RICK WARREN SAYS "GREAT SPIRITUAL AWAKENING" COMING

IN CHARGE OF THE GLOBAL PEACE PLAN

"Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him,...Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first,..." 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3

APPRISING MINISTRIES - Posted by Ken Silva - June 14, 2008

. . . . The latest PD Encyclical from Warren in "Ministry Toolbox" at his Pastors.com
http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?e=001KjBXJAoKyyzT2n3XL3O69D-EocT6gGNQzvOUuor49v8O8GSf…

, The five stages of renewal in the local church, gives us the following prophecy: "A great spiritual awakening is on the horizon."

The Purpose Driven Prophet then reminds us:
In the last three years, I've told you this several times: I believe God is preparing the church for another reformation. The first reformation focused on what the church believed; this one will focus on what it does. For too long we've separated the Word of God from the work of God. As the church, we're called to be the body of Christ - the whole body. (Online source http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?e=001KjBXJAoKyywGF10FvCrFDs5Jqf_E5Q9VwSna_VuTcIBY-VEA…

I have already shown you here at AM, e.g. in Rick Warren Reversing the Reformation
http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?e=001KjBXJAoKyyzivPfmQpZfslqtPNq10z3NkBaBzwBQ5GAMTFjn… ,
that Warren-in complete contradistinction to "what the church believed" in the Protestant Reformation-includes the apostate Roman Catholic Church in "the body of Christ" of which he is speaking above. And not only does Warren include apostate Roman Catholicism http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?e=001KjBXJAoKyyw5YkeLHJvCY7KlVpR8ooaPoWXj_OE0hTgEpNDZ…
but as you can see in the AM piece Rick Warren and Jesus http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?e=001KjBXJAoKyyyN4qvA7WBGNeU_3RHlPDvirv3LqtY5KATtOdi2…

he also includes apostate mainline denominations long ago killed by what Southern Baptist Bible scholar Dr. Walter Martin (1928-1989) called The Cult of Liberal Theology
http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?e=001KjBXJAoKyywA9n-btvmNLJ3lvB6slt08SOGoC4TzZDYqcDwp…   .
In fact in a Christian Post http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?e=001KjBXJAoKyyxQYFGXC3yV10GO1xFHUpSp1sct8PABzAn_zM3d…
story about Warren we read:

Megachurch pastor Rick Warren suggested Sunday that mainline churches need to reconcile with evangelicals to counter its mounting problem of membership decline. "The reconciliation
is that in a pluralistic world... we (Christians) need to be on the same team because we share the same savior," Warren contended Sunday, as he spoke with the dean of the Washington National Cathedral, Samuel T. Lloyd III,... (Online source http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?e=001KjBXJAoKyyzIh-6__lHjv4SxQf2_et2Ptp_x1ZnvkJa8JqgE…   , emphasis mine)

There Is Never A Time For Unity With False Brethren For a man who has an earned Doctor of Ministry Degree from Fuller Theological (Cesspool)
Seminary (Onine source http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?e=001KjBXJAoKyyzcgW020t9X67aDLO1vFBw8tPBNno4U9PTwj_9h…

Warren sure appears to be woefully ignorant of the issues which separate genuine Christians from apostates such as the Church of Rome and liberal mainline denominations. We "share the same savior." Is he really this misinformed? Rome's "savior" is still
suffering and dying over and over again on its iniquitous crucifix.

Dr. John MacArthur brings out the heart of the matter for the Christian: What was at stake is whether or not we evangelize Roman Catholics, that's what's at stake... Are Roman Catholics the mission field, or do we embrace them as fellow believers in Jesus Christ? The mood at evangelicalism today is to embrace them...

Reclassifying the Pope, reclassifying the Roman Catholics as believers isn't that simple... It has massive implications that overturn centuries, if not millennia of martyrdom.

In the long war on the truth, the most formidable, relentless and deceptive enemy has been Roman Catholicism. It is an apostate, corrupt, heretical, false Christianity, it is a front for the kingdom of Satan. The true church of the Lord Jesus Christ has always understood this. (Online source http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?e=001KjBXJAoKyyzUMW__OO4jrGFGrDDinCThSDJkCBYLG25cIu05…

But then Warren says that we also "need to be on the same team" with those who not only ordain practicing homosexuals like "Bishop" Gene Robinson-who recently married his sodomite partner-but also place them in leadership over multiple churches? Really?

And Warren says we are to "reconcile" with apostate Progressive Christians http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?e=001KjBXJAoKyyxdFlzOGAJDNVYP3WMjYOBrIf3XkKhWzcDrlsny… NKQhZR57N9IoWGgLS9zCs0T5BbTdP1ptMKl7AVfyDAK6gxMjALWz6NXCkLrHJmwd1ixrYaYVC8_o=
like Marcus Borg http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?e=001KjBXJAoKyyxxEFP17PUmmu_WUSNcspgWbfSRMbrOnF8B8OAE… ,
and heretics like John Dominic Crossan http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?e=001KjBXJAoKyywqclqKib4AiBlzWfg5m8yFRmaOwNgZFCcJKCwp… BGN6ReTRowZbxiYzKsMkNT42k_PffnWkTUIlbAlrN_c6Cvzs58bsTTB55wRFl4W9fkfGMLnLaVJlwf3btMlHI= ,
who deny the glorious Bodily Resurrection of Jesus Christ and say His body was probably eaten by dogs? I think not. And just what kind of "spiritual awakening" is Rick Warren http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?e=001KjBXJAoKyyyq03ZsGqXZXHxE9eT3rwG_ab0eKEBYEJosFIln…
talking about allegedly "on the horizon"? A move further back into the religious spiritual bondage of medieval Roman Catholicism through the corrupt Contemplative Spirituality/Mysticism http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?e=001KjBXJAoKyyykufZqtCcxMhS9M7xGdtlVaSJCfCPILuKT_XAm…
of spurious Spiritual Formation http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?e=001KjBXJAoKyyx-Rd-LAH2aT9fqPt4CmkwJCfNPZa15di8JtsIO…
stealthily slithering deeper into the evangelical camp via The Cult of Guru Richard Foster http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?e=001KjBXJAoKyyyb6DiAx0Fr_6jNQ5qLm1-en-PwF6eIjbF82hB0…   , which Warren himself promotes? Frankly, from where I stand Rick Warren sounds more like a politician looking to get elected than he does a Charles Spurgeon.

Why do I mention Spurgeon? Is it because I idolize a man; because I look to follow him? Nope; I bring Spurgeon into this discussion because this is what Rick Warren himself does when his Saddleback apologist Richard Abanes http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?e=001KjBXJAoKyyztDKPVnbg0XqH_8sr9_h2gJryl0qzMu5FiNmKS… enlightens us concerning an exhortation from Warren:

I am calling for a return to nineteenth-century evangelicalism. It's more muscle and less mouth. It was the evangelicalism of Charles Spurgeon,... (Online source
http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?e=001KjBXJAoKyyz7fWTTiwg34EP9cH5nYLd1Cv07jOWvIPKFpjqS…

But then out of the other side of his own mouth Warren is also calling for evangelical non-protesting "Protestants" to reconcile with the Roman Catholic Church and liberal
"Christianity". For you see the highly ecumenical PD Pope has already instructed us, "I see absolutely zero reason in separating my fellowship from anybody" (Online
source http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?e=001KjBXJAoKyyxHnqoy39mSbzgC4y7Hfn0eAy4UxBh4t3vkWN7r… .

Does Dr. Warren really not know that Charles Spurgeon vehemently opposed and denounced both Roman Catholicism and liberal theology, in addition to properly separating his "fellowship from" each? - - - - Read Full Report http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?e=001KjBXJAoKyywYtj5XVeSXH8AiY2s2SG8QY1rvWFTh_80hZUdy…

CHRISLAM'S RICK WARREN PARTNERING WITH MOSQUES TO TEACH THAT GOD AND ALLAH ARE THE SAME

Rick Warren and Chrislam 2.0

Rick Warren has decided to spend his time and wealth promoting the hybrid Chrislam religion.

RELATED STORY: Click here to read about Rick Warren’s beginnings in Chrislam…

From WND: (OCREGISTER) — The Rev. Rick Warren, pastor of Saddleback Church in Lake Forest and one of America’s most influential Christian leaders, has embarked on an effort to heal divisions between evangelical Christians and Muslims by partnering with Southern California mosques and proposing a set of theological principles that includes acknowledging that Christians and Muslims worship the same God.

The effort, informally dubbed King’s Way, caps years of outreach between Warren and Muslims. Warren has broken Ramadan fasts at a Mission Viejo mosque, met Muslim leaders abroad and addressed 8,000 Muslims at a national convention in Washington D.C.

Saddleback worshippers have invited Muslims to Christmas dinner and played interfaith soccer at a picnic in Irvine attended by more than 300 people. (The game pitted pastors and imams against teens from both faiths. The teens won.)

The effort by a prominent Christian leader to bridge what polls show is a deep rift between Muslims and evangelical Christians culminated in December at a dinner at Saddleback attended by 300 Muslims and members of Saddleback’s congregation. source – WND

From Stand Up For The Truth: This past Sunday, a major shift was announced by Pastor Rick Warren at his Saddleback Church in Orange County, California, that has many Christian leaders concerned. As Saddleback hosted its ”celebration of Jesus (pbuh),” attended by a number of Muslim communities in Southern California, something theologically significant happened at the dinner portion of the event.

Only a select number of people were invited to the dinner. A document one year in the making was presented which encourages Christians and Muslims to “appreciate the similarities of our faiths.” What does this mean? Is it simply a way to reach out a helping hand to the communities in Southern California, or is something more serious happening? source – Stand Up For The Truth

From Time: WASHINGTON — Defying some of his fellow conservative Christian critics, one of the most prominent religious leaders in the country told several thousand American Muslims on Saturday that “the two largest faiths on the planet” must work together to combat stereotypes and solve global problems. source – MSNBC

From Jim Hinch: Saddleback Church in Orange County, California, home to super-pastor Rick Warren (Obama inauguration, Purpose Driven Life, etc.) has joined forces with Southern California mosques to adopt a three-step plan for ending enmity between evangelical Christians and Muslims.

