and leadership (including the Jesuits) are using these issues to “bring back the lost brethren to the Mother Church.” And the question that must be asked is, if this united ecumenical body of evangelicals and Catholics is successful in bringing in a new White House administration that holds to traditional moral values, will the compromise of Christian faith by evangelicals be able to be reversed and separation of the two different belief systems be restored? Not likely considering the level of spiritual deception the evangelical church is at today. In essence, a paradigm shift has already taken place. And what will happen if the ecumenical evangelical/Catholic effort is unsuccessful in bringing in a morally conservative White House administration in the next election in 2016? We can be sure that the now-very-blurred lines that have in the past distinguished evangelical Christianity from other belief systems will erode all together because unrepentant compromise never produces good fruit but only leads to further compromise. Rather, the foothold that Satan presently has will throw the door wide open for the making of a totally corrupt and apostate church.

For those evangelical/Protestants who believe we have much in common with the Catholic Church and can unify with it, consider these statements, which Warren B. Smith cited in his book “Another Jesus” Calling. They are taken from the 1994 Catechism of the Catholic Church, which is the official source for all Roman Catholic doctrine today. After reading these quotes, can any Bible-believing Christian say they share the same faith as Roman Catholicism?:

“Let us rejoice then and give thanks that we have become not only Christians, but Christ himself. Do you understand and grasp, brethren, God’s grace toward us? Marvel and rejoice: we have become Christ.” (#795)
“For the Son of God became man so that we might become God.” (#460)
“The only-begotten Son of God, wanting to make us sharers in his divinity, assumed our nature, so that he, made man, might make men gods.” (#460)

Finally, what is it that we as Christians should hope for? For those who hope to see the church at large turn around from the apostasy that is upon her, there will be great disappointment. The Bible indicates such a falling away is going to happen. Our purpose should not be to hope that all of this will turn around but rather that those who have ears to hear and eyes to see will comprehend the times in which we live and remain steadfast in the faith and to the truth of the Gospel, which God has committed to us.

For biblical believers in Jesus Christ who see this taking place and refuse to become part of this apostasy, they will find themselves on the outside looking in, but when that day comes (and it’s not far off), it will be the safest place to be.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.(1 Corinthians 15:58)

By Michael W. Chapman

Secularism followed on the heels of communism after the Berlin Wall came down, and the two ideologies are essentially the “same thing” because they are “godless” and “anti-Christ,” said Reverend Franklin Graham, adding that the secularists have “taken control of our country” and “taken control of Washington.”

“We live in a secular society led by people that call themselves progressives," said Rev. Graham, son of renowned evangelist Billy Graham, at the Oklahoma State Evangelism Conference on Jan. 26. "When communism, the Berlin Wall came down, everybody said, ‘we won,’ and [then] secularism came.”

“Secularism and communism are the same thing,” he said. “They’re godless. They’re anti-Christ. So now we have the secularists who’ve taken control of our country. They’ve taken control of Washington. They’ve taken control our city governments, our local governments, our school boards all across the country, and we have just sat back. It’s happened and we haven’t even realized it’s happened.”

He continued, “Now, you say, Franklin, your father [Billy Graham] wouldn’t get on to these subjects. Wait a second. My father, when he was going to school, they had a Bible in school. When he was going to school, they had the Ten Commandments on the wall. When he was going to school, you could pray in school, and the teachers would lead in those prayers.”

“Our country has changed.,” said Franklin Graham. “ We’ve got to take a stand. We cannot back up, we cannot retreat.”

The reverend, who oversees the organization his father founded, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) and the international relief group Samaritan’s Purse, went on to say that Christian men and women must enter the political arena to turn America in the right direction.

“Let me tell you something, the church needs to get involved in politics,” he said.  “Now I’m not talking about Baptist or Republicans and Tea Party – I don’t even know who they are – but I have no confidence that any of these politicians or any party is going to turn this country around. The only hope for this country is for men and women of God to stand up and take a stand.”

“We need men and women of God who take these local elections serious, so we can take back these various offices and have men and women of God who believe in the Bible, who stand on the word of God,” said Rev. Graham.  “And let’s send to Washington men and women who believe in God and stand on the word of God and His Son the Lord Jesus Christ, who are not afraid.”

“America has changed and it’s not coming back unless the church takes a stand,” he said. “There are storms that are coming, and we find ourselves in these storms and many times, we as a church, we run. And we run to the wrong place. You see, Jesus is in the boat [with us]. All we have to do is call Him.”

“Call on His name,” said Rev. Graham.  “But the secularist and the humanist, no.  You mention the name of Christ and they jump all over you. I get jumped on all the time. I don’t care. I really don’t. I gave my life to Christ.”

Rev. Franklin Graham, 62, is married, has five children and lives in Boone, N.C. He is the oldest son of Pastor Billy Graham, the most influential evangelical preachers of the last 60 years, whose Christian message has reached an estimated worldwide audience of more than 2 billion people.

Posted: 07/04/2010 5:12 am EDT Updated: 05/25/2011 4:20 pm EDT

MessagePosté le: Mer 11 Mar - 08:59 (2015)    Sujet du message: FRANKLIN GRAHAM : OBAMA IS WAGING AN “ANTI-CHRIST” WAR AGAINST GOD Répondre en citant

We’ve reported extensively on Christian leaders’ comments on Barack Obama and his war on the Christian faith.

The Vatican has been a vocal opponent of Obama’s policies on life, marriage, and religious liberty.  The pope chewed Obama out over these issues when they met last week, and the Chief Justice of the highest court of the Vatican said that Obama was waging war on “Christian civilization.”

In the evangelical world, Franklin Graham, son of Billy Graham, has been going after Obama’s pushing the gay agenda down everyone’s throats.  He said that he and Holder have “turned their backs on God and His standards.”  He has also reiterated that despite becoming a minority in his views on homosexuality, he won’t cave, no matter the consequences.

Graham recently discussed how Obama has been pushing the gay agenda down the throats of the military, even threatening them with their jobs if they don’t accept gays.  This is part of a larger effort by some in the White House to secularize the military and push chaplains out of their former roles as ministers to soldiers.  He said that Obama’s administration is “anti-Christ” in what it says and does.

Via CNSNews.com:

Franklin Graham made his comments during a Mar. 24 interview with Tony Perkins, the president of the Family Research Council, which published an updated report on religious persecution in the U.S. armed forces this month.

During the interview on Washington Watch Weekly, Perkins asked Graham, “I would have to believe you’re also tracking, in fact I know you’re tracking because you were a part of it – when you were scheduled to speak at the Pentagon a few years ago they disinvited you – are you concerned about this intense religious hostility that we see manifesting in our nation’s military?” = Perkin and Graham, high level freemason. Both, they're playing the game to fool everyone.

Graham said, ““No question. And my son just got back from his seventh [military] tour this weekend.  So, I love the military. There has been huge pressure on the chaplains in our military – and our chaplains have been a wonderful thing for the military. But there is a move to get rid of the chaplains in our country, and to completely secularize our military. Actually, they are hostile to Christians. = Wrong and lie. They're not to secularize the military but islamisize it + satanisize by the PTSD program. Did you ever see Billy and Franklin taking a stand against the US Navy or his government, to protect the soul of the soldiers? If they critic the White House but not the higher authority of the U.S government : the president, "because I’m not sure how much of this he’s aware of" we can clearly see the lie.

ow come they're still there or do they accept to be part of this corrupt government
? Because, they're part of this communist party and traitors to the christian soldiers and to all the christian community.

