LE LIBAN RECOIT MUNITIONS ET ARTILLERIE DES ETATS-UNIS

ENGLISH :
Lebanon receives US artillery, ammunition: embassy
http://www.spacewar.com/reports/Lebanon_receives_US_artillery_ammunition_embassy_999.html

US and his commandant in chief Obama, who's behind the creation of ISIS with the CIA and Rome, has begun their global war with Syria and Irak. After, they will go in each country with their "peace" islamic and nazi coalition to destroy each country and Israel. This is the false Armaguedon to bring on the global scene the man of peace, the Antichrist Obama.

by Staff Writers
Munich, Germany (AFP) Feb 8, 2015

An international coalition battling against Islamic militants in Iraq and Syria is beginning to win back territory and deprive the jihadists of key funds, US top diplomat John Kerry said Sunday as he denounced the group's "new level of depravity".

Washington has rallied more than 60 countries in the fight against the Islamic State group, and while Kerry told a global security conference it would be a long battle, he said there were signs the strategy was working.

Since August there have been 2,000 air strikes by the coalition, Kerry told the Munich Security Conference, saying it had helped to retake some 700 square kilometres in territory, or "one-fifth of the area they had in their control."

The US secretary of state did not specify whether the regained territory was in Iraq or Syria, but he added the coalition had "deprived the militants of the use of 200 oil and gas facilities ... disrupted their command structure.... squeezed its finance and dispersed its personnel."

"We are forcing them to change tactics," Kerry insisted, pointing to the defeat of IS in the Syrian Kurdish town of Kobane.

"Together we drove Daesh out," he said, using the group's Arabic name.

"They expected an easy victory, the media was predicting an easy victory ... instead after a costly battle in which they lost roughly a thousand of their fighters they were forced to openly acknowledge defeat."

The coalition has been spurred to boost its action following the murder of a captured Jordanian pilot, who was said to have been burned alive in an iron cage, in an action which Kerry called "a new level of depravity."

Referring also to the December massacre of the children in a Peshawar school, in Pakistan, Kerry said: "Let me be clear, there are no grounds of history, ideology, psychology, politics, economics advantage or disadvantage or personal ambition that justify the murder of children, the kidnapping and rape of teenage girls, or the slaughter of unarmed civilians.

"These atrocities can never be rationalized. They can never be excused, they must be opposed with every fibre of our being. And they must be stopped."

From the Sahel in western Africa, to Boko Haram in Nigeria as well as the militants in Iraq and Syria, Kerry said that "against this enemy, make no mistake, we are increasingly organizing and fighting back effectively. The world cannot and will not cower in the face of this extremism."

OBAMA REJECTED JORDANIAN KING ABDULLAH'S PLEAS FOR PREDATOR DRONES

Connect the dots.

1. UPF STATEMENT ON INTERRELIGIOUS DIALOGUE
http://www.upf.org/interfaith-programs/3166-upf-statement-on-interfaith-dia…
King Abdullah II is just part of this global crusade war game. Obama, the commander in chief of the muslim brotherhood (the antichrist), the Pope of Rome (Jesuit black/white pope) and King Abdullah II who create the interreligious dialogue are all one in this game.

2. WHO IS ISIS REALLY? PROOF YOU’RE NOT GOING TO BELIEVE

3. KERRY : THE ANTI-ISIS COALITION IS STRONG

4. EXCLUSIF - EN 1996, TOUS LES PAYS ARABES ONT RATIFIE LA CHARIA!
(In 1996, all arab states all agree and ratifying for the sharia), so even if they all saying that  "WHY ISIS IS NOT, IN FACT, ISLAMIC" , you can see they're just lying, because they all sign for this global agenda.

5. "And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword."
Revelation 6:4

6. If Obama denied the request for drones, it's because they want you, your children, your grandchildren  on the ground. Part of the chess game to depopulate the earth. During this time other nazi groups will be in your town to destroy or to enslave your loved ones. And they will force peoples to join the battle by the civil military service or rebel groups will force peoples to join them, arguing that if you don't join them, you're an traitor, an infidel or a collaborator of the other side and as we can see, they kill these peoples. So you need to be under the complete protection of the God Almighty if you want to be protect. There's no other way. Obey only to Him, asking for His direction and protection for you and your family. These global "Peace coalition" is very evil. They want to force us to play their game. If you're not on the side of "Je suis Charlie", they now consider us as a terrorist. We are now enter in a very dark world, and all these evil forces are unite to bring the final chaos and Lucifer as the king of this earth. Repent, pray and be on your guard!

MQ-9 Reaper drone fires a missile.

Jordan was the second Arab state to sign a peace treaty with Israel, in 1994, a pact that is not considered precarious barring drastic regime change in Jordan.
The U.S. has provided Jordan with F-16 Falcon fighter jets and other advanced weapons.

Mr. Hunter’s district is in the San Diego area, home to Predator maker General Atomics.

Sen. John McCain, Arizona Republican and Senate Armed Services Committee chairman, told CNN on Wednesday that King Abdullah, who met with senators while in Washington, is frustrated by a “huge bureaucratic bottleneck in the State Department.”

“He needs some types of weapons very badly,” Mr. McCain said. “We’ll be working immediately to try and achieve that for him.”

The issue of Jordanian frustration with the speed of U.S. weapons deliveries came up during Wednesday’s confirmation hearings for Defense Secretary-designate Ashton Carter.

All 26 members of Mr. McCain’s committee sent a letter on Wednesday to Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel and to Mr. Kerry asking them to speed up arms shipments to Jordan.

Jordan is seeking to obtain aircraft parts, additional night vision equipment and precision munitions that the King feels he needs to secure his border and robustly execute combat air missions into Syria,” the senators wrote. “We understand the need to ensure the integrity of third party transfers, the protection of critical U.S. technologies, and our commitment to the maintenance of a Qualitative Military Edge (QME) for Israel.

“However,” the senate panel continued, “Jordan’s situation and the cohesiveness of the coalition demands we move with speed to ensure they receive the military materiel they require for ongoing operations against ISIL.”

Jordan’s King Abdullah II has vowed to launch war on the Islamic State, saying Wednesday that “the blood of martyr [Lt.] Muath al-Kaseasbeh will not be in vain, and the response of Jordan and its army after what happened to our dear son will be severe.”

