URGENT PRAYER ALERT: “TOMORROWLAND” EVENT IN JERUSALEM 23 JULY (17th TAMMUZ)…AN ATTEMPT TO MAKE DEMONIC COVENANT WITH THE LAND THROUGH THE YOUTH OF ISRAEL

Posted on July 18, 2016 by Staff

18 Jul

The 17th of Tammuz is a Jewish fast observed yearly to commemorate among other disasters the breaching of the walls of Jerusalem by the Romans in 70 A.D. An event is being held during this fast, this year, which has the potential to be another disastrous breaching of the (spiritual) walls of Jerusalem.

TomorrowLand is an electronic music festival that goes beyond anything I have ever heard of, in terms of open communication and covenant with major demonic principalities. The festival has grown to over 400,000 attendees in Belgium, where it originated in 2005.

Here is an example of the openly demonic nature of this festival, as described by one trusted Intercessor (all of this can be easily confirmed in a quick search on the Internet):
Citation:

“On the centre stage of Tomorrowland is a huge slowing spinning replica of the CERN hadron collider gate. Do you think there is any possibility of hypnosis or mind control going on? Also on stage is a giant mirror in which the digitally created face of the goddess Kali appears and speaks to the crowds. These messages were seductively spoken over the masses of eager participants, As helicopters flew overhead, and as beacons of colored lights flashed across the night sky a deep, powerful male voice said: People of Tomorrow, as a new chapter unfolds, you will learn about one man, who knew the mysteries of the universe from within,

Because of his vision a great work was completed (CERN) With its sacred key, the machine can forge unique experiences continuously. Humanity can be reborn. The heartbeat of this device can be felt by all of you. (THIS WAS BEING SPOKEN AS THE IMAGE OF THE CERN MACHINE REVOLVED IN FRONT OF THE CROWDS)

As the mirror lit up, and the face of Kali appeared, a sweet, seductive, mesmerizing, female voice said: There is so much that can come between people. This can be healed by the expression of pure unity. Hold up your wristbands so that we can witness this illumination together ( KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS WAS SEDUCTIVELY SPOKEN BY A DIGITALLY PROJECTED FACE OF KALI SHOWN IN A MIRROR. KALI THE HINDU GODDESS OF DEATH AND DESTRUCTION. Kali is the wife of Shiva, the cosmic god, lord of the beasts, lord of the cosmic dance, the Destroyer. A statue of Shiva stands outside of the CERN headquarters.”

Here is a direct quote from the TomorrowLand website of their vision to unite seven key gateway cities of the world for their ceremonies on 23 July:
“On Saturday July 23rd, the second day of Tomorrowland, 7 countries will Unite with the People of Tomorrow in Belgium. A live video connection will be made between Tomorrowland (Belgium) and Mexico, India, Japan, Colombia, Germany, South Africa and Israel. Building bridges between Belgium and the rest of the world with a live connection from the Tomorrowland Mainstage, Live DJ sets on the local UNITE stage and the unique, magical Tomorrowland atmosphere: that’s UNITE, the mirror to Tomorrowland. People of Tomorrow, get ready to Unite…” [http://www.tomorrowland.com/unite].

Join the Global Family... Join the People Of Tomorrow.

-----

NOTE: I would strongly encourage you to pray for the covering of the blood of the Lamb over you and your family before viewing any of their website photos or videos.

SOME KEY WAYS TO PRAY:
  1. DIVISION – Although Satan obviously uses this weapon against Christians and messianic Jewish believers, Yeshua (Jesus) clearly taught it as something we are to use against the demonic powers and those controlled by them:
Citation:

“So Jesus called them over to him and began to speak to them in parables: “How can Satan drive out Satan? If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. And if Satan opposes himself and is divided, he cannot stand; his end has come.” Mark 3:23-26

After declaring the protection of the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ over ourselves and over our families, let us declare division over this effort to “UNITE” these gateway cities and their youth in demonic covenants. May there be division in their relationships, communications, and technical attempts to “UNITE”.