The plan’s first step calls for Muslims and Christians to recognize they worship the same God. Interfaith reconciliation has been proceeding for years between Muslims and more liberal-leaning mainline Protestant denominations.

This is the first such effort I’ve heard of by an evangelical mega-church. Many evangelicals regard Islam as Christianity’s number one enemy, and they do not at all agree that the two faiths worship the same God. This is likely to make waves. source – Jim Hinch

Is there no end to the lack of spiritual discernment within the Christian community? Even some of our Church leaders are showing a startling lack of discernment. And if we can’t trust our leaders to help us stay on the straight and narrow path, who can we trust?
On October 5th, Southern Baptist preacher Rick Warren sat down with New Age/New Thought high priestess Oprah Winfrey for an interview. Although Oprah claims to be a Christian she most assuredly is not as I clearly demonstrate here and here. Joel Osteen, who is said to be “one of America’s most influential spiritual leaders,” appeared on the show prior to Warren to promote his new book, “I Declare: 31 Promises To Speak Over Your Life.” Around 45,000 people attend Lakewood Church each Sunday to hear Osteen preach the word-faith prosperity gospel “lite.” It’s really not surprising that he was invited to appear on “Oprah’s Life Class.” The duo has become fast friends ever since she and Tyler Perry attended a Lakewood service some months back. They soon discovered how like-minded they are. In fact, Osteen has this Oprahesque declaration on his website:
The words we speak set the course for our life. If you want to know what you’re going to be like in five years, listen to the words you are saying about yourself today.

Egads!

Osteen not only teaches a false gospel, he apparently has scant knowledge of the scriptures which is the main reason the man who pastors the largest megachurch in America is unaware that the Lord has called His followers to “rightly divide the word of truth” (2 Tm 2:15).

Rick Warren’s claim to fame is his books “The Purpose Driven Church” and “The Purpose Driven Life.” PDL is the best-selling hardback non-fiction book in American history and is translated into more than 50 languages. By using modern marketing methods he helped lay the foundation for the Church Growth movement (CGM). Largely due to the popularity of his purpose-driven books the CGM has spread through churches like a windstorm sweeping across the Great Plains, ushering in a “new paradigm” of transformational leadership to meet the challenge of the new century. CGM “emphasizes mainly missionary work combined with sociological awareness of the target population.” In other words, it utilizes slick marketing techniques. The object is to reach the “unchurched” using the age-old principle: You can draw more flies with honey than with vinegar. Hence, the “seeker-sensitive” label.

Over the years Pastor Warren has become controversial, and rightly so, for a multitude of reasons which I’ve tackled here and here. For one reason or another controversy continually swirls around “America’s Pastor.” Still, he is highly regarded by many in the Christian community and likewise the press. What’s stunning is that he’s often invited to speak at events with New Calvinist luminaries like John Piper, Mark Driscoll, James MacDonald and Matt Chandler. Before I move on, I must bring to light influential Reformed theologian John Piper’s recent endorsement of Rick Warren. Many of us in the discernment ministries were both surprised and troubled by his endorsement. Christine Pack observed:

[Piper] gave his “stamp of approval” by having Warren be a keynote speaker at Dr. Piper's annual Desiring God conference. This was an event that caught many in evangelicalism off guard and resulted in a flurry of articles and blog posts over a number of months. The problem with Dr. Piper welcoming Rick Warren into the fold is that Dr. Piper has long been known as a champion and protector of the purity of the gospel message. (Source)

Pastor celebrity James MacDonald was once asked to comment on the “seeker movement” and he replied, “The seeker movement [should be] subtitled: How to Fill Your Church with Tares.” Later he publically affirmed Rick Warren in a tweet even knowing that the seeker movement that filled churches with heathens was the brain child of “possibility thinker” Robert Schuller. His most recognized disciples are Bill Hybels and Rick Warren. Excuse me, but a shepherd’s duty is to point out error and guard the flock from wolves in sheep’s clothing, not to invite them into the sheep pen!

Sorry to digress.

Another prominent pastor who shares the stage with Rick Warren is Greg Laurie of Harvest Christian Fellowship, a Calvary Chapel in Riverside, CA. Laurie is best known as the founder and featured speaker for Harvest Crusades.

So, what is going on in the visible Church?

Glad you asked. In a word: syncretism. Syncretism occurs when elements of other religious beliefs are mashed into mainstream Protestant denominations. In a piece entitled Purpose Driven Dismantling of Christianity, I examined the effect syncretism has on the Church:

Satan uses syncretism to separate God from His people. God loathes syncretism:

“When the LORD thy God shall cut off the nations from before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their land; Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise. Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every abomination to the LORD, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods.” (Deuteronomy 12:29-31)

Grievous wolves (Acts 20:29) masquerading as evangelicals introduced false religious beliefs (abominations) into mainline churches. Many of them are forthcoming about what they're doing, others not so much. Their main goal is … change. The plan (yes, they have a plan) is to dismantle historic orthodox Christianity and usher in a "new paradigm," a "new kind of Christianity."

Wolves are skillful at drawing people in. They've learned how to use TV, radio, the Worldwide Web, human potential seminars, psycho-therapeutic counseling, so-called Christian entertainment that includes movies, DVDs, books and music. Some believers are drawn in through political groups. As you can see, a whole host of lures are used to bait the hook.

Many professing Christians have accepted the blending of religious beliefs with no questions asked. They sit in churches where they're not taught the truth but are fed a steady diet of half truths and outright lies! Jesus wanted those who believe in Him to read and understand the Word. "Sanctify them through thy truth," He prayed. "Thy Word is truth!" (John 17:17 ) (Source)

Now, let’s get to my questions: Why did Rick Warren agree to do an interview with Oprah? Moreover, why would he want to be associated with word-faith heretic Joel Osteen? We discover after the fact that he did not use the opportunity to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the lost, many of whom were tuned into the show. No. Instead he used his time with Oprah to pass on his sage advice to the audience, peppered with a few Bible quotes -- taken out of context!

Former New Ager and astrologer Marcia Montenegro watched the 3 hours of live taping on Oprah’s Life class. I think the following excerpt about what she observed clearly identifies the sort of pastor Rick Warren is:

Although Rick Warren has had New Age Dr. Oz at his church (along with a supposedly Christian doctor who also endorses some New Age practices), I was hoping he (RW) would somehow give the gospel in the midst of his motivational advice, but he never did. He used the imagery of a poker game to explain we are dealt certain cards, and then gave a teaching on this that sounded like moralistic self-help programs I’ve heard so many times, throwing in a few Bible quotes taken out of context or misquoted. It was something almost any New Ager could accept. God becomes a tool for self-improvement and success.

Warren referred to Jesus, but took scripture out of context and applied things said to believers to everyone. He also misused the Proverbs passage that says “as a man thinketh, so is he.” This passage is a famous passage misused by New Thought proponents and is used in “The Secret.”

What was really hard to watch is when a woman in Norway Skyped to say she realized she needed God but wanted to know who God is and she asked, “What should I do?” It was clear that she was ripe to hear the gospel and needed Jesus! It was a great opportunity to share the gospel with her, and at the same time, for Oprah to hear it. Instead of giving the gospel, Rick Warren seemed uncomfortable and finally just said something like, ‘Go to God and find your purpose.” It was a terrible moment! The woman looked surprised and sad, like she was expecting something else. I prayed for her later and am hoping that the many Christians who witnessed this will pray for her.

Not only that, but when Oprah referred to God, as she often did, Rick Warren agreed with her as though she was referring to the biblical God, which she was not. He even said a few times, “Oprah has a good point.” No, she never did! She was speaking totally out of her New Thought/New Age beliefs. I am grateful that RW recommended that people read the gospel of John. That was the best thing he said. (Read Marcia’s entire piece here)

Why do so many followers of Jesus Christ view Rick Warren as dangerous? Evangelist Tony Miano’s indictment is blunt:

Plastic pastors transparent enough to see through, like Joel Osteen, are not as dangerous as Rick Warren. Modalistic moguls of the painfully-obvious-money-hungry prosperity movement, like T.D. Jakes, are not as dangerous as Rick Warren. Self-serving sorcerers of the false signs and wonders movement, like Todd Bentley, are not as dangerous as Rick Warren. No. None of the before-mentioned personalities or groups are all that dangerous because what you see is what you get. They all lack the ability to change their appearance to accommodate a change in environment. They lack the chameleon-like ability, the self-serving ability, to say what needs to be said in order to keep people in every camp liking them.

Now listen to former Catholic Priest Richard Bennett:

Warren teaches that God 'created the church to meet your five deepest needs' just as the Roman Catholic Church says, 'The Church is the mother of all believers.' Warren, like Rome, has switched from obedience to the Word and Person of the Living God to submission to a church to achieve one's needs. It is the oldest and cleverest temptation known to man.

I’ll close with warning from the Lord Jesus:

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous [ferocious] wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them. (Mat. 5:15-20)

RICK WARREN RETAINS UNBIBLICAL POSITION IN NEW 2012 EDITION OF THE PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE
HOME
Citation:
The reason Christian leaders aren’t taking the New Age more seriously is because figures, like [Rick] Warren, are not ringing out a warning and are themselves being influenced and deceived by the New Age. - Warren B. Smith

Ten years after the first edition of Rick Warren’s The Purpose Driven Life was released, Zondervan has now released
a new
2012 “Expanded Edition” of the New York Times best seller geared for a “new generation.” As the cover of the new edition reads, over 32 million copies of The Purpose Driven Life have been sold. This special Lighthouse Trails report will examine how the new edition has retained Rick Warren's unbiblical position.