On Thursday, dozens of Jordanian F-16s carried out strikes on targets around Raqqa, the Islamic State’s self-styled capital, and even spread its attacks into Islamic State-held targets in Iraq.

Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh told Fox News that Jordan was still mostly hitting Islamic State targets in Syria as part of a U.S.-led military coalition, but was now spreading its involvement.

“We said we are going to take this all the way, we are going to go after [the Islamic State] wherever they are, and we’re doing that,” he said. “They’re in Iraq and they are in Syria, and therefore you have to target them wherever they are.”

According to The Associated Press in Amman, Jordanian state TV showed fighter jets taking off from an air base and large balls of fire and smoke after bombs had fallen. Jordanian troops scribbled chalk messages on the missiles, with one reading “for you, the enemies of Islam.”

Abdullah paid a condolence visit to the family of Lt. al-Kaseasbeh on Thursday and was sitting next to the pilot’s father, Safi al-Kaseasbeh, as fighter jets roared overhead. The king pointed upward.

The official Facebook page of The Royal Hashemite Court made it personal as well this week. In an image that has since gone viral, the Court posted a picture of Abdullah in military fatigues, and noted that he’d cut short his U.S. visit in response to the pilot’s death.

According to Mr. Hunter, Abdullah quoted a line from Clint Eastwood’s revenge Western “Unforgiven” at a meeting with U.S. Congress members Tuesday after the news of the burning death had broken.

While the Jordanian government has denied Abdullah would take part in actual attacks, he has been called the “warrior king” due to his decades of military service. Like his father and predecessor, King Hussein, Abdullah enrolled in the U.K.’s Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst. The current king has been a pilot for Cobra attack helicopters.

For its part, the Islamic State has signaled that its fire execution will not be its last, according to translations of its official Twitter account by the Middle East Media Research Institute.

After Jordanian Air Force Lt. Muath al-Kaseasbeh was set on fire while caged, the Islamic State’s “Fatwa and Research Authority” called such burnings “completely permissible” under Muslim law in a series of theological discussions and accounts of Muslim history and scholarship, including the actions of Muhammad.
According to MEMRI, the Islamic State deemed Lt. al-Kaseasbeh a non-Muslim or apostate, and noted that Muslim schools of jurisprudence have interpreted loosely the apparent Koranic prohibition on “burning an infidel with fire until he dies.”

“The Hanafi and Shafi’i schools hold that burning is completely permissible. They interpreted the saying of the Prophet that ‘Only Allah shall torture with fire’ as [a call for] humility. [The scholar] Al-Muhallab said: ‘This ban is not [an actual] prohibition, but rather a means for [advocating] humility.’

“[Shafi’i scholar] Ibn Hajar, may Allah have mercy on him, said: ‘[This saying] indicates that it is permissible to burn, as the Companions did. The Prophet blinded two men from ‘Arina [whom he judged to be apostates and criminals] with a branding iron. Khalid bin Al-Walid, [one of the Prophet’s Companions], also burned apostates with fire.’”

Douglas Ernst contributed to this article, which is based in part on wire service reports from the Middle East.

RUSSIA BEGINS MILITARY EXERCISES IN CRIMEA ONE DAY BEFORE MINSK SUMMIT

Over 600 Russian troops have been deployed to military exercises in the Crimea, the official Russian RIA news agency reported today (Tuesday). This is just one day prior to the meeting in Minsk between Ukrainian, Russian, French and German leaders where they will discuss ways to end the conflict in the eastern Ukraine, Reuters reports.

According to the RIA, the Russian Black Sea Fleet announced they were using approximately 50 units of weaponry in the exercises, which have begun with coastal defense units in the region.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russia’s Strategic Missile Forces have begun wide-range exercises in 12 regions in the country, the Russian Defense Ministry said Thursday.

“Russia’s SMF with more than 30 missile battalions in 12 regions in Russia (from the Tver to the Irkustsk regions) are taking part in drills. There are both mobile and stationary SMF groups participating,” the ministry said in a statement.

The war games are meant to test the troops' combat readiness, drill maneuver operations on patrol routes, actions to counter subversive and terrorist acts, as well as high-precision strikes, the defense ministry said.

The drills will involve Engineer Troops and Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defense Troops, who will respond to a mock enemy attack close to patrol routes.

On Tuesday, the Russian Pacific Ocean Fleet began week-long snap drills off the far eastern Kamchatka coast.

Russia's Strategic Missile Forces are the arm of the country's Armed Forces and the main component of it's strategic nuclear forces. Their main goals include nuclear deterrence of a possible aggression and the defeat of possible enemy's strategic objects of military and economic potential by means of nuclear missile attacks.

JORDAN MOVES THOUSANDS OF TROOPS TO IRAQ BORDER IN ISIS FIGHT

Tuesday, 10 Feb 2015 09:13 AM
By Newsmax Wires

Jordan has amassed "thousands" of troops at its border with Iraq even as the campaign to defeat ISIS grows, according to government officials.

Jordan's troops are prevent ISIS fighters from moving into Jordan but also as a show of force, according to NBC News, which quoted government officials under condition of anonymity.

Following the burning alive of a Jordanian pilot held captive by ISIS militants, Jordan King Abdullah warned it would avenge his death and crush ISIS' campaign of terror "because this terrorist organization is not only fighting us, but also fighting Islam and its pure values."

The United Arab Emirates also Tuesday launched airstrikes Tuesday against the Islamic State from an air base in Jordan, marking its return to combat operations against the militants after it halted flights late last year.

The General Command of the UAE Armed Forces said Emirati F-16s carried out a series of strikes Tuesday morning, according to a brief statement carried by the Gulf nation's official WAM news agency.

The US also has carried out over a dozen strikes over the past 24 hours, officials said.

The Emirates, an oil-rich federation that includes Abu Dhabi and Dubai, is one of the most prominent Arab members of the U.S.-led coalition against the Islamic State group.

American officials say the country halted airstrikes in December after a Jordanian pilot, Lt. Muath al-Kaseasbeh, was captured when his plane crashed behind enemy lines. Al-Kaseasbeh was later burned alive by the militants.

