As the “infallible” Vicar of Christ and thus, “the Theocratic Universal Monarch of the World,” the Pope, through the religious, political and financial power of the Jesuit Order, fully intended, then and now, to ultimately rule all nations through his loyal kings and dictators from Solomon’s rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem. For when the Pope is crowned during his coronation these words among others (having never been taught to us in the Public Schools) are spoken:

Take thou the tiara adorned with the triple crown,
and know that thou art the father of princes and kings,
and art the governor of the world
.” {} 37

Thomas Aquinas, Rome’s “Angelic Doctor,” wrote in his Summa Theologica in 1272:

The Pope, by Divine Right, hath Spiritual and Temporal Power, as Supreme King of the World . . .” {} 38
Lucius Ferraris wrote in his Bibliotheca Prompta (1763), which has been adopted as a standard of Roman Catholic law, as follows:

On account of the excellence of his supreme dignity, he is called Bishop of Bishops, Ordinary of Ordinaries, universal Bishop of the Church, Bishop or Diocesan of the world, divine Monarch, supreme Emperor and King of Kings.” {} 39
Roman Catholic Priest and editor, David S. Phelan, paraphrased those words when he wrote in the Western Watchman, June 27, 1913:

Why, if the government of the United States were at war with the Church, we would say tomorrow, To Hell with the government of the United States; and if the church and all the governments of the world were at war, we would say: – To Hell with all the governments of the world. . . . Why is it the Pope has such tremendous power? Why the Pope is the ruler of the World. All the emperors, all the kings, all the princes, all the presidents of the world are as these altar boys of mine.” {} 40

For the Semitic, Israelitic, Hebrew/Jewish (pro-Torah/anti-Talmud) risen, reigning and returning Son of God, Son of Man, Son of Adam, Son of Abraham, Son of Jesse, Son of David, Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews, not the White Gentile, High Priest-King, Papal Caesar of Rome presently treading down Jerusalem through his Masonic Jewish Zionists who, through Jesuit-trained Israeli Foreign Minister Shimon Peres, formally deeded the Old City of Jerusalem in 1993 to Pope John Paul II

(the Pope also signing an agreement with PLO leader Yassir Arafat in 2000 that Jerusalem, sixty percent of its land being presently owned by the Papacy, should be an international city under U.N. protection), whose Papal successors, in accordance with Canon Law and guided by the Jesuit General, will continue to persecute, afflict and murder Jehovah’s beloved and racially Hebrew/Jewish People, “until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled,”

– Luke 21:24
– Revelation 19:16
Unless we repent, our time is short and our destruction, as a Protestant nation enjoying Baptist-Calvinist liberties, is at hand!

Yeah, the Jesuit General/Black Pope (Kolvenbach) wants to establish the The Chair of St. Peter in Jerusalem. I understand that the current Black Pope is scheduled to retire in 2008, if you can believe that. It would be very interesting who would occupy that exalted position! Events in the world will get down and very dirty!

They must nuke Jerusalem to destroy the dome mosque, if in fact that is the Jesuit plan, so that they can rebuild Solomon's temple. I don't know if I believe this or not, part of me does believe it. Do you think we really are at that point NOW ?
I would guess if we are, only the American people can stop it now.

I have had a gut feeling for quite a while that if they pull off
nukes in the US, DC will be a target to set up their world gov't. Especially, since they have moved so much to Colorado and switched commands. I figure there will be more targets. There are regions sectioned off in the US, so they have divyed up other areas to have strategic centers, too.

The al-Aqsa mosque was never the site of a Jewish temple, Sheikh Raed Salah, the head of the Islamic Movement's northern branch, said Monday during a press conference he convened in Jerusalem to respond to voices calling for the expulsion of Israeli residents of the city who participate in terror activities against Israel.

"Those calling for the expulsion of Palestinian residents of east Jerusalem are hysterical and stupid and belong in the trash can," Salah said at the conference.

He went on to deny any Israeli or Jewish historical claim to the city, denying that there ever existed a Jewish temple on the Temple Mount.

"The claims of the Jews are big lies and they have no right to any speck of dust here," he said.

Israel, he claimed, was carrying out extensive digs under al-Aqsa mosque, and was hiding destructive tunnels under the compound which had already caused damage to the mosque and several houses in the Muslim Quarter.

"I think that we are at a critical time. We believe that al-Aqsa is in danger and that it is under occupation, and we believe that Jerusalem is in danger because it is under occupation," Salah said. "Jerusalem is not only houses - it is faith, it is history, it is a culture, it is a present, a future and an eternal right that we will not relinquish."

In January, Attorney-General Menahem Mazuz filed an indictment against Salah, charging him with incitement to violence and racism in a speech he made last year protesting the archeological dig carried out at the Old City's Mughrabi Gate.

During his sermon in Jerusalem's Wadi Joz neighborhood on February 16 of last year, Salah urged supporters to start a third intifada in order to "save al-Aksa Mosque, free Jerusalem and end the occupation."

Salah's speech also attacked Jews, saying, "They want to build their temple at a time when our blood is on their clothes, on their doorsteps, in their food and in their drinks. Our blood has passed from one 'general terrorist' to another 'general terrorist.'"

He also said, "We are not those who ate bread dipped in children's blood."

FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 1,938 years the linen garments of the lay priests are being produced in preparation for the rebuilding of the Holy Temple and the renewal of the Divine service. The last priestly garments to have been worn were those worn by the priests who were martyred by the Roman legions who brutally invaded and destroyed the Holy Temple on the ninth day of the month of Av, in the year 70 CE.

THE TEMPLE INSTITUTE HAS SPARED NO EFFORT in procuring the necessary materials for the performing of this Torah commandment, and once again has enlisted 21st century technology in order to do so in a manner befitting the Torah injunction that these priestly garments be "both dignified and beautiful". (Exodus 28:40)

SPECIALLY PREPARED FLAXEN THREAD, wound into six-ply strands, according to the Torah prescribed requirement, ("twined linen - shesh mushzar"), has been imported from India. These individual spools of thread are presently being spun into larger 1.7 meter long spindles in order to accomodate the next step: the weaving of bolts of fabric 1.7 meters wide. Before commencing this process, (known in Hebrew as hashtayah), of creating the 1.7 meter spindles, Rabbi Yisrael Ariel, founder of the Temple Institute made the traditional shechechiyanu blessing expressing gratitute to G-d " ...for keeping us alive and preserving us and permitting us to behold this day." In addition, before every step of the manufacturing process, a special statement of intent must be uttered in Hebrew: "L'shem mitzvat assei assiyat bigdei hakehuna: for the sake of the positive commandment to make the priestly garments."

THE PREPARED SPINDLES are then being transported from the textile factory in the town of Gedera to a second factory in the city of Tel Aviv. There they will be woven into kilometer (3,280 foot) long bolts. The weaving process, (known in Hebrew as arigah), creates the checkerboard pattern described in Torah, (ibid 28:39).

THE FINAL STAGES of the manufacture of the garments involves the cutting, sewing and embroidering of the woven fabric, creating the tunic (ketonet), pants (michnasayim), turban (mitznefet) and belt (avnet). The turban (mitznefet) is eight meters (26 feet) in length, and is wrapped around the priest's head. Each belt (avnet) requires a sixteen meter (52 feet) length of linen, which is wrapped around the priest's waist. (During the time of the Second Temple, when preparing to serve in the Holy Temple, the priests dressed in the chamber known as the chamber of Pinchas the Wardrober, and each priest was assisted by a fellow priest with the turban and belt.)

AS ALWAYS, IN RECREATING TEMPLE-READY VESSELS AND GARMENTS, the Temple Institute research department initiates the process with intensive research, assuring in this case that the priestly garments will be created in strict accordance to the halachic requirements as described in Torah and in the unbroken oral tradition received at Sinai and preserved by Jewish sages throughout the generations.

EACH SET OF PRIESTLY GARMENTS will be tailored to fit its individual purchaser. The garments being created are not museum pieces or collector's items. Their cost is 2,500 shekel, (approximately $695). They will be sold only to true decendants of the High Priest Aharon, who aspire to be fully prepared for the day when they can once again perform the Divine service in the Holy Temple, may we merit to rebuild it soon!

INCREDIBLY, this is our first public announcement of the production of the priestly garments and we have already registered our first orders. A second production run is already being planned to accomodate the anticipated demand. In these very difficult and trying times we witness the enemies of the G-d of Israel arrayed to the north and to the south and to the east and to the west of the land of Israel, shamelessly boasting of their wicked intentions, and even Israel's friends are calling upon her to relinquish control over the Temple Mount, the one place chosen on earth by G-d for His presence to dwell, and for all mankind to be seen in His service. The demand by the descendents of Aharon for the garments that they will wear while tending to their daily responsibilites in the Holy Temple can only be understood as an expression of unshakable faith in the unfolding trajectory of Jewish history and in G-d's promise for all mankind: "And My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations." (Isaiah 56:7)

A 'Big Day' for Kohanim: Future Temple Priests Get Fitted
by Ze'ev Ben-Yechiel

http://www.israelnationalnews. com

(IsraelNN.com) In a ceremony befitting the Time of Redemption, tailors at the Temple Institute in Jerusalem's Old City began taking measurements of Kohanim earlier this month in anticipation of an even bigger event -- the dedication of the Third Temple.

Preparing Garments for Kohanim
Arutz 7 Video

Yehuda Glick, director of the Temple Institute, presided over the first-ever fitting of Kohanim for their priestly garments. "Today, in this room, Kohanim are being measured for the first time in 2,000 years for the type of garments they will be wearing in the rebuilt Bet HaMikdash", announced Glick to an audience of rabbis, reporters and cameramen on hand to witness the historic event.

Yehuda Glick, head of Temple Institute, explains registration process to Kohanim

The ceremony, inaugurating the Institute's new Bureau of Outfitting on Maamadot Israel Street in the Old City, attracted several well-known rabbis who are also Kohanim.

The garments of the Kohanim, as members of the Jewish priesthood are known, are described in great detail in the Torah. While scale models of the future Temple can be seen in shop windows and the clothes of the Priesthood can be seen hanging on mannequins, the event marked the first time since the destruction of the Second Temple that real-life Kohanim have been measured for the clothing of their holy profession.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Rabbi Israel Ariel delivered a speech describing the importance of the occasion. "Just like the korbanot [sacrifices] atone for the Nation of Israel, so do the clothes of the Kohen," he remarked. A man named Aviad Jerufi was on hand to model the full uniform of the Kohen, while each individual garment was described.

Pamphlets were then distributed to each Kohen being measured, containing a Halachic (Jewish legal) descrïption of the clothes they were to receive, along with a sheet in which representatives from the Israel Textile Association recorded each Kohens head circumference, shoulder width, leg length and other body as the measurements were taken before the audience.

Among the Kohanim being measured were Rabbi Nachman Kahane, brother of the late Rabbi Meir Kahane, and Rabbi Shlomo Riskin, Chief Rabbi of Efrat. Each Kohen measured received a Kohen number, with Rabbi Kahane awarded the honorary first number, 1, to much applause. Rabbi Riskin appeared as the next Kohen to be measured, and was assigned the number 2.

Kohanim are required by the Torah to wear a special set of garments while on duty in the Temple, and their priestly attire, known as Begdei Kehuna, is to be worn only during their Temple service.

According to Yaacov Gutfreund and Yitzchak Shechter of the Israel Textile Association, the clothes that the Kohanim measured during the special fitting are to receive are not intended to be worn during actual Temple service, but are meant to be identical in fabric and dimension to the Begdei Kohanim that they hope and pray to wear when the Holy Temple is rededicated.

The fitting of the High Priest, or Kohen Gadol, will have to wait until then.

Temple Mount Faithful Group Is Rebuilding Piece by Piece

© Venice Kichura

Apr 4, 2008

Piece by piece "The Temple Mount Faithful" is preparing to build the third temple in Jerusalem.

More than 3,000 years after King Solomon built the first temple, another Salomon is hopeful that the third temple in Jerusalem will be rebuilt someday soon. However, in a recent 700 Club telecast, Gershom Salomon said he didn’t believe the rebuilding of the Jewish temple would occur in his lifetime, but hopefully in the lifetime of his grandchildren.

Since the fall of the second Temple in Jerusalem (in 70 AD), Jews have been praying faithfully for 2,000 years for a third temple to be rebuilt. Gershom Salomon leads a small, although dedicated, group known as The Temple Mount Faithful who want to lay the foundation stone for the third temple. They’ve already consecrated a stone anointed with water from the Biblical Pool of Siloam. Although they wanted to place the stone at the Temple Mount, their attempts were stopped. Not only Arab Muslims, but also Jewish leaders stood in their way, fearing this would lead to disaster, destroying the Dome of the Rock (now held under Muslim authority.)

The Temple Institute

Meanwhile, The Temple Institute in Jerusalem has been rebuilding the temple, piece by piece. For example, a 95-pound pure gold menorah (worth about $2 million) has already been stored in The Temple Institute to be placed in the third temple. The Temple Institute not only is a resource for the history of the Holy Temple’s past, but also an understanding of the present day, and works to make sure Israel will rebuild the Holy Temple on Mount Moriah.

The Temple Institute houses sacred articles and vessels produced by Israel’s finest artisans and craftsmen. All sacred vessels and vestments are made in agreement with how it was first handed down from God by way of Moses. The vessels and temple garments are all made according to Biblical requirements to be used when the third temple is built. Both restored sacred vessels and original paintings are housed in the Institute, which is located in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem.

Ancient Artifacts Found

Because Muslims control the Temple Mount, Jews have their hands tied. Where the Temple Mount is considered the holiest site for Jews, it’s considered the third holiest site for Muslims. However, that does not stop them from digging under, as well as around it.

They’ve found artifacts dating back to both the first and second temples, including a Babylonian arrowhead from the fall of Jerusalem around 526 BC and a 2400-year-old Hebrew coin. Also unearthed was an ancient stone with the Hebrew inscrïption “to the place of the trumpets” (announcing directions to the southwestern entry of the temple on the Sabbath) 2,000 years ago.

Gabriel Barkay, a professor of Biblical archaeology in Jerusalem, has uncovered a number of ancient artifacts such as silver plaques, containing the priestly benediction from the Book of Numbers.

The Jews would love to be able to evict the Muslims and begin work immediately rebuilding the temple. That would result in even more Middle East chaos. However, to the Jewish mind, this would only signal the coming of the long awaited Messiah.

What Rebuilding the Temple Means to Christians

Of course, believers in the Lord Jesus Christ know from scrïpture that God doesn’t live in any physical temple made with human hands, but dwells in the bodies of believers (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). However, the rebuilding of the temple is an event of hope to Christians, too, because many devout believers believe that Christ cannot return until the temple is rebuilt.

Rabbi Glick: Temple is in our hands

Jerusalem’s Temple Institute takes biblical statement ‘build me a Temple and I shall dwell amongst you’ literally, enlisting hundreds of teens for this endeavor

Kobi Nahshoni Published:  07.31.08, 14:28 / Israel Jewish Scene

Mourning over the destruction of Jerusalem is normal in the month of Av, but at the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faith Movement all focus is on the “big day”  - the day in which the Third Temple will be built.

As part of the preparations, hundreds of teenagers are expected to sign the “Temple Treaty” and to proclaim, “We commit to doing everything in our power to abide by this commandment and to devote at least half an hour a week toward this effort.”

In the youth conference conducted by the Temple Institute in the Old City of Jerusalem, scheduled for Thursday, participants will discuss possible plans of action to further the building of the Temple.

Under the title, “Building the Temple, it’s in Our Hands,” lessons will be given by rabbis identified with the Temple and for the first time ever, a treaty pertaining to the necessity of building the Temple will be revealed.

“God commanded us in his Torah, ‘build me a Temple and I shall dwell amongst you',” as written in the document, “All of Israel must do everything they can to obey this commandment...”

In a conversation with Ynet, Temple Institute Director Rabbi Yehuda Glick vowed that this is the first event in a series that will institutionalize and widen youth activities.

“(Deceased general) Mota Gur said (during the conquest of east Jerusalem in the Six-Day War), ‘The Temple Mount is in our hands’, and I say now the Temple is in our hands,” said Glick.

“The treaty we composed contains a bunch of suggestions like Temple studies, embroidering priestly clothes, illustration for books on the subject, enhancing awareness, fundraising, or any other activity we believe can further the building of the Temple.

“No clause calls for the launching of LAW missiles or the exploding of the mosque at the Temple Mount,” Glick stressed.

Women are also expected to participate in Thursday’s event, during which they will watch a performance intended to encourage them to be active in the advancement of the Temple.

“This Temple is not just something historic stored in a memory chest,” said Glick, “everyone has the opportunity to contribute to this goal.”

Englishman John Yarker, a well-known nine teenth century Masonic magician and occultist, in his Notes on the Scientific and Religious Mysteries of Antiquity, makes mention of the fact that the High Priests of the ancient Jews also worshipped the sun god. He writes :

The Mysteries we know were pratices in a secret subterranean chamber under the Temple of Solomon, at Jerusalem, where fous and twenty elders adored the sun, will their faces toward the east.

What Yarker says is true, but as the scrïptures leaders in secret was an abomination to God. Ezekiel 8 makes this crystal clear. It is understandable why God would so detest worship of the sun god by the Mystery Religions and by the apostate Jewish elders.  In reality, in worshipping the sun, the ancients were worshipping Satan.  G.H. Pember, in a scholarly work on the Mysteries, Earth's Earliest Ages, affirms this fact when he states, "There is little doubt that the culmination of the Mysteries was the worship of Satan himself."

Now today, the Masons, as did the apostate Jewish elders and priests in the days of Ezekiel, continue to worship Satan, the sun god, also called Lucifer or Baal, by other names. The name of their great god, Jahbuhlun, which is revealed to Masons in the higher degrees, is a synonym for the solar deity ; two of the three syllables in the name, buh and lun, mean "Baal" and "On", both of which represent sun and fire gods. That is why in the authoritative guide Gods of the Lodge, Reginald Haupt reports that in the Lodge :

"All the movements by the Consecrating Officers of the Masonic Lodge or Chapter follow the course of the Sun. The Master and the Wardens enter and leave their chairs as the Sun returns to the East and goes forth therefrom. Most processional occasions are governed by these principles of what is known as "circumambulation." This ritual came from the ancien pagan rites of the Egyptians and from the worhip of their Sun God and of the sun itself."

In honoring and worhipping the sun in their rituals, Freemasonry and Illuminism defy God. The Bible's Job displayed great wisdom by uttering these words concerning God's thoughts concerning worship of the sun and the heavens :

"Il I beheld the sun when it shined, or the moon walking in brightness; and my heart hath been secretly enticed...this also was an iniquity to be punished by the judge; for I should have denied the God who is above." Job 31 : 26-28

Religious movement’s Tisha B’Av pamphlet shows Temple Mount minus Muslim sites; group chairman says hopes al-Aqsa will be obliterated altogether, not just through Photoshop software

Kobi Nahshoni Published:  08.15.08, 08:08 / Israel Jewish Scene

"On the eve of Tisha B'Av the serious question is raised whether we should take the opportunity and ascend to the Temple Mount as it stands empty, inviting us to build our dream house on it."

Whoever read this caption which appeared on the cover of the Maayanei Hayeshua movement’s latest pamphlet might have thought that this was a symbolic expression of the expected redemption on the eve of Tisha B’Av.

However, those with a keen eye noticed that the huge picture of the Temple Mount which was spread on the cover page was missing the Dome of the Rock, and that the pamphlet “cleaned” the mount of all Muslim signs

The Islamic Movement’s northern branch did not like the graphic design work and is attributing the “infiltration of inciting material calling for the obliteration of al-Aqsa in all synagogues in Israel” to this Zionist movement.

On the right side of the photograph, which was taken from the steps leading down from the Jewish Quarter to the Western Wall square, the wall is seen and above it the Temple Mount.

Instead of the mosque and the dome, old Jerusalem houses are seen, “with the goal of expressing the yearning for something else on the Temple Mount,” according to the pamphlet’s editor.

Islamic Movement: Worried, yet not surprised

The northern branch of the Islamic Movement claimed in response that the graphic manipulation of the picture was incitement.

The movement’s spokesman, Attorney Zahi Nujidat, told Ynet that he was worried that all the synagogues would adopt this kind of material which implicitly calls for the erasure of the al-Aqsa Mosque.

Moreover, Nujidat said he was not surprised to see the refurbished picture.

Real picture to the left, recreation to the right (Photo: Magazine cover, Michael Huri)

“It is no secret that the State and the nation of Israel have an arrow pointing in one direction, building a Third Temple at the expense of the al-Aqsa Mosque,” said the spokesman.

“Just today, I, along with members of the movement took a tour and we were exposed to shocking maps and documents signed by official Israeli bodies. Detailed plans for the construction of synagogues on the western side of the Temple Mount... as if they were public yards, are seen there."

Nujidat added that some public institutions saw the picture of the Third Temple placed “on al-Aqsa’s territory,” and concluded by saying that “in my opinion and in the opinion of all Muslims, the Temple Mount is a mosque and we do not recognize anything else being planned to be built there.”