FIRST SOME BACKGROUND

It was Fall of 2002, and the fledgling Lighthouse Trails Publishing was just about to release its first book, A Time of Departing, written by a fairly unknown author, Ray Yungen. At the same time, unbeknownst to us, another book was hitting the bookstores but this one by a fairly well-known author, Rick Warren with his book, The Purpose Driven Life. Some knew Warren from his first book in the 90s called The Purpose Driven Church. But his name was about to become a virtual household name in the Western world with The Purpose Driven Life. As time wore on and the book climbed the charts, many, including Rick Warren himself, said it must be from God or there wouldn’t be this much success. Rick Warren came to believe that the Purpose Driven movement was the most important contribution being made to the 21st century church:
Citation:
Personal computers have brand names. But inside every pc is an Intel chip and an operating system, Windows,” Warren says. “The Purpose Driven paradigm is the Intel chip for the 21st-century church and the Windows system of the 21st-century church—Rick Warren, Christianity Today, Oct. 2005

Lighthouse Trails sent a copy of A Time of Departing to Rick Warren in early 2003, hoping to warn this influential pastor of the contemplative prayer and spiritual formation movement. Warren sent a personal note thanking Lighthouse Trails for the book and admitted it was a “hot topic.”
The following year, Lighthouse Trails editors heard about a book that was suggesting The Purpose Driven movement had leanings toward the New Age. LT editors purchased a copy of the book, which had been written by Warren B. Smith. The book, titled Deceived on Purpose: the New Age implications of the Purpose Driven movement, was the first book on the market that challenged Rick Warren and the Purpose Driven movement. Since then, Warren Smith has written a follow-up book titled A “Wonderful” Deception, Ray Yungen has added an entire chapter on Rick Warren in a 2nd edition of A Time of Departing (showing Rick Warren’s propensities toward and promotion of contemplative spirituality), and Lighthouse Trails author Roger Oakland included Rick Warren in his expose book on the emerging church, Faith Undone.

Needless to say, Lighthouse Trails was very interested to know if Rick Warren has corrected the things that Warren Smith, Ray Yungen, and Roger Oakland challenged him on (from a biblical point of view) in their books. This report will examine these very things.

I. DECEIVED ON PURPOSE & A “WONDERFUL” DECEPTION VS THE NEW EDITION OF THE PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE

1. In Deceived on Purpose, Warren Smith contended that Rick Warren’s use of Eugene Peterson’s The Message compromised his book significantly.
Citation:
Anyone reading The Message should be able to quickly see how verses from Scripture often had their otherwise clear meanings obscured or even altered. Important details were sometimes omitted, while misleading words and phrases were often added. (DOP, p. 24)

Since the release of The Purpose Driven Life in 2002, there has been ample documentation proving that The Message paraphrase is not trustworthy, and in fact, is quite misleading. But did this cause Rick Warren to reconsider? No, the new expanded Purpose Driven Life still contains quotes from Eugene Peterson’s The Message (Day 2, Day 8, Day 32).
One of the most disturbing things that Warren Smith unveiled about The Message was the New Age maxim substituted into the Lord’s Prayer, “as above, so below.”
Citation:
This phrase [as above, so below] comes from the beginning of The Emerald Tablet and embraces the entire system of traditional and modern magic which was inscribed upon the tablet in cryptic wording by Hermes Trismegistus. The significance of this phrase is that it is believed to hold the key to all mysteries. All systems of magic are claimed to function by this formula. “‘That which is above is the same as that which is below’….The universe is the same as God, God is the same as man.” (DOP, p. 33)

Even though Peterson’s ”As above, so below” revision was brought to Rick Warren’s attention by at least one person who sent him a copy of Deceived on Purpose, that didn’t stop Rick Warren from including The Message in his new 2012 edition of The Purpose Driven Life.

2. In the 2002 edition of The Purpose Driven Life, Rick Warren quoted a man named Bernie Siegel. Warren Smith addresses this in Deceived on Purpose and later again in his book, A “Wonderful” Deception:
Citation:
In The Purpose Driven Life, Rick Warren introduces his main themes of “hope” and “purpose.” Inexplicably, Warren chooses to introduce “hope” and “purpose” in his book by citing Dr. Bernie Siegel—a veteran New Age leader who claims to have a spirit-guide named George. Somehow, readers of The Purpose Driven Life are expected to believe that God inspired Warren to introduce the themes of hope and purpose by referencing the “wisdom” of Bernie Siegel, an author and leader in the New Age movement.(AWD, p. 16)

Once again, Rick Warren dismisses legitimate concerns and includes the Bernie Siegel reference in the new 2012 expanded edition of The Purpose Driven Life.

3. In the 2002 edition of PDL, Rick Warren twists Scripture and says, “The Bible says, ‘He rules everything and is everywhere and is in everything.” Warren Smith responded saying:
Citation:
Out of the fifteen different Bible versions Rick Warren uses in The Purpose Driven Life, he chooses to cite Ephesians 4:6 from a new translation that erroneously conveys the panentheistic New Age teaching that God is “in” everything. According to New Age leaders, this teaching is foundational to the New Age/New Spirituality. Yet of these fifteen Bible versions Warren uses in his book, he chooses the New Century Version that has potentially misled millions of Purpose Driven readers to believe this key New Age doctrine that God is “in” everything. (AWD, p. 16)

What does Rick Warren do with this misuse of Scripture? You will find the very same misuse in the new 2012 edition of PDL.

4. In the 2002 edition of PDL, Rick Warren distorts the words of Jesus regarding His second coming.
Citation:
In The Purpose Driven Life, Rick Warren strongly discourages the study of prophecy. He states that “in essence” Jesus told his disciples: “The details of my return are none of your business.” Contrary to what Warren writes, in Jesus’ discussion on the Mount of Olives, He tells His disciples that an understanding of the details of His return is very important. He provides much needed prophetic information so that His followers will not be deceived about the details of His return at the end of time. (AWD, pp. 20-21)

In the 2012 expanded edition of PDL, Rick Warren says the exact same thing again.

5. In the 2002 edition of PDL, echoing Robert Schuller, Rick Warren writes, “It helps to know that Satan is entirely predictable.”

In Deceived on Purpose, Warren Smith refutes this highly irresponsible remark by Rick Warren that unfortunately millions of people have now heard:
Citation:
Because Rick Warren and other church leaders don’t seem to discern the deception, they are unfortunately becoming a part of the deceptive process. Perhaps deceived into thinking that they can’t be deceived, their inability to spiritually discern what is happening is placing the Church in grave danger. (DOP, p. 131)

In the 2012 expanded edition of PDL, Rick Warren repeats: "It helps to know that Satan is entirely predictable,” once again underestimating the wiles of the devil and ignoring the many Scriptures that warn us about spiritual deception.

6. In the 2002 edition of The Purpose Driven Life, Rick Warren quotes occultist and New Ager Aldous Huxley (is it any wonder that former New Age follower Warren Smith wrote two books on the Purpose Driven movement!).
Citation:
After incorrectly diagnosing the Apostle Paul as suffering from “doubt” and “depression” rather than persecution, Rick Warren emphasized the importance of “shared experiences” by quoting Huxley. . .

Rick Warren’s citing of the metaphysical Huxley in discussing the importance of “shared experiences” seemed as inappropriate as his referencing New Age leader Bernie Siegel in introducing “hope” and “purpose.” Randomly quoting influential New Age figures with no introduction or explanation as to who these people are is not exactly what you expect from a shepherd who is supposed to be protecting his flock. (DOP, pp. 96-97)

II. A TIME OF DEPARTING VS THE NEW EDITION OF THE PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE

1. In the 2002 edition of PDL, Rick Warren references Brother Lawrence (Practicing the Presence of God) several times and tells readers to practice ”breath prayers.” Ray Yungen challenges this:
Citation:
Brother Lawrence is often quoted by contemplative authors for his habit of what he called “practicing the presence of God.” But what was the actual nature of this presence? Was it something that would reflect the true character of God? I find the following account from a devout advocate of Brother Lawrence both questionable and disturbing:

“It is said of Brother Lawrence that when something had taken his mind away from love’s presence he would receive “a reminder from God” that so moved his soul that he “cried out, singing and dancing violently like a mad man.” You will note that the reminders came from God and were not his own doing.” (Gerald May, The Awakened Heart, First HarperCollins Paperback Edition, 1993) p. 87, citing from The Practice of the Presence of God by Brother Lawrence, translated)

Brother Lawrence says that secret phrases must be “repeat[ed] often in the day,” and “for the right practice of it, the heart must be empty of all other things.” He speaks of the trouble of wandering thoughts and says that the habit of practicing the presence of God is the “one remedy” and the “best and easiest method” he knows to dissolve distractions. (ATOD, p. 147)

Rick Warren received a copy of A Time of Departing in 2003 and yet, in the 2012 expanded edition of PDL, Warren once again references Brother Lawrence and tells his readers to practice “breath prayers.”

2. In the 2002 edition of PDL, Warren advises readers to use visual reminders throughout the day and gives an example of others who practice breath prayers—Benedictine monks, known for their contemplative spirituality and interspirituality.
Yet, in the 2012 expanded edition of PDL, Rick Warren again tells readers to consider the example that the contemplative Benedictine monks have set before us.

3. Regarding the 2002 edition of PDL, Ray Yungen points out in A Time of Departing: “Warren not only promotes breath prayers on Day 11 in The Purpose Driven Life but also on Day 38, where he tells readers how to become “world-class Christian[s]” through the “practice [of]. . . breath prayers.”

In the 2012 expanded edition of The Purpose Driven Life, Rick Warren repeats this second instruction on using breath prayers.