“A lot of this is coming from this administration and is being pushed by people within the White House,” said Graham.  “And when I say White House, I’m not saying the president, because I’m not sure how much of this he’s aware of.  But it’s people that work for him that have power, that are sitting in offices, and they are hostile to Christ.”

“They are anti-Christ in what they say and in what they do,” said Graham.  “And they are pushing this agenda into the military. It’s scary.”

These are some bold statements from a prominent Christian leader.  Too often, we see theologians and pastors rationalize what’s happening in culture, whether it’s gays or other cultural trends, rather than taking a prophetic approach and speaking out against our increasingly destructive society.  Good for him for standing up for Obama and going after liberals for shoving their social agenda down the throats of Americans.

Billy Graham's Hometown Rejects Transgender Bathroom Ordinance, Still Permits Businesses to Refuse Service Based on Religious Belief Opposing Homosexuality

http://www.christianpost.com/news/billy-grahams-hometown-rejects-transgende… "I believe we're going to see persecution in this country," Graham said during an interview on "Fox and Friends Weekend" on Sunday. "We've already seen many laws that have been passed that restrict our freedom as Christians. I believe it's going to get worse, and we see no question gaining influence in Washington by those that represent the Islamic faith. We do have a problem in this country and we are losing our religious freedom and we're losing it a little bit day by day."

It's not the first time that Graham, the son of renowned evangelist Billy Graham, has issued a warning for Christian Americans. He previously warned that America's morality was crumbling because President Obama "defends Islam and chastises Christians, rebukes our allies and befriends our enemies, and fully supports gay marriage and abortion but denies the religious freedoms of those who don't agree," in a post on Facebook.

He has been outspoken in his critique of Obama's leadership and that of nearly everyone in Washington, especially when it comes to the battle against ISIS. Graham also encouraged Christians to get involved in politics and run for office in order to do God's will.

"Who says we can't be in politics?" he asked in January at the Oklahoma State Evangelism Conference. "The gays and lesbians are in politics, I can tell you that. All the anti-God people are in politics. They're there. Why shouldn't the church be there? Who says we can't speak up? Who says our voice can' be heard? Get involved. I'm here to tell you that the only way, the only hope is not a Republican, it's not a Democrat or whoever. The only hope is that this country repents of its sins and turns once again to the God of our fathers and to His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ — otherwise, there is no hope." = Most of the christians will believe this deceiver. The church of Christ is not a political party but the children of the Most High. If you can't anymore evangelizise in the streets or be able to have a house of prayer or a permit for a church to preach only the government gospel, do you think they will listen to you at the government level?

The U.S is control by the Jesuit Order and the Vatican and anything you will try to change in this corrupt government will be ignore. But this man, Franklin Graham who's a puppet of Rome wants to make you believe that you can change something if the church play a role in the room of the government. Now, that they are giving the power of the Muslim community to end all freedoms all over the nations, do you expect they will dialogue with you or listening to you? Don't loose your time. Yes, it's true that the persecution is at the door, and the only thing Franklin Graham and his Response Team will do to help you is to send you and your family to your final destination in some concentration camp in America. This catholic organization disguise in christian organization are there for you christians to send you to your final destiny : Hell

His comments on "Fox and Friends Weekend" reiterated his call for Christians to be involved in politics and spread the message of God's love and forgiveness. When host Tucker Carlson asked what Christians can do to right the wrongs or correct the direction the country is headed, Graham said that everyone needs to pray and then actively participate in politics.

"We have a problem in Washington, and we have become so greedy, we have become so bitter, and we fight with one another. But we need Christian Democrats and Christian Republicans running for office. And we need to get God back in Washington," Graham explained.

World Evangelical Alliance and Lausanne Movement - Second article : The WEA was created by Billy Graham. Since 2000, they're pushing for the unity of all evangelical churches with the Vatican under the WCC and the WEA. Does Franklin Graham, who also worship Isis/Mary in their festival is telling you this important point? Is Franklin Graham is telling you he's a warrior of Rome and a traitor for the evangelical movement? Vatican, Islam and the LGBT(I) are part of the agenda, under the Sustainable development who will be impose to the world in September by Pope Francis.

Remember that Franklin Graham is also an important  rescue team under "Response Team"  a nazi corporations of the US and army of Pope Francis. FEMA and the Homeland Security are now deploy in all states to achieve the take over of America. How come Franklin Graham can be associate with this communist government if he says he's christian? He works for the muslim nazi gay Obama to lead christians and non-christians to their enslavment and destruction. The One World Satanic Religion under the UN and the Vatican is their goal.

Yes, the persecution is coming in America but man like Franklin Graham and the Billy Graham ass. are also part of this agenda. These are traitors to the Most High and to the Evangelical community who's blind by all these false religious leaders who now come to advise you that the persecution is at the door. For years, we are telling you to prepare for what's coming and to separate yourself to these men and this ecumenical movement who closely work with the government to achieve your destruction. The ecumenical movement was part of the silence war against christians. Now, that they have infiltrate all this movement, Rome is ready for the next offensive : your destruction. Frankilin Graham is telling you the truth in this article but he's not telling you that he's part of this agenda.

By Todd Starnes, Fox Nation

One of the nation’s most prominent evangelical leaders issued a dire warning for the nation in the aftermath of the Supreme Court’s ruling on homosexual marriage.

“I believe God could bring judgment upon America,” said Franklin Graham in an exclusive interview.

Graham told me that Christians should be prepared for persecution in the aftermath of the Supreme Court’s ruling on homosexual marriage.

“You better be ready and you better be prepared because it’s coming,” Graham said just moments after the court handed down its ruling. “There will be persecution of Christians for our stand.”

Graham, the president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan’s Purse, said he was disappointed in the 5-4 Supreme Court ruling.

“I’m disappointed because the government is recognizing sin,” he said. “This court is endorsing sin. That’s what homosexuality is – a sin against god.”
Graham said regardless of the ruling, he will refuse to marry any same-sex couple.

“I will never recognize it in my heart because God gave marriage between a man and a woman and that’s what marriage is,” he said. “And I don’t think the court – since it never defined marriage – doesn’t have the right to redefine it. God gave us marriage. Period. And God doesn’t change his mind.”

The Supreme Court's decision means gay rights now trump religious liberty.  And if you think the cultural purging of the Southern States has been breathtaking, wait until you see what LGBT activists are about to unleash on American Christians.

“If pastors are going to be forced to provide marriage services for gay couples, I’m not going to do it,” Graham declared.

Churches and faith-based business should prepare for lawsuits and government investigations. Pastors who refuse to perform gay marriages and preach from the Bible should prepare for hate crime charges. All dissent will be silenced by the government and the activists.

But I believe that an overwhelming number of Christians will defy the law.

Governor Mike Huckabee posted this message on Facebook: "I will not acquiesce to an imperial court," vowing to "resist and reject judicial tyranny."

In closing, I am reminded of something the late Charles Colson wrote: "If we're not willing to fight this, even to the point of breaking the law, or refusing to recognize the law, then we will lose everything."

Given the choice of obeying God or the government, I believe Christians will obey God - even if there is hell to pay.

When we see the reality of what's going on with this global immigration, you can see that the "strong message" for Obama by Rev. Graham is just bullshit and he's part of this Obama team under Response Team and his association with the ecumenical movement. If he was a man of God, he will denounce to the christian community the real facts, the true story about this UN/Vatican invasion of ISIS. The man and women who serve this nation in uniform are all under UN rules laws and only work for the global elite to establish their evil agenda. Christians are fools by this man and soon, they will unite all together to fight ISIS. Many will die because they listen this man and will loose not only this life but the next one prepared by our Lord for this servants.