The chairman of the Maayanei Hayeshua movement told Ynet in response that “Jews throughout the world hope for a day in which the al-Aqsa Mosque will actually be obliterated from the Temple Mount and not just by means of Photoshop software.

“We have been waiting for this day for too long. When it happens, Jews from the entire world will come to Jerusalem in order to build the beloved Temple, and no Muslim will dare open his mouth against it. I hope that Israel is indeed ready for this day.”

(Job 31 :26-28)

28 Iyar 5765
The Sanhedrin calls upon all groups who work in the area of Temple and Temple Mount-related research and activity, to begin to prepare detailed architectural plans for the construction of the Holy Temple, towards the goal of its establishment in its proper place.

The Sanhedrin will establish a forum of architects and engineers whose goal will be to implement this decision, so that detailed working plans are effectively brought to an operational stage.

The Sanhedrin calls upon the Jewish people to contribute towards the acquisition of materials for the purpose of rebuilding the Holy Temple; the gathering and preparation of prefabricated, disassembled portions of this building to be stored and ready for rapid assembly, in the manner of King David. These contributions will be consider "chulin," i.e., non-sacred, for the purpose of the planning and construction of the Temple.

LA FÊTE DE Tisha B'Av, QUI MARQUE L'ANNIVERSAIRE DU PREMIER ET DEUXIÈME TEMPLE DÉTRUIT SEMBLE AUSSI MARQUER LE COUP D'ENVOI POUR LE 3e TEMPLE À VENIR - "Today, Tisha B'av, is not just a time to mourn the destruction of the Temple," said Rabbi Yisrael Ariel, the head of the Temple Institute. “It is also a time to build.".

The Temple Institute, an organization which has tasked itself with the construction of the Third Temple, has embarked on an ambitious project to recreate the altar of sacrificehttp://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/132664 . The Temple Institute celebrated Tisha B'Av, the anniversary on which both the First and Second Jewish Temples were destroyed, by laying the foundation stones for the altar. As it is currently forbidden for the Jewish people to build on the Temple Mount itself, the Temple Institute have decided to construct a smaller version of the altar of sacrifice, which can be transported to the site at a later date. Jewish rabbis took stones from the Dead Sea area, which should have never been tooled by man according to the Mosaic law, and laid them within a fenced area. They then poured a tar-like substance on top to bind the stones together. The Temple Institute have recreated many of the artefacts that will be used in the administration of the Temple. Two months ago, the Temple Institute announced they had just completed the manufacture of the golden censers, which are to be used by the priests in the administration of the temple. They have also manufactured the priestly garments, the High Priest's crown, the blue ephod, the golden menorah, and many other implements that will be used in the rebuilt temple. They are also working with the Sanhedrin on blueprints for the construction of the Third Temple, which according to their current calculations, should be built on the site presently occupied by the Dome of the Rock.

Quote: "The Temple Institute has already built several of the Temple vessels such as the Ark and the menorah, and has now embarked on an ambitious project to build the altar, which will ultimately measure 3 meters wide by 3 meters long and 2 meters tall. During Thursday’s ceremony, which took place in Mitzpe Yericho just east of Jerusalem, the Temple Institute laid the cornerstone for the altar and demonstrated how tar will be used to cement the stones together. The Institute plans on bringing the altar to its proper place on the Temple Mount when the Temple is rebuilt. "Today, Tisha B'av, is not just a time to mourn the destruction of the Temple," said Rabbi Yisrael Ariel, the head of the Temple Institute. “It is also a time to build."

The Ark mentioned here is simply a mock-up constructed by the Temple Institute for research purposes. There is debate as to the real ark's exact location, if indeed it still exists today. Israeli scholars believe it could be located in a maze of tunnels beneath the Temple Mount. But Islamic control of the site has largely prevented any extensive archaeological work being carried out. Without the Ark the Jews cannot have a Temple, because in the Old Testament the Ark and the Mercy Seat upon it represented the very presence of God (Exodus 25:22). But the scrïptures indicate that following the regathering of the Jews to the land, that the nation of Israel would no longer regard the Ark of the Covenant (Jeremiah 3:16). I don't think Judaism has an answer as to why that will be. We Christians, however, know the reason why that might be so. True believers in the Messiah are now under the New Covenant, which is not written on tables of stone, but on our hearts through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit (Jeremiah 31:31-33). The Ark of the Covenant contained the manna, which sustained the children of Israel during their time in the wilderness. Jesus Christ is the true bread, the Bread of Life, which came down from heaven (John 6:32-35). He is that true bread which came down from heaven, which if a man eat, he shall live forever (John 6:48-51). The Ark also contained Aaron's rod that budded, which proved that he was the one chosen by God to stand before Him and intercede for the people (Numbers 17:10). We have one who is representing us in Heaven today, the Great High Priest, Jesus Christ the Righteous (Hebrews 4:14-16). Aaron was to sprinkle the blood of the sin offering before the Mercy Seat in order to obtain forgiveness for the people. But Jesus Christ has offered Himself as a sacrifice for our sins, and has made our peace with God through the blood of His cross (Colossians 1:20). No wonder the Ark of the Covenant will not be visited when Israel turns to their Messiah for salvation. He is our Covenant (Isaiah 42:6).

A friend of mine sent me some verses relating to this latest development. According to the book of Ezra, there is a precedent for offering sacrifices upon the altar on the Temple Mount, even while the Temple itself has not yet been constructed.

Ezra 3:1-7
And when the seventh month was come, and the children of Israel were in the cities, the people gathered themselves together as one man to Jerusalem. Then stood up Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and his brethren the priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and his brethren, and builded the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings thereon, as it is written in the law of Moses the man of God. And they set the altar upon his bases; for fear was upon them because of the people of those countries: and they offered burnt offerings thereon unto the LORD, even burnt offerings morning and evening. They kept also the feast of tabernacles, as it is written, and offered the daily burnt offerings by number, according to the custom, as the duty of every day required; And afterward offered the continual burnt offering, both of the new moons, and of all the set feasts of the LORD that were consecrated, and of every one that willingly offered a freewill offering unto the LORD. From the first day of the seventh month began they to offer burnt offerings unto the LORD. But the foundation of the temple of the LORD was not yet laid.

Of course this would necessitate the cleansing of the site through the ashes of the red heifer, and the permission from the Israeli government to recommence the sacrificial system. The Bible seems to indicate that this could happen at the beginning of Daniel's 70th week, which commences the seven year rule of the Antichrist over the nation of Israel (Daniel 9:27). Revelation 11:2 indicates that a Temple will be constructed within the first three and a half years of the sacrifices being resumed, and that this will be the Temple that the Antichrist will subsequently defile (2nd Thessalonians 2:4). Whether this stone altar represents the beginning of the fulfilment of this particular prophecy, I couldn't say. But as you can see, a determined effort is being made by the Temple Institute and other organizations in Israel, to rebuild the Jewish Temple and restore its place in the nation. And that can only mean one thing, that the return of Christ is near. Are you under the blood of the New Covenant? Or are you trusting in something or someone which can never take away sins? Only Jesus Christ can forgive sins, because only He was sinless and only He gave His life for you upon the cross. Why don't you trust in Him for salvation today.

Isaiah 53:10-11
Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

August 7, 2009

In a historically unprecedented development, a famous, controversial but highly influential Muslim intellectual and author with over 65 million of his books in circulation worldwide, Turkish Muslim leader Adnan Oktar recently met with three representatives from the re-established Jewish Sanhedrin to discuss how religious Muslims, Jews and Christians can work together. One of their declared goals: to rebuild the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem.

Shalom in Christ Jesus,

When it comes to Biblical prophecies that have yet to be fulfilled, I try to be very flexible. However, I am not flexible at all when it comes to sound doctrine http://www.blueletterbible.org/Bible.cfm?b=Tts&c=1&v=1&t=NASB#comm/9 , as the Word of God is very clear. These two things need to be distinguished, and sadly, many believers have great difficulty in doing so most likely because of scrïptural ignorance or false teaching.

One of the statements I heard Jacob Prasch say that so drew me towards this ministry early on was that "if you hear someone say that have it all figured out, watch out". These are the people that when something doesn't quite fit "they pull out the monkey wrench and make it fit". This makes me think of defense attorney Johnnie Cochran's famous line in the O.J. Simpson murder trial, "If it doesn't fit, you must acquit". That is something the Evangelical church must learn concerning lines of reasoning that have proven be lacking in the area of Biblical prophecy. [Note: Please understand I am not trying to make light of that murder or trial and what many consider a grave injustice while others consider it the first real justice for a black American - This is another example of nation vs. nationhttp://www.blueletterbible.org/Bible.cfm?b=Mat&c=24&v=1&t… )]

Back in 2001, the Lord revealed to me in my heart a sin of elevating a particular end-times doctrine to the point of being an idol. For me this doctrine was so important it would cause me to dismiss the teaching of another brother in the Lord if they did not hold to this one doctrine and Jesus showed me how wrong this was, especially when I was a stickler for proper study of the Word concerning everything else.

Now I really try to take the approach of being an investigator with the aim of always getting to the truth no matter what, even if it disrupts my previously held beliefs or 'pet' theories. Take the ten kingshttp://www.blueletterbible.org/Bible.cfm?b=Dan&c=7&v=24&t=… for example, I will use an approach where I have made lists of all the different possible interpretations (out of the scrïpture, some popular, some strange ones just for the fun of it and to "think outside of my preconceived box") and lay them before the Lord and slowly eliminate over time the ones that clearly are not possible. The one that really fits the bill as of late are the Muslim nations surrounding Israel and the biggest reason is that they fit all the scrïptural requirements. However, I will get into that in a future alert.

With that said lets get to this alert and what could also be titled a "Little Horn Alert? http://www.blueletterbible.org/Bible.cfm?b=Dan&c=7&v=8&t=NASB#8 " For some time I have been watching Turkey and Kurdistan (Assyria) with an eye that this area very well could be where the "Anti-Christ" arises as it fits with the information given in Daniel and many also consider Gog of Magoghttp://www.blueletterbible.org/Bible.cfm?b=Eze&c=38&v=2&t=…  to be modern Turkey, not Russia.

It is always interesting to note that Rome's sister city is Istanbul, formerly Constantinople and also called a "City of Seven Hills"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cities_claimed_to_be_built_on_seven_hills , the official city logo showing seven mosques http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Ibb.gif , although we should note that the seven mountains are seven kingdoms and the city of Revelation 17-18 is not an ordinary city but a "great city".

As with many WorldNet Daily articles I must warn that this one is a series that promotes a new book under the WND banner. However, this report is also confirmed straight from the Sanhedrin's own website which I have provided below. Therefore, this has turned out to be one of those articles I had to send out ASAP, as it is important no matter what the interpretation of these other things.

Whatever the outcome, prophetic events definitely seem to be speeding up. This alert is a preview to a soon to come alert, Be Alert! Prophetic Signs Everywhere that will cover much more news regarding the Temple Mount, Biblical Archeology and other related news that shows the scrïpture is being fulfilled more and more everyday!

These are indeed very exciting times

May the Lord bless you and keep you,

WORLDNETDAILY - By Joel Richardson - August 6, 2009
In a historically unprecedented development, a famous Turkish Muslim leader and a prominent group of Israeli rabbis have joined together on one of their declared goals, to rebuild the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem. Adnan Oktar http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adnan_Oktar , who uses the pen name of Harun Yahya, is a controversial but highly influential Muslim intellectual and author with over 65 million of his books in circulation worldwide. Oktar recently met with three representatives from the re-established Jewish Sanhedrin, a group of 71 Orthodox rabbis and scholars from Israel, to discuss how religious Muslims, Jews and Christians can work together

The objectives of the alliance include waging a joint intellectual and spiritual battle against the worldwide growing tide of irreligiousness, unbelief and immorality. But even more unusual is their agreement with regard to the need to rebuild the Jewish Temple, a structure Oktar refers to as the "Masjid (Mosque)" or the "Palace of Solomon." An official statement about the meeting has been published on the Sanhedrin's website. Concluding the statement is the following call:

Out of a sense of collective responsibility for world peace and for all humanity, we have found it timely to call to the world and exclaim that there is a way out for all peoples. It is etched in a call to all humanity: We are all the sons of one father, the descendants of Adam, and all humanity is but a single family. Peace among nations will be achieved through building the House of G-d, where all peoples will serve as foreseen by King Solomon in his prayers at the dedication of the First Holy Temple. Come let us love and respect one another, and love and honor and hold our heavenly Father in awe. Let us establish a house of prayer in His name in order to worship and serve Him together, for the sake of His great compassion. He surely does not want the blood of His creations spilled, but prefers love and peace among all mankind. We pray to the Almighty Creator, that you harken to our Call. Together - each according to his or her ability - we shall work towards the building of the House of Prayer for All Nations on the Temple Mount in peace and mutual understanding.

I was also able to meet recently with Mr. Oktar in Istanbul where he described to me his vision for the rebuilding of Solomon's Temple:

The Palace of Solomon is a historically important palace, and rebuilding it would be a very wonderful thing. It is something that any Jew, a Christian or a Muslim should welcome with enthusiasm. Every Muslim, every believer will want to return to those days, to experience those days again and, albeit partially, to bring the beauty of those days back to life.

Oktar has also stated that the Temple of Solomon "will be rebuilt and all believers will worship there in tranquility." During his meeting with the Sanhedrin rabbis, Oktar expressed his belief that the Temple could be rebuilt in one year

It could be done in a year at most. It could be built to the same perfection and beauty. The Torah says it was built in 13 years, if I remember correctly. It could be rebuilt in a year in its perfect form.

Since the meeting took place, I have also had the privilege to discuss these things in some detail with Rabbi Abrahamson and Rabbi Hollander, two of the rabbis who met with Mr. Oktar. Regarding the rebuilding of the Temple, Rabbi Hollander explained, "The building of the Temple is one of the stages in the Messianic process." But another possibility that has been presented is that the Dome of the Rock that sits so prominently on the Temple Mount be used as "a place prayer for all nations." This title is found in the book of the Prophet Isaiah.

"This should be fairly simple," explained Rabbi Hollander. "It is said that the structure of the Dome in Haram E-Sharrif (the Temple Mount) was originally meant by (Caliph) Omar to be a House of Prayer for Jews, and the Al-Aqsa for Muslims." However, he also explained that religious Jews would not be able to enter the Dome of the Rock unless it had first been ritually cleansed according to Jewish halakhic regulations.

While the prominence of the figures involved in this joint call to rebuild the Jewish Temple is highly noteworthy, other groups have also recently made news with unique vision for the Temple Mount. Yoav Frankel, an Orthodox Jew who has been deeply involved in INTERFAITH DIALOGUE with Muslims, also envisions a shared Temple Mount. This project is called "GOD'S HOLY MOUNTAIN" and is an effort of the Interfaith Encounter Association, a group dedicated to promoting peace in the Middle East. What is unique about the God's Holy Mountain project is that it envisions the day when the Jewish Temple will exist side by side with the Dome of the Rock

"This vision of religious shrines in peaceful proximity can transform the Temple Mount from a place of contention to its original sacred role as a place of worship shared by Jews, Muslims and Christians," said Frankel in a Jerusalem Post interview. A colorful painting of this vision features prominently on Frankel's website.

A paper on the God's Holy Mountain website, written by an unnamed Muslim scholar, asks the following question: "Would a Jewish synagogue erected on the Temple Mount or the Noble Sanctuary make the Blessed Land less blessed? It will certainly add to its blessing because it will invite more voices that exalt and glorify the One God, to whom we all pray."

The vision of God's Holy Mountain may not be all that far off. The Obama administration has also suggested that Jerusalem could become an international city that would be shared by peoples from all three Abrahamic faiths.

Even the Knesset is getting in on the discussion. Members of the Israeli Knesset gathered together last week with several Jewish scholars to discuss the role of the Jewish Temple in Jewish life. Referring to those Muslims who do not acknowledge the Jewish history of the Temple Mount, Dr. Mordechai Keidar stated, "The struggle for Jerusalem is not territorial, it is theological. ... Do we give in to the Muslim claim that Judaism is no longer relevant?"

While religious Jews have yearned for the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple literally for two millennia, some skeptical left-wing commentators have mocked the notion that this will ever take place. One anti-religion blogger recently claimed that, "most Israelis have no interest in a 'Third Temple' and would resent the way such a thing would symbolize the power of an already overbearing religious establishment." He then mocked the idea as something that only exists "on the outer fringes in the Israel of the real world" while any Christian expectation of a future Temple is mere "Christian fundamentalist fantasy." Yet, according to a recent poll conducted for Ynet News [See Below] and the Gesher organization, over two-thirds of the Israeli public desires to see the Jewish Temple rebuilt, including almost half of the non-religious. According to Ynet News, 64 percent of those questioned responded favorably to the idea of rebuilding the Temple, while 36 percent were not in favor of such a project:

An analysis of the answers showed that not only the ultra-Orthodox and the religious look forward to the rebuilding of the Temple (100 percent and 97 percent respectively), but also the traditional public (91 percent) and many seculars - 47 percent.

Meanwhile, the work of the Temple Institute, a group that has openly dedicated itself for years to rebuilding the Jewish Temple goes on. They have already created many of the most significant priestly utensils and pieces of furniture necessary for the Temple once it is ready. In a recent video release, entitled "Dare to Dream / Dare to Build," several on-the-street interviews reveal the passion for the Temple that are held by many average Israelis. One young man expressed his belief that the building of the Jewish Temple "will bring harmony, some tranquility in the world, some peace." Another women joyfully states, "The entire purpose of creation is that we build the Holy Temple."

The suggestion of rebuilding the Jewish Temple is deeply significant to Christians, particularly those who are students of Bible prophecy. According to the Bible, an imposter messiah known as the Antichrist will someday invade the land of Israel and "set himself up" in the "God's Temple." The Apostle Paul lays this out quite clearly:

He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God's Temple, proclaiming himself to be God. - 2 Thessalonians 2:4

As a result, many Christians who understand the biblical teaching regarding the last days take note of this news with a deep measure of caution and trepidation.

Another serious cause for concern is the fact that, according to Islamic sacred tradition, the Mahdi, Islam's primary messiah figure, will one day invade the land of Israel and establish his seat of authority on the Temple Mount. According to one sacred tradition, an Islamic army will come from Iran and conquer Jerusalem:

(Armies carrying) black flags will come from Khurasan (Iran). No power will be able to stop them and they will finally reach Eela (Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem) where they will erect their flags. - Sunan Al-Tirmidhi ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunan_al-Tirmidhi [Also see here http://www.al-islam.org/tahrif/cityofknowledge/index.htm ]

Commenting on this particular tradition, Egyptian authors Muhammad ibn Izzat and Muhammd 'Arif comment:

The Mahdi will be victorious and eradicate those pigs and dogs. ... Jerusalem will be the location of the rightly guided caliphate and the center of Islamic rule, which will be headed by Imam al-Mahdi. ... That will abolish the leadership of the Jews.

As a Christian theologian who is well-versed in these matters, I expressed the reasons for my caution to the Sanhedrin rabbis. But in the end, while all three Abrahamic religions do share many common beliefs and characteristics, many differences remain. While the prophecies of the Bible and the dark nature of some of the Islamic traditions cause me deep unease, from an Orthodox Jewish perspective, my apprehension is entirely unnecessary.

Says Rabbi Abrahamson, "There is a Jewish teaching, referring to the destruction of the Temple in 70 A.D. that says, 'Had the nations of the world known how much they benefit and are blessed by the Holy Temple they would have surrounded it with legions of armies to protect it from any harm.'"

Jewish Sanhedrin rabbis unite with Turk on common cause

WORLDNETDAILY - August 5, 2009

With the Middle East still in chaos and rumors of war in the air, the idea of rebuilding the Jerusalem Temple on a foundation occupied and administered by Islamic militants might seem fanciful - even preposterous.

But the author of a new book, "The Islamic Antichrist: The Shocking Truth About the Real Nature of the Beast," returned from Turkey recently with news that a prominent Islamic teacher and best-selling author and Jewish Sanhedrin rabbis are conspiring to do just that. ...

Richardson sees such plans tying in to Barack Obama's calls for internationalizing the city of Jerusalem.

A recent poll showed nearly two-thirds of Israelis back the idea of rebuilding the Temple. ...

"The suggestion of rebuilding the Jewish Temple is deeply significant to Christians, particularly those who are students of Bible prophecy," explains Richardson. "According to the Bible, an impostor messiah known as the Antichrist will someday invade the land of Israel and 'set himself up' in the 'God's Temple.'"

Richardson's book focuses on the striking parallels between the Bible's prophecies about the coming messiah and Islam's traditions regarding the one called "the Mahdi" - Islam's primary messiah figure, who will one day invade the land of Israel and establish his seat of authority on the Temple Mount.

Richardson's book stands in stark contrast to most other popular prophecy books of the last 40 years.