4. In A Time of Departing, Ray Yungen documents how Rick and Kay Warren find great affinity with Catholic contemplative mystic Henri Nouwen. In both the 2002 and the new 2012 expanded edition of PDL, Warren quotes Henri Nouwen twice. One of the quotes directly follows Warren’s quote of St. John of the Cross where Warren likens the panentheist St. John’s “dark night of the soul” to Henri Nouwen’s “ministry of absence.” If Rick Warren had read A Time of Departing when it was sent to him in 2003, he would have known that Nouwen practiced eastern style meditation; and he would have known that Nouwen had a propensity toward universalism, as demonstrated in Nouwen's words:
Citation:
Today I personally believe that while Jesus came to open the door to God's house, all human beings can walk through that door, whether they know about Jesus or not. Today I see it as my call to help every person claim his or her own way to God. (Sabbatical Journey, p. 51)

III. FAITH UNDONE VS. THE NEW EDITION OF THE PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE

1. In Faith Undone, Roger Oakland shows Rick Warren’s distortion of biblical prophecy and the return of Jesus Christ in the 2002 edition of The Purpose Driven Life.
Citation:
In The Purpose Driven Life, Warren was actually laying ground-work for the emerging church’s new reformation, a reformation that rejects thinking about the return of Christ and works more at convincing the multitudes that Christ is already in them as a global christ-consciousness. As you will see in the following documentation, Warren has a low regard for Bible prophecy. Perhaps this helps explain why so many who once were anticipating the return of the Lord have become occupied with worldly ambitions. Warren writes:

“When the disciples wanted to talk about prophecy, Jesus quickly switched the conversation to evangelism. He wanted them to concentrate on their mission in the world. He said in essence, ‘The details of my return are none of your business. What is your business is the mission I have given you. Focus on that’”

I find it simply astounding that a statement of this sort would be in a New York Times best-seller in the present-day Christian book market. Jesus was telling the disciples they could not know the day or the hour, but nowhere does Jesus ever indicate that “the details of my return are none of your business.” Rather than quickly changing the subject, we find in Matthew 24 and Luke 21 two of the longest passages in Scripture quoting Jesus’ own words, as He details the signs of His coming. (FA, pp. 154-155)

As this report stated earlier, the new edition of The Purpose Driven Life also takes Jesus’ words out of context regarding Bible prophecy and His return.

2. In the 2002 edition of PDL, Rick Warren takes Christ’s words out of context when he tells readers that those who think about Bible prophecy (i.e., the Lord’s return) are ”not fit for the kingdom of God.” Roger Oakland shows how he did this distortion.
In the 2012 edition of PDL, Warren tells readers again that they are “not fit for the kingdom of God” if they think about Bible prophecy too much.

CONCLUSION: So What IS Different About the new 2012 edition? In a Zondervan promotional video, Rick Warren says that he has learned a lot of things in the past decade about hindrances that keep people from finding their true purpose, and he has put this information in two new chapters: “The Envy Trap” and “the People Pleaser Trap.” He has also added links to both video and audio teachings by himself. While Lighthouse Trails editors have strong concerns about what these teachings will introduce to readers (such as the audio for Day 11, where Rick and Kay Warren talk about how to “connect” with God through “the stillness,” via monks, monasteries, and Henri Nouwen), this report is not on what Rick Warren has added to PDL but rather what he has not removed. Thus, the following can be stated with certainty: the new edition of The Purpose Driven Life is as problematic as the first edition was and could potentially lead a whole “new generation” astray. One only needs to look at the declining condition of America over the past 10 years to see that The Purpose Driven Life (where 60 million people have read it, Warren said recently on a Fox News interview ) has not helped the country or the church get on track. On the Zondervan website, it states: “The Purpose Driven Life is far more than just a book; it is a guide to a spiritual journey that has transformed millions of lives. Once you take this journey, you’ll never be the same again” (emphasis added).

As Lighthouse Trails has stated for over 10 years, the Purpose Driven “spiritual journey” is one that should be avoided. Hopefully, this report has shown some of the reasons. While this Special Report does not address issues such as Rick Warren’s P.E.A.C.E. Plan and the Daniel Plan, please refer to the “Related Articles” section below for further documentation on the Purpose Driven movement.

NOTE: Books by Ray Yungen, Roger Oakland, and Warren B. Smith are available through the Lighthouse Trails store or most major online bookstores. If you have not read all three of these books - A Time of Departing, Faith Undone, and A “Wonderful” Deception (which summarizes Deceived on Purpose in chapter 1), we highly recommend you do. If you cannot afford the books, please write to us at P.O. Box 908, Eureka, MT 59917, and we will send you a free copy of one of them. Or you can visit our research site where we have extensive free information and many excerpts from these books. Also we have a list of free chapter excerpts that you can access.

THE “EMERGING CHURCH” IS SINKING

Are you a member of an ‘Emerging Church” who compromise with the World?

VIDEO : http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=iiMYRzFR2ZM

To all of you who are waiting for the massive end times revival:

Are you in a Church like this, you need to warn people around you.

There will emerge a powerful religious movement backed by signs and wonders. But that us the revival shaped by the last man of lawlessness and those to submit to lawlessness.

The above video might be helpful

Jesus warned us through the book of Daniel, that not sincere people would like to get power and importance in our Churches. The end of the age will also be full of betrayal and lukewarmness.

MORIEL STATEMENT ON RICK WARREN

If anyone advocates a different doctrine and does not agree with sound words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, and with the doctrine conforming to godliness, he is conceited and understands nothing; but he has a morbid interest in controversial questions and disputes about words, out of which arise envy, strife, abusive language, evil suspicions, and constant friction between men of depraved mind and deprived of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain.

Moriel Statement:

Rick Warren

MORIEL MINISTRIES - By James Jacob Prasch - February 27, 2013

Moriel & Jacob Prasch fully endorse the recent conference remarks by Paul Smith warning about the seriously dangerous nature of the actions and false doctrines of Rick Warren.

Any honest review of the irrefutable facts supports Paul Smith's caveats.

1st - Rick Warren's recent open equivocation on same sex marriage to The Huffington Post after being publicly exposed for two contradictory statements concerning California's Proposition 8 fits the fact that Rick Warren co- forwarded Dan Kimball's book 'THE EMERGENT CHURCH' with Emergent Church Guru Brian McLaren who last month performed the same sex marriage of his son to his son's husband in a supposedly "Evangelical' ritual. The contrast of the two contradictory statements would impress anyone watching them that Rick Warren is a double talking liar. In light of this equivocation on same sex marriage, it is now a public shame and a disgrace for any Christian pastor or leader to now sanction the so-called ministry of Rick Warren.

2nd - Rick Warren's 'Global Peace Plan' calling for partnering with worshippers of other gods (whom Moses and Paul both identified in God's Word as demons) in order to usher in global peace is the anti christ agenda for a false, Christ-less peace that scriptural prophecy predicts and warns against in the last days. It is a public shame and a disgrace for any Christian leader to lend credence to the architect of such a blatantly satanic agenda.

3rd - Rick Warren's downplay of repentance in his Purpose Driven model is a false gospel. In any New Testament model of the true gospel, repentance is central, not peripheral and a condition of regeneration, not only a post salvation sanctification. The marketing psychology based strategy Rick Warren borrowed from secular marketing entrepreneur, Peter Drucker and various figures involved in New Age "New Thought" drives this point even further.

4th - Rick Warren's instruction to ignore end time prophecy as a diversion directly contradicts the unambiguous commands of the Lord Jesus in The Olivet Discourse to Be Alert for the signs of His Second Coming. Worse still is Rick Warren's "cut and paste" style of eisegesis translocating verses between New Testament books to make the text appear to state things it does not is cultic and heretical. It even goes beyond Rick Warren's preference for Eugene Peterson's 'The Message,' which often bears no resemblance to the original meaning of the original Greek texts instead of preaching from The Word of God.

We thank God for the uncompromising courage and integrity displayed and exhibited by Paul Smith in his stance and we stand with his remarks solidly.
Anyone who truly fears God, believes His Word, and understands the irrefutable documented facts about Rick Warren can do no other. Rick Warren is one of the false teachers whom Jesus` warned would come to deceive the elect and prepare the way for the anti-christ in the Last Days. The proven facts examined in light of God's Words can leave room for no other viable conclusion.

We will all stand before The Lord. Pastors will give account to Jesus for if or not they protected His sheep for whom He died from the wolves sent to devour them according to Jesus, Ezekiel and Peter and James tells us that teachers of scripture will be judged by The Lord more strictly than the rest. Let us all take heed.

Falling Short - Rick Warren

CWM.org [CHRISTIAN WITNESS MINISTRIES] - By Mark Mullins - November 22, 2012Rick Warren has become a legend in his own lifetime as a result of writing the Purpose Driven Life which has sold some 30 million copies and the size of Saddleback Church which is some 24,000 strong. He has prayed at the inaugural ceremonies of Presidents George Bush and Barak Obama.

Rick Warren is considered to be a conservative evangelical holding biblical views on such matters as saving faith[1], hell[2](although Saddleback's statement of faith is weak) and creationism[3]. It is this apparent orthodoxy in Rick Warren that has put many off his scent and led to his acceptance as a card carrying evangelical. ...

Rick Warren and Islam

[...] Perhaps the most shocking of Warren's errors is his compromise with Islam. Along with Robert Schuller, John Stott, Yonggi Cho and Bill Hybels, Warren signed a statement from Yale University welcoming an open letter signed by 138 Muslim leaders written to leaders of the Christian faith entitled, A Common Word Between Us, which was published on 13th October 2007. It claims that love of God and love of neighbour are central to both religions[5]. The problem is that the Muslim letter contains statements that refer to the false belief that Muslims and Christians worship the same God: ...

WARREN'S ECUMENICAL CALL TO FAST, PRAY FOR CARDINALS SEEKING NEW POPE CALLED ‘REAL TRAGEDY’

March 12, 2013 | Filed under: Apostasy,Life & Society,Top Stories | By: Heather Clark

An evangelical ministry that has worked for over 20 years to share the Gospel with Roman Catholics is expressing concern over a ecumenical Tweet that author and megachurch pastor Rick Warren posted early this morning.

At 2:57 a.m., Warren sent out the following call to his over 900,000 followers on Twitter: “Join me today in fasting and prayer for the 115 Cardinals seeking God’s Will in a new leader.”

Since posting the Tweet, which was re-Tweeted over 170 times as of press time and favorited over 80 times, and is being shared widely in a screen shot photograph on Facebook, his comment has received response from both sides of the issue.

“Thanks for your prayers!” wrote Matt Swain, producer of the Son Rise Morning Show on EWTN and author of The Eucharist and the Rosary and Prayer in the Digital Age. “This ain’t like picking Matthias!”
“Mr. Warren, what would the point be?” asked an African follower on Twitter. “Let’s pray for the heretics [to] tone down on their heresy?”