The Emirates had not commented on the suspension, and Tuesday's statement was the first confirmation it had restarted combat operations. It has continued to provide logistical support to the campaign by hosting coalition warplanes at its air bases on the southern rim of the Persian Gulf.

Its return to the fight came days after it ordered the deployment of a squadron of F-16s to Jordan, a close ally of both the United States and the Emirates that has pledged harsh retaliation for the gruesome killing of its pilot.

Previous Emirati airstrikes had been in Syria, making that the most likely site of its latest targets.

American defense officials last week said they moved search-and-rescue aircraft closer to the battlefield, helping ease allies' concerns about the coalition's ability to aid downed aircrews.

The Emirati announcement came as Syria's President Bashar Assad said in comments published Tuesday that his government has been receiving general messages from the American military about airstrikes targeting the Islamic State group inside Syria but that there is no direct cooperation.

In an interview with the BBC, Assad said the messages are conveyed through third parties, such as Iraq.

"Sometimes they convey message, general message, but there's nothing tactical," he said.

American and allied Arab planes have been conducting airstrikes in Syria as part of an international campaign against Islamic State extremists. They share the skies with Assad's air force, which also targets the militants.

Syrian officials have maintained that they have not been consulted about the airstrikes since they started in September — only informed through third parties in the beginning.

In the interview, Assad also denied his forces have used barrel bombs. The government's use of the crude explosive devices, usually dropped by helicopters, has been widely documented by international human rights organizations and residents of opposition-held areas in Syria. The barrel bombs, which cannot be precisely targeted, have killed thousands of civilians, according to Syrian activists.

"I know about the army, they use bullets, missiles, and bombs. I haven't heard of the army using barrels, or maybe, cooking pots," Assad said, apparently making light of the allegations.

Pressed again about their use, he replied: "They're called bombs. ... There are no barrel bombs; we don't have barrels."

PEARL HARBOR (NNS) -- Senior military leaders from 14 nations gathered at U.S. Pacific Fleet (PACFLT) headquarters here in Hawaii for the Naval War College Combined Force Maritime Component Commander (CFMCC) Flag Officer Course Feb. 5-11.

The 27 CFMCC participants came from Australia, Bangladesh, Canada, Chile, France, India, Indonesia, Japan, Peru, Republic of the Philippines, Republic of Korea, Singapore, Sri Lanka, and the United States.

"This course is one of the most important international venues the U.S. Navy hosts and directly supports our strategic rebalance to the Indo-Asia-Pacific," said Adm. Harry B. Harris Jr., commander of U.S. Pacific Fleet. "It provides big and realizable dividends for all participating nations by strengthening regional partnerships and improving operational effectiveness to address our common maritime challenges. The juice is well worth the squeeze."

Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) Adm. Jonathan Greenert told CFMCC participants, "This is a unique situation; they didn't have such a thing when I was coming up. Grasp this opportunity," said Greenert, who stopped in Hawaii on his way to visit Australia and New Zealand. "The fellowship that you will start developing here enables us and other countries to get aligned. Personal relations make it happen. You will never have enough resources like this again."

The Naval War College facilitated the weeklong course, and this was the ninth annual CFMCC hosted by PACFLT since 2007.

"With the U.S. Navy presence in the Asian maritime theater, it is important to have CFMCC at PACFLT," said retired Vice Adm. Yoji Koda, a facilitator from the Naval War College and former commander in chief of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force Fleet. "It is essential to give the countries aligned with the U.S. a better understanding of how PACFLT conducts business."

The participants heard lectures on maritime security and took part in open-forum panel discussions facilitated by subject-matter experts to foster a better understanding of the various perspectives involved in a combined force.

"It's an honor to be here at CFMCC. This is a good opportunity to make friends with all the countries here," said Rear Adm. Young-suk Kim, Republic of Korea Navy, deputy commander Republic of Korea First Fleet. "This is also a great opportunity to better understand PACFLT and the U.S. Navy, its history at Pearl Harbor and how huge it is."

Rear Adm. Lisa Franchetti, commander of U.S. Naval Forces Korea, echoed Kim's sentiments.

"CFMCC gives us the opportunity to build personal relationships with our partners, improve cooperation across the theater, and learn from the experience of the senior facilitators," Franchetti said. "The course provides great exposure to senior leader views, such as the CNO, PACFLT commander and Marine Forces Pacific commander. We also get to hear the partners and facilitator's perspectives on the Indo-Asia-Pacific and their thoughts on how to effectively organize for a combined operation."

The value of these cooperative relationships has been proven in recent months when the U.S. Navy operates with partners and allies during disasters such as responding to Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines or in the search for missing airliners.

GEORGE H.W. BUSH CONDUCTS TRAINING EXERCISES

Story Number: NNS150211-04Release Date: 2/11/2015 10:35:00 AM

By Mass Communication Specialist 3rd Class Patrick Ian Crimmins, USS George H.W. Bush Public Affairs

NORFOLK (NNS) -- The aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77) departed its homeport of Norfolk to undergo various carrier qualification (CQ) operations in the Atlantic Ocean, Feb 10.

"CQs are primarily to help train new pilots," said Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Equipment) 1st Class Dwayne Williams, currently stationed on board George H. W. Bush. "We'll be training new pilots for carrier-based launches and recoveries."

The underway will include various shipboard training evolutions for each department. George H.W. Bush will also be receiving multiple air crews to conduct flight operations.

"CQs are an important mission that is often underappreciated," said Chief Operations Specialist Jermaine Moore. "It's vital to the Navy's mission readiness as it is geared toward new pilots, and periodically for experienced pilots, to achieve and maintain superior carrier landing proficiency levels."

George H.W. Bush recently returned from a nine-month deployment to the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of responsibility and is currently underway conducting training exercises in the Atlantic Ocean.

SECNAV CENSURES THREE SENIOR OFFICERS

Story Number: NNS150210-22Release Date: 2/10/2015 6:25:00 PM

By Secretary of the Navy Public Affairs

WASHINGTON (NNS) -- Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus has issued Secretarial Letters of Censure to three senior officers following a thorough review into their interactions with Glenn Defense Marine Asia (GDMA) in the 2006-2007 timeframe. GDMA is the subject of a federal fraud and bribery investigation which was initiated by the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS).