The student of Islam and the Middle East says that after decades of reading popular prophecy books and even best-selling fiction like the "Left Behind" series, millions of evangelical Christians around the world are expecting the Antichrist to emerge from a revived Roman Empire, which many have assumed is associated with the Roman Catholic Church and the European Union.

Not so, argues Richardson. His book makes the case that the biblical Antichrist is one and the same as the Quran's Muslim Mahdi.

"The Islamic Antichrist" is almost certain to be greeted in the Muslim world with the same enthusiasm as Salman Rushdie's "The Satanic Verses." The author, Joel Richardson, is prepared. He has written the book under a pseudonym to protect himself and his family.

"The Bible abounds with proofs that the Antichrist's empire will consist only of nations that are, today, Islamic," says Richardson. "Despite the numerous prevailing arguments for the emergence of a revived European Roman empire as the Antichrist's power base, the specific nations the Bible identifies as comprising his empire are today all Muslim."

Richardson believes the key error of many previous prophecy scholars involves the misinterpretation of a prediction by Daniel to Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar. Daniel describes the rise and fall of empires of the future, leading to the endtimes. Western Christians have viewed one of those empires as Rome, when, claims Richardson, Rome never actually conquered Babylon and was thus disqualified as a possibility.

It had to be another empire that rose and fell and rose again that would lead to the rule by this "man of sin," described in the Bible. That empire, he says, is the Islamic Empire, which did conquer Babylon and, in fact, rules over it even today.

Many evangelical Christians believe the Bible predicts a charismatic ruler, the Antichrist, will arise in the last days, before the return of Jesus. The Quran also predicts that a man, called the Mahdi, will rise up to lead the nations, pledging to usher in an era of peace. Richardson makes the case these two men are, in fact, one in the same.

His book was an instant best-seller on the Amazon charts when it debuted Tuesday. It remains No. 1 in two religion categories.

Richardson is the co-author with Walid Shoebat of "God's War on Terror: Islam, Prophecy and the Bible" and co-editor of "Why We Left Islam: Former Muslims Speak Out." "The Islamic Antichrist" is published by WND Books and is available autographed in the WND Superstore.

From June 30 - July 3, 2009, representatives of the Jerusalem Court for Bnei Noah met with Mr. Adnan Oktar, also known as Harun Yahya. Two statements were prepared, one from the Jerusalem Court, one from Mr. Oktar

1) We have come here, at the gracious invitation of Mr. Adnan Oktar, otherwise known as Harun Yahya, to look for leadership in the Islamic community. Over the centuries there have rarely been sincere leaders who fought for truth and understanding and against corruption and disbelief. We have heard that Harun Yahya is leading an intellectual struggle against atheist ideologies to increase belief and end corruption and atheism in the world. We understand that together we are looking forward to the fulfillment of the prophecy of Zephania:

For then will I turn clear language to the Nations, that they may all call upon the name of G-d, to serve Him shoulder to shoulder.[1]

We understand that Harun Yahya, as we also, looks forward to the time when the Children of Israel become more devout, worshiping as G-d commanded, in the land G-d commanded. "Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto G-d, as in the days of old, and as in ancient years."[2]

Our common agenda is clear: we live in a time of conflict, atheism, extreme fanaticism and extreme laxity. Righteous Jews and non-Jews must oppose this decline. It is the obligation of each and every individual to follow the commandments of G-d, sincerely and with perfect faith. Conflict and atheism are best addressed by leadership. From time to time G-d chooses leaders, and we look to these leaders to shepherd their people, to return them to the covenant G-d has made with all mankind.

Almost two thirds of Israelis, including half of seculars would like to see Temple rebuilt, believe it is important to commemorate Tisha B'Av

YEDIOTH AHRONOTH [Yedioth Ahronoth Group - Private] - July 30, 2009

About two thirds of the public want the Temple rebuilt, including about half of secular Israelis, a new survey conducted for Ynet and the Gesher organization revealed.

The survey was held by the Panels Institute among 516 respondents that are a representative sample of the adult Jewish population. The margin of error was 4.3%.

Initially, the respondents were asked what happened on Tisha B'Av (Ninth of Av), and showed impressive knowledge. Ninety-seven percent responded that the Temple was destroyed, while only 2% said they did not know.

The second question was whether respondents wanted to see the Temple rebuilt. Sixty-four percent responded favorably, while 36% said no. An analysis of the answers showed that not only the ultra-Orthodox and the religious look forward to the rebuilding of the Temple (100% and 97% respectively), but also the traditional public (91%) and many seculars - 47%.

When asked whether it was at all justified to mark something that had happened 2,000 years ago, 80% said that it was, while 13% said only events related to the State of Israel should be commemorated.

Another 7% categorically replied with a "no."

Here too an analysis of the answers revealed that the positions on Tisha B'Av transcended religious divisions - 74% of seculars and 100% of ultra-Orthodox responded that dates like Tisha B'Av should be commemorated.

Gesher Director General Rabbi Danny Tropper told Ynet in response to the survey results: "We are a nation with a remarkable historic affinity. The Temple was destroyed 1,942 years ago, and almost two thirds of the population want to see it rebuilt, including 47% of seculars.

"I don't think this is a practical proposal, but it seems that Tisha B'Av really does constitute a day of meaningful memory to most of the people."

Obama: Foreshadowing of the Antichrist?

Massive wealth redistribution will be economic policy of the Beast

WORLDNETDAILY - August 4, 2009

Under the guise of "fairness" and "equity," Americans are getting their share of government-coerced wealth redistribution under the leadership of Barack Obama and the Democratic Congress, but it's only a foreshadowing of what the whole world will witness under the rule of a coming world leader known as "the Beast," says the author of a controversial new book, "The Islamic Antichrist."

Author Joel Richardson is quick to point out he does not believe Obama is that future global leader - one many evangelical Christians hold will be satanically inspired. But his messianic appeal and some of his policies do foreshadow the dreaded "man of sin," says Richardson.

"Obama's populist message, his appeal to class envy and his overt move toward wealth redistribution find some very clear and dark echoes in the pages of the Bible," he explains.
Richardson says the Book of Daniel reveals the Antichrist will invade the wealthy nation of Israel specifically to plunder and gain control of its commodities and wealth.

"But what is so interesting is the Bible tells us his reason for seizing this wealth is to give it away to his followers," says the author. "While slightly more violent than Obama's tax plan, it is no less populist in its methodology of radical wealth redistribution."

In "The Islamic Antichrist," Richardson, a student of Islam, exposes Western Christians to the Muslim traditions. He says most Christians have no idea of the stunning similarities between biblical Antichrist and the "Islamic Mahdi."

"According to Islamic tradition, under the reign of the Mahdi, the Islamic religious community will be so blessed, so wealthy, that anyone who asks from the Mahdi for anything, it will be granted," he writes. ...

Author: Euro-centric prophecy scholars looking to Rome all wrong

WORLDNETDAILY - August 3, 2009

After decades of reading popular prophecy books and even best-selling fiction like the "Left Behind" series, millions of evangelical Christians around the world are dreading the day when a beastly figure known as the Antichrist emerges as a global political and religious dictator.

Most expect him to come from a revived Roman Empire, which many have assumed is associated with the Roman Catholic Church and the European Union.

Not so, argues a controversial new book that makes the case that the biblical Antichrist is one and the same as the Quran's Muslim Mahdi.

Meet "The Islamic Antichrist," a book almost certain to be greeted in the Muslim world with the same enthusiasm as Salman Rushdie's "The Satanic Verses." The author, Joel Richardson, is prepared. He has written the book under a pseudonym to protect himself and his family.

"The Bible abounds with proofs that the Antichrist's empire will consist only of nations that are, today, Islamic," says Richardson. "Despite the numerous prevailing arguments for the emergence of a revived European Roman empire as the Antichrist's power base, the specific nations the Bible identifies as comprising his empire are today all Muslim." ...

Monday, November 30, 2009 Israel Today Staff

According to a centuries-old rabbinical prophecy that appears to be coming true, on March 16, 2010, Israel will begin construction of the Third Temple in Jerusalem.

During the 18th century, the Vilna Gaon, a respected rabbinical authority, prophesied that the Hurva Synagoge in Jerusalem, which was built during his day, would be destroyed and rebuilt twice, and that when the Hurva was completed for the third time, construction on the Third Temple would begin.

The Hurva Synagogue was first destroyed shortly after its initial construction when Muslims demanding the return of loans tore it down. The synagogue was rebuilt a hundred years later and became the most important Jewish house of worship in the Holy Land, only be blown to pieces by Jordanian troops during Israel's 1948 War of Independence.

In 2001, Israel finally decided to rebuild the landmark, which today stands in the center of the Jewish Quarter in Jerusalem's Old City. The building is scheduled to be completed and the Hurva Synagogue dedicated for the third time on March 15 of next year.

The Old City of Jerusalem seen from the Jewish Quarter with a view of the Al-Aqsa Mosque on 10 April 2009 [MaanImages/Mimmi Nietula]Jerusalem – Ma'an – Supreme Judge Sheikh Tayseer Tamimi said Monday that Israeli institutions, settler groups and the government are working to fulfill 18th century Rabbi Vilna Goan's prophecy declaring that the Third Temple would be re-built by 16 March 2010.

He said archeological excavations have caused structural damage to the Al-Marwani Mosque, under the Al-Aqsa Mosque's northern walls, and to Palestinian homes in the Old City of Jerusalem.

The sheikh further alleged that a plan had been implemented in 1993 to intensify efforts to "Judaize" Jerusalem by establishing two major settlements around the city and a military brigade dedicated to closing off the city and separating it from its surrounding neighborhoods.

Tamimi said the plan included the shutting down of Palestinian institutions in Jerusalem, the expulsion of dignitaries and the revoking of Israeli ID cards of Jerusalem residents in Beit Hanina, Shu'fat, El-Essawiya, At-Tour and Silwan.

Additionally, a network of tunnels would be constructed to connect settlers to the Old City, he claimed.

By the end of this process, some 36,000 Palestinians living in the Old City will be displaced, Tamimi said, calling on conveners of the Arab League Summit in Libya next month to create a plan to "save Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque."

(IsraelNN.com) Rabbi Shlomo Riskin appeared so elated it seemed as if he would jump from his stationary standing position and sing praise to the Almighty right then and there. And all for the seemingly simple act of being fitted by a... tailor.

Yet, the "tailor" wasn't just any tailor, but Rabbi Yisrael Ariel of the Temple Institute in Jerusalem. Rabbi Ariel and his colleagues carefully took the measurements of Rabbi Riskin and several other rabbis, all kohanim, to eventually outfit them with the priestly garments according to the exact specifications in the Torah.

Yehuda Glick, the Temple Institute's Director, beamed, "Today, in this room, kohanim are being measured for the first time in 2,000 years for the type of garments they will be wearing in a rebuilt Temple."

The Third Temple of the Third Jewish Commonwealth.

This was the latest endeavor that the rabbis and yeshiva students of the Temple Institute have been working towards for years. Not if, but when (as they delight in proclaiming) THE THIRD TEMPLE IS FINALLY DEDICATED AND CONSTRUCTION HAS BEGUN, they'll be ready to supervise the holy project down to every possible specification spelled out in the Torah. And they're quite serious about it. If tomorrow the Temple should suddenly appear by Divine intervention, they'll be ready to head in and begin their work. They've been ready for years. They've devoted their lives to creating the Third Temple.

In the meantime they'll make all the necessary preparations, even to the point of taking clothing measurements of distinguished rabbis chosen from among the kohanim, so that when the day finally arrives they'll have the proper priestly attire to move into the Temple and initiate the rituals described in the Bible.

It's easy to dismiss such rabbis as merely tilting at windmills, preparing for a distant time when there might be a Third Temple. To the student of history, or perhaps even to the chosen rabbis themselves, the physical reality of the Third Temple may seem distant, but it still appears a lot closer than it was a hundred years ago.

A century ago there was no State of Israel. It was only a dream. The Jewish presence in the land was minimal, the country was desolate, the inhabitants hostile. And yet a small group of idealists decided to begin working towards the goal of a Jewish return and Jewish statehood at a time when few thought it was possible.

"If you will it, it is no dream."

Theodor Herzl internalized that ethos, then devoted his life to seeing it through. Everything he did towards the goal of creating a Jewish state, however small, insignificant or even utterly ridiculous it appeared at the time, ultimately mattered in the end. Herzl and his followers created what others had for centuries deemed impossible, a Jewish state in the ancient Jewish homeland. They weren't satisfied with simply waiting and praying and hoping, they worked and prepared for the Jewish state that they knew they could create.

"The Maccabeans will rise again," declared Herzl in the last paragraph of his book The Jewish State. He didn't speculate or theorize. He used the phrase "will rise again" as a point of fact.

And so it was.

Yet, in retrospect, there were very few in the early 20th Century who would have seriously thought that a powerful affluent Jewish state, feared and respected by its neighbors, would become a reality in the decades to come. But Herzl believed it. He predicted it. He willed it.

"In fifty years time everyone will know it," said Herzl of the future Jewish state.

And now we have rabbis and yeshiva devotees working diligently to prepare for the rebuilding of the Third Temple. They see time as a sequence of events on their side - the Jews return to the Promised Land, the Jewish state is reborn; surrounding hostile nations try to destroy Israel, the Jewish people reclaim Jerusalem and the Temple Mount. Those are the obvious events. Less obvious are the more subtle realities that add up - the rebuilding of the Jewish Quarter; Jews steadily moving into the Old City; even the Temple Mount tunnel excavations.

But alas, those big mosques are still situated on the Temple Mount. For now.

So in the meantime, they pray and wait - and prepare for that inevitable day when the Third Temple will be rebuilt. They know. They've learned from history.

If you will it, it is no dream.

A STORY HAS BEEN CIRCULATING RECENTLY concerning the prophesied commencement of construction on the Holy Temple on March 16th, 2010. It would appear that the current interest began when a certain Israeli daily newspaper published a story claiming that the celebrated Rabbi of Vilna, Eliyahu ben Shlomo, known to this day as the Vilna Gaon, (The genius of Vilna), or by his acronym, the Gra, who lived over 200 years ago, (1720-1797), purportedly declared that the beginning of the redemptive process would commence upon the completion of the rebuilding of the Churva synagogue in Israel. The current excitement has to do with the fact that the Churva synagogue is being rebuilt at this moment and March 15th is scheduled to be the day of its rededication.

The essence of this story is very beautiful, and most beautiful is the tremendous anticipation it has been generating.

BY MORPHING TWO DIFFERENT historical happenings into one, the story making the rounds today is one of prophecy, vision, calculating the precise dates of the redemption, and a strong dose of Divine determinism. After all, if March 16th is the projected date, then where is our input? Suppose we want to build the Holy Temple today? And we should so desire, of course, for G-d said, "Build Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them." (Exodus 25:8) Build Me - today, not necessarily on March 16th, 2010.

AS EXCITING AS THIS STORY IS, the true story, from which the current version has taken certain poetic license, is even more exciting. The Gra was very proactive, and he believed that the long awaited redemption depended upon positive steps being taken. He encouraged his disciples to pack up their belongings and move to the land of Israel. This they did, one hundred years before the advent of modern Zionism, and a number of them settled in Jerusalem. Basing himself on the Gra's mystical teachings, his most accomplished student, and leader of the Jerusalem community, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Mishklov, was of the conviction that the completion of a certain Jerusalem synagogue, known as the Churva, was an essential roadmark on the path toward redemption. Now at the time the holy land was under the authority of the Ottoman empire, and so when the followers of the Gra took upon themselves to complete the construction of the unfinished Churva synagogue, they needed first to be granted permission to do so by the Ottoman authorities. After twenty years of effort, in 1836 they were finally given the long sought go ahead. They began the rebuilding embued with the sense that the redemption was truly under way. A number of traditional observations marking the destruction of the Holy Temple were dropped from their daily and Shabbat liturgy, as they moved forward with the construction of the synagogue. In addition to resettling the land, and rebuilding the Churva synagogue, the community of the Gra's followers in Israel made tremendous efforts to reconvene the Sanhedrin, but in this they did not succeed.

The construction of the Churva synagogue was originally begun in 1700 under the auspices of Yehuda heHassid, who had relocated with his follower from Poland to Jerusalem. The construction ceased upon his death. An ensuing lack of funds prevented the completion of the synagogue, until the effort was taken up by the follower of the Gra, in 1836. The "official" title of the synagogue remains to this day, the Yehuda heHassid Synagogue. The appelation, Churva, which means "a ruin," was given to it in commemoration of the Holy Temple.

THE SYNAGOGUE WAS COMPLETED IN 1856, and was one of Jerusalem's largest structures at the time. Less than one hundred years later, in 1948, during Israel's war of independence, the Jordanian Arab Legion, which occupied Jerusalem's walled city, razed the synagogue to the ground. When Israel liberated the eastern sector of Jerusalem in 1967, which included the old walled city and the Temple Mount, the Churva synagogue was a pile of rubble. Over forty years passed before the rebuilding of the synagogue commenced in 2003. Now, as completion of the synagogue nears, and a rededication ceremony has been set for March 15th, the original enthusiasm of the followers of the Gra from 1936 has been rekindled. Today, however, the enthusiasm has spread from beyond the wall of Jerusalem, and can be felt around the world.

HAVING EXAMINED THE HISTORY of the Churva synagogue, and the source of today's current excitement, it can be stated that heart of the matter is not a prophetic prediction of a precise building-of-the-Temple date, but something, in fact, much more compelling: The taking upon itself by the nation of Israel the performance of prophetic action. The return to Israel and the rebuilding of Jerusalem are precursors to the great event of the rebuilding of the Holy Temple. Israel today, unlike two hundred years ago, has the means and the authority to do so. The realization of the necessity for the rebuilding of the Holy Temple and the renewal of the Divine service for the spiritual revival and redemption of all humanity, is growing day by day. Both inside Israel and abroad, the longing for the Holy Temple is becoming a powerful voice for change. May it be G-d's will that we soon begin the rebuilding of the Holy Temple, if not before the 16th of March, then not a day later!

Issue 12.04 | April 2004
By Joshua Davis

Yitzhaq Hayutman holds the key to peace on Earth - it's on a floppy disk in his pants pocket. With his full white beard, bald pate, and well-pressed khakis, the 61-year-old Israeli cybernetics expert and tech investor looks like Moses done over for a Banana Republic ad. Right now, he's showing me how he wants to position an airborne hologram over the Dome of the Rock, a gold-capped shrine that's one of the most holy sites in Islam. "The blimp will go there," Hayutman says pointing into the blue. "And eventually the Messiah will come."

Hayutman is excited by the prospect - perhaps too excited. Twenty yards away, two flak-jacketed Israeli police officers finger their machine guns while four plainclothes members of the Islamic Trust - the Muslim force that protects Islam's holy sites - move cautiously toward us. Violence has a habit of erupting here on the Temple Mount, the world's most explosive plot of land.

Let there be light: The site is the sky above the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem. The project includes a laser-projected temple. The goal: to summon the Messiah.

For 1,500 years, Jews, Christians, and Muslims have fought for control of this 35-acre plateau in the heart of Jerusalem. The dispute remains one of the main obstacles to peace in the Middle East. Jewish teachings say that a temple must be built here - many say on the exact spot where the Dome now stands - in order to induce the arrival of the Messiah and the coming of peace on Earth. Fundamentalist Christians interpret this to mean the Second Coming of Christ and actively encourage Jewish building efforts. Muslims categorically oppose any encroachment on their holy site, from which they believe Mohammed ascended to heaven to receive the Koran.

All sides acknowledge that tensions on the hill have the potential to start a war, but Hayutman believes he has found a way to resolve the intractable conflict. "What most people see is that if the Muslims are here, surely there is no temple," Hayutman says. "They do not understand that technology has given us the tools to realize the prophecy right now."

He has two big ideas, two ways to engineer the apocalypse. The first: a hovering holographic temple. Hayutman wants to set up an array of high-powered, water-cooled lasers and fire them into a transparent cube suspended beneath a blimp. The ephemeral, flickering image, he says, would fulfill an ancient, widely revered Jewish prophecy that the temple will descend from the heavens as a manifestation of light. Hayutman hopes to finance the project with some of the proceeds from a $20 million patent-infringement suit he and his partners have filed against Palm.

The rest of that money would be poured into Hayutman's second idea for jump-starting the end-times: a virtual temple within a massively multiplayer online role-playing game. The goal is for thousands of people to join in its construction on the Web. Hayutman even wants to display progress reports in the floating hologram as a kind of apocalyptic scoreboard.

Whether it's a hologram or a cyberstructure, Hayutman believes that a techno temple does away with the need for a physical building. Under his scheme, Jews and Christians would get a biblically accurate temple without razing the Dome of the Rock. A descrïption of his plans is on the floppy disk in his pocket, which he says he will give to me when we leave the Mount.

It may sound crazy, but every other effort at peace has failed, and partisans on all sides are surprisingly open to Hayutman's proposals. People in the Middle East are used to radicals who carry guns and explosives. Hayutman is a radical who envisions a peaceful, technological advent to the end of the world. For him, the Bible is a Read Me file for Earth 2.0. Some think he's out of his mind, but in a region where extremists often set the agenda, Hayutman is preparing to click the Install button.