Mike Gendron of Proclaiming the Gospel Ministries of Dallas, Texas told Christian News Network that he was particularly disappointed in Warren’s comments.

“I’m very concerned because what this does is it confuses the average evangelical,” he said. “Right now, the Body of Christ doesn’t know whether to evangelize Roman Catholics or to join hands with them to go out and evangelize the world, [and] it’s because of people like Rick Warrren who either don’t know how exclusive the Gospel of grace is, or he’s not aware of the false and fatal Gospel of the Roman Catholic religion.”

Mike Gendron

Gendron, a former Roman Catholic, stated that Warren’s Tweet is harmful in two ways.

“Rick Warren is doing a disservice to the Roman Catholic Church because he is putting the Gospel off limits to the the Body of Christ for evangelizing Roman Catholics,” he explained. “And so, if they don’t hear the Gospel, they have no hope in ever being saved.”

“Ultimately, it’s a real tragedy,” he said before delving into his second point. “It’s unfortunate because we have a ministry that is dedicated to equipping and encouraging the Body of Christ to reach out to Roman Catholics, and it’s because of people like Rick Warren and other highly visible evangelicals that are signing unity accords with Roman Catholics … that we are getting friendly fire from the evangelical Church.”

Gendron opined that many evangelicals are wrongfully being led to believe that Roman Catholicism is “a valid expression of Christianity.” He advised that it is also unBiblical for Warren to assert that it is “God’s will” that there be a pope in the first place.

“It goes against the Bible. It goes against Scriptural authority,” Gendron outlined. “In Matthew, Jesus said [not to] be like the Gentiles, which have a hierarchical structure to rule over people, and when you look at the Bible, the authority is Christ and His word.”

“Every evangelical church is to submit to the authority of Christ and His word, and the leadership of each church is made up of deacons and elders,” he continued. “In fact, Peter, who Catholics believe to be the first pope, declared himself to be a fellow elder. He never once referred to himself as the head of the church, nor did he ever in Scripture have the authority to rule over anybody. He submitted to the Scriptures.”

Gendron urged Christians to use this time when attention is being turned to the Vatican as an evangelistic opportunity.

“I would encourage [readers] to use this as a platform to engage Catholics with the Gospel of Jesus Christ,” he said. “There is much confusion among Roman Catholics now. They’ve lost their leader. There are scandals that are spread wide throughout the world — not only the sex scandals, but also the Vatican bank scandal. … Catholics are fed up with what’s going on and they’re looking for other options.”

“I would encourage Christians to [reach out to] Roman Catholics and point them to the true head of the Church — the Lord Jesus Christ,” Gendron concluded. “Catholics must repent of everything they’re doing to save themselves, and put all of their hope and all of their trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. He alone is sufficient to save sinners completely and forever.”

Nearly twelve hours after releasing his call to prayer and fasting, Warren posted an obscure message on Twitter, declaring, “Not everything that is different is demonic. Learn to appreciate differences. Obviously God loves variety!”

It is unknown as to whether Warren’s Tweet related to his previous post.

Matthew Warren, the son of the popular evangelical pastor and his wife Kay, died after a struggle with mental illness, according to the statement from Saddleback Valley Community Church in Lake Forest, Calif. The church asked for “everyone to join us in praying for the entire Warren family” on Saturday.

“At 27 years of age, Matthew was an incredibly kind, gentle and compassionate young man whose sweet spirit was encouragement and comfort to many,” Saddleback Church said in the statement. “Unfortunately, he also suffered from mental illness resulting in deep depression and suicidal thoughts.”

“Despite the best healthcare available, this was an illness that was never fully controlled and the emotional pain resulted in the decision to take his life,” the church’s statement said.

RICK WARREN SAYS GAY PEOPLE CAN GO TO HEAVEN AND MIGHT NOT BE COMMITTING SIN

Liar and deceiver. Warrior of Lucifer (CFR member/puppet of Rome) and enemy of Yawhe, the Creator of all things. Rick Warren throw away  the word of God to embrase the LGBT movement like many others. Wake up christians!!!

By bowatkin in Christian News · June 11, 2013

Rick Warren, the prominent pastor and author of the best-selling book, “The Purpose Driven Life,” is openly reflective on what it means to be gay and whether or not being gay stops you from going to heaven.

Warren recently stated that gay behavior might be sinful and that gay men and women can go to heaven.  Both of these statements are controversial, particularly since Warren has been known to be outspoken about gay culture.

During an interview this week with the Huffington Post, Warren was asked if being gay was a sin.

“I have many, many gay friends, and have worked around the world with them in gay organizations to try to stop AIDS,” he said. “We’re doing ‘World AIDS Day’ this weekend at Saddleback Church. My wife and I have given millions of dollars to help people with HIV/AIDS and have worked with gay organizations on that.”

“What about the love part, though? I hear about the AIDS part,” asked Huffpost Live Host, Marc Lamont Hill. “It’s not illegal to love somebody,” Warren replied.

“But you think it’s a sin,” Hill said.

“No, it’s not a sin to love somebody,” Warren said.

“It might be a sin to have s*x with them,” he added. “It might be.”

Recently, Warren spoke on CNN and was asked if it is possible for someone to be born gay.  He said that he’s not so sure about that one.

“I think the jury is still out on that,” he said. “It wouldn’t bother me if there was a ‘gay gene’ found, because here’s what we know about life: I have all kinds of natural feelings in my life, and it doesn’t necessarily mean that I should act on every feeling. … I do not believe that attraction is a sin, but I do believe that some actions are sin.”

Also during his interview on the Huffington Post, Warren stated that he believes that gay people can still go to heaven.  This remark contradicts those of other pastors, who argue that gay people will go to hell since they are living in this form of sin.
“No, not because they’re gay,” he said. “We go to Hell because we choose to reject the grace of God.”

When asked if a gay man can go to heaven if he accepts Jesus, Warren was clear in his response.

“He’s going to Heaven!” he declared. “Without a doubt.”

RICK WARREN WELCOMES THE FIRST EVER JESUIT POPE, BUT DOES HE KNOW THE JESUIT AGENDA?

http://www.spiritual-research-network.com/SRN_blog/2013/3/Rick-Warren-Welcomes-the-First-Ever-Jesuit-Pope-But-Does-He-Know-the-Jesuit-Agenda-
Today, March 13, 2013, the first ever Jesuit pope was elected. A Jesuit pope? Yes!

Born Jorge Mario Bergoglio, Cardinal Bergoglio is now to be recognized as Pope Francis, the 265th pope of the Roman Catholic Church. Official Vatican sources say he is the 265th pope. Others you may see may refer to him as the 266th successor of St. Peter.

So now we have a “Jesuit” Bishop of Rome who will be touted as the “Jesuit” Vicar of Jesus Christ and the “Jesuit” successor of Peter. He will be recognized worldwide as the “Jesuit” Prince of the Apostles and the “Jesuit” Supreme Pontiff of the Universal Church. Those in Europe will see him as the “Jesuit” Primate of Italy and the “Jesuit” Archbishop and Metropolitan of the Roman Province. For those who are more “servant” minded, he will be seen as the “Jesuit” Servant of the Servants of God. Finally, he will be hailed as the “Jesuit” Sovereign in the State of the Vatican City. Rome will bow down to yet another “Pope,” only this time he is fully Jesuit (“God’s Marine’s”) as a member of The Society of Jesus.

According to the newly updated entry on Wikipedia for Jorge Mario Bergoglio, Pope “Francis is the first Jesuit pope, the first from outside of Europe in more than a millennium, the first from the Americas, and the first from the Southern Hemisphere.”
“Pope Francis[1] (Latin: Franciscus, Spanish: Francisco; born Jorge Mario Bergoglio on 17 December 1936) is the 265th[2] and current pope of the Catholic Church, elected on 13 March 2013.[3] In that role he is both the leader of the Church and Sovereign of the Vatican City State. Francis is the first Jesuit pope, the first from outside of Europe in more than a millennium, the first from the Americas, and the first from the Southern Hemisphere.”

From 1998 until his election as pope, he served as the Archbishop of Buenos Aires, and was created cardinal in 2001.

Another entry on Wikipedia that was changed immediately upon the Cardinal being elected as Pope can be found under the Wikipedia entry for “Jesuit.” The text added today, near the bottom of the Wikipedia article states:
“Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio of Argentina was elected pope on March 13, 2013 and is the first Jesuit pope.”

Rick Warren “Welcome’s” Pope Francis, the First Ever Jesuit Pope

Something else of interest is the fact the Rick Warren, who professes to be an Evangelical with the Southern Baptist Convention, enthusiastically welcomed the new Jesuit Pope through Twitter.
The following are Rick Warren’s very own words and also a screenshot of his Twitter entry:

Welcome Pope Francis, Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio,

#HebemusPapum You have our prayers.

7:30PM – 13 Mar 13

Now this is rather interesting, an evangelical minister welcoming a Jesuit Pope? And how about Rick Warren’s influence on Twitter. His own warm “Welcome” of this Jesuit pope has already been re-Tweeted 659 times and it has been “favorited” 184 times. This is influence, and this is positive advertising for the Jesuit agenda and the false gospel of Roman Catholicism.

Here is the same Tweet on Rick Warren’s very own personal Twitter account.

These are interesting things indeed! Why is Rick Warren so enthusiastically “Welcom[ing]” the new Pope Francis into office, and at that, the first ever “Jesuit” pope?

It’s Time to Wake Up and Clearly Understand the Jesuit Agenda

If one understands the historical background of the Jesuit priesthood it makes no sense at all why a man who claims to be an evangelical Christian would have anything at all to do with positively “welcoming” a Jesuit into office. Historically, the Jesuit agenda stands against everything that biblical Protestantism is for. The Jesuit are notorious for undoing biblical Christianity
.

In a special report entitled ‘The Jesuit Agenda and the Evangelical/Protestant Church’ by Lighthouse Trails and Understand the Times, the authors elaborate very clearly on the following topics listed here. In doing so, they explain why the Jesuits and their agenda are so dangerous. Here is the list of topics in this recommended article.