  1. DISRUPTION – In 2006, I was part of a group of Jerusalem pastors and ministry leaders who were led to proclaim in unity that the gates to our city be closed to a large, world-wide gay event that was to bring over 100,000 gays together for days of “revelry” in Jerusalem. This also was to be around the 17th of Tammuz. But Hizballah started firing missiles into Northern Israel, and the army announced that, for security reasons, all large events were cancelled, as they did not have the extra manpower to provide security for events. Let us agree that there will be major disruptions of this event, both in Jerusalem, and in the six other cities and nations, where it is scheduled: May the Lord of the Armies of Heaven release His mighty arsenal of creative weapons to disrupt and stop this event from reaching its goals.

  1. DELAY – There are times when we are called to delay the enemy’s plans when he attempts to accelerate events ahead of the Lord’s timing. In Revelation 10:6 an angel declares, before an outpouring of judgment, that “There will be no more delay!. This implies that there had in previous times been delays in the mercy of God. There are times when we as intercessors are to proclaim: “Let there be a moment of delay”. This is like hitting the “pause button” on what the enemy may later be allowed to do. I believe this is one such moment, when a generation of young people in Israel and around the world is ripe for a mighty movement of the Holy Spirit. Let us pray for this delay, that this generation will not be unknowingly swept by unholy worship music into making covenants with the spirits of death, but that this generation will be freed from the power of demonic sounds to hear the sound of the Lord, and to come into the life-giving worship of the One, True, Living God.

  1. DECLARE HIS PRAISES – It is obvious that the demonic beings understand the power of music to open hearts to the spiritual realms. As they are seeking to deceive and capture the souls of youth through their demonically anointed music, we need to release the far greater power of anointed worship music to sing “songs of deliverance” over a generation and over Jerusalem. About 25 years ago, we received an assignment from the Lord to counter a 2,000-year-old altar to Baal located on property of the Royal family in Belgium. When they kindly allowed an employee to guide us to this altar in the forest, we found a stack of large, flat stones. We felt the Lord guided us to not pray a thing, but simply to worship, and we sang: “For Thou O LORD, are high above all the gods…We exalt Thee”. When another team went there just six months later, the employee was shocked to find that the 2,000-year-old stack of stones had crumbled into small pebbles strewn on the ground!

  1. DISCLOSURE – We need to pray that this will not remain hidden, but will be exposed and revealed, especially to spiritual leaders/gatekeepers and Intercessors of the seven cities/countries targeted. Also, we need to pray that the youth, and especially the youth of Israel, will not be let astray by the lies of the enemy and lured into his traps.

Let us pray that this generation in Israel will not be deceived into “marrying the Land to Baal”, but that they will receive and enact the revelation of Isaiah 62:4b,5a: “…to Him your Land will be married. For as a young man marries a virgin, so your sons will marry you.”

Isaiah 49:24-25

Can plunder be taken from warriors,
or captives be rescued from the fierce?
But this is what the Lord says:
“Yes, captives will be taken from warriors,
and plunder retrieved from the fierce;
I will contend with those who contend with you,
and your children I will save.

ISRAEL & PALESTINE

Israeli religious sites are of special interest to the Vatican. It delayed recognition of Israel for 45 years, but then seemed to have decided that there was no way around it and began pushing hard for concordats. After almost 20 years of unsuccessful negotiations with Israel on a key follow-up concordat, the Vatican turned to the Palestinians to give it what it wanted on the West Bank and Gaza. They were eager for diplomatic recognition, so the Vatican seized the moment, recognised the "State of Palestine" in 2012. Three years later the Vatican concluded a secret concordat and refused to let Israel see its text.

Valuable religious real estate

There is competition among the different Christian groups forced to share their shrines and also among the world religions which all have claims on the Holy Land. The Vatican, in what has been seen in Israel as a divide-and-conquer strategy, supports a two-state policy which would remove Jerusalem from Israeli jurisdiction.

Sainthood doublecross?

Was Israel tricked into supporting sainthood for Hitler’s pope? An Israeli negotiator and a Catholic theologian both maintain that shortly after World War II the Vatican promised to recognise Israel if their diplomats and politicians would defend Pius XII against charges that he had turned his back on the Jews. (For more about Pius XII and the Jews, see Pope, Concordat and Holocaust.)