The future Temple which we are expecting, is built and perfected and will be revealed and descend from heaven. - Talmudic scholar Rashi, 11th century

The first storm of the season has washed boulders and banks of sand onto the narrow road skirting the edge of the Dead Sea. A flash flood courses over the pavement, but Hayutman seems unconcerned.
We are going to meet Ohad Ezrahi, a onetime ultraorthodox rabbi who exiled himself to the desert after falling out with the small right-wing settlement where he lived. Until 1998, Hayutman and Ezrahi had been developing a forerunner to Hayutman's videogame with financing from the Jewish Agency for Israel, a foundation established to encourage, among other things, tech innovation. Hayutman invested $30,000 of his own money, but the duo halted work when they realized they didn't have the resources to code an animation engine. Now Hayutman has arranged a meeting with one of the largest technology companies in Israel and needs to upload stills from the sole copy of the game, which Ezrahi has.

The problem is, a river has swallowed the road. When it starts raining in Israel, most people avoid the desert for fear of floods like this. But Hayutman revs the engine of his Daihatsu mini-SUV and launches us into the torrent. A wide arc of water splashes out on either side. We lurch over unseen obstacles, verge on a rollover, and emerge on the other side.

Hayutman's faith in himself is a little disconcerting, at times annoying, and even terrifying. He talks about flash floods and God for hours without pause while we drive and doesn't notice when I doze off. When I wake up, he's still talking. "God has given me a mission," Hayutman says, speaking in a thoughtful, accented English as rain pounds the windshield. "I am here to show that the temple can be rebuilt peacefully and in such a way that it will bring the beginning of a new age."

What's fascinating about his vision of the apocalypse is that it's not the bloodbath that fundamentalist Christians imagine. It is the end of the current world - with all its inequity and injustice - and the beginning of a new, perfect Earth ruled by the Messiah. The trigger will be a peaceful, technology-fueled spiritual revolution. A velvet apocalypse.

Hayutman has pursued this theme his entire life. Born into a wealthy family, he inherited a small fortune in real estate - his grandfather was one of the founders of Tel Aviv. It has been his family's mission to build cities in new ways. And what could be a better life goal than designing the ultimate building - the structure that will trigger the redemption of the world? "I have always thought of myself as God's architect," he says matter-of-factly.

To prepare for the position, Hayutman traveled to the US in 1967 and earned a bachelor's in architecture from UC Berkeley. Later he moved to London to study design with Gordon Pask, a founder of the field of cybernetics, the creation of lifelike processes in machines. When Hayutman joined Pask's lab in the mid-1970s, they began exploring the relationship between computers and architecture. Both felt that there was a new type of structure to explore: buildings erected in cyberspace.

I've always thought of myself as God's architect, Hayutman says.

Back then, technology limited Hayutman to designing simple interfaces. But he still thought of it as work on the temple. His PhD dissertation in cybernetics described how a virtual Temple Mount could create common ground for Jews and Arabs to interact in ways they otherwise never would.

The rain lets up enough to reveal the barren mountains that ring the Dead Sea. This was where Satan tempted Jesus and where Jewish rebels committed mass suicide four years after the destruction of the last temple in AD 70. It's a land that has always been fertile ground for extreme ideas, so it's fitting that Hayutman first envisioned assembling his holographic temple here.

He was inspired in part by a passage in the Midrash Rabbah, a collection of Torah analysis written more than 1,000 years ago, which says that the temple will descend fully built from heaven as a manifestation of light. It's a prophecy that many Jews have embraced because it suggests that only God can build the temple. But Hayutman found a loophole. He realized that another way to get a temple of light to descend from the heavens was to combine a blimp with hologram-producing lasers.

The structure would consist of a transparent polyurethane cube supported by a lightweight metal frame. An onboard fog machine would pump mist into the enclosure to serve as a screen for the lasers. The cube would then be fastened under a large tethered blimp and lifted into the sky. To make it descend, he would simply winch in the blimp's tether and re-aim the lasers.

In 1999, Hayutman took the concept to Joseph Bodenheimer, a laser expert and the president of the Jerusalem College of Technology. Bodenheimer's verdict: The plan's engineering and optics were feasible. But navigating the politics of the Holy Land was another matter. Hayutman would be contending with nearly 40 years of active struggle on the Mount.

That struggle began at the end of the Six-Day War in 1967, when Israel wrested control of eastern Jerusalem from Jordan. For the first time in nearly 2,000 years, the Temple Mount was in Jewish hands. For many Jews and Christians, this was an electrifying moment. The Israeli government finally had the chance to raze the Dome of the Rock and build the prophesied temple. But in a decision that pains fundamentalists to this day, then-defense minister Moshe Dayan returned day-to-day control of the Mount to the Islamic Trust.

The Israeli authorities argued that the southwestern end of the Mount's retaining wall - better known as the Wailing Wall - was a sufficient religious monument. For centuries, it had been the most holy site in Judaism because the 2,000-year-old weather-worn stones near the bottom were the last remnants of the old Mount sanctuary.

Hayutman can recite the history for hours, but he prefers to talk about the future. As early as the 1980s, he began meeting with Israeli officials to discuss the rebuilding of the temple. Jerusalem's city engineer told him that no plans would be considered on the Israeli side - to do so officially would be viewed as a provocation against Muslim autonomy on the Temple Mount and could spark an uprising. Before he could start talking about nonthreatening, technological solutions to the problem, the city engineer abruptly ended the meeting.

Hayutman is still fuming. "Politicians don't want to address the Temple Mount as a religious problem," he says, slowing for a security checkpoint manned by three well-armed Israeli soldiers. "They think Jews and Arabs should just get rid of their 'idiotic' religions and then everything will be OK. But the whole reason we are here is because of religion. And if you just divide the land, you end up with a situation similar to India and Pakistan - always teetering on the edge of war."

Then Solomon said,

"The Lord has said that he would dwell in a dark cloud; I have indeed built a magnificent temple for you, a place for you to dwell forever."
- I Kings 8:12-13

We reach the top of a bluff and see Ohad Ezrahi's compound - a half-dozen decrepit trailers parked near the edge of a cliff. When he was ostracized from the orthodoxy, the rabbi started his own community here, where he now lives with 20 followers. He stays in touch with the outside world in part through his dust-covered Compaq PC, which is where the game prototype is stored.

Despite his foot-long beard, Ezrahi looks surprisingly young when he opens the door. Pushing back his wiry frizz of brown hair, he invites us into his living room. It's not much more than four shoddy trailer-home walls and a shelf lined with more than a hundred books. Most are devoted to the kabbalah, the secretive offshoot of Jewish mysticism traditionally taught only to the most advanced students of the Torah.

As Ezrahi and Hayutman developed the game, some of that kabbalism seeped in. It's still there, in dozens of esoteric riddles and puzzles. But the Jerusalem Games System, as Hayutman now calls his project, has evolved into a cross between Myst and Doom set within the walls of old Jerusalem. Players navigate the narrow streets and bustling marketplaces trying to uncover and decipher Christian, Jewish, and Muslim scrïptural clues relating to the end-times. They can choose to kill each other, but they won't be able to move to the next level if they do. The goal is to unlock the secret that will induce the coming of a messiah - whether players believe he will turn out to be the Christian Jesus, the Jewish Moshiach, or the Muslim Mahdi.

It's possible, according to Hayutman, that the game itself may be the realization of prophecy. "The Book of Revelations describes a New Jerusalem which will encompass the entire Earth," he says, citing Revelation 21. "The online, worldwide virtual reality version of Jerusalem is the only thing that could fulfill that requirement. The digital version of the city would exist in Germany or Indonesia at the same time it exists in Jerusalem itself."

Ezrahi launches into a tirade about the Windows operating system and the problems he encountered working with Windows 95 while developing the videogame with Hayutman. One of his tasks was to come up with the look and feel. It turns out that in addition to being a neo-Hasidic kabbalistic rabbi, he's a graphic designer. "I've designed children's books, corporate sales videos, software animations," he says. "But designing this game was a lot more fun. We were going to hook players up to biofeedback sensors and throw demons at them if they got angry."

Hayutman digs through his pocket, fishes out a USB key drive and hands it to Ezrahi, who boots up his computer and copies still images of the game demo onto it. Hayutman needs these for his pitch meeting with Yossi Tsuria, the executive vice president of NDS, a News Corp. company that enables the delivery of movies and TV shows to 34 million cable and satellite subscribers around the world. The Jerusalem-based R&D arm of the company is developing a platform for multiplayer gaming, and Tsuria is interested in the Jerusalem Games System.

"Tsuria?" Ezrahi asks. "Isn't he one of those who tried to blow up the Dome of the Rock back in the '80s?"

All the surrounding area on top of the mountain will be most holy. Such is the law of the temple.
- Ezekiel 43:12
Standing in his modest, unadorned office on the northern edge of Jerusalem, Yossi Tsuria looks like the prototypical Silicon Valley software executive, complete with khakis, a loose-fitting dress shirt, and a short, unkempt schoolboy haircut. He's in charge of strategy and technology for a company that grossed nearly $450 million in its last fiscal year. You'd never suspect that in his younger days he was part of one of the most ambitious plots to destroy the Dome of the Rock.

Tsuria's story sounds like the plot of a straight-to-video movie. In the early 1980s, he joined a group of 26 other well-educated, politically connected young Israeli men who decided to instigate the rebuilding of the temple by blowing up the Dome. They loaded a jeep full of stolen explosives from the Israeli army, manufactured their own bombs, and drew up a scheme to strap 28 charges to the Dome's pillars. They planned meticulously, estimating the amount of time it would take to scale the walls of the Temple Mount and predicting the direction of the mosque's collapse.

But they didn't anticipate that the Shin Bet, Israel's FBI, would unravel the conspiracy before it was put into action. The plotters were rounded up and became infamous overnight, making the front page of newspapers worldwide. Tsuria quickly pleaded guilty and spent almost two years in jail. "I was young and stupid," he says now, visibly uncomfortable talking about the subject. The jail time and the introspection that came with it fostered a distaste for all things radical.

Nevertheless, he greets Hayutman warmly. The two men sit at a table wedged into a corner of the office, and Tsuria explains that NDS is moving into new kinds of interactive television. That's Hayutman's cue to launch into a pitch for the Jerusalem Games System and the realization of the temple. "The assumption of the game," he begins, "is that the Temple Mount is central to the destiny of the planet."

Tsuria looks unfazed by this pronouncement, and Hayutman continues with increased enthusiasm. "Playing a game centered around the Mount has implications for the whole world," he says. "It's infinitely more meaningful than playing Space Raiders or Montezuma's Return." This is an opportunity to create a game that will fulfill prophecy. How many cable companies get a chance like that?

Tsuria seems interested. He peppers Hayutman with practical questions. What language will it be in? How will Muslims be included in the development process so that it accurately represents their views? How will Hayutman portray God without offending Jewish or Muslim prohibitions against iconography? When confronted with such direct questions, Hayutman tends to retreat into vague, even unintelligible babble. That's his tactic now, as he launches into a speech about "interactive psychological and social systems." Tsuria nods, interested but cautious. It's understood that he'll need to see a fully functioning prototype before he will consider presenting it officially to anyone at NDS.

"Do you have the money to build a prototype?" Tsuria asks.

Not yet. Hayutman is counting on his patent-infringement lawsuit against Palm. In 1994, a couple of Israeli inventors - Mike Kagan and Ian Solomon - approached him with the idea for building cheap, wirelessly connected game consoles. Hayutman signed on as an angel investor. He saw an opportunity to open a channel of communication between Muslims and Jews. He immediately grasped that a mobile technology allowing people in different locations to play games together would help bring his Jerusalem Games System to fruition. The game, after all, was all about real people interacting in a computer-simulated world.

He invested $16,000, and by 1995 the inventors had filed to protect their ideas with the US Patent and Trademark Office. (A patent was issued in 1997.) As proof of principle, they produced two consoles that allowed players to compete in a wirelessly networked version of Pac-Man.

But nobody bought the concept, in part because handheld and wireless devices were still in their infancy. Hayutman and his partners contend that they came up with the idea and should therefore receive a royalty on what has become a commonplace device. The group filed a $20 million lawsuit last March against Palm. Early settlement talks broke down, and the case is due to be heard in Delaware's US District Court in June.

Because he recently lost almost $700,000 in a disastrous medical technology investment, Hayutman is hoping the suit will replenish his bank account. His lawyers have told him to expect about 16 percent of the proceeds from the lawsuit, and he plans to funnel most of it into his temple plans. "If I hadn't gotten seduced by biotech, I could have had a prototype of the game by now," he says ruefully.

If the lawsuit succeeds and Hayutman receives his sought-after settlement, there are still larger hurdles to overcome. For instance, even if he can afford to build his blimp-borne hologram, would the Islamic Trust allow it anywhere near the Dome of the Rock?

The answer, surprisingly, is yes.

Glorified be He Who carried His servant by night from the Inviolable Place of Worship to the Far distant place of worship the neighbourhood whereof We have blessed, that We might show him of Our tokens!
- Koran, 017.001

The councillors of the Islamic Trust meet in a domed room built into the wall that surrounds the Temple Mount. The room's large window frames the Dome of the Rock. As the sun sets, the light reflected off the shrine illuminates the wrinkled face of Mohammed Hussein, an imam of the Noble Sanctuary.

Wearing the robes and white headdress of a Muslim cleric, the imam sits silently behind a large, cheap-looking desk. Seated to his left is Adnan Husseini, the Islamic Trust director. Four plainclothes guards stand outside the 18-foot-tall door to the room.

Husseini has agreed to see me on the spur of the moment - he seems intrigued by the appearance of a technology reporter in the Islamic Trust's inner sanctum. "With the imam's permission," Husseini says, casting a glance at him, "you may address me."

The imam raises his hand in approval. I start by asking Husseini if he's familiar with Hayutman's idea of projecting a holographic temple over the Dome of the Rock. "We have heard of this man's projections of light," he responds, speaking slowly and cautiously. "And we will allow it to happen here - when there is a peace settlement."

For a second, I don't know what to say. It seems stunning that the Islamic Trust would even consider allowing a Jewish temple to float above their holy shrine. Perhaps Husseini believes peace will never come. But if so, why not just dismiss Hayutman's idea outright?

When asked if the Islamic Trust would endorse the creation of the Jerusalem Games System, Husseini says he has neither heard of it nor is he familiar with the concept of virtual reality. The aging imam, however, knows all about VR and explains it in Arabic to Husseini, who concludes that Palestinians are focused more on basics like food and shelter than luxuries like videogames.

I leave the Temple Mount wondering if that is true and soon find myself wandering the narrow Arab-quarter streets that run west and north of the Islamic Trust's headquarters. I find kids flocking to the gaming shops set up between spice merchants and butchers hawking skinned lambs. These narrow rooms are filled with teenage boys playing networked games like Counter-Strike and Midtown Madness.

Mohammed, the proprietor of the Ali Baba Internet Cafe, says Palestinians are more wired than most Arabs, and the statistics back him up. According to Abdul Kader Kamli of Madar Research, a Dubai-based company that compiles data on IT use in the Arab world, Palestinians post higher per capita tech usage than people in Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, or Syria, among others. "Palestinian kids are already playing games that help them rebel against the situation here," Mohammed says, citing Hezbollah's Special Force and Dar Al-Fikr's UnderAsh, two first-person shooters in which the targets are Israelis. "Why do we have these destructive games? Why not a constructive game of rebellion? As long as the action is good, the kids will play it."

You are to take some of its blood and put it on the four horns of the altar and on the four corners of the upper ledge and all around the rim, and so purify the altar and make atonement for it.
- Ezekiel 43:20

While in Jerusalem, I make a pilgrimage to the oracle. I ask, "How will World War III begin?" Google answers with a Web site that details the struggle over the Temple Mount. Before coming here, I'd read that the Mount was a "powder keg" and "ground zero for the apocalypse." The reality is that the fuse is already burning. Every day, Jewish zealots are praying for the destruction of the Dome of the Rock, and there are legions of Muslims ready to give their lives to avenge its desecration. And though violence is anathema to his vision, Hayutman likes watching the clock tick down, because he believes a climate of urgency is necessary before he can convince radicals on all sides that redemption is only a mouseclick away.

Jewish and Christian fundamentalists are intrigued by this new approach to prophecy. But because they read scrïpture literally, they have a lot of questions. "How will I perform an animal sacrifice if the temple is in a computer?" demands Amos Taieb, a 32-year-old member of the recently organized Temple Guard, a small group of primarily young Jewish men dedicated to rebuilding a physical temple as soon as possible. Taieb emphasizes that scrïpture clearly states that lambs must be sacrificed on the temple's altar.

Taieb staffs the Guard's center in the Jewish quarter of old Jerusalem. The small converted storefront on a cobblestoned alley features an impressive 1:100-scale wooden model of the temple. Taieb also has aerial photographs of the Temple Mount, on top of which he lays transparencies of his proposed temple footprint. He positions it so that the structure lies directly on top of the Dome of the Rock. What happens to the Dome? "You take the mosque and blow it away," he says calmly.

As for a holographic temple, Taieb cites the Midrash Rabbah prediction that the temple will come from the sky. This is a possibility, he allows, but there's still the matter of how to sacrifice animals. "Do you bring a lamb hologram into the sky as well?" he asks. "And how do you throw lamb blood on a holographic altar that is floating in the sky? It gets complicated."

Jan van der Hoeven also worries that a virtual temple creates some very real religious problems. Van der Hoeven - a founder of the International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem and currently the director of the International Christian Zionist Center - is a Dutch minister who moved to Jerusalem in 1968 and has been pushing the Jewish people to construct the temple ever since. He represents the desire of European and American fundamentalist Christians who believe that building the temple will trigger the return of Jesus Christ.

2000: Ariel Sharon visits Temple Mount, sparking second intifada. Hayutman proposes holographic temple.

His talk of an "army of Christians" ready to help Israel has resonated through to the highest levels of Israeli politics. As prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu had dinner at Van der Hoeven's home. Five of the last six prime ministers have spoken at the annual meeting of the International Christian Embassy and sought the kind of fundamentalist Christian support that Van der Hoeven can deliver. "Both the Old and the New Testaments say there is no possibility for Jesus to come except that there is a temple waiting for him," he says with uplifted eyebrows.

Van der Hoeven has spoken with Hayutman about the holographic temple and the Jerusalem Games System, and he cautiously supports the efforts. "The Jews have not come back from Auschwitz and 6 million dead to stand at a stupid piece of Wailing Wall," he adds. "Hayutman seems to realize that the Wall is not the climax of history."

Still, Van der Hoeven takes exception to Hayutman's designs for the temple. Like the Temple Guard, he wants the design to follow the dictates of Ezekiel, which are quite specific about the measurements of the structure. He, too, has a wooden scale model and proudly shows off pictures of it. "If it is true that the Third Temple will be the result of these holograms - fantastic," Van der Hoeven says with a sly grin. "But even if it is not, and the Islamic Trust will agree to it, it will set things in motion. The lie of Islam's exclusive claim to the Mount would be broken."

Van der Hoeven leans forward in his chair and sets down his teacup. "You see, you have to be very clever because the whole future of planet Earth and mankind will be fought here, over the Temple Mount."

Son of man, describe the temple to the people of Israel.
- Ezekiel 43:10

In October, Islamic Trust guards watched as Israeli police arrested Van der Hoeven for silently praying on the Temple Mount. The Dutch minister cursed the guards and denounced the police who booked him. When recounting the incident, his face tinges red and he spits his words. For the Islamic Trust, people like Van der Hoeven are easy to classify as extremists.

Hayutman is not. When we first set foot on the Temple Mount and he points to the sky above the Dome of the Rock to show me where the blimp will go, I can see the Islamic Trust guard trying to decide what type of radical he is. Their efforts are complicated by the glowing smile he displays when he sees them approaching. He wants to shake their hands and talk about how beautiful the Dome is in the afternoon light. He wants to find out what they think about the redemptive value of videogames and ask them about the sorts of symbols they would like to project over the Dome.

Before he has a chance to reach out and introduce himself, a group of 14 black-suited orthodox Jews enters the Mount through a nearby gate in the ancient wall. They shuffle in shoulder to shoulder like a chorus line, never allowing their backs to face the Dome, which marks for them the location of what was once the Holy of Holies - the temple's innermost sanctum.

It is a form of protest prayer that never fails to incite the Islamic Trust. The young protesters are essentially pretending that the Dome isn't there - they are imagining a future without this holy shrine. The Islamic Trust guards immediately forget about Hayutman and speed-walk toward the new visitors.

Hayutman and I quietly stroll off the Mount, and he hands me the floppy disk he has been carrying in his pocket. It contains a detailed descrïption of the Jerusalem Games System - a kind of cheat sheet for what Hayutman thinks of as the most important videogame anyone will ever play. His eyes gleam in the half-light of the ancient, arched passageway leading out of the Mount. "The technology is ready," he says. "The time has come to take action."