- Who are the Jesuits? – Who Was Ignatius Loyola? – The Jesuit Oath – The Jesuit Agenda Today – Jesuit (Mystical) Spirituality and the Protestant/Evangelical Church – The Counter Reformation Continues – Where Else in Evangelicalism is the Jesuit Evangelism Showing Up? – The Fatima Plan

The following is a brief excerpt from the article ‘The Jesuit Agenda and the Evangelical/Protestant Church’:
The Jesuit Oath

It is said that the ancient Jesuits took the Jesuit Oath. This has been refuted by Catholic sources as a true oath taken by Jesuits of the past; nevertheless, there is evidence enough that the oath did exist to include excerpts of it in this report. We have taken these excerpts from a book titled Political and Economic Handbook by Thomas Edward Watson published in 1916, and found in the Harvard College library.

I do declare from my heart, without mental reservation, that the Pope is Christ’s Vicar General and . . .  He hath power to depose Heretical Kings, Princes, States  . . .  that they may safely be destroyed. Therefore, to the utmost of my power I will defend this doctrine. . . . I do further declare the doctrine of the Church of England, of the Calvanists [sic], the Huguenots, and other Protestants to be damnable and those to be damned who will not forsake the same.
I do further declare that I will help, assist, and advise all or any of His Holiness agents in any place wherever I shall be; and to do my utmost to extirpate [exterminate] the heretical Protestant doctrine, and to destroy all their pretended power
. (p. 437)

In another version of the Jesuit Oath, the Jesuit is asked to promise that he will make “relentless war” against “all heretics, Protestants” and to “hang, burn, waste, boil, flay, strangle, and bury alive these infamous heretics” (found in U.S. House Congressional Record, 1913, p. 3216).

The Jesuit Agenda Today:

While we are not saying that Jesuits today are murdering Protestants if they don’t convert to Catholicism, we are saying that the determination and efforts to convert Protestants back to the Mother Church still exist. Basically, while the methods may have changed, the plan and objectives have not. The following quote from an article titled “Essay on Popery” by Rev. Ingram Cobbin M.A. (taken from one edition of Foxe’s Book of Martyrs) is insightful:

The Jesuits, though at times expelled or pretendedly so from Rome, have been its awful emissaries to augment its power.  The intrigues and deceptions of these men would fill volumes, and the conveniency of their creed to deny or affirm anything, or assume any profession as it may serve their purpose, is too well known to need recapitulating here.  These men have at times assumed so much that every papal state has alternately ejected them; and large numbers are now in this country—doubtless many under false colours —waiting the most favourable opportunities to corrupt the rising generation, and, as much as possible, restore the dark days of former ages.  The Jesuits are unchangeable.

The Jesuits were driven in the past to bring back the lost brethren, and they are driven today with the same vision. Today, that vision is part of the pope’s Eucharistic Evangelization, drawing people to the Eucharistic Christ. The Eucharistic Evangelization is discussed at length in Another Jesus: The Evangelization of the Eucharistic Christ and in several articles on the Understand the Times website.

At the end of this article that thoroughly exposes the “Jesuit Agenda,” the author’s state some very interesting facts:
Rick Warren and Bill Hybels – protégés of Peter Drucker, by the way – have advanced the Jesuit Agenda by leaps and bounds. Many of these “new” Christianity
, new reformation leaders have ignored the prophetic warnings of Jesus Christ’s soon return based on the signs we see from Bible prophecy. Instead, they promote the establishment of the kingdom of God with all the world’s religions.

The emerging church movement, which has been widely propagated by Warren, Hybels, and a host of other Christian figures, has been used by Satan to quickly bring about this worldwide deception by introducing mystical experiences and the social gospel to an entire generation of young people. Sensual experiences that tickle the flesh of the postmodern generation are often the same ones that Rome has used in the past to convince the faithful that they have encountered the God of the Bible. History reveals that history is repeating, and the same tools of delusion are being used over and over.

Those who shine the light on the Jesuit Agenda are considered to be conspiratorial crackpots. The prophets of the past when they exposed the Babylonian worship by the leaders of Israel were also deemed to be crazy, as have been Bible-believing Christians since Christianity
began. One of those was John Huss  (1372-1415). John Foxe describes what happened:

[Huss] compiled a treatise in which he maintained that reading the books of Protestants could not be absolutely forbidden. He wrote in defense of Wickliffe’s book on the Trinity; and boldly declared against the vices of the pope, the cardinals, and clergy of those corrupt times. He wrote also many other books, all of which were penned with a strength of argument that greatly facilitated the spreading of his doctrines. . . . (13)

Rick Warren’s Extra-Ecumenical Impressions versus John Foxes The Acts and Monuments of the Christian Church

At the end of the day one simply has to wonder if Rick Warren has any understanding at all what the Jesuit agenda is all about? Does he understand their “vows” and what goes on behind closed doors in the Jesuit priesthood? Does he know that when he writes things like “Welcome Pope Francis, Cardinal Mario Bergoglio…You have our prayers” people that know the Jesuit agenda have to seriously think twice about the validity of Rick Warren’s “Christianity
”? Does he know that he is giving an extra-ecumenical impression that he himself is pro Pope Francis and the Roman Catholic Church?

Many people who are familiar with Rick Warren’s chameleon-like theological shiftings, his numerous false teachings and his unbiblical global P.E.A.C.E Plan are thinking more and more that Rick Warren may full-well know exactly what the Jesuit agenda is.

Perhaps his severe mishandlings of Scripture and his long-time rejection of bibliclal reproof will one day reveal that he is more more of a pawn in the grand Jesuit chess game than we all realized. Time will reveal more and more what the Jesuits are doing.

Foxes Book of Christian Martyrs is an abridged version of John Foxes The Acts and Monuments of the Christian Church. In Foxes Acts and Monuments, much more is revealed about the Jesuit plan to destroy Protestant Christianity
and its faithful preachers of the Word of God. Every Christian should read these works slowly and prayerfully, along with their Bible. If they did, there would be a lot less fake Christianity around and a lot more serious commitment to the biblicla Gospel and exposing the lies of the Satan.

Rick Warren’s Tweet of “Welcome Pope Francis, Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio” is a red-letter day for Jesuit Pope Francis, for all the Jesuit priests across the globe and for the deeply sinister age-old Jesuit agenda itself.

What lies in store for global apostate Christendom, this year and in the coming years, will be very telling indeed. As the ever-growing ecumenical Rick Warren agenda coalesces more and more with the global false gospel Roman Catholicism mysticism, the Jesuits are finally seeing the agenda fold out into full bloom.

RICK WARREN’S NEW REFORMATION LINES UP WITH TONY BLAIR’S “OPEN-MINDED” “TOLERANT” WORLD
Citation:
We have to be prepared to take the security measures necessary for our immediate protection. . . .The answer is to promote views that are open-minded and tolerant towards those who are different, and to fight the formal, informal and internet propagation of closed-minded intolerance.” – Tony Blair

The following article (below) written by Tony Blair illustrates further the world’s efforts to bring about PEACE (without Christ) and its move toward a one-world religion, which will reject biblical Christians as extremists who are prone to TERRORISM. Of course, this is absurd as true born-again believers in Christ are not prone to violence. What Tony Blair and other leaders are really calling for is a world where those who say Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation are silenced. If you don’t believe that, consider what Blair’s co-comrade Rick Warren said about Christian fundamentalists (meaning those who adhere to biblical doctrine):
Citation:

Warren predicts that fundamentalism, of all varieties, will be ‘one of the big enemies of the 21st century.’ ‘Muslim fundamentalism, Christian fundamentalism, Jewish fundamentalism, secular fundamentalism – they’re all motivated by fear. Fear of each other.’ (Rick Warren, from the Philadelphia Inquirer, 2006)

A false “Christ” is coming—the Bible predicts it—and he will hate Israel, the Jews, and Bible-believing Christians. While the world is going to do what it is going to do, how is that many of Christianity’s main leaders are falling into step with this world system that will eventually bring about the Antichrist? And how is it that within most denominations (including Calvary Chapel, Southern Baptist, Assemblies of God, etc.) there are many pastors promoting this apostasy and going unchecked and unchallenged? Remember what Rick Warren said about the new reformation he is hoping to help bring about, that it can come not just through Christians but through Muslims as well. He calls it a reformation from God.
Citation:

Who’s the man of peace in any village – or it might be a woman of peace – who has the most respect, they’re open and they’re influential? They don’t have to be a Christian. In fact, they could be a Muslim, but they’re open and they’re influential and you work with them to attack the five giants. And that’s going to bring the second Reformation.—Rick Warren, May 2005, Pew Forum on Religion

By Tony Blair
UK Guardian

“Religious difference, not ideology, will fuel this century’s epic battles”

The last weeks have seen a ghastly roll call of terror attacks in the obvious places: Syria, Libya, Iraq and Lebanon, as well as Egypt, Yemen, Tunisia and Pakistan. Also suffering are places where we have only in recent years seen such violence: Nigeria, and in many parts of central Africa, in Russia and across central Asia, and in Burma, Thailand and the Philippines. We can either see all of these acts of killing as separate – produced by various political contexts – or we can start to see the clear common theme and start to produce a genuine global strategy to deal with it.

The fact is that, though of course there are individual grievances or reasons for the violence in each country, there is one thing self-evidently in common: the acts of terrorism are perpetrated by people motivated by an abuse of religion. It is a perversion of faith. But there is no doubt that those who commit the violence often do so by reference to their faith and the sectarian nature of the conflict is a sectarianism based on religion. There is no doubt either that this phenomenon is growing, not abating. Click here to continue reading.

We have to be prepared to take the security measures necessary for our immediate protection. Since 9/11, the cost of those measures, and their burden, has been huge. However, security action alone, even military action, will not deal with the root cause. This extremism comes from a source. It is not innate. It is taught. It is taught sometimes in the formal education system; sometimes in the informal religious schools; sometimes in places of worship and it is promoted by a vast network of internet communications. CHRISLAM’S RICK WARREN PARTNERING WITH MOSQUES TO TEACH THAT GOD AND ALLAH ARE THE SAME

Saddleback Church in Orange County, California, home to super-pastor Rick Warren (Obama inauguration, Purpose Driven Life, etc.) has joined forces with Southern California mosques to adopt a three-step plan for ending enmity between evangelical Christians and Muslims.