Mabus directed the appointment of a Consolidated Disposition Authority in March 2014 to act as an independent authority to review GDMA cases forwarded by the Department of Justice to the Navy for administrative action. The purpose of the CDA, in this case headed by Admiral John Richardson, is to ensure that individuals are held appropriately accountable when less than criminal allegations are substantiated.

"All Navy officers, particularly our senior leadership in positions of unique trust and responsibility, must uphold and be held to the highest standards of personal and professional behavior. After reviewing the findings and recommendations of the CDA, I decided that these three officers, whose actions were revealed during the GDMA investigation demonstrated poor judgment and a failure of leadership in prior tours," said Mabus.

To document their leadership failure, Mabus issued Secretarial Letters of Censure to:

o Rear Adm. Michael Miller, then-Commander, Carrier Strike Group 7 embarked on USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Miller is currently serving as a special assistant to the Superintendent of the U.S. Naval Academy.

o Rear Adm. Terry Kraft, then-Commanding Officer, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Kraft is currently serving as Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Japan and Commander, Navy Region Japan.

o Rear Adm. David Pimpo, then-supply officer of USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Pimpo is currently serving as Commander, Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Weapon Systems Support.

Kraft and Pimpo have since submitted requests to retire. The Navy will now process these two retirement requests and the previously submitted retirement request from Miller.

"Censure was both necessary and appropriate," said Mabus. "I have now received the retirement requests of all three officers, and we will process them appropriately."

These three officers were found to have improperly accepted gifts from a prohibited source, two were found to have improperly endorsed a commercial business, and one engaged in solicitation of gifts and services from a prohibited source, when they were deployed to the Seventh Fleet area of responsibility during the 2006-2007 timeframe.

The review concluded that these officers violated the Standards of Ethical Conduct, U.S. Navy Regulations, and/or the Joint Ethics Regulation, demonstrating poor judgment and a failure of leadership. More specifically, the review concluded that the solicitation and acceptance of these gifts as well as the inappropriately familiar relationship with Mr. Leonard Glenn Francis, President and Chief Executive Officer of GDMA, cultivated an unacceptable ethical climate within the respective commands.

Kraft will be replaced by Rear Adm. Matthew J. Carter and Pimpo will be replaced by Rear Adm. Paul J. Verrastro.

The GDMA investigation continues by NCIS and the Defense Criminal Investigative Service (DCIS). The United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of California in San Diego and the Department of Justice Criminal Division in Washington, D.C. are leading the prosecution. It is anticipated that they will refer additional cases to the Navy for review and disposition. The Navy will review these matters and take appropriate action. The time of completion is unknown, but it is expected that this process will continue for some time.

MARINES ORDERED TO DESTROY WEAPONS WHILE FLEEING US EMBASSY IN YEMEN ; OBAMA BROADCASTS EVERYTHING HE'S NOT GOING TO DO AGAINST ISIS

Written by Allen West on February 12, 2015

Photo: Yahya Arhab/EPA

I remember watching cowboy and Indian movies when I was a little kid and the Indians would say something like, “White man speak with forked tongue.” Yesterday President Obama delivered another statement on his “strategy” for ISIS and all I could think about is “black man in White House speak with forked tongue.”

The analogy is with a snake (never a complement) and means to deliberately mislead – saying one thing, and meaning another. As Obama was delivering his weak message — which we heard back in August last year to which I responded here — there were individuals from his own administration contradicting his words.

President Obama said ISIS morale is low? Hmm, doesn’t seem that way to most of us. And just so you all know, there is only one time in U.S. military history when air power defeated an enemy. That was in the Pacific theater of operations when two bombs were dropped – on Nagasaki and Hiroshima.

I recall countless bombings during the Vietnam War — Linebacker I and II – and I don’t think we defeated Ho Chi Minh, the Viet Cong, or the NVA. As a young captain during Desert Shield and Storm, I watched the skies as a real air armada and campaign was waged — I mean hundreds of sorties (flights) a day. But against ISIS we are averaging around six.

So Obama came out sounding tough and once again told the enemy what he was NOT going to do and what this is NOT going to be. And he also told the enemy that we’re just going to do this for three years — and then I guess we’ll just quit and go home. What a coincidence, Obama is only around for two more years.

Back in August we were told ISIS would be degraded, defeated, and destroyed — yeah, right. President Obama is “banning” any enduring offensive ground operations. What in the Sam Hill does that mean?

However, as Obama was speaking there was a revelation emanating out of Yemen — remember, that strategic success story – which is utterly disturbing.

As reported by the Business Insider, “Armed Houthi rebels in the Yemeni capital Sanaa seized US embassy vehicles after the ambassador and diplomats left the country on Wednesday, local members of embassy staff told Reuters.

“The employees said that more than 20 vehicles were taken by the fighters after the Americans departed from Sanaa’s airport. Yemen-based analyst Haykal Bafana tweeted that US personnel surrendered 30 vehicles to Houthi militants. CNN is reporting that Houthi militants took “all US Embassy vehicles” parked at Sanaa’s airport as US personnel left the country and confiscated weapons from departing US Marines. If this is true, then forbidding American embassy security to travel with their weapons represents a major breach of diplomatic protocol on the part of Houthi rebels, who are now one of the country’s dominant political forces after the fall of Yemen’s government last week.”

The updated report from the US Marine Corps is that the State Department ordered them to render their personal weapons inoperable while they destroyed the “crew served weapons” — in other words machine gun-type weapons. Also, these Marines were not evacuated on military aircraft such as the Osprey, which were right off shore. Instead they were flown out on private aircraft. This situation marks one of the most embarrassing episodes in US Marine Security Guard history. This is the same State Department that met with Muslim Brotherhood officials two weeks ago.

Ok, let me explain something, I served a three-year joint assignment with the Marines. Every Marine is an infantryman, a fighter, warrior first, and they are damned proud to tell you that is their distinction. For someone to order a Marine to render his weapon inoperable is unconscionable.