The following organizations are participating in the first annual International Temple Mount Awareness Day:

Israel: The Temple Institute, Organization for the Renewal of the Temple (ORT), Women in Green, Matot Arim, Manhigut Yehudit, The Nascent Sanhedrin, The Temple Mount Heritage Foundation, The Organization for Human Rights on Temple Mount, Radio Free Nachlaot, El Har Hashem - The Temple Mount Advocacy Council, Israel National Radio

International: World Committee for the Land of Israel, Jewish Activists Network, Bnai Elim, All4Israel, Americans for a Safe Israel (AFSI)

The Temple Mount is the holiest place in the world; yet Jews and all non-Moslems are denied the right to pray in groups, and even as individuals; this refusal is accompanied by their constant degradation, and they are granted no opportunity for any religious expression whatsoever on the Temple Mount.

Only Jews are forced to wait an extended period of time before being allowed through security.

Only Jews are forced to present their ID’s to the police.

Only Jews are followed and harassed by Israeli police and Muslim Wakf guards throughout the entire visit on the Mount.

Only Jews are arrested for crimes such as prayer, closing eyes, bowing down or singing.

The Prime Minister of Israel has failed to include the Temple Mount in his own "Heritage Plan," among those sites of historical, cultural and religious significance to the Jewish people, to receive enhanced government budgeting for the improvement of access, upkeep, and beautification of the sites.

The Mount has completely been abandoned to the Muslim Authorities and is used by Muslims for the following blasphemous activities:

Illegal digs causing unparalleled destruction of archeological evidence of the Holy Temple and the historical Jewish presence on the Mount.

Endless incitement against the Jewish State and Nation from within the Mosques.

Physical attacks against Jews on the Mount and down below at the Western Wall

In response to this we are calling on all groups to unite to begin fighting this ongoing travesty. We are calling for a day of action to be known as “International Temple Mount Awareness Day." We have no illusions and we fully understand that a long battle is still in front of us, but yet we must begin the work. We must bring the Temple Mount back into our national heart and mind and begin to restore it to its former glory. Yes, this will be a long difficult path, but so was our return to Zion after 2,000 years of exile. Our parents, grandparents and great-grandparents had their mission and we have ours.

We call on Jews to arrive at the Temple Mount Mugrabi Gate, on the morning of March 16th, after immersion in a kosher mikveh, in accordance with Torah law, in order to ascend the Temple Mount. Please arrive at the gate no later than 7:15 am and please come wearing non-leather shoes in accordance with Torah law. In addition a guide will be available at 6:15am in the Rova square to escort men to the Shuvu Banim Mikveh in the old city. Please be on time. Gentiles are likewise invited and encouraged to join us! (Questions concerning the aliya, please email: hatenua@gmail.com, rabbirichman@gmail.com)

We call on Jews and Gentiles around the world to make known their disatisfaction with the ongoing injustice to the Prime Minister of Israel, by telephone, by fax, and by email.

We call on Jews and Gentiles around the world to make March 16th, Rosh Chodesh Nisan, a day of solidarity with the Temple Mount and the prophetic vision of "a house of prayer for all nations."

We call on Jews and Gentiles around the world to mark March 16th, Rosh Chodesh Nisan, by assembling in prayer and discussion, spreading the word and raising awareness about the injustices being committed on the Temple Mount. We suggest holding prayer vigils outside Israeli Consulates and the Embassies.

Phone, Fax and email the Prime Minister of Israel's office:

Public opinion and action does matter! The effect of your message to the Prime Minister's office will be felt. On March 16th we will flood the Prime Minister's office with our messages.

Telephone number: 011-972-02-6705555

Fax number: 011-972-02-5664838

email address: bnetanyahu@knesset.gov.il

Please keep your message to the Prime Minister brief and respectful.

Below is a recommended email message:

Dear Prime Minister Netanyahu,

I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the Temple Mount. As you know, the Temple Mount is the holiest site in the world for the Jewish people, yet the Muslim authorities, aided by Israel Police, systematically deny the right of religious expression on the Mount to all non-Moslems. On numerous occasions the High Court of Justice has upheld the Jewish people’s right to pray at the site, yet the police continue to prevent this. Furthermore, Jewish visitors are harassed and degraded. This discrimination is a grave trampling of civil rights. Israeli law is not recognized by the Wakf authorities; illegal digging has destroyed priceless historical remnants of Jerusalem’s Jewish history.

Please, end this travesty and allow Jewish freedom of expression at the Temple Mount. I urge you include the Temple Mount in your “Heritage Plan” of sites significant to the Jewish people.

Why have we chosen Rosh Chodesh Nisan, the first day of the month of Nisan as International Temple Mount Awareness Day?

This day is the anniversary of the dedication of the Tabernacle.
This day is the first day of the Divine service.

This day is the day on which fire descended from Heaven onto the altar, and the first day in which the Shechina, the Divine Presence, rested in the Tabernacle.

Nisan is the month of Redemption, the month in which our forefathers were redeemed from Egyptian bondage. But the month is called so not only because of the upcoming Festival of Passover and our ancestors' passage from slavery to freedom. Tradition teaches that in the future, as well, the great and final redemption will take place in Nisan. Let us do our part to make it happen!

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad meeting with Lebanese Druze leader Walid Jumblatt in Damascus on Wednesday.

Last update - 11:28 01/04/2010

By Avi Issacharoff, Haaretz Correspondent and Reuters

Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah has accused Israel of plotting to destroy the Al-Aqsa mosque in the Old City of Jerusalem, in an interview with Al-Manar television on Wednesday.

The Hezbollah leader also said that is responsible for the blame put on Hezbollah for the death of former Lebanese prime minister Rafik al-Hariri,.

"Well known sources in Lebanon blamed Syria, as did Arab and international officials,' Nasrallah told Al-Manar, adding that "then Israeli officials and the Israeli media said that the Hezbollah is behind the assassination."

"The American Zionist lobby then came out and blamed the Hezbollah for the attacks in September 2000 [meaning 2001], and there were U.S. officials who blamed us for cooperating with al-Qaida," he added.

Nasrallah's comments come following a reconciliation meeting between Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and Lebanese Druze leader Walid Jumblatt, who had a falling out after the assassination of Hariri.

Assad met Jumblatt on Wednesday, the official Syrian news agency said, sealing a reconciliation with one of his fiercest former critics in Lebanon.

The two former rivals discussed the importance of resistance against Israel, referring to the Lebanese organization Hezbollah.

The meeting consolidates Syria's political gains in Lebanon as it restores influence lost when it withdrew troops from its neighbor five years ago under international pressure. It also opens channels with Lebanese politicians who have been firmly in the U.S.-backed camp.

"The meeting discussed the importance of role of the resistance as a guarantee against Israeli plans," the news agency said, in reference to Hezbollah, which mediated the meeting.

Jumblatt had turned fiercely anti-Syrian after the 2005 assassination of former Lebanese prime minister Rafik al-Hariri and criticized Assad as responsible for the killing.

But he has since said good ties with Syria were crucial to prevent Lebanon from descending into chaos and to preserve its Druze minority.

Syria denies any role in the Hariri killing, which is being
investigated by a special tribunal set up by the United Nations in 2006.

On Wednesday Lebanese Shi'te militant faction Hezbollah was preparing a public relations onslaught amid fears that investigators will accuse it of playing a role in the killing.

Hezbollah's leader Hassan Nasrallah was due night to give a rare television interview on Wednesday to the group satellite station Al-Manar, in which he is expected to deny any part in the murder.

Arab sources say that the possibility of Hezbollah's involvement has arisen with increasing frequency in talks with European officials over the past few months.

Hezbollah, which fought a month-long war with Israel in 2006, is seen across the Arab world as a resistance movement but is also a political party and holds two ministerial portfolios in the unity government of Said Hariri, son of the murdered premier.

Wiab Wahhab, a Lebanese minister, told a Kuwaiti newspaper on Tuesday that the UN probe had set its sights on Hezbollah from the outset and accused the United States of manipulating the investigation to implicate the group.

Another Lebanese newspaper, Al-Diar, reported that European diplomats had been taking soundings in Lebanon in to guage reactions among the country's multiple ethnic factions in the event the UN accuses Hezbollah of the killing.

Over the weekend, Hezbollah officials were quoted as saying that they had no objection to the Hariri inquiry and were looking forward to proving the group's innocence.

by Israel Today Staff

The synagogue was rebuilt a hundred years later and became the most important Jewish house of worship in the Holy Land, only to be blown to pieces by Jordanian troops during Israel’s 1948 War of Independence.

In 2001, Israel finally decided to rebuild the landmark, which today stands in the center of the Jewish Quarter in Jerusalem’s Old City. The building is scheduled to be completed and the Hurva Synagogue dedicated for the third time on March 15 of next year.

Excitement on Temple Mount as Rabbi Prostrates Himself

A large group of hareidi-religious Jews ascended the Temple Mount Tuesday and received friendly service from the police there – unlike the harsh police treatment that Jews typically receive on the Mount in recent years. One of the Jews was even allowed to fully prostrate himself in prayer, facing in the direction of the location of the ancient Temple – which is now occupied by a Muslim mosque. Unlike previous Jewish ascensions to the Mount in the recent past, and in contrast to this group's last ascension on Passover, in which their entry to the Mount was blocked, police on the Mount were courteous and friendly.

The group was allowed in promptly upon arrival and without delays. They were gripped by excitement when one of the rabbis prostrated himself facing the presumed location of the Temple's Holy of Holies in ancient times. Police allowed this religious act as well.

Jews are usually forbidden from openly praying or even mumbling prayers on the Mount, as part of an Israeli policy of complying with Muslim Wakf's demands in this matter. It is not completely clear whether the friendly police attitude Tuesday was a fluke or a sign of changing attitudes.

Temple Mount activist Yosef Rabin told Arutz Sheva that the event is a significant one. “There has been a long running effort to bring hareidim to the Mount and now it is starting to take root,” he said.

Rabin noted that ever since the liberation of the Mount in 1967, hareidi-religious Jews have usually preferred to avoid ascending it, and that the ones who went up to the holy site were Jews of the national-religious ilk. However, he said, “the image of the type of people that go to the Mount is starting to crack. It seems that everyone has followed the hareidi lead when it comes to Har HaBayit [Temple Mount], and now that hareidim are starting to go, we might start seeing a tremendous wave of all types.” Most of the renowned hareidi rabbis are against going up on the mountain, as was Rav Avraham Shapira zt"l of the zionist flagship Merkaz Harav Yeshiva, for fear of treading in places that are forbidden.

The group of Jews was led by Rabbi Yitzchak Brand of the city of Emanuel and Rabbi Yisrael Ariel of the Temple Institute in Jerusalem. The rabbis say they intend to bring ever-larger groups of Jews to the Mount with the purpose of eventually holding a Passover sacrifice there.

In ancient times, Jews who ascended the Mount fully prostrated themselves as part of the prayers there. The regular Jewish prayer services in synagogues include several instances of bowing in the direction of the synagogue's Torah Ark, and partial prostration is carried out on some holidays.

Posted by RJ on June 15, 2010 at 7:57pm
Send Message View RJ's blog

There are many legends of what happened to the ark of the covenant, but there is one in particular that has the backing of scrïpture and therefore has the most merit. The bible does not indicate what happened to the ark but there are other written documents that reveal these clues to us.

There is no indication whatsoever that it was destroyed but rather just hidden until the right time to be revealed and that time is soon approaching upon us. The ark is not underneath the temple mount as many believe it is. If it was, it would have been taken out and used in the second temple. But the ark was never used in the second temple because they did not know where it was.

The location of the ark with the most merit is that it was hidden by Jeremiah the prophet in Mount Nebo, the mountain that Moses saw the promised land from but was not allowed to enter into.

In our last news story, we explained how Israel will be coming out of Loammi the day of the great battle of Ezekiel 38 & 39. This is when Israel will be God’s people once again after many years of him hiding his face from them.

This will also be the time that the ark of the covenant will be revealed. Ezekiel 38 tells us that on the day of this battle that there will be a great shaking in the land of Israel, a great earthquake if you please.

More than likely, this great earthquake will reveal the ark of the covenant that is hidden in Mount Nebo.

The writings that tell us of the general location of the ark is the 2nd book of Maccabees chapter 2 which is found in the Apocrypha. The books in the Apocrypha are not commonly referred to as holy scrïptures but rather just possible decent history.

2nd Maccabees chapter 2 tells us,

4 It was also contained in the same writing, how the prophet, being warned by God, commanded that the tabernacle and the ark should accompany him, till he came forth to the mountain where Moses went up, and saw the inheritance of God.

5 And when Jeremiah came thither he found a hollow cave: and he carried in thither the tabernacle, and the ark, and the altar of incense, and so stopped the door.

6 Then some of them that followed him, came up to mark the place: but they could not find it.

7 And when Jeremiah perceived it, he blamed them, saying: The place shall be unknown, till God gather together the congregation of the people, and receive them to mercy.

8 And then the Lord will show these things, and the majesty of the Lord shall appear, and there shall be a cloud as it was also showed to Moses, and he showed it when Solomon prayed that the place might be sanctified to the great God.”

So Jeremiah took the ark of the covenant, the tabernacle and the altar of incense and hid them in a cave somewhere on Mount Nebo. The scrïptures tell us that Jeremiah did pass by mount Nebo when he went to the children of Ammon to warn them about the invasion of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon. This map shows gives us a basic idea of Jeremiah’s route from Jerusalem to the children of Ammon:

Jeremiah said that the place shall be unknown until God gathers the people and receives them to mercy. Our last news story tells us that Israel will come out of Loammi on that day of that great battle of Ezekiel 38 & 39, which is when God will have mercy upon Israel.

In Ezekiel 39 it says,

“25 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;

26 After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid.

27 When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;”
So the day of this battle in the mountains of Israel is the day that God will have mercy upon the house of Israel. The great shaking in the land of Israel on this day will move the rocks that Jeremiah blocked the door to the cave of where he hid the ark and the ark of the covenant will be revealed.

These events will lead to the building of the third temple.

The Ark of the Covenant

The holy scrïptures does not give any indication of what happened to the ark of the covenant. There are many legends out there, but I have found one in particular that makes the most sense and seems really solid and I would like to share it with you. I actually was not looking for this information, but rather I just stumbled across it.

It is not necessary for the believer today to understand these things, but it does make fun bible study.

The last days are upon us and the ark will seem to play a significant role during Daniel’s seventieth week.

First of all let’s look at a few of the legends of what might have happened to the ark. Here is what I have found so far by using wikipedia:
Fate of the Ark

Guesses as to the ultimate fate of the Ark include:

1. Capture by the Pharaoh Shishak when he sacked Jerusalem (Pharaoh Shoshenq I, founder of the 22nd Dynasty of Egypt, reigned from 944-924 BC. It has also been speculated that he may have been Ramses III). Reportedly, he took it back to Tanis, Egypt (15 miles outside present day Cairo). This is the theory followed by the Steven Spielberg film Raiders of the Lost Ark.

2. Intentional concealment by the priests under the Temple Mount;

3. Intentional removal from Jerusalem in advance of the Babylonians (this variant usually ends up with the Ark in Ethiopia);

4. The removal of the Ark by the Ethiopian prince Menelik I (purported son of King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba);

5. Removal by Jewish priests during the reign of Manasseh of Judah, possibly taken to the Jewish Temple at Elephantine in Egypt;

6. The miraculous removal of the Ark by divine intervention (Cf. 2 Chronicles); and even

7. The destruction of the original ornate Ark under King Josiah's reforms (when it may have been seen as violating the commandment against graven images) and replacement with a simple wooden box, easily lost when the Temple fell.

Rumored Present Locations

1. The Temple Mount of Jerusalem
2. Ethiopian Orthodox Church (I found it was pagan ark of Covenant - Maria)
3. Southern Africa
4. Mt. Nebo
5. Calvary Escarpment
6. Qumran
7. Languedoc
8. England
9. Ireland

It is very difficult for me to believe that the ark is in anyone’s possession today. If they really had the ark, why don’t they reveal it? These are things of legends.

But I did find one of these legends in particular that caught my eye and after checking it against the scrïpture it gave me the most solid evidence of the present location of the ark.

And by the way, it’s not lost. It’s hidden.

Now here’s a big question:

If you were the Lord and you wanted to hide the Ark of the Covenant would you hide it in a city with hundreds of thousands of people passing through it or would you hide it out in the wilderness where nobody goes? Would you put it in someone’s possession to be handed down through the ages or would you put it to where no one knew where it was and no one could find it until you wanted it revealed?

The latter seems to make the most sense. I do not believe anyone human alive knows the EXACT location of the ark. But it might be possible to know the general location of the ark and when it will be revealed.

Sometimes the things we teach are not found in the holy scrïptures. For instance: the date of the destruction of Jerusalem. Jesus prophesied about the destruction of Jerusalem but he did not give a date in the holy scrïptures. To come up with this date we have to go outside of the holy scrïptures.

You have to be very careful when you do this. I do not take history books as the holy scrïptures. I take the holy scrïptures as fact, truth and without error, but a history book can be kind of iffy. If a history book matches the holy scrïptures then I can take that information and use it very carefully but if it goes against the holy scrïptures, then I know to throw that information out.

On the destruction of Jerusalem it is commonly taught that it happened in 70 A.D. This does not come from the holy scrïptures but rather history books. It does not go against scrïpture, and we know for a fact that Jerusalem was destroyed, so it is very common to hear bible preachers and teachers say that Jerusalem was destroyed in 70 A.D.

Even though this information is not in scrïpture, it does give people that study a basic idea of when Jerusalem was destroyed. Now is 70 A.D. the exact date that Jerusalem was destroyed? I don’t know. All we have are history books to go by. The date doesn’t go against scrïpture, so it is commonly used to teach.

So one of the first things to check out information that is outside the scrïpture is this: does it go against scrïpture? If it does, chunk it.

Here’s a short (but not full) list of how to test info outside of scrïpture.

1. Does it go against scrïpture?
2. Does it match the scrïpture?
3. Does the information enhance the scrïpture?
4. Does the scrïpture enhance the information?

What it boils down to is that the information and the scrïptures have to work hand in hand. Here is another example:

In Isaiah 20 it says,

“1 In the year that Tartan came unto Ashdod, (when Sargon the king of Assyria sent him,) and fought against Ashdod, and took it;”

Here in this scrïpture is the mention of an Assyrian king named Sargon. At one time the holy scrïptures was the only place to find this name. There were no history books that ever recorded Sargon king of Assyria.

Many people felt the bible was in error. Nowhere in the world was this king’s name mentioned except in the holy scrïptures. No history books, nothing.

Then in the 1800’s the city of Nineveh was excavated. When they found the king’s palace it had bricks in it with the name “Sargon” inscribed in them plus plenty more information on him was found.

So what we have here is the holy scrïptures were enhanced by the finding of this information and the information on King Sargon was enhanced by the holy scrïptures. They worked hand in hand.

So any information outside of the holy scrïptures has to work with the holy scrïptures or you can throw it out the window.

And this is the situation we have here about the ark of the covenant. The scrïptures do not reveal to us of what happened to the ark. The scrïptures do not say it was destroyed, hidden, lost, stolen or anything else. There is just no information on it at all.

So if we are to have an understanding of what happened to the ark we have to go outside of the holy scrïptures to get this information, but this information has to work hand in hand with the holy scrïptures to be of any benefit for teaching to the saints.

When teaching the saints, there are things that they NEED to know and things that they WANT to know. I keep it a high priority to first teach the saints the things they need to know and after that I teach them things they want to know.

Teaching about the ark is just something that the saints want to know. It is not necessary for us to know this to do our work in the ministry. Teaching about the ark of the covenant is just one of those fun and interesting bible studies.

Anyway, let’s get going on this thing. I actually was not looking for this information, I just happen to stumble across it, tested it against the holy scrïptures and found it very amazing how much it lines up with scrïpture.

The information is found in the Apocrypha in 2nd Maccabees chapter 2. And before you ask, NO I do not accept anything in the Apocrypha as HOLY scrïpture, but some of it could possibly be decent history information. When the King James Bible was put together in 1611 the Apocrypha was in it, but it was eventually taken out. Nor do I believe the translators took it as holy scrïpture. So anything taken from the Apocrypha, as with any history book, the information must be tested against the holy scrïptures.

Now we know from the scrïpture that the ark of the covenant was put into the holy of holies when Solomon had the temple built. And when Nebuchadnezzar had Jerusalem destroyed the temple was destroyed also.

There is no record in the holy scrïptures of what happened to the ark. Nebuchadnezzar took many items from the temple but the ark is never mentioned as being one of them. So we have the mystery of the ark of the covenant.

As mentioned before, there are many legends of what happened to the ark but to me the information in 2nd Maccabees stands out above the rest so let’s go ahead and look at it. In chapter 2 it says,

“1 Now it is found in the descrïptions of Jeremiah, the prophet, that he commanded them that went into captivity, to take the fire, as it hath been signified, and how he gave charge to them that were carried away into captivity.

(The descrïptions... That is, the records or memoirs of Jeremiah, a work that is now lost.)