This is the first such effort I’ve heard of by an evangelical mega-church. Many evangelicals regard Islam as Christianity’s number one enemy, and they do not at all agree that the two faiths worship the same God. This is likely to make waves. source – Jim Hinch

In honor of the U.S. military service men and women who have sacrificed their lives, Saddleback Church San Clemente, a regional campus of the Lake Forest, California-based church, will be hosting special services on Sunday that include a Wounded Warrior from nearby Camp Pendleton telling a part of his life story and a visit from church founder and pastor Rick Warren.

Machine gunner Sedrick Hay, who has been a part of 2nd Battalion 1st Marines, 2nd Battalion 5th Marines and currently, the Wounded Warrior Battalion, will share his story that includes having been deployed three times, once to Iraq and twice to Afghanistan. He is a member of Saddleback Church and will lead those attending in a moment of prayer.

The Saddleback San Clemente campus has come alongside the military community at Camp Pendleton in love for several years, and has ministries that include counseling and support groups for those struggling with PSTD, monthly barbecues with Wounded Warriors, quarterly baby showers for young women in the military, and back-to-school backpack giveaways – more than 800 backpacks filled with school supplies have been given annually.

"Join us this Sunday for a special service with Pastor Rick to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country," Saddleback San Clemente leaders state. "We'll experience live music and an amazing message from Pastor Rick Warren.

Immediately following the service Pastor Rick will be on hand to baptize those who are ready to take that step of faith. Come be a part of the excitement that is happening at Saddleback San Clemente this Sunday!"

Since founding Saddleback Church 33 years ago in Southern California's Orange County, Warren has become one of the nation's leading pastors. He mentors young leaders, and many of today's leading pastors credit him and his book The Purpose Driven Church for inspiring them to pursue their own callings to ministry. He has trained more than 400,000 church leaders from 163 countries on the Purpose Driven principles of church health and balance, according to the church website. Warren also founded Pastors.com - an online interactive community that provides sermons, forums, and other practice resources for pastors.

RICK WARREN ADDRESSES RUMORS HE SUPPORTS CHRISLAM

Rick Warren is calling his affiliation with Chrislam (a bridge-building attempt to allow the two religions to coexist) “nonsense” and “a lie that won’t die.”

Warren, pastor of Saddleback Church, directly responded to one of his Twitter followers on the microblogging site on Saturday. The question was: “Old guy on TV claims u support chrislam. True?”

That “old guy” was likely Jack Van Impe, the popular end-times television host who walked way from TBN in the wake of a dispute over naming well-known ministers he claims are mixing Muslim and Christian beliefs.

Warren had previously commented about the rumors in response to a blog post where people were attacking him for his reported support of Chrislam. In the comment, he pointed to Proverbs 14:15, which states “Only a fool believes all that he hears.”

Here is the rest of Warren’s response:

The so-called "Chrislam" rumor is 100 percent false. = Liar

If the guy who started this libelous myth, or anyone else who passed it on, had obeyed our Lord's command (Matt. 18:18-20) to come directly to me, and then asked what I actually believed—they would have been embarrassed to learn that I believe the exact opposite. As a fourth generation Christian pastor, my life and ministry is built on the truth that Jesus is the only way, and our inerrant Bible is our only true authority.

As an evangelist, I spend much of my time speaking to non-Christian groups. You cannot win your enemies to Christ; only your friends, so we must build bridges of friendship and love to those who believe differently so Jesus can walk across that bridge into their hearts. Besides, it is not a sin, but rather COMMANDED by Jesus that we love our enemies. In the past 10 years, Saddleback Church has baptized over 22,000 new adult believers—simply because we express love to those who don’t know Christ yet.

It is nonsense to believe that you must compromise your beliefs, or water down your convictions in order to love someone, or even just treat them with dignity.

Jesus was called "the friend of sinners" by the legalistic Pharisees because he hung out with (and clearly loved) unbelievers. I HOPE YOU will 1) Always believe that EVERYONE needs Jesus as their Lord & Savior. 2) Have the courage to associate with nonbelievers in order to love them and bring them to the Savior. 3) Consider being called "a friend of sinners" a Christ-like compliment. 4) Refuse to pass on rumors until you've checked for the truth with the person accused. The false statements above should be removed.

Will this put an end to the controversy? Should it? Or is it, as Warren says, the "lie that won't die"?

RICK WARREN : I REGRET COMING OUT IN SUPPORT OF CALIFORNIA'S ANTI-GAY MARRIAGE PROPOSITION

Statement from Rick Warren in 2012. He was lying to all the evangelical christians at that time. If you listen carrefully the interview here http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/11/28/rick-warren-purpose-driven-life_n_…, you will found a man who change the words of God, a guy who promote the global CATHOLIC agenda, and now he going to join interfaith Vatican conference on marriage and family. He lies about the faith of Bush and Obama, etc. The ultimate goal of this conference, they don't telling us, in the last article, will be the same-sex unions and other non-marital relationships as Cardinal Burke says. The pro-LGBT agenda is back by the Jesuit and it's completely satanic. This false LOVE is bestial and demonic. You just can check all the articles who are coming out and you will see by yourself. The new law of the land and antiterrorist laws now criminalize peoples who stand against all these perversions.

"Rick Warren: I Regret Coming Out In Support Of California’s Anti-Gay Marriage Proposition"

On Wednesday, conservative Evangelical Pastor Rick Warren expressed regret for instructing his congregation to support Proposition 8, California’s constitutional ban on same-sex marriage. During an interview with HuffPost Live’s http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/11/28/rick-warren-purpose-driven-life_n_…  Marc Lamont Hill, Warren attempted to downplay his endorsement of the provision, claiming that he intended to communicate his private support to church members and was not trying to take a “public” position on the issue. Warren expressed regret for ever backing the measure:
Citation:

WARREN:  I never made a single statement on Prop 8 until the week before. In my own church, some members say, “Where do we stand on this?” I released a video to my own members. It was posted all over like it was an advertisement. [...]
HILL: When your have a church of 20,000 people and you have a book that 32 million people have read and that 60 million people have accessed, to say, “I was just giving a message”—

WARREN: You’re exactly right, Marc, and I learned a lesson from that. What I learned from that is that anything I say privately is now public. And I actually learned from that mistake… Everyone took that to mean I was pontificating to the whole world.

HILL: If you could do it again, would you not have made that statement a week before Prop 8?
WARREN: I would not have. I would not have made that statement. Because I wanted to talk to my own people. As a duty, as a shepherd, I’m responsible for those who put themselves under my care. I’m not responsible for everybody else.

During the interview, Warren reiterated his opposition to same-sex couples — arguing that “It’s not a sin to love somebody, it might be a sin to have sex with them” — and suggested that he still backs the spirit of Proposition 8, just as he did in 2008. Then, Warren published his “private” video on his “News & Views” website for all of his followers to see and his comments were unsurprisingly picked up by the American Family Association’s OneNewsNow. The video is still preserved thanks to The American Prospect and RightWingWatch. Here again is that “private” video supposedly intended only for his 20,000 church members, in which Warren says, “If you believe what the Bible says about marriage, you need to support Proposition 8″:

Warren seemed to back away from his endorsement in 2009, telling Larry King that he “never once even gave an endorsement” of the proposition. Now that a majority of Americans consistently support marriage equality, he regrets that people actually paid attention to his anti-gay views.

POPE FRANCIS AND RICK WARREN TO UNITE FOR GLOBAL CHRISLAM CONFERENCE

NTEB News Desk | November 10, 2014

The coming One World Religion grows in strength daily

“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation 18:4

On Monday, November 17, 2014, Pope Francis will host a global ecumenical conference featuring Muslim leaders, pagans, and Chrislam founder Rick Warren from Saddleback Church in California. The official website says that the Colloquium is sponsored by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith and co-sponsored by the Pontifical Council for the Family, the Pontifical Council for Inter-religious Dialogue, and
the Pontifical Council for the Promotion of Christian Unity.

The conference will be held Nov. 17-19 at the Vatican, and is expected to feature more than 30 speakers from over 20 countries. According to the Catholic News Service, those of the Jewish, Islamic, Buddhist, Hindu, Jaina Shasana, Taoist and Sikh religions will be present, as well as Roman Catholics and professing Christians. Note the high number of professing pagan religions that will be represented there. The Pope doesn’t care what you believe as long as you follow Rome.

The Complementarity of Man and Woman: An International Colloquium is a gathering of leaders and scholars from many religions across the globe, to examine and propose anew the beauty of the relationship between the man and the woman, in order to support and reinvigorate marriage and family life for the flourishing of human society.

But beyond it’s stated purpose, the real reason for the global confab is to continue Pope Francis’ work of merging all religions into the One World Religion mentioned in the book of Revelation. Any excuse for a get together is fine, so long as all religions agree to lay down before the Vatican and get in line behind the Pope.

Last year, Anglican priest and close friend of Pope Francis Tony Palmer gave an impassioned plea to Kenneth Copeland’s church to “return home to Mother Rome”, only to die mere months later in a mysterious motorcycle accident.

RICK WARREN SAYS POPE FRANCIS IS THE POPE OF ALL CHRISTIANS WORLDWIDE (VIDEOS)

Building the One World Religion

“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation 18:4

There is a hardcore, full-court press happening right now to unify all Christian denominations under the banner of the Roman Catholic Church, and the charge is being led by none other than apostate pastor  and Chrislam founder Rick Warren of Saddleback Church in California. Warren has a purpose driven plan to break down and destroy the Christian church, and unite the pieces with Rome.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igNCUw1adIw

VIDEO : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igNCUw1adIw

In the above video, Rick Warren is seen slyly referring to Pope Francis as “our pope”, and then going on to brag about what a great job he is doing. He wants you to blithely assume that of course Pope Francis is the “spiritual head” over all of Christianity and not simply over the Roman Catholic corporation. He slips it in like that’s what everyone already thinks and believes. This is nothing more than mental conditioning. A bible believing Christian under no circumstances ever would acknowledge that any pope in the Roman system had any sort of rule over them of any kind.