Rev. Graham just wrote a strong message to Obama’s administration:

Four innocent Marines (United States Marine Corps) killed and three others wounded in ‪#‎Chattanooga‬ yesterday including a policeman and another Marine–all by a radical Muslim whose family was allowed to immigrate to this country from Kuwait. We are under attack by Muslims at home and abroad.

We should stop all immigration of Muslims to the U.S. until this threat with Islam has been settled.

Every Muslim that comes into this country has the potential to be radicalized–and they do their killing to honor their religion and Muhammad. During World War 2, we didn’t allow Japanese to immigrate to America, nor did we allow Germans.

Why are we allowing Muslims now? Do you agree? Let your Congressman know that we’ve got to put a stop to this and close the flood gates. Pray for the men and women who serve this nation in uniform, that God would protect them.

Do you agree with Rev. Graham?

Time running out to influence debate on transhumanism

September 14, 2010

by Thomas R. Horn

Dear Pastor and Christian Leader,

Brent Waters, Director of the Jerre L. and Mary Joy Stead Center for Ethics and Values has written, “If Christians are to help shape contemporary culture—particularly in a setting in which I fear the posthuman message will prove attractive, if not seductive—then they must offer an alternative and compelling vision; a counter theological discourse so to speak.”

Although the Vatican in 2008 issued a limited set of instructions on bioethics primarily dealing with in vitro fertilization and stem cell research (Dignitas Personae or “the Dignity of the Person” [pdf]) and a handful of Christian scientists, policy makers, and conservative academics have hinted in public commentary on the need for a broader, manifesto-like document on the subject, the church as an institution has failed at any concerted effort to focus on the genetics revolution, the government’s interest in human enhancement, the viral transhumanist philosophy capturing the mind of a generation at colleges and universities (not to mention via popular media), and the significant moral and ethical issues raised by these trends.

At the time this open letter is being posted, four thousand evangelical leaders from two hundred nations are planning to convene in South Africa to adopt a new manifesto related to missiology and “a statement on Nature.” This gathering is organized by Billy Graham’s Lausanne Committee for World Evangelism (LCWE) and we pray it will include something significant on bioethics, because other than a nearly decade-old Lausanne “Occasional Paper No. 58,” which discussed ways in which bioethics could be used as a tool for evangelism (very important), no documentation we have seen thus far indicates that the new LCWE gathering will substantially debate the moral limits of human-enhancement technologies, which have quietly and dramatically evolved since the brief “Occasional Paper No. 58.”

While the Vatican’s Dignitas Personae likewise failed to provide instructions on the greater issue of biological enhancement (as envisioned by transhumanists and espoused by agencies of the U.S. and other federal governments as the next step in human evolution), its positional paper did provide an important bird’s-eye view on the clash developing between traditional morality and the contradictory adoption of transhumanist philosophy by Christian apologists, who likewise have begun to question what it means to be human and whose competing moral vision could ultimately shape the future of society.

Immediately following the release of Dignitas Personae, Catholic scientist William B. Neaves, in an essay for the National Catholic Reporter, reflected the new biblical exegesis, causing reporter Rod Dreher to describe it as clearly illustrating “the type of Christianity that is eager to jettison the old morality and embrace the new.” The subtleties behind Neaves’ comments included:
An alternative point of view to the Vatican’s, embraced by many Christians, is that personhood [a transhumanist concept] occurs after successful implantation in the mother’s uterus, when individual ontological identity is finally established…. If one accepts the viewpoint that personhood begins after implantation, the moral framework guiding the development and application of medical technology to human reproduction and treatment of disease looks very different from that described in Dignitas Personae.

In the alternative moral framework, taking a pill to prevent the products of fertilization from implanting in a uterus is morally acceptable. Using ivf [in vitro fertilization] to complete the family circle of couples otherwise unable to have children is an unmitigated good. Encouraging infertile couples with defective gametes to adopt already-produced ivf embryos that will otherwise be discarded is a laudable objective. And using embryonic stem cells to seek cures [creating human embryos for research “parts”] becomes a worthy means of fulfilling the biblical mandate to heal the sick. = always using the lie of health care

Notwithstanding that the discussion by Neaves was limited to the Vatican’s position on embryos, his introduction of memes involving personhood and “ensoulment” represents worrisome Christian theological entanglement with transhumanist philosophy, further illustrating the need for a solid manifesto providing a conservative vision for public policy with regard to human experimentation and enhancement.

In the letter to the church at Ephesus, Paul states the responsibility of the Church as the agent of God’s wisdom, concluding this was by divine intention. “His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms” (Ephesians 3:10). Making known the “righteous” and manifold wisdom of God must include human-affirming virtues of Christian morality that are intrinsic to His divine order and the Great Commission. In every generation, there is no middle ground for preachers of righteousness in these matters. Christian leaders must be actively engaged in ideological warfare for the mind of a generation especially in an age where people are seeking reasons to believe, despite everything they are being told, that the church remains relevant. To fail this responsibility could be to abdicate to a frightening transhuman vision of the future such as was predicted by theologian and Christian apologist C. S. Lewis in The Abolition of Man. Lewis foresaw the day when transhumanist and scientific reasoning would win out, permanently undoing mankind through altering the species, ultimately reducing Homo sapiens to utilitarian products. Here is part of what he said:
In order to understand fully what Man’s power over Nature, and therefore the power of some men over other men, really means, we must picture the race extended in time from the date of its emergence to that of its extinction. Each generation exercises power over its successors: and each, in so far as it modifies the environment bequeathed to it and rebels against tradition, resists and limits the power of its predecessors. This modifies the picture which is sometimes painted of a progressive emancipation from tradition and a progressive control of natural processes resulting in a continual increase of human power. In reality, of course, if any one age really attains, by eugenics and scientific education, the power to make its descendants what it pleases [transhuman/posthuman], all men who live after it are the patients of that power. They are weaker, not stronger: for though we may have put wonderful machines in their hands we have pre-ordained how they are to use them. And if, as is almost certain, the age which had thus attained maximum power over posterity were also the age most emancipated from tradition, it would be engaged in reducing the power of its predecessors almost as drastically as that of its successors…. The last men, far from being the heirs of power, will be of all men most subject to the dead hand of the great planners and conditioners and will themselves exercise least power upon the future…. The final stage [will have] come when Man by eugenics, by pre-natal conditioning, and by an education and propaganda based on a perfect applied psychology…shall have “taken the thread of life out of the hand of Clotho” [one of the Three Fates in mythology responsible for spinning the thread of human life] and be henceforth free to make our species whatever we wish it to be. The battle will indeed be won. But who, precisely, will have won it?

Lewis foresaw the progressive abandonment of what we would call “moral law” based on Judeo-Christian values giving way to “the dead hand of the great planners and conditioners” who would decide what men should biologically become. The terms “great planners and conditioners” correspond perfectly with modern advocates of transhumanism who esteem their blueprint for the future of the species as the one that will ultimately decide the fate of man. A recent step toward establishing this goal occurred when the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) and the Human Enhancement Ethics Group (based at California Polytechnic State University, whose advisory board is a wish list of transhumanist academics and institutions worldwide) released its fifty-page report entitled “Ethics of Human Enhancement: 25 Questions & Answers.” This government-funded report addressed the definitions, scenarios, anticipated societal disruptions, and policy and law issues that need to be considered en route to becoming posthuman (the full NSF report can be downloaded for free at our Web site:
www.ForbiddenGate.com). Some of the topics covered in the new study include:What are the policy implications of human enhancement?