2 And how he gave them the law, that they should not forget the commandments of the Lord, and that they should not err in their minds, seeing the idols of gold, and silver, and the ornaments of them.

3 And with other such like speeches, he exhorted them that they would not remove the law from their heart.

By the way, this writing from 2nd Maccabees is taken from the old English Douay-Rheims bible. The King James is very similar. It doesn’t matter to me, I take neither one as holy scrïpture. If you prefer the King James Maccabees here it is:

“1 It is also found in the records, that Jeremy the prophet commanded them that were carried away to take of the fire, as it hath been signified:

2 And how that the prophet, having given them the law, charged them not to forget the commandments of the Lord, and that they should not err in their minds, when they see images of silver and gold, with their ornaments.

3 And with other such speeches exhorted he them, that the law should not depart from their hearts.

4 It was also contained in the same writing, that the prophet, being warned of God, commanded the tabernacle and the ark to go with him, as he went forth into the mountain, where Moses climbed up, and saw the heritage of God.

5 And when Jeremy came thither, he found an hollow cave, wherein he laid the tabernacle, and the ark, and the altar of incense, and so stopped the door.

6 And some of those that followed him came to mark the way, but they could not find it.

7 Which when Jeremy perceived, he blamed them, saying, As for that place, it shall be unknown until the time that God gather his people again together, and receive them unto mercy.

8 Then shall the Lord shew them these things, and the glory of the Lord shall appear, and the cloud also, as it was shewed under Moses, and as when Solomon desired that the place might be honourably sanctified.”

So what we have here are writings that tell us that, by the commandment of God, Jeremiah took the ark of the covenant, the tabernacle and the altar of incense and hid them in the same mountain that Moses climbed to look at the promised land.

Now if this were in the holy scrïptures I would believe it right away, but it’s not. So what we have to do is test this against the holy scrïpture to see if it goes against the holy scrïpture.

First, let’s get the location cleared up. In Deuteronomy 34 it says,

“1 And Moses went up from the plains of Moab unto the mountain of Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is over against Jericho. And the LORD shewed him all the land of Gilead, unto Dan,

2 And all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim, and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah, unto the utmost sea,

3 And the south, and the plain of the valley of Jericho, the city of palm trees, unto Zoar.

4 And the LORD said unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.

5 So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD.”

So according to the scrïpture, Moses saw the promised land from Mt. Nebo and the writings in 2nd Maccabees indicates that this is the same place that Jeremiah hid the ark of the covenant.

Now the last mention of the location of the ark is in 2nd Chronicles. The temple was in need of repair and king Josiah commanded that the repairs be accomplished. In 2nd Chronicles 34 it says,

“8 Now in the eighteenth year of his reign, when he had purged the land, and the house, he sent Shaphan the son of Azaliah, and Maaseiah the governor of the city, and Joah the son of Joahaz the recorder, to repair the house of the LORD his God.

9 And when they came to Hilkiah the high priest, they delivered the money that was brought into the house of God, which the Levites that kept the doors had gathered of the hand of Manasseh and Ephraim, and of all the remnant of Israel, and of all Judah and Benjamin; and they returned to Jerusalem.

10 And they put it in the hand of the workmen that had the oversight of the house of the LORD, and they gave it to the workmen that wrought in the house of the LORD, to repair and amend the house:”

Because the house of the Lord was being repaired, it seems that they moved the ark of the covenant out of the way to keep it safe for king Josiah later told the priests in chapter 35,

“3 And said unto the Levites that taught all Israel, which were holy unto the LORD, Put the holy ark in the house which Solomon the son of David king of Israel did build; it shall not be a burden upon your shoulders: serve now the LORD your God, and his people Israel,”

From this scrïpture, we know that at this time the ark was still in possession of the children of Israel. This is approximately 16-18 years before the first year of king Nebuchadnezzar and Jeremiah was also receiving prophecies from the Lord at this time.

Now for our first test we ask the question:

“Is there any scrïptural evidence that the ark, the tabernacle or the altar of incense ever made it to Babylon?”

Now when Nebuchadnezzar came into Jerusalem he took many items out of the temple and brought them back to Babylon. In 2nd Chronicles 36 it says,

“7 Nebuchadnezzar also carried of the vessels of the house of the LORD to Babylon, and put them in his temple at Babylon.”

But Nebuchadnezzar on his first time ransacking Jerusalem, did not take all of the items out of the house of the Lord. In Jeremiah 27 it says,

“18 But if they be prophets, and if the word of the LORD be with them, let them now make intercession to the LORD of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of the LORD, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, go not to Babylon.

19 For thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the pillars, and concerning the sea, and concerning the bases, and concerning the residue of the vessels that remain in this city,

20 Which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took not, when he carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah from Jerusalem to Babylon, and all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem;

21 Yea, thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, concerning the vessels that remain in the house of the LORD, and in the house of the king of Judah and of Jerusalem;

22 They shall be carried to Babylon, and there shall they be until the day that I visit them, saith the LORD; then will I bring them up, and restore them to this place.”

There are several places in the scrïpture that records what these items were that were taken. One of the notable ones are:

Jeremiah 52

“17 Also the pillars of brass that were in the house of the LORD, and the bases, and the brasen sea that was in the house of the LORD, the Chaldeans brake, and carried all the brass of them to Babylon.

18 The caldrons also, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass wherewith they ministered, took they away.

19 And the basons, and the firepans, and the bowls, and the caldrons, and the candlesticks, and the spoons, and the cups; that which was of gold in gold, and that which was of silver in silver, took the captain of the guard away.

20 The two pillars, one sea, and twelve brasen bulls that were under the bases, which king Solomon had made in the house of the LORD: the brass of all these vessels was without weight.

21 And concerning the pillars, the height of one pillar was eighteen cubits; and a fillet of twelve cubits did compass it; and the thickness thereof was four fingers: it was hollow

22 And a chapiter of brass was upon it; and the height of one chapiter was five cubits, with network and pomegranates upon the chapiters round about, all of brass. The second pillar also and the pomegranates were like unto these.

23 And there were ninety and six pomegranates on a side; and all the pomegranates upon the network were an hundred round about.”

Now what we are looking for here is to see if the ark of the covenant, the tabernacle, or the altar of incense made it to Babylon. In all the scrïptures that record the items that were taken from the temple to Babylon there is no mention of the ark, the tabernacle or the altar of incense.

2nd Maccabees declares to us that Jeremiah took these three items and hid them in mount Nebo.

So what we have here is that this simple test passes the test of whether or not the information about these three items goes against the scrïpture.

If there was mention of any of these three items in the holy scrïpture that they ended up at Babylon, then we would have to claim the info in 2nd Maccabees as false. So far, so good. Let’s continue with our testing.

TEST # 2

Now the writings of 2nd Maccabees declares that Jeremiah went to mount Nebo.

So here is the next test. Do we have any scrïptural information that tells us that Jeremiah went to mount Nebo or passed by Mount Nebo?

Yes we do. In Jeremiah 25 it says,

“1 The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, that was the first year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon;

15 For thus saith the LORD God of Israel unto me; Take the wine cup of this fury at my hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send thee, to drink it.

16 And they shall drink, and be moved, and be mad, because of the sword that I will send among them.

17 Then took I the cup at the LORD'S hand, and made all the nations to drink, unto whom the LORD had sent me:

18 To wit, Jerusalem, and the cities of Judah, and the kings thereof, and the princes thereof, to make them a desolation, an astonishment, an hissing, and a curse; as it is this day;

19 Pharaoh king of Egypt, and his servants, and his princes, and all his people;

20 And all the mingled people, and all the kings of the land of Uz, and all the kings of the land of the Philistines, and Ashkelon, and Azzah, and Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod,

21 Edom, and Moab, and the children of Ammon,”

We will stop right here, even though the list of where Jeremiah was sent by the Lord continues, the information we need is right here in verse 21.

Jeremiah was told to go out to these other nations to tell them of the news that the king of Babylon would be reigning over them. This was told to Jeremiah in the first year of Nebuchadnezzar’s reign. Now how long it took him I do not know nor does the scrïpture reveal the answer, but to travel all these places might have taken him a couple of years.

But anyway, we do know that he was sent to the children of Ammon. Now let’s look at this map:

This map shows us the route from Jerusalem to the land of the children of Ammon. Mount Nebo is on the way there. In 2nd Maccabees 2 it says,

“4 It was also contained in the same writing, how the prophet, being warned by God, commanded that the tabernacle and the ark should accompany him, till he came forth to the mountain where Moses went up, and saw the inheritance of God.”

This writing says that the ark should accompany him. So from the scrïpture we know for a fact that Jeremiah went to the children of Ammon and passed right by mount Nebo to get there.

So it is very possible that Jeremiah took the ark, the tabernacle and the altar of incense with him and it accompanied him on his trip to see the children of Ammon and hid it in Mount Nebo before he got to his destination.

Test number two passes. Jeremiah was definitely in the vicinity of Mount Nebo before Nebuchadnezzar went in and destroyed Jerusalem.

TEST # 3

Test number 3 is just a thinking question about something making plain sense. We had mentioned this earlier and we are going to go into a little more detail

If you were the Lord and you wanted to hide the ark of the covenant, the tabernacle and the altar of incense, would you put it in a major city where hundreds of thousands of people pass through?

Would you hand it to a person that could pass it down from generation to generation?

Would you put it in some type of church or synagogue?

Or would you hide it in the wilderness where nobody dwells and cannot find it?

The latter would seem to make the most sense. If you want to hide something simply put it where nobody dwells and do not tell anyone it’s exact location.

This writing in Maccabees also to my knowledge is the only info about the ark that God commanded it to be hid and God will be the one to reveal it at the time he has chosen.

This makes much more sense than someone taking the ark into their own possession and passing it down from generation to generation.

So what we have so far is:

1. The scrïpture does not tell us that the ark, the tabernacle, and the altar of incense went to Babylon with the rest of the things from the temple.

2. The scrïptures tell us that Jeremiah did pass by Mount Nebo before the destruction of Jerusalem.

3. Hiding the ark in the wilderness makes more sense than hiding it in a city, with people watching over it.

So the possibility of Jeremiah hiding the ark in Mount Nebo is very real. What makes it even more believable is when it is going to be revealed. Back again in 2nd Maccabees 2 it says,

Here we have Jeremiah stating that the place where the ark is hid shall be unknown, TILL…

In other words, it will not be found by man at any random time. God has hidden the ark. If man had lost the ark, then there is a possibility that man could find it again. Several legends say that a man took it or other such things but this one states that the ark was hidden by God and God will be the one to reveal it when the time is ready.

This tells me that those people that are searching for the ark will never find it. They are treasure hunters looking for a treasure. The place of the hidden ark will not be known until God reveals it. They are wasting their time and other people’s money.

This makes perfect sense to me. This tells me that it will not show up at any random time but rather a specific time that God has already planned. Let’s continue:

“7 And when Jeremiah perceived it, he blamed them, saying: The place shall be unknown, till God gather together the congregation of the people, and receive them to mercy.”

Here Jeremiah tells us exactly when the ark will be revealed, when God gathers Israel and receives them to mercy.

With this information we can pinpoint the timeframe when the ark will be revealed. But first we need some background on when Israel became Loammi, not my people. If you are unfamiliar with Israel becoming Loammi, Please read this article:

If you are already familiar with Israel becoming Loammi, then let’s continue.

For over 1900 years the nation of Israel has been in their Loammi state. Soon their state of being Loammi will be over and they will become God’s people again.

When they became Loammi, Israel was cut off of the good olive tree as the apostle Paul explains to us in Romans 11. In that same chapter, Paul explains that they will one day be grafted back into the good olive tree. This is when their time of Loammi will be over and they will be God’s people again.

The prophecy of the 70 weeks of Daniel was interrupted by their time of being Loammi. The prophecy was given in 3 sections, a 7 week section, a 62 week section and a 1 week section.

When Israel fell and became Loammi not my people, the prophecy stopped and the dispensation of grace was given to the Gentiles. This separated the 69th and 70th weeks of Daniel’s prophecy. When the dispensation of grace is over, Israel’s time of being Loammi will be over also and they will become God’s people again and the prophecy of the 70 weeks will resume.

The prophecy CANNOT resume until Israel becomes God’s people once again.

In the scrïpture, God has given us the time frame and a special event that will take place that will show us when Israel’s time of Loammi is complete. This is found in Ezekiel chapter 38 and 39. These two chapters reveal unto us a battle that will take place in the northern mountains of Israel. We will talk more of this battle later but for right now we will take a verse from chapter 39 which is very, very important.

“22 So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward.”

On the day of this battle, this will be the day that the Lord becomes their God again and they become God’s people again. On the day of this battle, Israel’s time of Loammi will be over. They will be grafted back into the good olive tree as Paul said in Romans 11.

Once this happens, that they are God’s people once again, the prophecy of Daniel’s 70 weeks can now resume and the 70th week, commonly know as the tribulation, will start. This will be the beginning of the 484th year of Daniel’s prophecy.

Never again will Israel be not God’s people, but from this day forward they will be God’s people forevermore.

Let’s look at this chart:

This chart represents Daniel's 70th week and shows the last seven years from year 484 through 490. The day of this battle will be the day that Israel becomes God's people again and the prophecy of the 70 weeks will resume.

Now that they are God’s people once again some very special things will happen. Let’s continue reading in Ezekiel 39,

“23 And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword.

24 According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them.

25 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;

26 After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid.

27 When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;

28 Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.

29 Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.”

There is plenty of info in these few scrïptures but for this study we want to put emphasis on a couple of things. In verse 25 it says,

“25 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have MERCY upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;”

Please notice that now that Israel is God’s people again that he will be having MERCY upon them.
Now in other verses:

"27 When I have brought them again from the people, and GATHERED them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;

28 Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have GATHERED them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there."

Please notice that now that Israel is God’s people again that he is going to GATHER them together back into the land of Israel.

So now that they are God’s people again he is going to have MERCY upon them and GATHER them back into their land. Now let’s go back to 2nd Maccabees and see when the ark is going to be revealed:

“7 And when Jeremiah perceived it, he blamed them, saying: The place shall be unknown, till God gather together the congregation of the people, and receive them to mercy.”

Please notice the writing says that the place where the ark was hidden will be unknown “…till God GATHER together the congregation of the people, and receive them to MERCY.”

So what we have here is a match from Ezekiel 39 we know that when Israel becomes God’s people again he will GATHER them and have MERCY on them and here in 2nd Maccabees it says that the ark will be hidden until God GATHERS Israel and has MERCY upon them.

By taking this match, it looks like God is going to reveal the location of the ark when Israel comes out of their state of Loammi and becomes God’s people again.

This makes perfect sense.

We know for a fact that the temple will be built because halfway through the 70th week the antichrist will go into it and set himself up as God.

Now what could possibly cause the temple to be rebuilt?

How about the revealing of the ark of the covenant?

So what I am about to do is put together a possible scenario of how this could all happen. Please understand what you are about to read is speculation. It is not possible for me to accurately predict the future, but like just about everyone else, I can make a guess at it by using the holy scrïpture, world events, and 2nd Maccabees. Of course, this would require the writings in 2nd Maccabees to be accurate which is an iffy proposition.

Nevertheless, just for the fun of it, here it goes:

Iran (Persia) just this past week, successfully tested a medium range missile that could reach Israel (week of May 18-22, 2009). Iran is also building up a stockpile of nuclear fuel that they could use to make nuclear weapons. Of course, Iran claims that their nuclear projects are for peaceful purposes. (Why would a country that has all the free oil and gas they want to make electricity want to spend billions on making nuclear powered electricity? Go figure.)

Anyway, Israel is not buying it. They do not believe Iran is building up it’s nuclear fuel for peaceful purposes and neither do many other countries.

Israel has already said that if the U.N. or the United States does not do anything about it, they will. Israel is planning on bombing Iran’s nuclear facilities.

Also this week, Israel did a military exercise test run of bombing Iran.

So something is definitely going down. Israel cannot wait until Iran develops a nuclear missile by then it will be too late. Iran has already stated many times that Israel should be “wiped off the map.”

So Israel doesn’t really have a choice in the matter. They can wait until Iran has a nuclear missile and just take their chances with it or they can wipe out Iran’s nuclear capabilities. Either way, it is not going to be a pretty scene.

More than likely, Israel will be bombing Iran very soon. Possibly by the end of this year or sometime early next year. They know within about two more years, Iran could have a nuclear weapon. They have to act now or be annihilated later. They have no choice.

So Israel will be bombing Iran. Of course, to the world this will look like an unprovoked attack on Iran and many countries will be very angry with them.

Iran will definitely retaliate and get help in doing so. This is where the prophecy of Ezekiel 38-39 kicks in. Starting in 38:1 it says,

“1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,

3 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:

4 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:

5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:

6 Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.

7 Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.

8 After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.

9 Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.”

So here in Ezekiel 38 it lists the people that will come against Israel in the latter years which is as follows:

The land of Magog (probably Russia)
Persia (this is definitely Iran)
Gomer and Togarmah (Turkey)

Russia and Iran are very tight, like two peas in a pod, so it would make perfect sense that Russia will come to aid Iran in this battle.

So this great army alliance will consist of Russia, Iran, Ethiopia, Libya and Turkey. They will attack Israel from the north, which are in the mountains of Israel.

By the way, before we go any farther I have to mention that there are some believers that believe that this battle of Ezekiel 38-39 is the battle of Armegeddon. It is not. This battle takes place in the mountains of Israel but the battle of Armegeddon takes place in a valley, the valley of Armegeddon. The battle of Armegeddon takes place at the end of the 70th week, the battle of Ezekiel 38-39 takes place at the beginning of the 70th week.

The battle of Ezekiel 38-39 the armies will gather to battle Israel. In the battle of Armegeddon the armies will gather to battle the Lord.

Two different locations, two different times, two different battles. They are not the same. Let’s continue.

You can see here that to attack Israel from the north they will have to gather together north of Israel so they can go into the mountains of Israel. Now let’s go back to the scrïpture and see what happens when they attack. In Ezekiel 38 it says,

“15 And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:

16 And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.

17 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?

18 And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face.

19 For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;

20 So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.

21 And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man's sword shall be against his brother.

22 And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.

23 Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.

This is going to be a major world event. Just as when we had the Gulf war and now the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan you can rest assured that the news media will be there with there cameras rolling recording as much stuff as they can.

But the Lord will be the one fighting this battle for Israel. He will cause a great shaking in the land, which more than likely will be a major earthquake, he will cause pestilence (disease) to come upon them, overflowing rain, great hailstones, fire and brimstone.

The army will be is disarray. They will be confused and start to fight each other and kill one another.
The Lord will cause all of this to come upon the army that attacks Israel. Israel will not have to lift a finger, the Lord will handle it.

Now you can imagine when the world sees this, they are going to know that Israel has their God back. In verse 23 it says,

"23 Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD."

Many nations will know at this time that the Lord has done this and the Lord will be magnified and sanctified in their sight. Let’s continue in chapter 39,

“1 Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:

2 And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel:

3 And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.

4 Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee:
I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.

5 Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.

6 And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD.

7 So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.

8 Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD; this is the day whereof I have spoken.”

So this great army will fall upon the mountains of Israel.

Now here is something that is pure speculation. In verse 6 it says,

“6 And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD.”

What does this mean that the Lord will send fire on Magog and them that dwell carelessly in the isles? On this I ask myself, what people on this earth dwell carelessly more than any other people?

The United States of America.

We dwell more carelessly than anyone else in the world and when you compare the Untied States unto the entire continent of Asia, we are nothing but an isle protected by vast oceans on either side.

Now here is a possible scenario no matter how far fetched it may sound:

Russia goes to attack Israel. The United States tells them to back down or else. Russia could care less what the U.S. says, they are going to attack Israel. The arguments get very heated. On the day that Russia attacks Israel, the United States and Russia have a nuclear exchange. The result?

“6 And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD.”

The world superpower that the United States was will be gone in one day. In other words, the United States could be put out of the picture as a single major power. This will make way for the antichrist.

If knocking a few buildings down in New York caused total chaos in the United States and caused it to shut down, just think what a few nuclear bombs would do.

Because this is the start of the tribulation this also would be a good cover up for the rapture and why so many people are missing. For those of you that would like to see more information on the rapture (or the adoption as Paul calls it) and why it takes place at the beginning of the tribulation, please check out this article:

But truthfully, I do not know what the Lord means to send fire on Magog and them that dwell carelessly in the isles. Gog is the leader of Magog. Magog is the land. The fire will be going upon the land of Magog.

If there was going to ever be a nuclear exchange recorded in scrïpture, this would probably be it. But all this is pure speculation, just a guess. I really do not know what it means. All I know is that fire is hot and the land of Magog is going to get it along with them that dwell carelessly in the isles.

Anybody’s guess is just as good as anybody else’s. Now let’s get back to the battle in Israel.

“9 And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years:

10 So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord GOD.”

Please notice here that Israel will be burning the weapons for seven years. This matches the time frame for Daniel’s seventieth week perfectly. They will be burning these weapons throughout the entire tribulation period.