Agreements with Israel

♦ Fundamental Agreement between the Holy See and the State of Israel (signed 30 December 1993, in force since 10 March 1994)

♦ Legal Personality Agreement between the Holy See and the State of Israel (signed 10 November1997, but apparently never ratified by Israel [1])

♦ As of mid-2015 negotiations were still underway for a fiscal concordat with Israel to fulfil Article 10 § 2 of the Fundamental Agreement. “The text being studied does not touch on thorny issues such as territorial questions: the Vatican’s stance with regard to East Jerusalem and the occupied territories remains unchanged and the problems regarding ecclesiastical properties in that part of the Holy City and in the West Bank were deliberately set aside.” [2] However, the agreement would exempt Catholic institutions in West Jerusalem from taxes, and the King of Morocco has warned that this Vatican recognition would “give legitimacy to the Israeli occupation of Jerusalem and stir over 1 billion Muslims worldwide.” [3]

Agreements, first with the PLO and then the "State of Palestine"

♦ Basic Agreement between the Holy See and the Palestine Liberation Organisation (signed and came into force 15 February 2000)

♦ On 26 June 2015 the Vatican made a second concordat, a “juridical accord”/“global agreement”/ “comprehensive agreement” with “the State of Palestine” [4] with help from the Arabic-speaking Oriental Churches. According to the Palestinians, this concordat supports a two-state solution to the conflict between Palestine and Israel “on the basis of the 1967 borders”. [5] For its part, Vatican officials stressed that the Holy See had given official recognition to the State of Palestine since 2012. [6] According to the Vatican, this concerns the fiscal and legal status of Catholic facilities and personnel on the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. [7]
Citation:

The agreement is mainly about freedom of religion and conscience, the Church's freedom of action, its staff and jurisdiction, legal status, places of worship, social and charitable activity, and use of communications media. [...] The document also . [8]

But if this is all, why won't the Vatican publish the text and why has it refused repeated requests by Israel to learn the details? The Israeli government is concerned that the treaty between the Vatican and the Palestinians could contradict their own concordat. [9]

PRIME MINISTER BENJAMIN NETANYAHU ADDRESSES THE UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY, SEPTEMBER 22, 2016 - FULL

In this message from PM Netanyahu, you see all the problems Israel has to endure under the UNESCO human rights, but the most important is the mind preparation for the entire world for the coming future of Israel.  We know that under the UN, Israel will become the international capital of the world under the Pope rules. He didn't say it clearly but this is what's coming and for the ones who know the word of God, we know that we are very close to this moment.

ERDOGAN CALLS ON MUSLIMS TO 'PROTECT JERUSALEM'

VIDEO : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1JVNqdweH4I

God's warning about Turkey in the last days. Do you want to know what God has to say about what to expect from Turkey in our generation? Watch this video to find out.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday called on all Muslims to “defend the Palestinian cause” and protect Jerusalem. Speaking in Istanbul at a parliamentary symposium on Jerusalem and quoted by Al Jazeera, Erdogan said "it is the common duty of all Muslims to embrace the Palestinian cause and protect Jerusalem", adding that safeguarding the Al-Aqsa Mosque should not be left to children armed with nothing but stones. He accused Israel of "policies of repression and discrimination against our Palestinian brothers" and condemned the so-called Israeli “Muezzin Law”, which would prohibit houses of worship from using loudspeakers, specifically mosques, which disturb the sleep of nearby residents when the Muezzin calls worshipers to prayer in the early hours of the morning.

Erdogan criticized the bill as "irrational" and "conscienceless", reiterating criticism voiced about the law last week by Turkey’s Deputy Prime Minister. He also underscored the need for a "two-state solution" to solve the conflict between Israel and the Palestinian Authority (PA). "The only way for permanent peace in the Middle East is a free and independent Palestinian state with a capital in East Jerusalem," said Erdogan, according to Al Jazeera.

AG APPROVES NETANYAHU CRIMINAL INTERROGATION WITH A WARNING

Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit instructed police to launch a criminal investigation of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel’s Channel 10 News reported Wednesday night. This gives police the power to summon the PM to an interrogation with a warning (Israel’s equivalent of “Mirandizing” a suspect).