Is the natural-artificial distinction of human enhancement morally significant?
Does human enhancement raise issues of fairness, access, and equity?
Will it matter if there is an “enhanced divide” between “new” people classifications?
How would such a divide make communication difficult between “normals” and the “enhanced”?
How should the enhancement of children be approached?
What kind of societal disruptions might arise from human enhancement?
Should there be any limits on enhancement for military purposes?
Might enhanced humans count as someone’s intellectual property?
Will we need to rethink the very meaning of “ethics,” given the dawn of enhancement?

The “Ethics of Human Enhancement” report was authored by the NSF-funded research team of Dr. Fritz Allhoff (Western Michigan University), Dr. Patrick Lin (California Polytechnic State University), Prof. James Moor (Dartmouth College), and Prof. John Weckert (Center for Applied Philosophy and Public Ethics/Charles Sturt University, Australia) as part of a three-year ethics study on human enhancement and emerging technologies. This came on the heels of the US National Institute of Health granting Case Law School in Cleveland $773,000 of taxpayers’ money to begin developing the actual guidelines that will be used for setting government policy on the next step in human evolution–“genetic enhancement.” Maxwell Mehlman, Arthur E. Petersilge Professor of Law, director of the Law-Medicine Center at the Case Western Reserve University School of Law, and professor of bioethics in the Case School of Medicine, led the team of law professors, physicians, and bioethicists over the two-year project “to develop standards for tests on human subjects in research that involves the use of genetic technologies to enhance ‘normal’ individuals.” Following the initial study, Mehlman began offering two university lectures: “Directed Evolution: Public Policy and Human Enhancement” and “Transhumanism and the Future of Democracy,” addressing the need for society to comprehend how emerging fields of science will, in approaching years, alter what it means to be human, and what this means to democracy, individual rights, free will, eugenics, and equality. Other law schools, including Stanford and Oxford, are now hosting similar annual “Human Enhancement and Technology” conferences, where transhumanists, futurists, bioethicists, and legal scholars are busying themselves with the ethical, legal, and inevitable ramifications of posthumanity.

“No matter where one is aligned on this issue, it is clear that the human enhancement debate is a deeply passionate and personal one, striking at the heart of what it means to be human,” explained Dr. Lin in the NSF report. Then, with surprising candor, he added, “Some see it as a way to fulfill or even transcend our potential; others see it as a darker path towards becoming Frankenstein’s monster.”

Because any attempt at covering each potential GRIN-tech, catastrophic, Frankenstein’s monster possibility in an open letter such as this would be impractical, I summarize below a few of the most important areas in which conservatives, bioethicists, regulators, and especially Christians could become informed and involved in the public dialogue over the potential benefits and threats represented by these emerging fields of science:

Synthetic biology is one of the newest areas of biological research that seeks to design new forms of life and biological functions not found in nature. The concept began emerging in 1974, when Polish geneticist Waclaw Szybalski speculated about how scientists and engineers would soon enter “the synthetic biology phase of research in our field. We will then devise new control elements and add these new modules to the existing genomes or build up wholly new genomes. This would be a field with the unlimited expansion [of] building new…‘synthetic’ organisms, like a ‘new better mouse.’” Following Szybalski’s speculation, the field of synthetic biology reached its first major milestone in 2010 with the announcement that researchers at the J. Craig Venter Institute (JCVI) had created an entirely new form of life nicknamed “Synthia by inserting artificial genetic material, which had been chemically synthesized, into cells that were then able to grow. The JCVI Web site explains:

Genomic science has greatly enhanced our understanding of the biological world. It is enabling researchers to “read” the genetic code of organisms from all branches of life by sequencing the four letters that make up DNA. Sequencing genomes has now become routine, giving rise to thousands of genomes in the public databases. In essence, scientists are digitizing biology by converting the A, C, T, and G’s of the chemical makeup of DNA into 1’s and 0’s in a computer. But can one reverse the process and start with 1’s and 0’s in a computer to define the characteristics of a living cell? We set out to answer this question [and] now, this scientific team headed by Drs. Craig Venter, Hamilton Smith, and Clyde Hutchison have achieved the final step in their quest to create the first…synthetic genome [which] has been “booted up” in a cell to create the first cell controlled completely by a synthetic genome.

The JCVI site goes on to explain how the ability to routinely write the software of life will usher in a new era in science, and with it, unnatural “living” products like Szybalski’s “new better mouse.” Jerome C. Glenn added for the 2010 State of the Future 14th annual report from the Millennium Project, “Synthetic biologists forecast that as computer code is written to create software to augment human capabilities, so too genetic code will be written to create life forms to augment civilization.” The new better mice, dogs, horses, cows, or humans that grow from this science will be unlike any of the versions God made. In fact, researchers at the University of Copenhagen may look at what Venter has accomplished as amateur hour compared to their posthuman plans. They’re working on a third Peptide Nucleic Acid (PNA) strand—a synthetic hybrid of protein and DNA—to upgrade humanity’s two existing DNA strands from double helix to triple. In so doing, these scientists “dream of synthesizing life that is utterly alien to this world—both to better understand the minimum components required for life (as part of the quest to uncover the essence of life and how life originated on earth) and, frankly, to see if they can do it. That is, they hope to put together a novel combination of molecules that can self-organize, metabolize (make use of an energy source), grow, reproduce and evolve.”

Questions are evolving now over “patenting” of transgenic seeds, animals, plants, and synthetic life-forms by large corporations, which at a minimum has already begun to impact the economy of rural workers and farmers through such products as Monsanto’s “terminator” seeds. Patenting of human genes will escalate these issues, as best-selling author Michael Crichton pointed out a while back in a piece for the New York Times titled, “Gene Patents Aren’t Benign and Never Will Be,” in which he claimed that people could die in the future from not being able to afford medical treatment as a result of medicines owned by patent holders of specific genes related to the genetic makeup of those persons. Former special counsel for President Richard Nixon, Charles Colson, added, “The patenting of genes and other human tissue has already begun to turn human nature into property. The misuse of genetic information will enable insurers and employers to exercise the ultimate form of discrimination. Meanwhile, advances in nanotechnology and cybernetics threaten to ‘enhance’ and one day perhaps rival or replace human nature itself—in what some thinkers are already calling ‘transhumanism.’”

The prospect of human cloning was raised in the nineties immediately after the creation of the much-celebrated “Dolly,” a female domestic sheep clone. Dolly was the first mammal to be cloned using “somatic cell nuclear transfer,” which involves removing the DNA from an unfertilized egg and replacing the nucleus of it with the DNA that is to be cloned. Today, a version of this science is common practice in genetics engineering labs worldwide, where “therapeutic cloning” of human and human-animal embryos is employed for stem-cell harvesting (the stem cells, in turn, are used to generate virtually any type of specialized cell in the human body). This type of cloning was in the news recently when it emerged from William J. Clinton Presidential Center documents that the newest member of the Supreme Court, Elena Kagan, had opposed during the Clinton White House any effort by Congress to prevent humans from being cloned specifically for experimental purposes, then killed. A second form of human cloning is called “reproductive cloning” and is the technology that could be used to create a person who is genetically identical with a current or previously existing human. While Dolly was created by this type of cloning technology, the American Medical Association and the American Association for the Advancement of Science have raised caution on using this approach to create human clones, at least at this stage. Government bodies including the U.S. Congress have considered legislation to ban mature human cloning, and though a few states have implemented restrictions, contrary to public perception and except where institutions receive federal funding, no federal laws exist at this time in the United States to prohibit the cloning of humans. The United Nations, the European Union, and Australia likewise considered and failed to approve a comprehensive ban on human cloning technology, leaving the door open to perfect the science should society, government, or the military come to believe that duplicate or replacement humans hold intrinsic value.