The next few verses tell us of the burying of the slain. Let’s skip to verse 21 which says,

“21 And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.”

The heathen of this world will know that something is going on in Israel. And the heathen will also know why Israel went into captivity, but first once again verse 22,

“22 So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward.”

Once again, the day of this battle is VERY significant. From this day forward they will be God’s people again and he will NEVER hide his face from them again. In verse 29 it says,

“29 Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.”

So the day of this battle is the start of the tribulation period, Daniel’s seventieth week, when Israel is God’s people again and the prophecy of the 70 weeks can now resume.

Now back to the ark. After this battle takes place God will be magnified and sanctified in the eyes of the heathen. He is going to gather his people and have mercy upon them. Once again, if the writings in 2nd Maccabees are solid, then this is when the ark will be revealed.

Now let’s back up to Ezekiel 38 and I would like to put emphasis on something for a minute.

“19 For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a GREAT SHAKING in the land of Israel;

20 So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, AND EVERY WALL SHALL FALL TO THE GROUND.”

Now one of the major obstacles for rebuilding the temple is the temple site. There seems to be a mosque built over it. Now whether or not the Dome of the Rock is the exact site of the original temple I do not know, but many claim it is.

But on the day of this battle there is going to be a great shaking in the land of Israel and it says that every wall shall fall to the ground.

Is it possible that the walls of the Dome of the Rock will come tumbling down? Yes, it is a very good possibility. The Dome of the Rock gets completely destroyed and Israel didn’t have a thing to do with it. So the Moslems cannot get mad at Israel for the destruction of the Dome of the Rock.

If this happens, it will pave the way for the rebuilding of the temple.

Now here is the scene:

Israel bombs Iran.
Soon afterward Iran with Russia and others go to attack Israel.
The Lord destroys them in the mountains.
All the heathen see that God destroyed them.
The Dome of the Rock is destroyed by the great shaking in the land of Israel.
The ark of the covenant, the tabernacle and the altar of incense are revealed on that day or shortly thereafter.

Wow! What a day!

God will magnify and sanctify himself before the heathen and they will know that he is the Lord. The ark will also be revealed by a supernatural means. The writings in 2nd Maccabees says,

The ark will be revealed by a cloud as Moses saw.

Very soon afterward the antichrist makes a 7 year treaty with Israel (confirms the covenant for one week). He hands over the temple site and allows them to build the temple.

Now let’s say you are a Jew and you live halfway around the world. You see the land of Israel attacked and the enemy is defeated by God in a very supernatural way. The Dome of the Rock is destroyed. The ark of the covenant is revealed. They start to rebuild the temple.

What would you think?

God will begin to gather his people just as it says in Ezekiel 39. So it is very possible that this battle fought by the Lord himself, the revealing of the ark and the rebuilding of the temple is the calling card for all Jews to work their way home.

But there’s more. As you know, the daily sacrifices will begin again when the temple is rebuilt. In Daniel 8 it says,

“13 Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?

14 And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.”

So from the time that the daily sacrifices start unto the cleansing of the sanctuary at the end of the 70th week will be 2300 days. This is approximately 6.3 years. This gives about .7 years to rebuild the temple, which is approximately 8 months.

So from the beginning of the seventieth week when the temple starts to be rebuilt to the time they start doing the daily sacrifices is about 8 months for the rebuilding of the temple.

Halfway through the 70th week (3 1⁄2 years) the antichrist will cause the abomination of desolation and at this time the Lord told the children of Israel to flee. In Matthew 24 it says,

“15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand

16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:"

Now where did the Lord tell them to flee? To the mountains.

This is also recorded in Revelation 12, which says,

“6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.”

The one thousand two hundred and threescore days equals three and a half years, which is a time, times and half a time. So from the time that the antichrist does the abomination of desolation thing, the Jewish believers will flee to the mountains and be nourished there for 3 1⁄2 years till the end of the 70th week when the Lord comes back.

Question: Where does the battle of Ezekiel 38-39 take place? In the mountains of Israel. At the halfway point the Jewish believers will flee to those mountains and be nourished there. God will prepare a place for them.

I don’t believe the Lord will be building condos in the mountains of Israel so more than likely the children of Israel will be camping in the mountains and living in caves for 3 1⁄2 years.

Remember the weapons? How long will they be burning the weapons? For the full 7 years. Will the children of Israel have to go gather any firewood out of the forests? No. They will have all the firewood they need from the battle that will take place from Ezekiel 38-39 right there in the mountains of Israel.

What about food?

When the great army attacks from the north and is destroyed whatever they carried with them will be left in the mountains of Israel. Now American soldiers are given MRE’s (meals ready to eat) and I am told that these MRE’s are good for about 8 years.

What about the Russians, the Iranians, the Libyans, the Turks and the Ethiopians? What kind of supplies will they carry into battle? MRE’s? Canned goods? Bottled water? If these countries are sending their armies into battle then they must also send provisions for them. They will need truckloads of provisions for a very great army. But since they will be destroyed, they will not need their provisions. They will all be left behind to nourish the children of Israel when they flee from the antichrist.

So what we have here was a fun little bible study about the ark of the covenant and what role it will play during the last days. Of course, as I mentioned no one knows the future but the Lord. All this is just one case scenario about the way it could happen. It very well could be completely different.

But the writings about the hiding of the ark and when it will be revealed look pretty solid. It does not go against scrïpture and it actually blends in with the holy scrïpture. But does 2nd Maccabees have any merit? That is for the individual to decide. It’s not holy scrïpture, but it could very well be a very important piece of history.

The Greatest Progress Toward the Rebuilding of the Holy Temple in Modern History: Blueprints for The Holy Temple

Blueprints and Computer Animation of the Sanhedrin Chamber of Hewn Stone

In his recent USA speaking engagement tour, (January 2011), Rabbi Chaim Richman of the Temple Institute revealed to the public for the very first time detailed construction plans for the Chamber of Hewn Stone: the seat of the Great Sanhedrin which is a central component of the Holy Temple complex on the Temple Mount. These complete and highly intricate plans constitute the first stage of an historical undertaking of the Temple Institute: the drafting of blueprints for the entire Holy Temple complex. These plans, drawn up by a top Israeli architectural firm hired by the Temple Institute, take into account the specific requirements of the Sanhedrin assembly hall, known historically as the Chamber of Hewn Stone. At the same time these plans incorporate modern technological infrastructure necessary to a twenty-first century facility: this includes internet ports, wireless communications systems, computer data storage, elevators, air conditioning and underground parking.

All these modern amenities, and many more, have been integrated into the Sanhedrin structure without compromising the integrity of the great assembly's physical or spiritual character.

No land can be prepared, no foundation can be laid, no wall can be erected without a detailed architectual plan first being drawn up, approved by engineers and presented to the appointed site manager. The plans you are viewing on this page fulfill every requirement necessary for the immediate commencement of work on this aspect of the Holy Temple complex.

The Sanhedrin Chamber of Hewn Stone is but a single chamber in the northern wall of the Holy Temple. It was chosen as the initial focus of the blueprint project, not because of its architectural significance, per se, but because of its overwhelming spiritual significance to the world. The seventy elders of the Sanhedrin have been vested with the authority of the seventy elders whom G-d commanded Moshe to appoint in the desert:

"Then HaShem said to Moses, 'Assemble for Me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the people's elders and officers, and you shall take them to the Tent of Meeting, and they shall stand there with You. I will come down and speak with you there, and I will increase the spirit that is upon you and bestow it upon them. Then they will bear the burden of the people with you so that you need not bear it alone.'" (Numbers 11:16-17)

These elders are not only judges, but also teachers who task is to ensure that "for out of Zion shall the Torah come forth, and the word of HaShem from Jerusalem." (Isaiah 2:3) This being said, it should also be noted that the Chamber of Hewn Stone sits in close proximity to the Ark of the Covenant, from which the sages draw Divine inspiration.

We invite all souls who long for the Holy Temple and seek a role in the historical undertaking that we have begun, to join us in our efforts.

The video below is a virtual computer-generated walk-through of the Sanhedrin Chamber of Hewn Stone.

MessagePosté le: Dim 29 Juil - 16:17 (2012)    Sujet du message: UN LEADER MUSULMAN VEUT LA RECONSTRUCTION DU TEMPLE Répondre en citant

ENGLISH : Muslim leader wants Temple rebuilt

A futuristic vision of a newscast on the “Beit HaMikdash” (Holy Temple) channel has been produced by Emunah College student Kayla Krauss. Her final video project is called “Speedily in Our Days,” referring to the prayer for the building of the Third Temple.

Krauss appears briefly in the video as the “blonde politician,” and the main actors are Rachel Za’ada, the newscaster, “Temple spokesman” Shmuel Artzman and Shoshanna Harrari, as herself.

Sunday is the last day to see the full project on display at Emunah College, 104 Derech Beit Lechem in Jerusalem.

Krauss moved to Israel five years ago and is a graduating student at Emunah College, where she has learned graphic design and multimedia.

The PA denies Jewish history in Jerusalem
The Jewish Temple is "the alleged Temple"
Examples from April - July 2011

by Itamar Marcus and Nan Jacques Zilberdik

Earlier this week, on the Jewish day of mourning known as Tisha B'Av, which commemorates the anniversary of the destruction of the Temple, the official PA daily denied the Temple's existence, referring to it as "the destruction of the alleged Temple" and "the so-called destruction."

For years, Palestinian Authority leaders have actively denied Jewish history both in ancient Judea/Israel and in Jerusalem in particular. Palestinian Media Watch has documented this ongoing PA policy of historical revisionism, which centers on the denial that a Jewish Temple ever existed in Jerusalem. PA political and religious leaders, officials, and even academics consistently refer to the Temple as "the alleged Temple." [Arabic: Al-Haikal Al-Maz'oom].

The Palestinian claims that the Temple never existed and that Jews have no history in the Land of Israel not only contradict Jewish sources, Christian sources, and the archeological record, but contradict the Quran as well. The Quran in Sura 17:2-7 mentions the "Children of Israel's" two periods of independence in the land and the destruction of both the First and the Second Temple: "...to enter the Temple even as they entered it for the first time, and to lay waste..."

The PA accuses Israel of forging a false Jewish history in the land while at the same time stealing Palestinian history, culture, and heritage. The Palestinians refer to these actions as "Judaization." The main target of this "Judaization" is the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which Israel purportedly conspires to destroy in order to build the Jewish Temple.

Advisor to PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, Ahmad Al-Ruweidi, recently denied the existence of the Temple while commenting on an Israeli excavation of a tunnel:

"I personally visited the entrance to this tunnel, and it is clear that they [the Israelis] have built it modeled on the alleged Temple, as a basis for transferring the Temple in the future into the Al-Aqsa Mosque."

The following are examples from the PMW archives from April to July 2011. The examples are arranged in two categories: PA leaders refer to the Jewish Temple as "the alleged temple" and PA denial of Jewish history in the land and accusations of heritage theft.

PA leaders refer to the Jewish Temple as "the alleged temple"

PA daily news report: "The destruction of the alleged Temple"

"Since Monday morning, groups of extremist Jews have been roaming the courtyards of Al-Aqsa mosque (i.e., the Temple Mount) one after the other, under heavy police protection, on the occasion of the [week of the] so-called "destruction of the Temple"... This Sunday, the occupation's police handed the shop owners in the Market of the Cotton Merchants... which leads to the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, an order forcing them to close their shops on Monday afternoon (i.e., the eve of the anniversary of the destruction of the Temple - Tisha B'av), in order to facilitate the arrival of the settlers to the Market, for the sake of holding special Talmudic rituals on the occasion of the destruction of the alleged Temple."
[Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Aug. 9, 2011]

Abbas' advisor: Israel wants to transfer the alleged Temple into the Al-Aqsa Mosque
PA TV News broadcast, main report the Committee to Protect Silwan's report concerning the Israeli excavation of a tunnel.

PA TV newsreader: "[The Committee to Protect Silwan] noted that some of the Israeli sources had said that a gold bell had been found in the tunnel, belonging to what they call the Second Temple Period. This once again highlights the efforts of the Israeli side to forge the history of the holy city."
Interview with Ahmad Al-Ruweidi, advisor to President Abbas, on the Committee's report:

Abbas' advisor, Al-Ruweidi: "I personally visited the entrance to this tunnel, and it is clear that they [the Israelis] have built it modeled on the alleged Temple, as a basis for transferring the Temple in the future into the Al-Aqsa Mosque."
[PA TV (Fatah), July 26, 2011]

Chairman of the Palestinian National Council calls Temple "alleged temple"

"Chairman of the [Palestinian] National Council, Salim Al-Za'anoun, yesterday demanded a halt to the works to Judaize the city of Jerusalem, ...in the vicinity of the [Al-Aqsa] Mosque, turning them into ritual baths for the 'alleged temple', and turning the surroundings of the Mosque and the Old City of Jerusalem into biblical parks."
[Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, June 19, 2011]

Jews visiting the Temple Mount are "invasion," and all Israelis are "settlers"

"Israeli MP Michael Ben-Ari invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Tuesday heading a group of settlers, who were on a tour of the Al-Aqsa Mosque complex, listening to Ben-Ari's explanations about the alleged Temple... Chairman of the Supreme Council for Shari'a Law, Sheikh Yusuf Ida'is, said that the invasion of Al-Aqsa had been carried out under the protection of extensive occupation (i.e., Israeli) police forces. He warned of a most dangerous plot of the Israeli establishment, including its various branches, to seize control of [the Mosque], in order to destroy it and establish the alleged Temple in its place."
[Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, June 9, 2011]

Official PA daily: Israel's "Judaization plans... serve the myth and legend of the alleged Temple"

"It should be noted that the decisions to destroy and remove the Al-Bustan neighborhood were meant to realize the Judaization plans, according to which Talmudic parks would be established in its stead, serving the myth and legend of the alleged temple."
[Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, May 12, 2011]

PA TV: The "alleged Temple" is "myth and legend"

"In occupied Jerusalem, the so-called 'Israel Supreme Court of Justice' is expected to rule on the fate of 88 homes in the Al-Bustan neighborhood. Member of the Silwan and Al-Bustan Neighborhood Defense Committee, Fakhri Abu Diab... emphasized that occupation forces [Israel] are trying to remove the neighborhood altogether and to expel its residents, numbering more than 2,500, with the aim of building Talmudic parks which serve the myth and legend of the alleged Temple."
[PA TV, May 11, 2011]

Official PA daily: "The legend and fable of the alleged Temple"

"The Committee for Protection of Silwan Land and Assets warned of accelerated work in the area... [Member of the committee Fakhri] Abu Diab drew attention to the fact that the occupation authorities (i.e., Israel) are acting to falsify facts and history, by 'planting' alleged graves in the area, claiming that they are Jewish ones, and thereby conclusively seizing the area... He stated that the results of the [construction of] very prominent works being carried out by the occupation's instruments, are changes in the area's landmarks, with the aim of falsifying its history and its heritage, and [bringing about] its complete Judaization, as a service to the legend and fable of the alleged Temple. As to the parks... they will belong to the Temple, which the occupation authorities and groups of extremist Jews are hurrying to build in place of the Al-Aqsa Mosque."
[Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, May 7, 2011]

Former Minister of Religious Affairs: The "alleged Temple" never existed on the site of Al-Aqsa Mosque

"'Quds.net Center for Research and Communications' recently published the book, 'The Guide to the Al-Aqsa Mosque', by speaker at the Al-Aqsa Mosque and former Minister of Religious Affairs, Sheikh Yusuf Salameh. The book... deals with the Al-Aqsa Mosque, its importance, and the religious importance of the city of Jerusalem, in order to refute what the Israelis disseminate, claiming that the Al-Aqsa Mosque was built on the ruins of their temple. Sheikh Salameh said that the book was published at this sensitive time, with the holy city in general and the Al-Aqsa Mosque in particular being subjected to brutal occupation attack, aimed at forging reality, culture and history... The book refutes the Israeli claims that the Al-Aqsa Mosque is situated upon the ruins of the alleged Temple, and states that the Al-Buraq Wall (i.e., the Western Wall) is an authentic part of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and is not the 'Wailing Wall', as the occupiers falsely refer to it."
[Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, May 2, 2011]

Former PA Chief Justice of Religious Court: Israel plans destruction of Al-Aqsa Mosque to build "alleged Temple"

"Former [PA] Chief Religious Justice, Sheikh Tayseer Al-Tamimi... warned against negligence of the nation in fulfilling its obligation to defend Jerusalem, which would allow the Israeli occupation to carry out its plans - its transformation into a Jewish city and the destruction of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, in order to establish the alleged Temple in its place."
[Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, April 28, 2011]

Official PA daily: "Alleged Temple"

"The Al-Aqsa Institute for Islamic Trusts and Heritage said that the Israeli occupation had replaced several stones from the wall with stones carrying Talmudic Jewish symbols, such as a stone with a model of the alleged Temple."
[Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, April 13, 2011]

PA denial of Jewish history and accusations of heritage theft

PA TV News: Israel steals Palestinian identity and cultural heritage
PA TV News on a Debka folkdance festival held in Safa, in the Ramallah district:

PA TV reporter: "[The groups] are directing a message to the entire world, that the Palestinian nation still retains its identity and its cultural heritage, while Israel attempts to steal this heritage."
[PA TV (Fatah), July 15, 2011]

PA distortion: Jews changed original Arabic name "Al-Buraq Wall" to "the Wailing Wall"

Official PA daily's columnist on religious affairs, Is'haq Feleifel: "The great and exalted Allah commanded the angel Gabriel to place Muhammad upon the riding beast [named] Al-Buraq, which was a cross between horse and donkey. The night journey was both physical and spiritual... Once he [Muhammad] reached the Al-Aqsa Mosque, (PMW note: the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem was not yet built in the time of Muhammad. The "night journey" mentioned in the Quran is dated to 621 CE. The mosque was built on the Temple Mount by the son of Ummayad Caliph Abd Al-Malik 84 years later in 705 CE.) the angel Gabriel removed Muhammad from upon Al-Buraq's back, and then he tied the beast to the Al-Buraq rock, which was called the 'Al-Buraq Wall'. The Jews changed its name to the 'Wailing Wall', because the Jews are always trying to change Arabic names into Hebrew names, especially when it comes to prayer sites or names of towns and villages. For example, they call Al-Quds 'Jerusalem'; Al-Khalil [they call] 'Hebron'; Atara - 'Atarot, Nablus - 'Shechem', Tel Al-Rabi'a - 'Tel Aviv'(PMW note: 'Rabi'a' is the Arabic translation of the Hebrew word 'aviv', meaning 'spring'); Askelan - Ashkelon. There is not enough room to list all the names which have been replaced with false names. Even the 'Torah' falsified, changed and forged; this is the way of the Jews - they always try to change the real names to other, false names, in order to erase the [historical] facts."
[Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, July 1, 2011]

It should be noted that all six Hebrew names of cites appear in the Bible long before the Arabic names existed.

Palestinian distortion: "If I forget thee, oh Jerusalem" was Crusader expression usurped by Zionists

Palestinian researcher Dr. Hayel Sanduqa on PA TV claims that the Hebrew Bible's psalm was actually first said by a Crusader:

"[The Israelis] have acted to change Jerusalem's character. Even the expression (Psalm 137:5) 'If I forget thee, oh Jerusalem, may my right hand forget its skill. May my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth, if I do not remember thee.'
This statement, said by the Frankish [Crusader] ruler of Acre shortly before he left, was borrowed by the Zionist movement, which falsified it in the name of Zionism."
[PA TV, June 2, 2011]

Jewish presence in land of Israel 2,000 years ago "represents... nothing more than invention and falsification"

"The Zionists must acknowledge publicly, in front of the world, that the Jews have no connection to the Palestinian Arab land, upon whose ruins arose the colonialist settler Zionist plan that settles and expels, represented by the Israeli apartheid state. That which occurred two thousand years ago (i.e., the Jewish/Israeli presence in the land), assuming that it is true, represents in the book of history nothing more than invention and falsification and a coarse and crude form of colonialism."
[Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, May 27, 2011]

Israel stole Palestinian heritage, including clothing, keffiyeh, falafel and humus
Columnist Muwaffaq Matar, commenting on the cheap products from the Far East flooding the Palestinian market:

"The Israelis have already stolen our clothing, our keffiyeh, our falafel and our humus, so why should we [now] allow produce from China and Taiwan to burn our olive tree (i.e., destroy the local economy)?"
[Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, May 26, 2011]

PA mayor: "The Zionist enemy" is trying "to create a history" at the expense of Palestinian history

Ahmad Budheir, Mayor of Kufr Al-Hares: "We are suffering from the Zionist enemy, from the visits of the settlers - or the incessant invasions of the settlers - into the town, from the harassment and repeated assaults on citizens, on homes and on the land. They are trying to create a history that doesn't exist on our land, as usual, to steal the history and to steal the culture. They are trying to build history at the expense of our own history."
[PA TV (Fatah), May 23, 2011]

Abbas denies Jews have history in Israel

Abbas' speech in Gaza, delivered in his name by his advisor and representative Abdallah Al-Ifranji, in honor of "nakba" day - "catastrophe" day, the day the PA mourns the creation of the State of Israel:

PA moderator of PA Gaza event: "The speech of President Mahmoud Abbas, Chairman of the PLO Executive Committee and President of the Palestinian Authority, will be delivered by the comrade, the great fighter, Abdallah Al-Ifranji, representative and advisor of the President."