Netanyahu is expected to be interrogated over two cases; sources involved in the investigation told Channel 10 that the more serious case is already backed by evidence. The date for the PM’s interrogation is expected to be set in the coming days.

Ha’aretz reported earlier this week that police have recently discovered a new case which raises suspicion of corruption against Netanyahu. So far police have dropped earlier allegations about forgery in the election to the Likud leadership; and a clandestine campaign headquarters that received unreported contributions from Netanyahu’s rich friends. At the same time, a police source leaked to Ha’aretz that there exists evidence of those same rich friends systematically endowing the Netanyahus with gifts and benefits.

So far, every investigation against the PM that was approved by the AG since his appointment has ended with a dismissal of the case for lack of supporting evidence.

This time, according to Channel 10, Mandelblit changed his approach to the investigation he had approved, by becoming involved in the police work, preventing interrogators from summoning some witnesses, and becoming involved in formulating the questions to be posed to other witnesses.

POPE FRANCIS MEETS PRESIDENT MAHMOUD ABBAS

Visit Falls After Canonization of Palestine’s First Canonized Saints, Comprehensive Agreement Between Holy See and State of Palestine
January 16, 2017ZENIT StaffPope and Holy See

PHOTO.VA -- L'OSSERVATORE ROMANO

President of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, met Pope Francis on Saturday.

According to a statement from the Holy See Press Office, the discussions were cordial and the parties evoked the existing good relations between the Holy See and Palestine, “sealed by the Global Agreement of 2015, which regards essential aspects of the life and activity of the Church in Palestinian society.”

“In this context,” the statement noted, “mention was made of the important contribution of Catholics to favoring the promotion of human dignity and assistance for those most in need, especially in the fields of education, health and aid.”

Attention then turned to the peace process in the Middle East, and hope was expressed that direct negotiations between the Parties may be resumed to bring an end to the violence that causes unacceptable suffering to civilian populations, and to find a just and lasting solution.

“To this end,” the statement noted, “it is hoped that, with the support of the international community, measures can be taken that favor mutual trust and contribute to creating a climate that permits courageous decisions to be made in favor of peace.”

Emphasis was placed on the importance of safeguarding the sanctity of the Holy Places for believers of all three of the Abrahamic religions. Finally, particular attention was dedicated to the other conflicts affecting the region.

After meeting with the Pope, the President of the State of Palestine met with Vatican Secretary of State, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, and Secretary for Relations with States, Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher.

This is not the first meeting between Francis and the Palestinian president.

This meeting takes place in the wake of the canonization of two nuns born in the Holy Land, Saints Mother Marie Alphonsine and Mariam Baouardy, an event that the Palestinian president attended in the Vatican on May 17, 2015. They were Palestine’s first canonized saints.

On Jan. 2, 2016, the Comprehensive Agreement between the Holy See and the State of Palestine came into full force. Signed by the Holy See and the State of Palestine on June 26, 2015, the agreement “regards essential aspects of the life and activity of the Church in Palestine, while at the same time reaffirming the support for a negotiated and peaceful solution to the conflict in the region.”

HOLY SEE-ISRAEL : NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR COOPERATION

A New Plenary Session Was Held Yesterday of the Permanent Bilateral Commission, to Continue Negotiations. The “Atmosphere” Was “Reflective and Constructive,” Says the Vatican

January 19, 2017ZENIT StaffNews

As every year thousands of Christians - both locals and visitors from abroad - participated in the Palm Sunday procession. Due to the violence and political Situation Israeli Police told ACN that only half the number from last year participated. The procession was headed by the Ltin Patriarch Fouad Twal with Bishops and his clergy. The procession started in Betphage on the Mount of Olives and ended in Saint Anna church in the old City of Jerusalem.

A new meeting, in plenary session, of the Permanent Bilateral Commission of Work between the Holy See and the State of Israel was held yesterday, Wednesday, January 18 at Jerusalem, to continue negotiations based on Article 10 comma 2 of the 1993 “Fundamental Agreement” between the Holy See and the State of Israel . It has now been decades that the two States have been negotiating an Agreement regarding fiscal matters and the juridical status of the Catholic Church, among other issues.