So we are to believe an Obama administration that orders Marine Embassy Security Guards to scurry out the back door is supposed to defeat ISIS? Do you know what the message must be across the jihadist websites and chat rooms right now? What an embarrassment, and just imagine how those Marines felt.

“CNN added that Embassy staff “destroyed weapons that were inside the embassy’s storage warehouses” along with “tens of thousands of documents.” This is hardly the first time that US equipment in the country may have fallen into the wrong hands. Earlier this month, an unnamed US defense official told The Guardian that the US had only a limited ability to perform end-use checks on the $400 million worth of equipment and other military aid Washington has sent to Yemen since 2006.”

So we now have another Islamic terrorist organization armed with American combat equipment — ISIS being the other.

Here’s a discomfiting thought: Iranian-backed Islamists control the capitol cities of Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and are causing issues in Bahrain. We can expect another Hezbollah/Hamas style entity to gain strength, something that cannot please Saudi Arabia.

Business Insider writes, “Yemen is home to the al-Qaida branch considered most capable of attacking external targets and that took credit for the January attack on the satirical French newspaper Charlie Hebdo. And the Houthis are a Shi’ite militia movement allied with Iran. The absence of the US from Yemen during a time when a Tehran-backed group is consolidating power will hardly reassure American allies in the region, particularly Saudi Arabia. The Sanaa embassy is also reportedly the site of a CIA station whose capabilities might be curtailed now that its diplomatic cover has been lost.”

I wonder if the CIA covert operators were forced to destroy their weapons as well?

Does President Obama have any credibility to fight ISIS? That’s not for you to answer — I pose the question to our enemies, as they have the ultimate vote. And they are voting loudly. Just ask the families and friends of the four Americans who’ve been killed.

We are allowing evil to exist and persist. Sir Edmund Burke stated, “all that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.” And no, Congressional authorization for Obama won’t do anything to change the evil of Islamic terrorism. Why? Because some inane liberal progressive socialist will make a foolhardy decision to make our Warriors lay down their weapons.

RUSSIA ARE CONDUCTING LARGEST EVER NUCLEAR DRILL IN HISTORY

Posted by  Sean Adl-Tabatabai   in  News, World     1 day ago (02-14-2015)

Russia have reported that they have begun running their largest ever nuclear missile drills this Thursday.

Nationalinterest.org report:
Citation:

On Tuesday, Col. Igor Yegorov, a spokesman for the Strategic Missile Forces, told Interfax-AVN that the unit began the largest drill in its history on Thursday. According to Yegorov, over 30 missile regiments and both road-mobile and silo-based missile systems are expected to participate in the massive drills.

The exercise it taking place across a vast sway of territory, covering an incredible twelve different regions in the country, from Tver region in western Russia to the Irkutsk region in the east. According to Google Maps, that’s a distance of about 3,998 km (2,484 miles).

Yegorov said the drills will test the Strategic Missile Forces’ preparedness for a wide variety of potential scenarios.

“Strategic missile units are practicing a broad range of missions, including red alert, maneuvering in actual combat and deterrence of sabotage units and precision-guidance attacks of a simulated enemy,” Interfax quoted Yegorov as saying.

The spokesman for the unit went on to explain that the first day of the drill was devoted largely to defending deployed road-mobile missiles from sophisticated enemy sabotage attacks. “According to the drill scenario, sabotage groups of the simulated enemy laid mines on combat patrolling routes [of missile units] and applied poisonous chemicals to the area adjacent to their field positions,” Yegorov said, Interfax reported.

The drill’s focus on protecting deployed road-mobile missile units is indicative of Russia’s desire to better operationalize its strategic forces to execute its nuclear doctrine. Although the Soviet Union maintained a no-first use military doctrine, the erosion of Russia’s conventional military power following the Cold War has forced Moscow to increase its reliance on its nuclear weapons to defend itself. As such, Russia abandoned its no-first use pledge in 1993 and, following NATO’s interventions in the Balkans in the 1990s, issued a new National Security Concept in late 1999 (officially adopted in 2000).

This document lowered the threshold for when Moscow would consider using nuclear weapons to include “preventing aggression on any scale… against Russia and its allies.” In this sense, Russia’s nuclear doctrine is similar to the one the U.S. quietly used throughout most of the Cold War to “offset” the Soviet Union’s numerically superior conventional forces in Europe.

Despite its greater reliance on these weapons, for many years Russia’s nuclear capabilities continued to atrophy, even as arms control agreements with the United States greatly reduced the size of Moscow’s strategic arsenal. In fact, by the middle of the 2000s some U.S. security analysts argued America had achieved nuclear primacy.

Since securing his third term as president in 2012, however, Vladimir Putin has sought to reverse this trend by modernizing Russia’s nuclear forces. Indeed, shortly before the 2012 presidential elections in Russia, Putin pledged, “We should not tempt anyone by allowing ourselves to be weak. We will, under no circumstances, surrender our strategic deterrent capability. Indeed, we will strengthen it.” Similarly, just last December Russia’s Chief of the General Staff, Valery Gerasimov, said that the country’s nuclear modernization will be the Defense Ministry’s top priority in 2015.

True to their word, Russia has undertaken an ambitious effort to modernize all three legs of its nuclear triad by 2021.It has also announced plans to add an additional 8,500 troops to the Strategic Missile Forces by 2020.

As part of this larger effort, Russia has been conducting increasingly frequent and more sophisticated snap nuclear exercises like the one that is currently taking place.

US SENDING AROUND 600 PARATROOPERS TO UKRAINE TO TRAIN TROOPS

A battalion of around 600 American paratroopers will be heading to Ukraine next month to train national guard troops there, a Pentagon spokesman told Fox News Wednesday. The unit heading to the war-torn country is from the U.S. Army’s 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team, based out of Vicenza, Italy. The training is to take place at the Yavariv training center in the western Ukrainian city of Lviv, U.S. Army Europe Commander Lt. Gen. Ben Hodges said, according to The Associated Press. Hodges said the Americans will train the Ukrainians how to better defend themselves against “Russian and rebel artillery and rockets.”