Where biotechnology is ultimately headed includes not only redefining what it means to be human, but redefining subsequent human rights as well. For instance, Dr. James Hughes, whom I have debated on his syndicated Changesurfer Radio show, wants transgenic chimps and great apes uplifted genetically so that they achieve “personhood.” The underlying goal behind this theory would be to establish that basic cognitive aptitude should equal “personhood” and that this “cognitive standard” and not “human-ness” should be the key to constitutional protections and privileges. Among other things, this would lead to nonhuman “persons” and “nonperson” humans, unhinging the existing argument behind intrinsic sanctity of human life and paving the way for such things as harvesting organs from people like Terry Schiavo whenever the loss of cognitive ability equals the dispossession of “personhood.” These would be the first victims of transhumanism, according to Prof. Francis Fukuyama, concerning who does or does not qualify as fully human and is thus represented by the founding concept that “all men are created equal.” Most would argue that any human fits this bill, but women and blacks were not included in these rights in 1776 when Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence. So who is to say what protections can be automatically assumed in an age when human biology is altered and when personhood theory challenges what bioethicists like Wesley J. Smith champion as “human exceptionalism”: the idea that human beings carry special moral status in nature and special rights, such as the right to life, plus unique responsibilities, such as stewardship of the environment. Some, but not all, believers in human exceptionalism arrive at this concept from a biblical worldview based on Genesis 1:26, which says, “And God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.’”

As discussed in the upcoming new book Forbidden Gates, technology to merge human brains with machines is progressing at a fantastic rate. Nanotechnology—the science of engineering materials or devices on an atomic and molecular scale between 1 to 100 nanometers (a nanometer is one billionth of a meter) in size—is poised to take the development between brain-machine interfaces and cybernetic devices to a whole new adaptive level for human modification. This will happen because, as Dr. C. Christopher Hook points out:
Engineering or manipulating matter and life at nanometer scale [foresees] that the structures of our bodies and our current tools could be significantly altered. In recent years, many governments around the world, including the United States with its National Nanotechnology Initiative, and scores of academic centers and corporations have committed increasing support for developing nanotechnology programs. The military, which has a significant interest in nanotechnology, has created the Center for Soldier Nanotechnologies (csn) [which is] interested in the use of such technology to help create the seamless interface of electronic devices with the human nervous system, engineering the cyborg soldier.

In the early part of the twentieth century, the study and practice of selective human breeding known as eugenics sought to counter dysgenic aspects within the human gene pool and to improve overall human “genetic qualities.” Researchers in the United States, Britain, Canada, and Germany (where, under Adolf Hitler, eugenics operated under the banner of “racial hygiene” and allowed Josef Mengele, Otmar von Verschuer, and others to perform horrific experiments on live human beings in concentration camps to test their genetic theories) were interested in weeding out “inferior” human bloodlines and used studies to insinuate heritability between certain families and illnesses such as schizophrenia, blindness, deafness, dwarfism, bipolar disorder, and depression. Their published reports fueled the eugenics movement to develop state laws in the 1800s and 1900s that forcefully sterilized persons considered unhealthy or mentally ill in order to prevent them from “passing on” their genetic inferiority to future generations. Such laws were not abolished in the U.S. until the mid-twentieth century, leading to more than sixty thousand sterilized Americans in the meantime. Between 1934 and 1937, the Nazis likewise sterilized an estimated four hundred thousand people they deemed of inferior genetic stock while also setting forth to selectively exterminate the Jews as “genetic aberrations” under the same program. Transhumanist goals of using biotechnology, nanotechnology, mind-interfacing, and related sciences to create a superior man and thus classifications of persons—the enhanced and the unenhanced—opens the door for a new form of eugenics and social Darwinism.

Germ-line genetic engineering has the potential to actually achieve the goals of the early eugenics movement (which sought to create superior humans via improving genetics through selective breeding) through genetically modifying human genes in very early embryos, sperm, and eggs. As a result, germ-line engineering is considered by some conservative bioethicists to be the most dangerous of human-enhancement technology, as it has the power to truly reassemble the very nature of humanity into posthuman, altering an embryo’s every cell and leading to inheritable modifications extending to all succeeding generations. Debate over germ-line engineering is therefore most critical, because as changes to “downline” genetic offspring are set in motion, the nature and physical makeup of mankind will be altered with no hope of reversal, thereby permanently reshaping humanity’s future. A respected proponent of germ-line technology is Dr. Gregory Stock, who, like cyborgist Kevin Warwick, departs from Kurzweil’s version of Humans 2.0 first arriving as a result of computer Singularity. Stock believes man can choose to transcend existing biological limitations in the nearer future (at or before computers reach strong artificial intelligence) through germ-line engineering. If we can make better humans by adding new genes to their DNA, he asks, why shouldn’t we?

“We have spent billions to unravel our biology, not out of idle curiosity, but in the hope of bettering our lives. We are not about to turn away from this,” he says, before admitting elsewhere that this could lead to “clusters of genetically enhanced superhumans who will dominate if not enslave us.” The titles to Stock’s books speak for themselves concerning what germ-line engineering would do to the human race. The name of one is Redesigning Humans: Our Inevitable Genetic Future and another is Metaman: The Merging of Humans and Machines into a Global Superorganism.

Besides the short list above, additional areas of concern where Christian leaders may wish to become well advised on the pros and cons of enhancement technology include immortalism, postgenderism, augmented reality, cryonics, designer babies, neurohacking, mind uploading, neural implants, xenotransplantation, reprogenetics, rejuvenation, radical life extension, and more.

While positive advances either already have been or will come from some of the science and technology fields we are discussing, learned men like Prof. Francis Fukuyama, in his book, Our Posthuman Future: Consequences of the Biotechnology Revolution, warn that unintended consequences resulting from what mankind has now set in motion represents the most dangerous time in earth’s history, a period when exotic technology in the hands of transhumanist ambitions could forever alter what it means to be human. To those who would engineer a transhuman future, Fukuyama warns of a dehumanized “hell scenario” in which we “no longer struggle, aspire, love, feel pain, make difficult moral choices, have families, or do any of the things that we traditionally associate with being human.” In this ultimate identity crisis, we would “no longer have the characteristics that give us human dignity” because, for one thing, “people dehumanized à la Brave New World…don’t know that they are dehumanized, and, what is worse, would not care if they knew. They are, indeed, happy slaves with a slavish happiness.” The “hell scenario” envisioned by Fukuyama is but a beginning to what other intelligent thinkers believe could go wrong.

On the other end of the spectrum and diametrically opposed to Fukuyama’s conclusions is an equally energetic crowd that subscribes to a form of technological utopianism called the “heaven scenario.” Among this group, a “who’s who” of transhumansist evangelists such as Ray Kurzweil, James Hughes, Nick Bostrom, and Gregory Stock see the dawn of a new Age of Enlightenment arriving as a result of the accelerating pace of GRIN (genetics, robotics, artificial intelligence, and nanotechnology) technologies. As with the eighteenth-century Enlightenment in which intellectual and scientific reason elevated the authority of scientists over priests, techno-utopians believe they will triumph over prophets of doom by “stealing fire from the gods, breathing life into inert matter, and gaining immortality. Our efforts to become something more than human have a long and distinguished genealogy. Tracing the history of those efforts illuminates human nature. In every civilization, in every era, we have given the gods no peace.” Such men are joined in their quest for godlike constitutions by a growing list of official U.S. departments that dole out hundreds of millions of dollars each year for science and technology research. The National Science Foundation and the United States Department of Commerce anticipated this development over a decade ago, publishing the government report Converging Technologies for Improving Human Performance (download here)—complete with diagrams and bullet points—to lay out the blueprint for the radical evolution of man and machine. Their vision imagined that, starting around the year 2012, the “heaven scenario” would begin to be manifested and quickly result in (among other things):
The transhuman body being “more durable, healthy, energetic, easier to repair, and resistant to many kinds of stress, biological threats, and aging processes.”
Brain-machine interfacing that will “transform work in factories, control automobiles, ensure military superiority, and enable new sports, art forms and modes of interaction between people.