A Vatican note explained that the session “accepted the progress made by the Work Commission regarding negotiations based on Article 10 comma 2 and is pleased that they were carried out in a reflective and constructive atmosphere.” Moreover, the plenary acknowledged the work done by the Ministry of Justice regarding the implementation of the 1997 Bilateral Agreement on the Juridical Personality” of the Church.

The parties then “agreed on future steps, in view of the forthcoming plenary planned for March 2017 in Vatican City.” After the meeting of the Bilateral Work Commission, the Holy See and Israel held a session of bilateral consultations at the Foreign Ministry during which both delegations “discussed matters of common interest” and “explored new opportunities for cooperation .”

The meeting was presided over by the Minister of Regional Cooperation of the State of Israel, Tzachi Hanegbi, and by Monsignor Antoine Camilleri, Vatican Under-Secretary for Relations with States. Present, among others, in the Vatican delegation were the Nuncio in Israel, Giuseppe Lazzarotto and Nuncio Antonio Franco, together with the Vicar of the Latin Patriarchate for Israel, Giacinto-Boulos Marcuzzo. The Israeli delegation included the General Director of the Ministry of justice, Emi Palmor, the Head of the Office for Jewish and Religious Affairs in the World, Akiva Tor, and Mrs Tamar Kaplan, First Vice-Procurator of the State and Director of the Law Department.

Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat is to open a national campaign Thursday in support of incoming president Donald Trump entitled "Israel Welcomes Trump". (www.israelwelcomestrump.com) Barkat will address the citizens of Israel via new media and ask them to sign an internet manifesto thanking President Trump for his unwavering support for Israel and for his promise to transfer the American embassy to Jerusalem. Barkat himself will present the letter and the signatures to officials in the American administration.

Barkat's call comes after eight years of Barack Obama's presidency led to a significant deterioration in relations between Israel and the US, with the lowest nadir reached after the US abstained in the UN vote against Israeli construction in Judea, Samaria, and East Jerusalem and even initiated the resolution behind the scenes.

The campaign in support of Trump comes at a time when the Palestinians and their supporters are making strenuous efforts to prevent the transfer of the embassy to Jerusalem. At the same time Barkat is calling on Israeli citizens to thank President Trump for his unflinching support of Israel and for his promise to transfer the embassy. Campaign organizers hope that the manifesto will serve to strengthen Israeli society against the anti-Israel initiatives of the Palestinian Authority.

Barkat added that he was addressing "all the sectors of Israeli society" and asking them "together to signal to officials in Washington that the biggest friend of the US is still here."

WCC GENERAL SECRETARY MEETS WITH PALESTINIAN PRESIDENT MAHMOUD ABBAS

26 February 2017

On 26 February, Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas formally received the general secretary of the World Council of Churches (WCC) Rev. Dr Olav Fykse Tveit for a meeting to discuss just peace in Palestine and Israel. Abbas is scheduled for a speech at the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, Switzerland, in the beginning of the week.

The Palestinian president expressed to the WCC general secretary the importance of the activities of the WCC in the Holy Land in accompanying Christians and local churches. Abbas said he calls upon local and foreign churches to pay attention to the message of Palestinian Christians and to encourage all non violent acts to bring peace and justice to Palestine.

Our role is to give Christian witness to the world and work for justice and peace  ,” said Tveit as he described the WCC’s peace and reconciliation initiatives in the Middle East and beyond.

Tveit noted: “We believe peace can be achieved only together with the other. We are called as a fellowship of churches to support the process of just peace.” He added “We believe and see that the local churches can and do play a role in promoting peace and justice on both sides of the conflict. It is important to strengthen the church and the Christian presence in the area, so that it can be a strong witness of peace.”

“No people should be denied their rights and, certainly, no people should be denied their rights for generations. The unresolved conflict in Israel and Palestine is primarily about justice, and until the requirement of justice is met, peace cannot be established”, he added “as Israel’s occupation of East Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Gaza nears the 50-year mark, generations have been suffering under this reality.”

Tveit said at the meeting “Israel since 1948 has been recognized by the UN as a state, and the WCC has since then done the same, continuing to uphold the decision to recognize two states.