Training also will include securing roads, bridges and other infrastructure and treating and evacuating casualties. He spoke during a visit to NATO’s Multinational Corps Northeast Headquarters in the Polish city of Szczecin. The announcement came as fighting raged in eastern Ukraine Wednesday, killing five people at a bus station in the rebel stronghold of Donetsk. Western leaders confirmed that they would take part in peace talks later in the day. Steffen Seibert, a spokesman for German Chancellor Angela Merkel, said she
and French President Francois Hollande would travel to the Belarusian capital, Minsk, to attend the four-way summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko. European leaders have warned that there is no guarantee a deal will be reached with Moscow, which the West says is fueling a separatist rising in eastern Ukraine with troops and arms. Germany and France have rushed to mediate after a recent uptick in violence in the region, where fighting has killed at least 5,300 people since April.

In Donetsk, rebel officials said that five people were killed and nine wounded in a shelling attack early Wednesday on a bus station, where an Associated Press reporter saw one body. Donetsk city officials said in a statement that three people had been killed in shelling overnight. Officials in Kiev said Wednesday that 19 troops had been killed and 78 wounded in a day of fighting in Debaltseve, a hotly contested transport hub in the region. Poroshenko posted a statement on his website saying that he had made an impromptu visit to the region early Wednesday. He stopped in the city of Kramatorsk, some 30 miles from the nearest front line, where Kiev says 16 people were killed and 48 wounded in a rocket strike Tuesday. “We demand an unconditional peace,” Poroshenko said. “We demand a cease-fire, a withdrawal of all foreign troops, and closing of the border…. We will find a compromise within the country.”

Later, in comments carried by Interfax-Ukraine news

agency, Poroshenko said he was “ready to impose martial law across the country if we are not able to reach an agreement today in Minsk.” At a news conference in Moscow, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that there was “notable progress” in the peace process, but gave no details. Lavrov said the most important goal of the talks would be to implement a cease-fire, and that it would be impossible for Ukraine to re-establish its control over the border with Russia. “In these conditions, to give away the Russian part of the border also would be to cut them [the rebels] off even from humanitarian help and allow them to be surrounded,” Lavrov said. French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said early Wednesday that “quite a number of problems remain” in negotiations, including the future of eastern Ukraine, guarantees about the Ukraine-Russia border, and the prospects of a possible cease-fire, weapons pullback and prisoner exchange. Fabius said the aim of the talks is to win an accord, but “not just one on paper.” Fox News

Over 1,000 Hezbollah terrorists are fighting with Syrian and Iranian forces on the Golan, according to numerous sources.

Over 1,000 Hezbollah terrorists are fighting alongside Syrian and Iranian forces to wrest the Syrian side of the Golan Heights from rebels fighting the army of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. The Hezbollah terrorists are being deployed to keep the lines of supply open for Syrian army troops, and ensure that rebel forces do not cut them off.

The Hezbollah terrorists were deployed in force last week, and scored some quick victories, taking back numerous villages, reports said. However, at least 25 Hezbollah terrorists and Syrian troops were killed in those battles, with 49 of the rebel forces – mostly from the Al Qaeda-affiliated Jabhat al-Nusrah (Al-Nusrah Front) group – killed as well.

Syrian human rights group Al-Merced said that Assad had about 5,000 troops in southern Syria, stationed on or adjacent to the Golan, and that they were being assisted by 1,200 Hezbollah terrorists and an unknown number of Iranian soldiers. In addition, there were other Shi'ite groups from Afghanistan and Iraq helping as well.

It's not known if Jabhat al-Nusrah is currently receiving help from fellow Sunni Islamist group ISIS. In the past, the two groups have disagreed on numerous issues, although recent reports from Lebanon say that Sunni fighters made up of both groups were preparing to attack villages in Lebanon in revenge for the Hezbollah participation.

Meanwhile, members of the Free Syrian Army, which is not affiliated with the Islamists but is fighting Assad, said that it had received information about Hezbollah and Iranian activities in Syria from an Iranian who had been taken captive by Jabhat Al-Nusrah. According to the information, Hezbollah terrorists are establishing cells in Quneitra and Dara'a – both near the border with Israel – to map the movements of their Sunni foes.

An airstrike in January killed a top Hezbollah commander, Jihad Mughniyeh, and six others, including an Iranian general. Israel said that they were preparing a Hezbollah infrastructure for attacking it.

EXCLUSIVE: CHINA SELLS FIGHTER JETS TO ARGENTINA WHICH ARE ABLE TO ATTACK FALKLAND ISLANDS

ARGENTINA is to purchase sophisticated Chinese fighter jets able to attack the Falkland Islands as part of a “strategic partnership” with Beijing

By Marco Giannangeli
Published: 00:01, Sun, February 15, 2015

The move, which further raised tensions in the South Atlantic last night, follows a three-day visit by President Kristina de Kirchner to Beijing last week, in which Argentina secured 15 economic agreements and significant financial investment to bolster its failing economy.

It comes after a decision by Buenos Aires to abandon talks with Vladimir Putin to secure 12 Sukhoi Su-24 'Fencer" bombers, capable of reaching Port Stanley.
Last night sources told the Sunday Express that the deal with Russia, revealed by the Sunday Express in September, had stalled after a series of delays and concerns over post-sale maintenance.

However, that failure will see Argentina now take delivery of 20 of the most advanced fighter jets in the world.

Mrs Kirchner has constantly caused concern for the Foreign Office with her campaign to generate international political support for the islands to be returned to Argentina.

Last month the Ministry of Defence revealed that the Rapier air defence system currently based on Mount Pleasant to counter any potential air threat is to be upgraded, with sources adding that the “operational drumbeat” of routine deployments are also being increased.

China has pledged more than £162billion in investments for Latin America over the next five years, and has indicated that it will write off millions loaned several years ago, allowing nations like Argentina to rebuild their economies.

Crucially, the financial package includes military equipment to re-generate Argentina’s crippled air force which, over the past 18 months, has attempted to buy aircraft from Israel, Spain and, most recently, Moscow.

Argentina had been negotiating for Russian aircraft, but in fact the Fencers they were looking at are very outdated if you are looking to hold the Falklands, and they have a very poor record for aftersales service for customers
Justin Bronk, of the defence think-tank RUSI

In a "working group" formed by the two countries, Beijing agreed to supply around 20 FC-1/JF-17 "Thunder" fighter jets produced by the Chengdu Aircraft Corporation.