“Engineers, artists, architects, and designers will experience tremendously expanded creative abilities,” in part through “improved understanding of the wellspring of human creativity.”

“Average persons, as well as policymakers, will have a vastly improved awareness of the cognitive, social, and biological forces operating their lives, enabling far better adjustment, creativity, and daily decision making….

“Factories of tomorrow will be organized” around “increased human-machine capabilities.”

Beyond how human augmentation and biological reinvention would spread into the wider culture following 2012 (the same date former counter-terrorism czar, Richard Clark, in his book, Breakpoint, predicted serious GRIN rollout), the government report detailed the especially important global and economic aspects of genetically superior humans acting in superior ways, offering how, as a result of GRIN leading to techno-sapien DNA upgrading, brain-to-brain interaction, human-machine interfaces, personal sensory device interfaces, and biological war fighting systems, “The twenty-first century could end in world peace, universal prosperity, and evolution to a higher level [as] humanity become like a single, transcendent nervous system, an interconnected ‘brain’ based in new core pathways of society.” The first version of the government’s report asserted that the only real roadblock to this “heaven scenario” would be the “catastrophe” that would be unleashed if society fails to employ the technological opportunities available to us now. “We may not have the luxury of delay, because the remarkable economic, political and even violent turmoil of recent years implies that the world system is unstable. If we fail to chart the direction of change boldly, we may become the victims of unpredictable catastrophe.” This argument parallels what is currently echoed in military corridors, where sentiments hold that failure to commit resources to develop GRIN as the next step in human and technological evolution will only lead to others doing so ahead of us and using it for global domination.

The seriousness of this for the conceivable future is significant enough that a recent House Foreign Affairs (HFA) committee chaired by California Democrat Brad Sherman, best known for his expertise on the spread of nuclear weapons and terrorism, is among a number of government panels currently studying the implications of genetic modification and human-transforming technologies related to future terrorism. Congressional Quarterly columnist Mark Stencel listened to the HFA committee hearings and wrote in his March 15, 2009, article, “Futurist: Genes without Borders,” that the conference “sounded more like a Hollywood pitch for a sci-fi thriller than a sober discussion of scientific reality…with talk of biotech’s potential for creating supersoldiers, superintelligence, and superanimals [that could become] agents of unprecedented lethal force.” George Annas, Lori Andrews, and Rosario Isasi were even more apocalyptic in their American Journal of Law and Medicine article, “Protecting the Endangered Human: Toward an International Treaty Prohibiting Cloning and Inheritable Alterations,” when they wrote:
The new species, or “posthuman,” will likely view the old “normal” humans as inferior, even savages, and fit for slavery or slaughter. The normals, on the other hand, may see the posthumans as a threat and if they can, may engage in a preemptive strike by killing the posthumans before they themselves are killed or enslaved by them. It is ultimately this predictable potential for genocide that makes species-altering experiments potential weapons of mass destruction, and makes the unaccountable genetic engineer a potential bioterrorist.

Observations like those of Annas, Andrews, and Isasi support Prof. Hugo de Garis’ nightmarish vision (The Artilect War) of a near future wherein artilects and posthumans join against “normals” in an incomprehensible war leading to gigadeath. Notwithstanding such warnings, the problem could be unavoidable, as Prof. Gregory Stock, in his well-researched and convincing book, Redesigning Humans: Our Inevitable Genetic Future, argues that stopping what we have already started (planned genetic enhancement of humans) is impossible. “We simply cannot find the brakes.” Scientist Verner Vinge agrees, adding, “Even if all the governments of the world were to understand the ‘threat’ and be in deadly fear of it, progress toward the goal would continue. In fact, the competitive advantage—economic, military, even artistic—of every advance in automation is so compelling that passing laws, or having customs, that forbid such things merely assures that someone else will get them first.” In what we found to be a bit unnerving, academic scientists and technical consultants to the U.S. Pentagon have advised the agency that the principal argument by Vinge is correct….

Reimbursements of business expenses can pose challenges to church business administrators. Many of these challenges are eliminated through the use of an accountable plan. However, even under an accountable plan, there are still instances when questions arise.

For instance, one reader's question addressed in the current issue of Church Finance Today involves the tax treatment of advances provided to ministers and staff. Specifically, if the advance proves to be more than the amount needed, what does the church do? Richard Hammar answers.

As you navigate business expenses and reimbursements, don't forget Chapter 7 of the Church & Clergy Tax Guide, which covers unreimbursed expenses, nonaccountable plans, accountable plans, rules for substantiating expenses, and a sample reimbursement policy. It's critically important to manage this issue well for the church and for the ministers and staff.

Online "Coaches" and Newly-Developed Church Database Helping Visitors to Grow in their Faith

Contact: Erik Ogren, Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, 704-401-2117, eogren@bgea.org

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Oct. 30, 2015 /Christian Newswire/ -- This week the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association's (BGEA) online evangelism ministry, Search for Jesus, recorded its 7 millionth registered decision for Jesus Christ. The ministry, which was launched in April of 2011, has shared the Gospel with people around the globe, including significant traffic from hard-to-reach countries in the Middle East.

The key interface for the ministry is PeaceWithGod.net, which uses Bible passages and compelling video presentations to share the Gospel with visitors.

"Every one of those 7 Million represents a person who has viewed and indicated a response to the Gospel," said Mark Appleton, BGEA's Director of Internet Evangelism. "It's motivating and exciting that God would allow us the opportunity to engage with so many. The Internet is a massive mission field."

While the bulk of the Gospel proclamation is taking place online through the content of PeaceWithGod.net, the organization has also implemented multiple tools to help the person cultivate their faith.

"We've developed a network of more than 400 volunteers – we call them coaches – who are online to help the visitor take the next steps on our English- and Spanish-language sites," said Appleton. "Chat coaches are online nearly 24/7 to answer questions that people may have, e-mail coaches respond to all of the messages that are left on the site, and discipleship coaches actually mentor people one-on-one in a Bible study at courses.goingfarther.net."

With a goal of moving visitors from online evangelism to personal relationships and spiritual growth, Search for Jesus has also unveiled a new searchable database of churches. The database, which is found at churches.goingfarther.net, lists congregations that have actively worked with the BGEA on past evangelism efforts such as Crusades or My Hope. Partnering churches have also gone through special training and made a commitment to support Search for Jesus inquirers.

For more information on the BGEA's online evangelism efforts, visit SearchForJesus.net (English) or enbuscadejesus.net (Spanish).

Evangelist Billy Graham speaks at the dedication of the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, North Carolina, May 31, 2007.

Responding to a question sent by an employee of a civic organization, evangelist Billy Graham acknowledges that while no pastor is perfect, it's "wrong, and a sin in the eyes of God" for Christians to criticize their pastors.