VIDEO : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Ha03I1JXlc

In the second video, Warren lays out his reasons for why all Christian denominations should be united under Rome while failing miserably in his lame attempt to explain away Mary worship and worshipping of dead saints. He very incorrectly asserts that we “all worship the same Jesus” which, if the bible is true, we clearly do not. Warren holds great sway over the millions of his Laodicean Christian followers who simply accept what he speaks as the truth, and will never once check it against scripture. The Roman Catholic “jesus” is received by eating a magic wafer and drinking wine. The actual Jesus of the bible is received by grace through faith and nothing else. One has nothing at all in common with the other.
Citation:

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:3,4

This is the great falling away prophesied in the bible, and it is happening in our sight. Pope Francis seems like the man likely to fulfill the role of the false prophet of Revelation. Rome will once again swallow up the professing Christian church as it did in 325 AD under Constantine. Rome will once again conduct an Inquisition, but this time it will use the muscle of Islam instead of the army of Spain. Blood will flow in the streets from the veins of people holding a King James bible and refusing to worship the pope. These events have already happened, and they will happen again.

The only difference will be that this time, it will be Christians like Rick Warren betraying the sheep to the executioner.

LE PASTEUR APOSTAT RICK WARREN ET ELTON JOHN SE TIENNENT LES MAINS AU CONGRES, ET BLAGUENT SUR S'ILS S'EMBRASSERAIENT

http://www.nowtheendbegins.com/blog/?p=33010

RICK WARREN IN RWANDA ANNOUNCES PLANS TO HOST ALL 54 AFRICAN NATIONS AT PURPOSE DRIVEN CHURCH CONGRESS

By Alex Murashko , CP Contributor
August 13, 2014|8:12 am

Pastor Rick Warren announces plans for the All Africa Purpose Driven Church Congress to be held Aug. 6-10, 2015. Warren made the announcement during a press conference held in Kigali, Rwanda, Aug. 11, 2014.

Pastor Rick Warren of Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California, and author of The Purpose Driven Life, announced plans earlier this week at a press conference in Kigali, Rwanda, to host an unprecedented gathering of pastors and church leaders from all 54 African nations in conjunction with a national day of Thanksgiving next year.

The All Africa Purpose Driven Church Congress, which is planned for August 6-10, 2015, will be held during Rwanda Shima Imana, a relatively new celebration in Rwanda, a "Day of Thanksgiving" to celebrate reconciliation and gratitude on the anniversary of the Rwandan genocide. = The Jesuits and the Catholic church are behind the Rwandan genocide. This is how they take over the entire world. Remember that Rick Warren is a member of the CFR and a 33 degree freemason. He's a warrior of the Catholic church for the domination of this world.

The conference will be the first of five annual continent-wide conferences to take place by 2020, with the second planned to be held in Latin America in 2016, organizers said.

"I have been to Rwanda many times but this is by far my most important trip," said Warren. "This week I am bringing over 100 leaders from 30 African nations as well as Russia, China, India and the U.S. I want them to see what is happening in this country and to see the growth, development and progress that has been made in both this nation and its churches as we prepare for the 2015 gathering."

(Photo: Saddleback Church)

President of Rwanda, His Excellency Paul Kagame,(R) joined Pastor Rick Warren Saturday evening for Kwibuka 20, a special service at Saddleback Church to honor the victims of the Rwandan genocide 20 years later and celebrate the partnership and efforts of The PEACE Plan in Rwanda over the past 10 years, April 26, 2014.

Warren explained how the idea for The PEACE Plan was birthed in 2003 while he was speaking in South Africa, but two years later following a call from His Excellency Paul Kagame, president of Rwanda, it became a reality as the country became the first Purpose Driven nation.

"I have been working with and watching the churches of Rwanda for nearly 10 years, and I believe now is the time for them to be a model to the world," Warren said. "It would be just like God to take a small nation like Rwanda on which the world turned its back 20 years ago in its greatest need and use it for God and for good."

Warren emphasized that as leadership training begins this week in Rwanda and continues in 2015 with the continent-wide gathering, it will emphasize reconciliation, with Rwandan leaders sharing their stories of forgiveness and healing following the 1994 genocide, which took the lives of 1 million Rwandans and left 1 million children orphaned over the course of 100 days.

"I believe the secret to Middle East peace is in Rwanda," said Warren. "World leaders should be studying Rwanda. This should be the model."

The 12 pastors who serve on the Rwanda PEACE Plan Board of Directors joined Warren for today's press conference along with eight of more than 25 leaders that serve as Master Trainers for PEACE.

"These men, whether you realize it or not, are world leaders," Warren said. "What they are doing with churches in Rwanda is being watched by churches all around the world."

The PEACE Plan works worldwide to Promote reconciliation, Equip servant leaders, Assist the poor, Care for the sick and Educate the next generation, through a massive effort to mobilize millions of Christians to combat the five global evil giants of spiritual emptiness, self-centered leadership, extreme poverty, pandemic disease and illiteracy/education, according to church officials. Since its founding, Saddleback has sent over 23,000 members to implement The PEACE Plan in all 197 nations of the world.

"Most nations are validated by their strength in exports; Rwanda can become famous for exporting leadership," Warren said. "Rwanda should be the leadership and innovation capital of the continent of Africa. That is why I am calling leaders from across the continent to come to Rwanda next year to learn. The strength of Rwanda is not in the ground; it's in the people."

Through The PEACE Plan in Rwanda, Saddleback Church has worked together with the public, private and faith sectors of the nation – what it calls the three-legged stool of churches, government and businesses – to help lower the poverty rate, empty orphanages, provide healthcare, train pastors and provide education.

"What makes The PEACE Plan unique is that it is done by local churches, in local churches, in the community," said Warren. "I could take you to 10 million villages around the world where the only thing there is the church. The church is the biggest organization on the planet and has most potential to do good if mobilized."

Over 3,200 pastors have completed a three-year intensive training in the purpose-driven PEACE Plan. These churches now offer everything from micro-savings clubs to preschools to programs training farmers how to double their crops on the same amount of land.

The media site AllAfrica.com reports that Rwanda Shima Imana is a national Christian Thanksgiving Day and was "inaugurated in 2012, by Peace Plan, a brainchild of Pastor Warren, with a presence in most Christian churches in Rwanda."

"It is a day when believers come together to thank God for the progress made in the country and the Church so far," according to AllAfrica.

The 3rd annual Thanksgiving crusade is this Sunday (Aug. 17), at the Amahoro stadium. Warren is a member of the Rwanda Presidential Advisory Council and would like to see Rwanda Shima Imana a public holiday, "just as [Thanksgiving] is in some other countries, including the US, Japan, and the Netherlands," reports AllAfrica.

"It is my prayer that this day becomes a national holiday just as it is in some parts of the world," Warren said. "Twenty years after the Genocide, we are now a new Rwanda. We have seen the country develop and have nothing to hold against God, other than celebrating what He has done for our country."

RICK WARREN TO SPEAK AT PAPAL MASS

Jul 20 2015

Rick Warren has been scheduled to speak at Pope Francis' Papal Mass in Philadelphia

TBC: Rick Warren has been confirmed as a speaker at the ecumenical and interfaith gathering September 27. In an article from the Catholic Herald piece it is noted that some, "...of the speakers listed include Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle of Manila, Cardinal Sean O’Malley of Boston and Cardinal Robert Sarah, prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Sacraments. Fr Robert Barron and Scott Hahn, as well as Reverend Rick Warren and Rabbi Abraham Skorka, are slated among the speakers.

"Underlining the ecumenical and interfaith element of the meeting, Archbishop Chaput said 30 per cent of the speakers would be non-Catholic.

"In response to a reporter’s question, Bishop McIntyre said one session was planned on families with homosexual members; a man with same-sex attraction will speak and so will his mother.

"Archbishop Chaput added that all people are invited to attend the congress, but it was not organised to “provide a platform” on any particular issue “for people to lobby”.

"The archbishop said the “most important thing that can happen” at the congress “is conversion”, so that “families can become a force of change for good”.

[TBC: In the July 2008 newsletter, we noted that "The social 'gospel' agenda of Rick and Kay Warren, as evidenced by Rick's P.E.A.C.E. plan, is ripe for biblical compromise and unwittingly contributes to the development of what the Bible prophesies will be the Antichrist's one-world religion." The "conversion" that Archbishop Chaput alludes to is clearly designed to draw people into that same religious system.]

MEGA-CHURCHES, NEW WORLD ORDER AGENDAS EXPOSED! 2015 (CHURCH OF TARES)

This is the "GREAT SPIRITUAL AWAKENING" Rick Warren was talking about. A post-christianity gospel. Redifining christianity. Pagan theology, contemplative prayer, the business of the kingdom, etc. The last days, the apostasy of the christian churches.

Saddleback Church Pastor Rick Warren has shared a "hard message" with followers, telling them that many Christians do not love the church.

"Too many Christians use the church, but don't love it. This is a hard message for many of us to hear," Warren said Wednesday on his Facebook page.

"We've been deeply hurt by members of the church, we've been disappointed, we can be discouraged. But the Church is the bride of Christ. It's the hope of the world, the vessel through which God works out his plan. We have to learn to love the church," he continued.

"For some of us that means there's people we need to forgive, for others it means we need to get involved in service, and for others it means we need to change how we talk of the church. Jesus loves his church. If for no other reason than that — we must love the church also."

Warren has in the past called for Christian unity in a number of issues, including a large outreach program aimed at reaching out to the last remaining 3,000 groups of people who have never heard the Gospel.

Warren announced in November he is partnering up with Christian speaker Francis Chan for the "H" Initiative for Daring Faith, which in a conference in December brought together ideas about ministering to unreached and religiously unengaged people.