The single-seat, single-engine, fighter has a top speed of Mach 1.8 at altitude of 55,000 ft and combat range of 840 miles, allowing it to comfortably fly to Port Stanley and back from the Tierra del Fuego air base in southern Argentina.

It will also carry a range of weapons including air-to-air missiles and laser guided bombs.

The collaboration will see China’s influence in the region soar as Beijing funds the projects such as the Cepernic Kirchner dams, the Belgrano Cargas railway and the Atucha nuclear plant will also generate more than 20,000 jobs.

A senior RAF source said: “The procurement of Chinese aircraft is worrying; they are modern, fast and very capable.

However, we have a robust capability in the Falklands and I imagine that de Kirchner is trying to reinforce her military to strengthen her foreign policy at the negotiating table."

Last night Justin Bronk, of the defence think-tank RUSI, said: “Argentina had been negotiating for Russian aircraft, but in fact the Fencers they were looking at are very outdated if you are looking to hold the Falklands, and they have a very poor record for aftersales service for customers.

“China’s JF-17 is based on the old Soviet Union’s Mig 21, the backbone to the Soviet air force, so it has excellent pedigree.

But it is cheaper than what Russia has to offer, brand new, and has a good reputation for being reliable and having an extremely wide armament fit.

“It is the non-Western equivalent to the Swedish Gripen, which Argentina originally tried to acquire through Brazil before the deal was stopped by Britain because it contained 30 per cent British parts.

“It would certainly allow Argentina’s air force to fly over Port Stanley, though it’s no match for RAF Typhoons and its pilots don’t have the asymmetrical training that RAF has.

In addition, we have the Type-45 destroyer which is the most formidable air defence destroyer in the world.

“This deal would give China the first proper export market for this new fighter jet, which has been developed with Pakistan, and it seems China is willing to offer Argentina very good finance terms.”

He added: “ There is definitely an aspect of trying to restore Argentinean martial pride, bearing in mind what an enormous issue the ‘Malvinas’ issue remains there.

For her to be able to say ‘we can hold the islands’ is vital for her.

“And while she is likely to be replaced by moderates when she steps down in October, it would be a mistake to think that this issue will go away.”

FALKLANDS ON HIGH ALERT: HUNDREDS OF BRITISH TROOPS SENT TO ISLANDS TO BOOST SECURITY

THREE hundred extra troops are to be sent to the Falklands as the islands reach their highest state of alert in almost 20 years.

Extra British troops will be stationed on the island for three to six weeks

They are part of a force of more than 1,000 soldiers being prepared for duty in the south Atlantic and will be sent out in five tranches of 150 to 300.

They will include members of the Royal Artillery and 3 Commando, Royal Marines, with each group staying on the islands for three to six weeks.

Military chiefs are mounting a series of “high readiness reinforcement” exercises to plug a strategic gap until the Queen Elizabeth aircraft carrier is operational in 2020.

NORFOLK (NNS) -- To conduct ballistic missile defense operations in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility, the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Laboon (DDG 58) deployed today from Naval Station Norfolk.

Electronic Technician 2nd Class James Heichel explained that they are ready and excited for this opportunity be part of a mission without limits.

"This is going to be a really great deployment; the crew is really focused and we are looking forward to doing our jobs and hopefully delivering freedom along the way," said Heichel.

In preparation for their deployment, the Laboon crew just completed their composite training unit exercise (COMPTUEX) with the Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group. The crew trained during exercises involving small boat operations, routine flight operations, weapons firing and damage control drills.

"Laboon is a great ship capable of extraordinary things and will be used as a tool to deliver a message to the other side of the world," said Command Master Chief James Roberts. "We are deploying to support our allies in our never-ending mission to stand up for what is right."

Commissioned in 1995, Laboon is the eighth Arleigh Burke-class destroyer and the only Navy ship named after a Navy chaplain. Father "Jake" Laboon was awarded the Silver Star during World War II for diving off his submarine to rescue a downed aviator while under enemy fire.

GULFPORT, Miss. (NNS) -- Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1 departed for Operation Bearing Duel, a field training exercise (FTX), Feb. 12, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and Stennis Space Center in Hancock County, Mississippi.

The scenario for this training exercise is a deployment to the fictitious location 'Semerica,' where the battalion will conduct construction operations and infrastructure repair in the wake of an invasion by the notional 'Chirean Armed Forces.'

"This is typical of the type of situations Seabees were made to support. The training environment will challenge each Seabee physically, tactically and technically," said Cmdr. Kemit Spears, NMCB-1 commanding officer. "I am excited to see the great work this team is about to showcase."

During the FTX, the bees will be graded on how well they execute the fundamental skills necessary to have a successful mission in a diverse area of operations.

"One of our goals during this exercise was to obtain real world projects that our Seabees could complete and turn over to the Nation of Semerica," said Lt. Cmdr. Ben Waite, NMCB-1 operations officer. "Overall, NMCB-1 will have more than 100 Seabees in direct support of enduring construction projects. These are also projects that could be constructed at any location around the world during a peacetime or contingency deployment."

Upon successful completion of Operation Bearing Duel, NMCB-1 will become Gulfport's ready battalion, who would immediately mobilize in the case of an emergency and be fully qualified for its upcoming deployment.

"The Battalion has undertaken a very rigorous homeport training program since returning from deployment," said NMCB-1 Command Master Chief Mike Lopez.

"It has included combat and military skills and construction training, which has prepared us to complete our certification exercise at Camp Shelby. Our Seabees are charged and ready to tackle this challenge!"

The evolutions are graded by representatives from Naval Construction Group 2, who will also provide constructive feedback and training.

NMCB-1, "The First and The Finest," is homeported in Gulfport, Miss. The battalion is scheduled to deploy in 2014. NMCB-1's vision remains to serve the world's greatest Navy and sustain its proud Seabee heritage.

JORDAN TO GET MORE US WEAPONS TO FIGHT ISIS - REPORT

Published time: February 14, 2015 13:36

Pentagon is about to resupply Jordan’s military with munitions the kingdom is spending while inflicting airstrikes against the militants of the Islamic State, media reports. Delivery of arms, including JDAM precision bombs, is expected in a few weeks.