Mahmoud Abbas, (delivered by his representative, Abdallah Al-Ifranji): "National reconciliation [between Hamas and Fatah] is required in order to face Israel and Netanyahu. We say to him [Netanyahu], when he claims - that they [Jews] have a historical right dating back to 3000 years BCE - we say that the nation of Palestine upon the land of Canaan had a 7000 year history BCE. This is the truth, which must be understood and we have to note it, in order to say: 'Netanyahu, you are incidental in history. We are the people of history. We are the owners of history.'"
[PA TV, May 14, 2011]

Official PA daily: Israel not only steals land but also history of Jerusalem
Headline: "Jerusalem is capital of Arab civilization"

"[Jerusalem] is the religious, historical, cultural and scientific capital of the Palestinian people in particular, and of the Arab nation in general. It is the pinnacle of civilizations of the entire world. When the Arab Jebusite king Malkizedeq built the city of Jerusalem, naming it Jebus and designating it the capital of his country six thousand years ago, none of the world's capitals existed yet... The veteran families which lived in ancient Jerusalem... lived a life of culture and civilization in the full sense of the word, to the extent that other cities which arose thousands of years ago attempted to imitate Jerusalem, the unique wonder, but none of them succeeded in building [a city] like Jerusalem. This is Jerusalem, the city which is closer to God's royal throne than any other part of the globe...

Therefore the invaders [Israel/the Jews] desired it, despite its small area... because this is the place which the Creator blessed, along with its environs. The invaders [Israel/the Jews], who steal the city's geography, are trying to also steal its history."
[Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, April 14, 2011]

Official PA daily: Israel resorts to forgery to create evidence for Jewish history in Jerusalem
Headline: "Personalities living in Jerusalem: The occupation authorities (i.e., Israel) are forging the wall of Jerusalem by inserting stones engraved with a model of the alleged Temple"

"Respected Jerusalem bodies and personalities warned of suspicious forgery activities accompanying the extensive rehabilitation works which the occupation authorities [Israel] are carrying out... Chairman of the Jerusalem Association of NGO's, Hazem Gharabli, told WAFA...: 'What intensifies the concerns of Jerusalem bodies and individuals - even regular people - is the fact that the occupation authorities have completely covered the area where the rehabilitation works are being carried out, not allowing anyone to see which activities are actually going on there.

Their aim may be to remove original stones and to replace them with stones with Talmudic drawings or engravings, alluding to the existence of a Jewish heritage in the city.'... The Al-Aqsa Institute for Islamic Trusts and Heritage said that the Israeli occupation had replaced several stones from the wall with stones carrying Talmudic Jewish symbols, such as a stone with a model of the alleged Temple, and a stone with a Star of David."
[Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, April 13, 2011]

Deputy Minister of Culture: Israel steals Palestinian culture

"Deputy Minister of Culture, Musa Abu Ghreibeh, spoke about the role of his Ministry in reviving the Palestinian memory, especially in light of Israeli measures aimed at erasing this memory from the minds of Palestinians and specifically of the youth. He also noted with approval the role of the Eve Center (i.e., center for women's issues) in strengthening culture, resolve, and activity aimed at preventing the occupation from stealing Palestinian culture."

"les menaces des colons et de Tel Aviv sont entrées dans une phase particulièrement dangeureuse . l'effondrement des maisons arabes dans le vieux quartier, la construction des centres talmudiques au sud de la mosquée d'Al Aqssa sont tous des prélude à l'anéantissement de cette mosquée, a-t-il ajouté.

Sunday, July 29, 2012

Chana Ya'ari - Arutz Sheva

Knesset Member Professor Aryeh Eldad is proposing that Israel “cut up and move” the Al Aqsa mosque on the Temple Mount "when the third Temple will be built."

The MK, referred to the time of the Messiah, when the Third Holy Temple, or the Beit HaMikdash HaShlishi, as it is called in Hebrew, will be built, noting it would seem that the two structures could not exist in the same space, on the same site, at the same time.

During a march around the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem on the night of Tisha B'Av conducted by the Women in Green movement,
Eldad stood near the Lions' Gate and exhorted participants to “remember the destruction of the First and Second Temples.... the uprooting of [Jewish towns in] Gush Katif and northern Samaria.

"Even today there are attempts to destroy [Jewish] communities,” Eldad said. “This circling won't take us farther, but rather will bring us closer, closer to a solution to the heart of the problem regarding the sovereignty over the State of Israel, sovereignty over the Temple Mount.

VIDEO : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8VTDDk2UAE&feature=player_embedded

"We should not avoid it with any sort of judicial excuse, nor postpone it with a deal on building 100 homes instead of 10,” he added, making reference to the recent negotiations over the destruction of a neighborhood in the town of Beit El.

"We must discuss the core issues – not just talk, but rather, also act."

Eldad said much could be learned from the “problematic deal” signed recently regarding Givat Ha'Ulpana in Beit El. “It is that they decided there not to demolish the homes, but rather, to cut them in pieces,” he noted.

Part of the proposal advanced by the government in order to vacate land that Palestinian Authority Arabs claimed was privately owned was that the houses -- which would not be destroyed -- would be sawed into parts and then would be reassembled elsewhere, on another section of land owned by the military in the area of Beit El.

"Let us learn that even more so, this applies when the time comes to build the Holy Temple, and that will be soon. We will then cut up the structure which is there now,” he proposed.

“We will cut it up, and they can take it wherever they want – because that is where the Third Holy Temple should and will stand – speedily in our days!”

Zevulun Orlev advocates a Basic Law to protect project from prosecution and ‘hostile, left-wing, secular media’

MK Zevulun Orlev of the Jewish Home party has called for massive reforms, including new Basic Laws, in order to establish a Third Temple in Jerusalem.

In an article (PDF) published in advance of the fast of Tisha B’Av in the weekly Hebrew journal Olam Katan, entitled “Internal and Legislative Reform,” Orlev wrote that the Temple must be rebuilt in Jerusalem and that “fundamental changes” to Israeli society and government were necessary in order to realize the success of the project.

Besides spiritual reform and the creation of a cadre of religious experts capable of running the Temple, Orlev argued that the government — “assuming the government will choose to be democratic” — must turn back dissent surrounding the project.

“It will be necessary to defeat no-confidence motions, to overcome the hostile, left-wing, secular media, and to ignore eye-rolling economists who will say it’s a waste of public funds,” he wrote.

To forestall appeals to the High Court of Justice, Orlev advocated the legislation of a new Basic Law that would guarantee funding and manpower and protect the Third Temple from prosecution.

“The law will also protect the [Third Temple] project from accusations of discrimination, inequality of women in the Temple service, and animal cruelty in the offering of sacrifices,” Orlev continued.

Orlev acknowledged that to remove the ”religious and political impediment” to his plan, namely the presence of the al-Aqsa Mosque and Dome of the Rock atop the Temple Mount, would mean that the “billion-strong Muslim world would surely launch a world war.” However, he added, “everything political is temporary and there is no stability,” and ”Of late we’re witnessed dramatic political changed that have occurred in many Arab countries.”

Orlev recently advocated a bill to bypass the High Court of Justice and protect illegally constructed buildings in the Beit El neighborhood of Givat Ulpana that was struck down by the Knesset in June.

Tune in to this week's Temple Talk, as Rabbi Chaim Richman and Yitzchak Reuven prepare for the beloved holiday of Tu B'Av: "You have transformed my lament into dancing for me, You undid my sackcloth and girded me with gladness" (Psalms 30). This verse beautifully describes the theme of this week, as the nation of Israel moves from the mourning of Tisha B'Av, to the joyous, widely-misunderstood holiday of Tu B'Av, the fifteenth day of Av, the holiday of love. What a cycle: from pain to joy, from destruction to hope. This is the quintessential Jewish idea!

This week's Temple Talk explores the dimensions and inner message of this Temple-centered 'minor' holiday, celebrated in contemporary Israel as a love-fest. Yitzchak Reuven and Rabbi Richman discover that Tu B'Av has a glorious past, and is a bridge to the future... to the building of the Third Temple.

Our hosts summarize the lessons of this year's Tisha B'Av season, including a disappointing denial of Jewish access to the Temple Mount on that most spiritually important day. But the Jewish people - and more importantly, the children - are ready. Tune in for an inside look at the joy and excitement in the Jewish world generated by the Temple Institute's viral video hit, "The Children are Ready..." and (Oh, Morsi Me! Hamas's Children Have a Day at the Beach), the controversy the short clip caused in the Arab world, which is up in arms over... what, exactly?

Oh, Morsi Me! Hamas’ Children Have a Day at the Beach
Tisha B’Av to Tu B’Av, From Mourning to Dance: On the Way to the Third Temple

“You have transformed my lament into dancing for me, You undid my sackcloth and girded me with gladness” (Psalms 30). This verse beautifully describes the theme of this week, as the nation of Israel moves from the mourning of Tisha B’Av, to the joyous, widely-misunderstood holiday of Tu B’Av, the fifteenth day of Av, the holiday of love. What a cycle: from pain to joy, from destruction to hope. This is the quintessential Jewish idea! This week’s Temple Talk explores the dimensions and inner message of this Temple-centered ‘minor’ holiday, celebrated in contemporary Israel as a love-fest. Yitzchak Reuven and Rabbi Richman discover that Tu B’Av has a glorious past, and is a bridge to the future… to the building of the Third Temple.

Our hosts summarize the lessons of this year’s Tisha B’Av season, including a disappointing denial of Jewish access to the Temple Mount on that most spiritually important day. But the Jewish people – and more importantly, the children – are ready. Tune in for an inside look at the joy and excitement in the Jewish world generated by the Temple Institute’s viral video hit, “The Children are Ready…” and the controversy the short clip caused in the Arab world, which is up in arms over… what, exactly? A Temple Talk you will not want to miss!

Your Editor has received a most beautiful picture of Jerusalem with its wicked Temple Mount Mosques denying the deity of the Risen Lord Jesus Christ.

Remember, written on the Dome of the Rock/Mosque of Omar, it states in Arabic “God has no Son!” It is these two mosques that must be destroyed in order for the Third Temple to be built for the final pope of Rome, murdered and risen from the dead to be the Antichrist/Man-Beast. Hence, this unfolding American Crusade into the Middle East led by the American branch of the Knights of Malta is in fact Rome’s 12th Crusade against the Islamic peoples. This Crusade will include the destruction of the Temple Mount mosques which, according to prophecy, must be accomplished that the Hebrew Temple of Matthew 24:15, Daniel 9:27, II Thessalonians 2:1-4 and Revelation 11:1-2 may be built.

By Gabriel Stargardter | Reuters – 2 hours 46 minutes ago

  • A man takes part in a traditional spiritual ceremony during the Mayan Culture Festival …
CHICHEN ITZA, Mexico (Reuters) - A few words by an American scholar, a crumbling Mexican monument and the love of a good yarn were all it took to spawn the belief that the world could end this week.

December 21 marks the end of an age in a 5,125 year-old Maya calendar, an event that is variously interpreted as the end of days, the start of a new era or just a good excuse for a party.

Thousands of New Age mystics, spiritual adventurers and canny businessmen are converging on ancient ruins in southern Mexico and Guatemala to find out what will happen.

"No one knows what it will look like on the other side," said Michael DiMartino, 46, a long-haired American who is organizing one of the biggest December 21 celebrations at the Maya temple site of Chichen Itza on the Yucatan peninsula.

It is not the world but "the way we perceive it" that will end, said DiMartino, who pledged his event at ground zero for 2012 acolytes will be a "distilling down of various perspectives into a unified intention for positive transformation, evolution and co-creation of a new way of being."

A mash-up of academic speculation and existential angst seasoned with elements from several world religions, the 2012 phenomenon has been fueled by Hollywood movies and computer games, and relentlessly disseminated by Internet doom-mongers.

Mass hysteria in a Russian prison, a Chinese man building survival pods for doomsday and UFO lovers seeking refuge with aliens in a French mountain village are just some of the reports that have sprung up in the final countdown to December 21.

Robert Bast, a New Zealander living in Melbourne who wrote a book called "Survive 2012" on how to cope with the possible catastrophe, believes the Maya may have sent out a warning.

"The most likely thing for me is a solar storm, but that's not going to kill you straight away. It's more of a long term disaster," said Bast, 47, noting a flu pandemic could also strike the planet. "I feel the world isn't as safe as we think it is. The last couple of generations have had it very cosy."

When dawn breaks on Friday, according to the Maya Long Count calendar, it marks the end of the 13th bak'tun - an epoch lasting some 400 years - and the beginning of the 14th.

This fact would probably have languished in academic obscurity had not a young Maya expert named Michael Coe written in the 1960s that to the ancient Mesoamerican culture the date could herald an "Armageddon" to cleanse humanity.

Since then, the cult of 2012 has snowballed.

Among the sun-bleached pyramids, shaded mangroves and deep cenotes of the Maya heartland, there are hopes December 21 will bring a spiritual re-birth.

Nobody seems quite sure what to expect on Friday, but it has not stopped people getting their hopes up.

"This is the Arab Spring of the spiritual movement," said Geoffrey Ocean Dreyer, a 52-year-old U.S. musician wearing a sombrero and mardi gras beads. "We're going to create WORLD PEACE. We're going to JERUSALEM and we're going to REBUILD SOLOMON'S TEMPLE."

The words of Coe, a highly respected Maya scholar, were published in 1966 at the height of the Cold War, stirring fears in a world haunted by the prospect of nuclear holocaust.

Coe could not be reached for comment for this article, but friends and academics who know him insist he never meant to inspire a vision of apocalypse when he committed them to paper.

Stephen Houston, a Maya expert at Brown University in Rhode Island and student of Coe's, said too much has been read into the end of the 13th bak'tun, which was little more than a "dull mathematical declaration" used to bracket dates.

"I see it all as an expression of present day anxiety and not much more than that," Houston said.

Few remaining inscriptions refer to the event, and the best known one is part of a monument recovered from a Maya site in Tabasco state called Tortuguero - much of which was torn down in the 1960s to make way for the construction of a cement factory.

Still, the mix of religion, ancient inscriptions and media-driven speculation about impending doom remains potent.

"I got an email the other day from a mother who was contemplating taking her own life, because she didn't know what was really going to happen, she didn't want her children to live through this ordeal," said David Stuart, a Maya expert at the University of Texas. "We can dismiss it as a kooky idea, which it is, but they're still ideas and they still have power."

U.S. space agency NASA has sought to allay fears of impending catastrophe, noting that "our planet has been getting along just fine for more than 4 billion years, and credible scientists worldwide know of no threat associated with 2012."

Nothing has given the 2012 theories more oxygen in the run-up to the big day than the Internet, noted John Hoopes, a Maya anthropologist at the University of Kansas.

"Computers come straight out of the same people who were smoking pot and protesting at Berkeley and Stanford," he said, referring to U.S. student movements in the 1960s.

"This Maya calendar stuff has been part of hacktivism lore for 40 years, since the beginning, and with every significant change in computer technology, it's gotten another boost."

Many of those gathering in Chichen Itza praised the Internet as a discussion forum and organizing tool for New Age events.

"We don't need leaders now we have the Internet," said Muggy Burton, 66, who had traveled to Mexico from Canada with her 15-year-old, blue-haired granddaughter, Talis Hardy.

The two, who communicate with each other by whistling, plan to live in Mexico for six months, according to Burton, who is going to homeschool Hardy. "It's the end of the world for her, and the beginning of a new one," she added.

Mexico's federal government is not officially marking the phenomenon, but the country's tourism agency has launched a "Mundo Maya 2012" website with a countdown to December 21.

Up to 200,000 people are expected to descend on Chichen Itza alone for the night of December 20.

Among modern descendants of the Maya, the idea it could all come to an end on Friday generally raises a wry smile - but they are happy to play along if it makes money.

"It's a psychic epidemic," said Miguel Coral, 56, a cigar salesman in Merida, a colonial town and capital of Yucatan state. "It's all about business, but that's fine. It helps our country. I think it's excellent we've exported this idea."

Nearby, workers built a pyramid of spray-painted polystyrene blocks for the opening of the town's Maya festival.

"If people who believe in this joke want to come, let them," said Jose May, a Merida tourism official of Maya descent. "Nobody here believes that. Those people were sold an idea."

Hazy rumors have helped feed the sense of anticipation.

A few hours' drive south of Merida in the remote Maya town of Xul, which means "the end," media reports began circulating as early as 2008 that a group of Italians were readying themselves for impending doom by building apocalypse-proof bunkers.

Today, the settlement dubbed the "end of the world resort" is open for business as "Eco Spa Las Aguilas."

"There's no truth in it," said deputy manager Andrea Podesta, 45, referring to speculation it was a cult.

"Some people came here, took some hidden photos, and published some very unpleasant articles about us," he added, noting the glistening new spa was booked up well into 2013.

Inside, a group of elderly Italians, mostly dressed in white, were watching the path of an asteroid on a giant screen. A black-and-white image of Christ's face hung from the wall and a large stone statue of a robed woman greeted visitors.

Whatever lies in store for the planet, even Maya academics who have fought to play down the hype surrounding the passing of another 24 hours feel there could still be some surprises.

"I think there may be some mischief on December 21 because the whole world is watching," said Hoopes in Kansas, citing rumors hacktivist group Anonymous was planning a stunt. "It's a very fertile opportunity for a tremendous prank."

Crusade of Rome, via the Templars to liberate Jerusalem from the Muslims who now consider Jerusalem as their own. I must confess that one, I didn't see coming. But when we look at the prophecies about the return of Jesus who will liberate Jerusalem and the Jewish people, we can see that Rome is trying to copy exactly the prophecy concerning the great battle of the end times. The universal Church who consider herself to be the only true church of Jesus Christ is in fact the same Babylonian church who worship the sun god Lucifer.

Remember that muslim brotherhood and many muslim organizations are working closely with the World Council of Churches and the Pope under INTERRELIGIOUS DIALOGUE and UN/human rights. So we can see that this crusade and the destruction of the Palestinian peoples to liberate Jerusalem is at the top of their agenda during the time Jihad will escalate in the world to destroy nations for the Pope.

Bringing the Awesome World of the Holy Temple to an Unprecedented Level of Understanding

The Temple Institute is delighted to announce that after twenty five years of introducing visitors the world over to the sacred vessels of the Holy Temple and the dream, along with the practical measures being taken for rebuilding the Holy Temple, our headquarters will be moving in early 2013 to a new, expanded facility, which will include a brand new Visitors Center. Just a few hundred meters from our current location the new center will be located just above the Yehudah HaLevy stairs which lead from Jerusalem's Old City Jewish Quarter down to the Western Wall Plaza facing the Temple Mount. The new exhibition will include a highly advanced, state of the art presentation of the Temple-ready sacred vessels created by the Institute, garments of the High Priest, oil-paintings depicting aspects of the Divine service of the Holy Temple and model of the Holy Temple Complex. Visitors will also be able to see a scaled-down stone altar, made in accordance with Torah law, transportable and completely ready for use on the Temple Mount.
Additionly, the new center, three times the size of the Institute's current location, will also afford guests the opportunity to view all new video productions describing the history of the Holy Temple, its role in the prophetic time in which we are living and our role as members of the human race who seek the rebuilding of the Holy Temple and the fulfillment of the words of Isaiah: "For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations." (Isaiah 56:7)
The new center will also include a spacious gift shop. The entire exhibit and gift shop will have wheel chair accessibility.
Below are an architectural blueprint, a bird's-eye depiction of the new center, and maps showing the new location.

Dedication opportunities are available and your support for this new stage of the Institute’s program towards the rebuilding of the Holy Temple is greatly appreciated.

A Jordanian minister accused Israel on Wednesday of planning to partition the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in Jerusalem and the Temple Mount plaza surrounding it in order to erect the third Temple.

Islamic Endowments Minister Abdul Salam Abadi told a visiting clerical delegation from Australia that he received instructions from the “Hashemite leadership” to safeguard the Arab and Islamic identity of Jerusalem, Jordanian media reported.

Abadi said Israel was planning to divide the mosque from its courtyards with a 144-dunam structure.

Jordan, which extended its sovereignty to East Jerusalem and the West Bank in 1950, continues to administer the Islamic holy sites on the Temple Mount. Abadi told the Australian delegation that his ministry employs 600 civil servants in Jerusalem and oversees 40 Jerusalem schools.

According to the independent Jordanian daily Al-Ghad, Abadi stressed the need to support the residents of Jerusalem “in their steadfastness in the face of the repeated Israeli attacks on the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Islamic holy sites in Jerusalem.”

He did not expand on what he meant.

Jordan and Israel signed a peace agreement in 1994.

Jews are banned from praying on the Temple Mount by the Jordanian department of endowments, known as the Waqf, which administers the plaza surrounding the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock.