The WCC General Assembly in 1948 has stated that anti-Semitism is a sin against God.” = But he says nothing about the UN/Human rights under Sharia laws.

The WCC has supported the UN resolutions that claim that there should be an Israeli and Palestinian state and that both should be independent and legitimate.

Tveit concluded: “We ought to insist on the duty to guarantee human rights and the need for peace and decent living conditions for all. This is the moral value of justice and peace that we all need to commit to. Both parties would be blessed by a lasting solution, and it would be an important contribution to world peace.”

Through the Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel (EAPPI ), the WCC continues to provide, since 2002, a sense of peaceful security for children on their daily walk to school. Results of a wide-ranging evaluation of EAPPI were presented during 2016, and efforts to strengthen the peacemaking programme will continue through 2017 based on the evaluation’s findings.

Tveit also presented WCC’s plans for 2017, including a special consultation on advocacy strategies for just peace in Israel and Palestine in March in Geneva, Prayer initiatives for just peace in June and the World Week of Peace in Palestine and Israel on 17-24 September.

The World Council of Churches has also asked for a meeting with the President of Israel to discuss just peace in Israel and Palestine.

ABBAS TO VISIT WHITE HOUSE NEXT MONTH  - REPORTS

President of the Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas is to visit the White House next month to meet US President Donald Trump.

The mid-April trip is being reported by Palestinian media, the Times of Israel notes, though no confirmation has come from the White House. Trump and Abbas spoke by phone last week, and the president extended an official invitation to visit Washington to the Palestinian leader at the time.

Trump's Middle East envoy Jason Greenblatt, meanwhile, has just finished a visit to Israel and the West Bank, where he met with Israeli and Palestinian officials and had an official meeting with the main Israeli settler organization, the Yesha Council.

The meeting with the Yesha Council is the highest level meeting ever held between the organization and a US aministration, the council said.

"Representatives from Yesha have met with [former US Secretary of State] John Kerry and others on the sidelines of events, but we have not had official meetings like this," Middle East Eye cites a spokesman as saying.

"The previous administration never met like this."

The council spokesman said Greenblatt, officially the president's special representative for international negotiations, reiterated Trump's position on settlements — to "hold back" on them for "a little bit" — and that they discussed the importance of establishing peace in the region.

During his meeting with Greenblatt, Abbas told Trump's representative that he believes a "historic" peace deal could be made under this US administration, and that a two-state solution remains Palestine's "strategic choice." He also said he was looking forward to discussing the issue with Trump in Washington.

Abbas promised to continue to fight Palestinian incitement, enhance security and improve the Palestinian economy, the Times of Israel reports. The Palestinian daily al-Quds reported that Greenblatt warned Abbas about efforts in the US Congress to put conditions on ending incitement — including the practice of paying stipends to the families of Palestinians killed in actions against Israel — on US aid to Palestine

Syria Urges UNSC to Condemn Israel Over Attack on Palmyra

The Trump administration has been seen as particularly friendly to Israel, with the then-president elect reacting with fury to the December resolution by the UN Security Council demanding an end to illegal Israeli settlement building and the administration only days ago pressuring the UN to fire an official who accused Israel of apartheid practices in a recent report.

However, the administration also seems keen to kickstart peace efforts between Israel and Palestine.

Arab states called on the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Executive Board to endorse a resolution, rejecting Israeli sovereignty over western Jerusalem, local media reported Thursday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to The Jerusalem Post newspaper, the resolution, arguing that "any action taken by Israel, the Occupying Power, to impose its laws, jurisdiction, and administration on the City of Jerusalem, are illegal and therefore null and void and have no validity whatsoever" is set to be put on vote on May 1. The paper was submitted by Algeria, Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Qatar and Sudan on behalf of the Palestinians.

The draft resolution also states that the Jewish holy sites of the Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron and Rachel’s Tomb in Bethlehem are "an integral part of Palestine."