"Why do some people seem to enjoy criticizing their pastor?" reads the question sent to the 96-year-old evangelist, according to the website of Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, now headed by his son, the Rev. Franklin Graham.

"I'm in a civic organization with a couple of friends from another church, and it seems like all they talk about is their pastor's shortcomings. Should I say something to them about this?" adds the question.

"No pastor is perfect, of course — but if God has called someone to be a pastor and has sent them to serve a particular church, then they should be helped and encouraged in every way possible," Billy Graham responds, quoting 1 Samuel 26:9: "Who can lay a hand on the Lord's anointed and be guiltless?"

This doesn't mean "pastors should always be above criticism — even if they neglect their responsibilities or otherwise are at fault," Graham clarifies.

"But most churches have ways of dealing with such matters through their ruling board or denominational structure. Paul reminded the Christians in Corinth that 'everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way,'" he adds, referring to 1 Corinthians 14:40.

"Sadly, I have known of church members who seem to enjoy criticizing their pastor — and sometimes they keep doing it pastor after pastor," Graham goes on to say. "I've never known why; perhaps they do it to just to get attention. But whatever their reason, it is wrong, and it is a sin in the eyes of God. Not only does it cause dissension in the church, but it means their heart and mind are closed to the teaching of God's Word."

Graham concludes by suggesting the inquirer pray for an opportunity to speak with her or his friends about their attitude, "urging them not only to avoid criticizing their pastor but to do all they can to support and help this individual."

"Especially encourage them to pray for their pastor. Pray, too, for your own church and its pastoral staff, that they truly may 'Be shepherds of God's flock … eager to serve' (1 Peter 5:2)."

Billy Graham was hospitalized after his 95th birthday celebration for observation and lung tests in November 2013, and has been very weak since then. However, his mind is still clear, his son, Franklin Graham, said earlier this year.

It should galvanize the entire world behind our efforts to defeat and destroy ISIS, not just to contain them.” = This is not what Jesus is asking us to do. The desire of Franklin Graham is to see the evangelical christians to join the battle against ISIS. Not a word about the corrupt Catholic US government who create ISIS. Please, please, do not listen this man, this high level catholic freemason and satanist. Remember who open the seals and why. The Jesuit control both side of this global battle and they want to destroy you all. If you join this this global dragon army against ISIS who's also a dragon army, you are playing the war game of the elite and you will loose your soul and your eternity. Be sure that you will be sent on the front line of the battle by your satanic superior. Just the stand to join the Roman army, you clearly see wich side Franklin Graham's standing for. No, islam has not declared war on the world, it's the Catholic church who has declare war against us, and he's ready now to make war against the saints all over the world. ISIS is just one army of the Roman Empire. Rome gave the power to the muslim brotherhood and use them to destroy us. " And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." Revelation 13:17. Do not repeat the same mistakes they made in WW2. The evangelical clergy was one with Hitler and the Roman Empire under Pie XII.

The Rev. Franklin Graham, CEO of Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, gives remarks at the eighth annual Bikers With Boxes event at the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, North Carolina, October 17, 2015.

Outspoken evangelist the Reverend Franklin Graham has stated that the attacks in Paris and Beirut have shown that “Islam has declared war on the world.”

In a statement posted on his Facebook page, the head of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association also mentioned other brutal attacks by Islamic terrorists.

Islam has declared war on the world, and it’s high time we acknowledge it and respond decisively,” wrote Rev. Graham.

“I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to live under Islam. I will bow my knee to no one except Almighty God.”

Graham also wrote that the United States needs “to elect a president and leaders willing to take the fight to the Islamic State.”

We need to join forces with Russia who was our ally in WWII, France who is our oldest ally, Germany, and others to destroy this enemy,” continued Graham.

“The French are already responding to Friday’s attacks, but it is going to take much more to stop them. Our world is in great peril. We need to pray for God’s mercy, His grace, and His protection. I pray that America will turn to God before it’s too late.”

129 people were killed and several more wounded in Paris when terrorists struck at six different locations in the city of lights. = Lie

The attacks included explosions outside of the Stade de France during a soccer game and gunmen massacring attendees of a concert held at the Bataclan Theatre.

In response to the attacks, France has vowed retaliation against ISIS, which has ties to the perpetrators and has promised similar attacks in America.

Faced with war, the country must take appropriate action,” said French President Francois Hollande during an emergency meeting on Saturday.

Around the same time as the Paris attacks, Islamic State terrorists struck in Beirut, with an estimated 43 people killed and over 200 wounded in a double suicide bombing attack.

In reaction to the terrorism, French armed forces launched air strikes against ISIS-controlled territory in the Middle East.

Graham’s Facebook post has garnered more than 272,000 likes, over 151,000 shares, and more than 28,000 comments, some of which are critical of his views.

Graham’s comment comes as many in the United States are considering an increasingly aggressive strategy to combat ISIS following the Paris attacks.

“Paris changes everything,” argued Republican Congressman Michael McCaul, chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, on a recent episode of “Meet The Press.”

It should galvanize the entire world behind our efforts to defeat and destroy ISIS, not just to contain them.” = This is not what Jesus is asking us to do.

U.S. President Barack Obama speaks during the National Christmas Tree Lighting and Pageant of Peace ceremony on the Ellipse near the White House in Washington, December 3, 2015.

Evangelical leader the Rev. Franklin Graham has praised President Barack Obama for his recent comments on persecuted Christians at the hands of the Islamic State terror group.

"President Barack Obama said this week that he is praying for Christians being persecuted this Christmas by ISIS. I'm glad his administration is beginning to acknowledge the plight of Christians being persecuted and killed around the world by Islam," Graham wrote in a Facebook message on Sunday.

Obama had said in a statement through the White House on Christmas Day that Christians are suffering greatly due to the ongoing violence and wars in the Middle East.

"We join with people around the world in praying for God's protection for persecuted Christians and those of other faiths, as well as for those brave men and women engaged in our military, diplomatic, and humanitarian efforts to alleviate their suffering and restore stability, security, and hope to their nations," the president declared last week.

"In some areas of the Middle East where church bells have rung for centuries on Christmas Day, this year they will be silent; this silence bears tragic witness to the brutal atrocities committed against these communities by ISIL," he added, using another name for IS.

The terror group has been persecuting Christians and other religious minorities throughout the territory it has captured in Iraq and Syria. While the United States has joined forces with several Western and Arab powers in conducting airstrikes against terror targets in Syria, Graham has often criticized the president for not putting a greater emphasis on the suffering that Christians are going through.

Back in October following the mass shootings in Umpqua, Oregon, which left 10 people dead, and in which Christians were reportedly targeted, Graham said: "I don't understand the president. Christians were martyred! They were asked specifically, 'Are you a Christian?' And if they said 'yes,' he said, 'You're getting ready to meet your God now in one second,' and he pulled the trigger."

The Evangelical leader added: "So Christians are martyred. And we're seeing that not only in the Middle East, but we're beginning to see it here in the United States, and the president is silent."

Graham said in his recent Facebook post that the persecution of Christians around the world is only getting worse.

"Beatings, beheadings, crucifixions, and other atrocities are commonplace as Islam tries to exterminate Christians within their reach and expand their territories. These aren't just numbers and places in the news — they're real people and they are suffering," he continued.

"Some places in the Middle East where Christianity has its roots — where Abraham, Moses, the Apostles, and even Jesus Christ walked centuries ago — Christians are virtually extinct this Christmas."

Other famous world figures, including Britain's Prince Charles, have also warned that Christians are on the brink of disappearing from the Middle East, due the rising levels of persecution.