Though both the Pentagon and the State Department have declined to comment, a number of US officials have confirmed to Reuters on condition of anonymity that the Hashemite Kingdom is not going to suffer a shortage of ordnance while fighting ISIS.

Jordan's King Abdullah personally appealed to American lawmakers for more military support and delivery of munitions and other weapons in the first place.

While visiting Washington last week, Jordanian monarch reported delays in normal delivery channels and specified Jordanian military’s requests, which sought aircraft parts, additional night vision equipment and precision munitions. Reportedly, Amman requested Joint Direct Attack Munitions (JDAM), Boeing-made kits that enable modifying of a conventional bomb into precision-guided systems operated under GPS technology.

Jordan, which joined the US-led anti-Islamic State coalition in September, has augmented its military effort following the execution of its downed military pilot, Muath al-Kasaesbeh, who was burned alive in a cage by ISIS.

Jordan is running out of bombs and needs more ordnance to keep the air strike pressure on the ISIS, a source close to the Jordanian government told Reuters.
Jordan's Air Force is specifically focusing its efforts on bombing the Islamic State’s positions on the territory of Syria. According to the Pentagon’s estimates, last week Jordan dropped 72 bombs in the first wave of its revenge.

King Abdullah's visit to the US prompted the Senate Armed Services Committee, led by Republican Senator John McCain, to urge the Obama administration to deal with Jordan's requests “with a sense of urgency reflecting the pace of events.”

“This committee’s immediate concern is to ensure Jordan has all the equipment and resources necessary to continue taking the fight directly to ISIL,” McCain said.

“If the [Obama] administration does not up its game with Jordan in terms of equipment for their military, help on refugees, there will be strong pushback from Congress,” a Republican committee member, Senator Lindsey Graham, said.

To bolster Jordan’s ability to counter terrorism, Washington has signed a memorandum of understanding with Amman On February 3, allocating significantly greater funds for military aid to Jordan.

While usually the US provides Jordan with more than $300 million annual security assistance, the new document confirms Washington’s commitment to increase aid from $660 million to $1 billion for 2015-2017.

ITALY AGREES TO PUT 5,000 SOLDIERS ON THE STREETS AMID FEARS OF ISLAMIC STATE ATTACK

ITALY have tonight agreed plans to put almost 5,000 soldiers on the streets amid fears of potential attacks from Islamic State (IS) militants.

Italy have agreed to put almost 5,000 soliders on the streets amid fears of an IS attackThe troops will guard sensitive sites and targets, including in Rome where around 500 members of the military will be deployed.

In the Italian capital the soldiers will help guard Jewish schools, the city's synagogue and diplomatic residences.

The measures, announced after a meeting of military and security officials, will be implemented until at least June.

Authorities consider Rome particularly sensitive because it is home to the Vatican.

In the past, Islamic militant websites have posted vague threats against Pope Francis and the Roman Catholic Church.

The news comes amid rising fears of attacks by Islamic extremists in Italy after the beheadings of 21 Egyptian Christians by terror group IS.

The atrocity, shown in a gruesome video released on Sunday, happened on the Libyan shore of the Mediterranean Sea which is a short boat ride from Italy.
Pope Francis earlier today labelled the film a "barbaric assassination" of innocents who he said were killed for their faith.

Entitled "A Message Signed With Blood To The Nation Of The Cross", the IS video shows Coptic Christians handcuffed and dressed in orange jumpsuits.

In the sickening five-minute clip their blood can later be seen filling the waters of the Mediterranean Sea.

Pope Francis called the 21 Christians killed by IS martyrsPope Francis called those who died in the propaganda film "martyrs".

Speaking today, he said: "Their only words were: 'Jesus, help me!' They were killed simply for the fact that they were Christians.

"The blood of our Christian brothers and sisters is a testimony which cries out to be heard.

"It makes no difference whether they be Catholics, Orthodox, Copts or Protestants. They are Christians."

There is rising in concern in Italy about IS establishing a presence on the shores of the Mediterranean just a few hundred miles from them.

They estimate that at least 200,000 refugees and immigrants are poised to soon cross into Sicily and Lampedusa, Italy’s southernmost territory.

Authorities fear that terrorists could covertly try to sneak into Italy with the thousands of migrants who are making their way across the Mediterranean.

Prior to the latest IS video emerging, Italy’s defense minister Roberta Pinotti told the Il Messaggero newspaper: "The risk is imminent.

"We cannot wait any longer. Italy has national-defence needs and cannot have a caliphate ruling across the shores from us."

ISIS IN EVEN MORE TROUBLE - US SPECIAL FORCES ENGAGE FOR THE FIRST TIME

Reports out of Iraq indicate that American Special Forces “advisers” have engaged ISIS in ground combat for the first time.

ISIS forces attacked an Iraqi Army outpost occupied by more than 100 Americans around 1a.m. local time. The American forces responded “equipped with light and medium weapons, supported by F-18″ fighter jets according to sources on the ground, according to Shafaq News Iraq.

US troops have entered with its Iraqi partner, according to Colonel, Salam Nazim in line against ISIS elements and clashed with them for more than two hours, to succeed in removing them from al-Dolab area, and causing losses in their ranks, at a time American fighter jets directed several strikes focused on ISIS gatherings that silenced their heavy sources of fire. He points out that the clashes took place between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m.

A field commander told reporters that the Americans were able to inflict heavy casualties on ISIS while suffering no casualties of their own while forcing the terror group back to their base some 10 kilometers away.

Sheikh Mahmud Nimrawi, a prominent tribal leader in the region, said that “US forces intervened because of ISIS started to come near the base, which they are stationed in so out of self-defense, they responded, welcoming the US intervention, which I hope will not be the last.“

The Sheikh continued, “We have made progress in al-Dolab area, in which ISIS has withdrawn from to the villages beyond, after the battles which involved a private American force , and provided a great impetus firearm, and opened hubs around the region enabled them to storm and surprise ISIS fighters.”

The short version is that ISIS attacked a base where more than 100 Special Forces “advisers” are stationed and took a two hour beating from both the air and the ground while the good guys took no casualties.