While the UN body had reiterated its view that East Jerusalem was "part of the occupied Palestinian territory" in 2011, it is the first time when the Arab states urged UNESCO to question Israel's sovereignty over western part of the city. Over the decades, Palestinians have sought diplomatic recognition for their independent state on the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, which includes the partially Israeli-controlled East Jerusalem. The Israeli government, though, refuses to recognize Palestine as an independent political and diplomatic entity and continues to build settlements in the occupied areas, despite objections from the United Nations.

TRUMP TO VISIT THE VATICAN FOR PRIVATE MEETING WITH POPE FRANCIS ON FOREIGN TRIP AS PRESIDENT

The president’s Vatican stop comes after months of public back-and-forth on immigration with Pope Francis. During the presidential campaign, the pope seemed to question Trump’s professed Christian faith, telling reporters, “A person who only thinks about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian.”

by Geoffrey Grider May 4, 2017

President Donald Trump will travel to Saudi Arabia, followed by Israel and the Vatican, in his first foreign trip later this month. The Vatican visit will include a meeting with the Pope, according to a senior administration official

“And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.” Revelation 17:5 (KJV)

EDITOR’S NOTE: The needle on the end times-o-meter is pinned all the way to the right today as President Trump made his “historic announcement” that his first foreign trip would be to Saudi Arabia, Israel and the Vatican. His trip to Israel will coincide with the 50th anniversary of Israel regaining control of Jerusalem. Will he use this opportunity to announce the move of the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to the Old City? Ivanka Trump assured Jewish voters on the Sunday before the election that her father would “100 percent” move the US embassy to Jerusalem if he is elected president. We will be watching his every move…

Trump cast the trip as “historic” and a way to promote religious tolerance in remarks at an executive-order signing in the White House Rose Garden on Thursday. The visit to Saudi Arabia, he said, will include a “truly historic gathering in Saudi Arabia with leaders from all across the Muslim world.”

Saudi Arabia is the custodian of the two holiest sites in Islam, and it is there that we will begin to construct a new foundation of cooperation and support with our Muslim allies, to combat extremism, terrorism and violence,” Trump said, “and to embrace a more just and hopeful future for young Muslims in their countries.”

“Our task is not to dictate to others how to live, but to build a coalition of friends and partners who share the goal of fighting terrorism and bringing safety, opportunity and stability to the war-ravaged Middle East,” he said.

Trump’s tour will conclude with stops at a NATO meeting in Brussels on May 25 and at the G-7 summit in Sicily the following day.

The first foreign visit is typically a milestone for a new president. The stakes are high for White House staff, who are seeking to firm up alliances overseas.

Trump’s unbreakable promise:

Speaking at a synagogue in Florida on the Sunday before the 2016 election, Ivanka Trump assured Jewish voters that her father would “100 percent” move the US embassy to Jerusalem if he is elected president. Ivanka, who converted to Judaism in 2010 and is married to a Jewish man, called her father, the Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, an “unbelievable champion” for the State of Israel and for the Jewish people during a talk on Thursday at The Shul of Bal Harbour in Surfside, Florida, the Jewish Insider reported. “You won’t be disappointed,” she told the audience during the talk, which was filmed in part.

Trump responded by charging that the remarks were “disgraceful” and said he “liked the pope” before he heard them. “No leader, especially a religious leader, should have the right to question another man’s religion or faith,” Trump said at a campaign rally.
Citation:

“If and when the Vatican is attacked by ISIS, which as everyone knows is ISIS’s ultimate trophy, I can promise you that the pope would have only wished and prayed that Donald Trump would have been president,” said Trump.

Since Trump’s inauguration this year, Pope Francis has continued to criticize the president and his agenda, if indirectly. In February, he urged an audience at the Vatican “to not raise walls but bridges, to not respond to evil with evil, to overcome evil with good” and again suggested that Trump’s behavior was not in line with the values of Christianity.

“A Christian can never say: ‘I’ll make you pay for that,’” Francis said, according to the Guardian, in remarks interpreted as a reference to Trump’s claims that Mexico will pay for his proposed border wall. “Never! That is not a Christian gesture. An offense is overcome with forgiveness, by living in peace with everyone.”

More recently, at a news conference with Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni, Trump mentioned his interest in meeting with the pope.

Last week, Israeli officials confirmed that they’ve been in talks with the White House about arranging a visit to Jerusalem. source