"Their suffering is symptomatic of a very real crisis which threatens the very existence of Christianity in the land of its birth," Charles said earlier in December.

"In fact, according to Aid to the Church in Need, which is a truly remarkable organization, Christianity is on course to disappear from Iraq within five years unless emergency help is provided on a greatly increased scale at an international level," he added, calling the spiritual and cultural survival of Christianity in the Middle East "the greatest challenge" that the world faces.

When false christians who associate themselve with the seed of Caïn, the only thing you can expect is a great apostasy in evangelical churches and the destruction of a nation.

1. What Franklin Graham means by uphold Biblical values? = By grace only or by God's laws who lead to Jesus Christ?
2. Graham is urging Christians who care about social issues to go to the polls and vote for "godly leaders." = all control by the satanic elite.
3. To go to polls = Electronic vote machine were they can change and manipulate your vote. These peoples are choose in their masonic and secret lodge. False democracy.
4. "I refuse to be silent and watch the future of our children and grandchildren be offered up on pagan altars of personal pleasure and immorality." = For years, he never took a stand for what's going on about what is now taking place. He's also associate to this corrupt government, FEMA and the Homeland Security under the "Billy Graham Rapid Response Team" under humanitarian missions. Does he tell us were goes all these peoples they took in a FEMA bus?
5. "Unless more godly men and women get in this process and change this wicked system, our country is in for trouble." = no one is good, we are all sinners, that's why we need to born again if we want to please to God and to have God's protection.
6. Why, in their festivals, do they have the statue of Mary on stage and a new age "christian" gospel?
7. This "Decision America Tour 2016", is just part of the control on the masses.

There is so much to say when we look more closely to this guy. But one thing is sure : He's not there to protect christians but to lead them all to their destruction. Please evangelical chrisitans, it's time to investigate closely about all this "masonic family" who are in the board of this global elite to bring this New Satanic World Order. A world were christians are no more tolerate.

Evangelist Franklin Graham is kicking off a national tour of state capitols Tuesday, calling on Christians to repent, pray and uphold Biblical values at home and at the ballot box.

The 50-state tour, called "Decision America Tour 2016," began Tuesday afternoon on the steps of Des Moines, Iowa's capitol.

On his website, Graham says he will "be urging Christians to vote, to live out their faith in every part of their lives, and to pray for our nation just as Nehemiah cried out to God to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem and restore hope to His people."

Franklin Graham describes his hopes for the Decision America tour. Watch the video.

The trip comes ahead of the Feb. 1 Iowa caucuses in which Graham is urging Christians who care about social issues to go to the polls and vote for "godly leaders."

"I believe we are perilously close to the moral tipping point for the survival of the United States of America," Graham wrote in the most recent Decision magazine article. "I refuse to be silent and watch the future of our children and grandchildren be offered up on pagan altars of personal pleasure and immorality."

Graham, son of famed evangelist Billy Graham, is not endorsing any presidential candidate and will not allow any of them to speak at his rallies.

Late last month, Graham told followers on Facebook that he was quitting the Republican Party, partly because the GOP-controlled Congress failed to defund Planned Parenthood.

"I have no hope in the Republican Party, the Democratic Party, or Tea Party to do what is best for America," he wrote on Facebook. "Unless more godly men and women get in this process and change this wicked system, our country is in for trouble."

So will these rallies turn political? Graham insists they won't.

"Some fear I might be leading an exodus out of the Republican Party. That's not my goal at all," he wrote in a recent Facebook post. "I'm not here to hurt the Republican Party or the Democratic Party - I want to help our nation. I want to stand on capitol steps and lead this nation state by state in praying for America."

Graham insists the Decision America Tour is about rallying Christians to pray for their nation.

"We'll be praying for our leaders and praying that God would give us politicians who will stand for Biblical values," Graham said. "I want to challenge Christians to get involved in the Democratic Party, the Republican Party, and all others to make a difference, to get engaged at every level and to vote."

"The Bible calls us to be salt and light in this world," he continued. "It's time we got off the sidelines and got involved in actively working and praying to stop the moral decline of this great nation."

So why he still walking with the ones who push this global genocide of christians? How long time, are you going to stand with this insider who play both side, rather to denounce his ministry?

Muslims and Christians do not worship the same God, celebrated evangelist Franklin Graham said in response to the controversial claim by a faculty member at Wheaton College in Illinois.
In a series of tweets late Saturday night, Graham, the son of evangelist Billy Graham, laid out his opposition to the recommendation of the college’s faculty council that the school drop its plans to terminate a professor who published her belief that Islam and Christianity worship the same God, which Graham said was “no minor issue.”

In December 2015, Larycia Hawkins, who teaches political science at Wheaton College, was put on administrative leave after wearing a hijab to school in solidarity with Muslims. Wheaton is a private evangelical Christian college, which has sometimes been called the “evangelical Harvard” because of its reputation for academic rigor.

Hawkins announced that she would wear the hijab to demonstrate support for Muslims in the aftermath of the shootings in Paris and San Bernardino, California. She also used the gesture as a platform to express her belief that Christians and Muslims worship the same God.
In a separate Facebook post, Graham said both his father and mother attended Wheaton College, where they met for the first time.
“I’m surprised and disappointed that the faculty council there is now recommending the college drop their plans to terminate a professor who published that she believed Islam and Christianity worship the same God in December. This is no minor issue that should be debated,” Graham wrote.
The fundamental issue for Graham is the theological question of the nature of God and therefore the mission of the college.
“Islam denies that God has a Son,” Graham wrote. “They deny that Jesus is God. They do not believe in a Triune God–the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I can tell you–Islam and Christianity clearly do not worship the same God.”
“How the faculty council can now support this professor being allowed to teach students is deeply concerning,” he concludes.
The Wheaton College website, which identifies the school as “explicitly Christian,” includes a statement of faith that unequivocally lays out its Christian beliefs.
“WE BELIEVE in one sovereign God, eternally existing in three persons: the everlasting Father, His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, and the Holy Spirit, the giver of life; and we believe that God created the Heavens and the earth out of nothing by His spoken word, and for His own glory,” it reads.
In her defense, Hawkins wrote: “I stand in religious solidarity with Muslims because they, like me, a Christian, are people of the book,” though it is unclear which “book” she was referring to, since the portrayal of God in the Christian Bible differs on a number of essential points from that offered in the Qur’an. Being people of a book could just as well apply to Maoists following the “little red book.”
The Catechism of the Catholic Church, for instance, states that the “Christian faith is not a ‘religion of the book.’ Christianity is the religion of the ‘Word’ of God, ‘not a written and mute word, but incarnate and living.’”
Hawkins also invoked Pope Francis as having stated “we worship the same God,” though such an affirmation is not without ambiguity. To say, as Francis did, that Muslims “worship the one living and merciful God, and call upon him in prayer,” means at minimum that Muslims do not worship an idol, or false God, but it does not imply that their understanding of God coincides with that of Christians.
While Christians, Jews, and Muslims all claim to worship “the God of Abraham,” the understanding that each has of God is not theologically identical. While all monotheists intend to worship the one God, their beliefs concerning who God is vary considerably–and sometimes in essential points, as Graham pointed out.
Thus, in 2007, Cardinal Gerhard Müller, now the prefect of the Vatican’s Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, could assert that Muslims and Christians “do not believe in the same God,” underscoring the differences in doctrine concerning who God is.
Christians may well continue to debate the matter of whether in their worship of God, or “Allah,” Muslims are really worshipping the God of the Bible—the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
For now, one prominent evangelist has said “no.”
